All I ordered was a half turkey sandwich.

I'm tired of overpaying for bad service and mediocre food. They forgot to put the mayo and mustard on my mediocre sandwich. The young staff need to learn to smile....

Great bakery. Typically visit once a year to get a filled King Cake for Mardi Gras... far better than what you can get in the stores in GA. They offer a bunch of baked goods that taste good. Lots of seating options inside. Service is friendly enough.

Assorted preserves, honey , soups and such

This has been a local favorite bread , coffee, cafe of mine for years! Featuring the freshest breads, pastries, sandwiches and great Illy's coffee this is neighborhood spot for many. Serving Johns Creek for over 20 years and my favorite is the pumpkin choc. Chip tea cake ( bread) and seasonal favorites of cookies , breads which is baked fresh daily, muffins and even lunch options. The feel is that of a cafe but also a souvenir shop with cute towels , soups to make at home, preserves , syrups, and more. The holla bread and vanilla spread is a must try and not to mention the free samples to try before you buy. Even great options for the health conscious. The staff is very helpful and always greets you with a smile. What a variety of uses for personal or to gift to your business clients , friends , neighbors, and family. Simply the best !

Iced vanilla coffee with soy milk and a gluten free egg white with avocado breakfast sandwich
Clarissa L.

Just happened upon this spot while running errands and stopped for a quick brunch. I try to stay away from dairy and gluten so seeing the options on the menu were a big plus. (Serious gluten intolerances should be careful eating here however due to cross contamination) . I grabbed an iced vanilla coffee with soy milk and a breakfast sandwich- gluten free, egg white and avocado. 5 stars for service and taste. Lots of options to choose from, many many things to purchase: breads, treats, jams, soups and more!

Breakfast sandwich with bacon on foccacia
Alex K.

Everything you can ask for in a local bakery. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacon, on foccacia, and it was warm, juicy, and just right. I actually planned to buy the Vidalia Hot Sauce, so I put some on the second half and it was even better. Not very spicy, more sweet, but very delicious, if you like vidalia onions. I've also had the blue roast beef sandwich and a pecan bar, as well as the tuscan dip. Everything is high quality, fresh, and delicious. Their hot americano is the best I've had for as long as I remember, I think it's my new go-to. They also have honeys, jams, syrups, and other nice gift ideas. Very happy overall, I'll definitely be back!

Savannah Bar
Brandon P.

Great stop for some breakfast pastries and a nice loaf of bread for dinner. Inside was a nice shop with plenty of bread options, a small ordering area up front and then some seating in the back. I had a pumpkin muffin and a savannah bar (bit of a fruit and granola bar). Muffin was ok but the savannah bar was a great morning snack that felt healthier but also filling. Also grabbed a loaf of jalapeño cheddar bread to go with some chili and that bread was a hit! Not your normal grocery store bread (a bit more expensive as well, but worth it for pairing with a dinner)! I did get the loaf frozen which I was a little worried about but it just thawed on the counter for a couple hours and was good to go. If you check out the bake menu, the breads of the day aren't cooked until about 11 or so. An early stop and you'll miss the bread baked that day if that's what you were looking for. They were also out of several of the other breads.

Fantastic quality food. Pricey but you get what you pay for. If you love fresh bread, great quality ingredients, good coffee then this place will not disappoint. I got the baja chipotle turkey sandwich, savannah bar and iced latte (with hazelnut, heavy cream). Everything was good with my great impression being the savannah bar- so hearty and delicious.

Unfortunately, my experience today was completely different. I was served scrambled eggs, and just as I was about to eat a piece, I noticed several short hairs embedded in the eggs. I was extremely disgusted and almost vomited. I immediately called my server, who went to speak with the manager. The manager came over, apologized, and told me that they would remove my meal from the bill. While I appreciate the apology and the gesture, I was much more concerned about how something like this could happen in the kitchen in the first place. I asked the manager to speak with the kitchen staff because this is a serious food-safety and hygiene issue. What made this even more disappointing is that I have trusted this restaurant for years. I used to feel comfortable bringing my family here, and there was a person who always made sure everything was served properly and that customers were taken care of. It also seems that there has been a change in management, as I no longer see the same manager I used to. After today's experience, I no longer feel comfortable eating food prepared in this kitchen. Finding multiple hairs embedded in my food is unacceptable and extremely disturbing. I don't plan to return for at least a year, and unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this restaurant to others. I sincerely hope management takes this incident seriously and addresses the hygiene and food-handling practices in the kitchen. This was a very disappointing and disgusting experience after five years of being a loyal customer.

