I had tried a seafood boil from here a while back, and the sauce wasn't as good as what I've had from a local competitor. However, my boyfriend insisted that we give it another try, so we ended up ordering the Kickin Combo #1, along with a dozen raw oysters and an order of fried oysters and fries. The raw oysters came out first. I didn't want any, so they were for my boyfriend. Immediately after trying the first one, he wasn't happy with it. He said it tasted fishy but decided to give another one a try, thinking maybe the first was just a bad one. Unfortunately, the second wasn't any better, so he sent them back. Next came the fried food, which is never a miss. I absolutely love the fried oysters here. Then the seafood boil arrived, and at first glance, it looked promising. The seafood appeared large and fresh. I grabbed a shrimp first, sucked the head, and immediately noticed a strong fishy taste. I then dipped the shrimp into the sauce, but the sauce was watery and lacked flavor. I tried a few of the other items in the boil, including a mussel, but the texture was extremely chewy. Between my boyfriend and me, we ate a total of about ten or less things from the boil before deciding we were done. Unfortunately, it was not good whatsoever, and I was extremely disappointed. I asked if there was anything that could be done, and the manager offered to reheat it. I explained that the temperature wasn't the issue but the fishy taste and the texture of the seafood. He then said there wasn't anything else he could do besides take 20% off the bill. While I appreciated the discount, it was still disappointing given how much of the meal we were unable to eat. The service itself was good, and the ambiance was chill, especially since we went during dinner. Unfortunately, though, the food quality of the seafood boil and raw oysters overshadowed the positives for me. All in all, I won't be returning.

From king crab to fried jumbo shrimp, this food won't disappoint. Their house seasoning for fries and other fried foods is amazing. Both sweet and sassy, but very addictive. The homemade cocktail sauce seems to employ the same flavors as part of their mix. Yum! Preeling, cracking, and dipping makes for a messy meal so dress accordingly. The tables have fresh paper on top, ready for you to do your worst. Bibs and tools, too! Service here is very attentive and friendly. The dinning room is casual and spacious. This is a local gem open for lunch and dinner! Fresh seafood and lots of bold flavors await!

We have visited this location previously and had a great experience with both the service and food, so we were looking forward to returning while visiting the area. When we arrived, we noticed there was a large party being hosted in the private/back party room, which was nice to see that the restaurant is able to accommodate larger gatherings. Our waitress was also very kind, friendly, and attentive, and we appreciated her customer service throughout our visit. There were, however, a few concerns we wanted to bring to management's attention. First, we noticed several desserts sitting off to the side behind us that appeared to be uncovered. We are not sure whether these desserts had been prepared in advance for customers to order, but if that was the case, we strongly recommend that they remain properly covered or protected at all times. With customers and employees walking nearby and insects potentially flying around the restaurant, leaving uncovered desserts exposed does not appear sanitary or appropriate for food service. We also experienced an issue with the temperature of some of our food. Two of our seafood dishes arrived only semi-warm rather than hot and fresh. We ordered the Pappadeaux Platter with stuffed shrimp and fries. Unfortunately, the fries were cold, and the seafood on top was only lukewarm. This was particularly disappointing because we were looking forward to enjoying the seafood while visiting the restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and broccolini, and my entire meal arrived hot. Because my meal was served at the appropriate temperature, we were confused as to why the other dishes were not. We understand that different items may require different preparation times, but customers should receive their complete meals hot and fresh. Our suggestion would be to coordinate the timing of the food preparation, particularly with items such as fries, so that they are prepared as close to serving time as possible. Food should ideally arrive at the table hot and fresh rather than having one component become cold while waiting for the other items to be completed. We did bring the issue to our waitress's attention, and she was very accommodating and provided a $12 credit toward the fries. We appreciated her effort to address the concern. However, the credit did not change the fact that my husband and daughter were unable to fully enjoy their seafood dishes because the food was not served hot. We are sharing this feedback because we have visited this location before and had a great experience, so we know the restaurant is capable of providing excellent food and service. Our goal is simply to bring these concerns to management's attention so they can be reviewed with the appropriate staff. Thank you for taking the time to review our experience. We hope our feedback is helpful and that future visits will provide the quality of food, presentation, sanitation, and service that we experienced during our previous visit.

Juju Seafood | Duluth, GA…read more Juju Seafood is a Korean restaurant that has customizable seafood boils, Korean seafood dishes, and late-night Korean comfort food. The owner is very cool and friendly. Is a pretty small place and got a cool chill vibe. I like they open late. Here's everything we tried: Spicy Chicken Feet Stew A generous 2-3 person portion loaded with bean sprouts that soak up all the flavorful sauce. The chicken feet were braised until incredibly tender, and the broth was spicy, rich, and incredibly addictive. The rice that came with it needs more mayo, so is more creamy and bc is not sticking together to make it into a ball. Beef & Shrimp Pancakes (Recommend ) Mini Korean-style pancakes served half beef and half shrimp with a chili soy dipping sauce. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Garlic Butter Seafood Boil (Recommend ) One of their signature dishes! You can customize your own seafood boil with your favorite seafood and seasoning. We chose the Garlic Butter flavor, and it was rich, buttery, and packed with garlic without being overwhelming. Spicy Braised Chicken & Crab Stew Available Fridays and Saturdays only, with only 10 portions made each day. The sweet and spicy broth is