However, we found some time, and here we are. It's not my first time having to wait because a place is busy without reservations, but during the wintry times... they didn't have much of a wait. We were seated pretty quick, but in the "outdoor" area that really needed the heaters to work for it to be comfortable. They do zip up the area to keep the wind out, but the cold still seeps in. When I eventually got my food, it cooled down faster than I could eat it. Now the food was good. I have a soft spot for breakfast/brunch and would honestly eat it for dinner if they offered it, but they do not. Regardless, they did not disappoint! Everything was flavorful and filling, the tostada and market hash being the standout menu items for me. The market hash, in particular, was such an unexpectedly delicious dish because it seemed too healthy to be good, but everything worked well together to not make it so drab. There was a good mix of different vegetation too. If I lived nearby, I would most likely opt to get that more often than not. If there was anything I would change, it would be the potatoes. They are soft and seasoned well, but I would prob be more likely to eat them for dinner than brunch. Perhaps that's more of a personal preference though with how I would imagine potatoes during the day and how I like them.

The space itself is a great size with plenty of seating both inside and out. The covered patio is key - you get the outdoor energy without the sun beaming down on you the entire meal. I went with the lamb chops served over garlic mashed potatoes, paired with the crispy sweet chili brussel sprouts and creamy mac and cheese. Every single thing hit. The lamb was tender, well-seasoned, and sat on top of some of the smoothest, most flavorful mashed potatoes I've had in a minute. The brussel sprouts actually stayed crispy, and the mac and cheese was rich and creamy. On top of that, the portions are serious - you're definitely getting your money's worth. For dessert, I tried the red velvet cheesecake. It turned out to be an actual slice of cheesecake sandwiched directly between two slices of red velvet cake. A little wild, but ridiculous in the best way possible. Great vibes, top-tier food, and generous portions. Just make sure you don't have major plans afterward, because a food coma is guaranteed.

Great food, really…read moregood portions, fair pricing, a clean and comfortable space, and genuinely friendly service. We got to meet the owner, Sean, who was incredibly nice. He told us his wife, Sarah, is behind a lot of the sweet stuff, including the banana bread and baklava cinnamon roll. She knows what she's doing. We started with the fried deviled eggs, baklava cinnamon roll, and banana bread. The fried deviled eggs were good. Nice crunchy outside and a little sweet sauce on top, although I wish the filling had a stronger flavor. I'd give them around a 6/10. Still, fried deviled eggs beat regular deviled eggs any day. The baklava cinnamon roll was awesome. Warm, gooey, sweet, covered in honey and full of that baklava flavor. If you like cinnamon rolls and baklava, somebody basically decided there was no reason you shouldn't have both at the same time. But the banana bread was special. It came out warm with a slight crisp around the edges, then they added peanut butter, honey, fresh strawberries, bananas and walnuts. I had no idea banana bread and peanut butter worked that well together. All those flavors together were fantastic. For my meal, I had the fried chicken Eggs Benedict with the cheesy hash brown casserole. Think Southern biscuits and gravy, fried chicken and Eggs Benedict all getting married on the same plate. The biscuit had a nice crisp on the bottom, the chicken was tender and well fried, the gravy was good, and once you break that egg yolk over everything, it all comes together. I'm normally not even a big Eggs Benedict person, and I loved this. I also ordered the creamy grits, because I like judging breakfast places by their grits. These definitely passed. They're so creamy that the texture almost reminded me of mashed potatoes, but they still had plenty of flavor. We also tried the pancakes, and those are legit. Slight crisp around the edges, soft inside and enough flavor and sweetness that you could honestly eat them without syrup. They had a weekend fall special, pumpkin bread French toast, and that was another winner. Rich, sweet and definitely something I'd order again. Sara had the avocado toast with the hash brown casserole, topped with avocado, cottage cheese and cherry tomatoes. Fresh, colorful and another really good plate. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean with a modern look mixed with a little old-school café feel. They also have a patio outside. Even the bathrooms were spotless -- and yes, I'm mentioning it: they had some surprisingly fancy toilet paper. It's the little things. Overall, we had a great experience. Good portions, reasonable prices, friendly people and a menu that's actually fun to explore. There are already several things I want to come back and try, especially from the lunch menu. Budders suddenly became one of my favorite brunch spots in the area. Definitely worth checking out.

Once you enter the buffet, there's a drink station with iced tea, hot ginger tea, and water. The ginger tea was especially fragrant and made for a great palate cleanser. I highly recommend the scallion chicken, green beans, century egg porridge, and stir-fried celery. These were all dishes that reminded me of what my Chinese friends' moms would make at home--very comforting, flavorful, and well-seasoned. I personally don't like overly salty Asian food, so the seasoning was perfect for me. Everything tasted very authentic and homemade. Don't expect a huge selection like you would find at a typical Chinese buffet. There were around 20-30 different dishes, ranging from comfort foods and shumai and dimsum to desserts. I actually liked the smaller selection because everything felt more intentional and authentic rather than like a massive spread. It also seems like they change the menu fairly often, so don't expect to see the exact same dishes every time you visit. I actually think that's a pleasant surprise and gives you a reason to come back and try something different. They also host a lot of events, so you may see activities happening on the other side of the buffet area. I thought that added to the atmosphere and made the place feel very welcoming. One tip: if your party is larger than four people, definitely call ahead so they can arrange seating for you!
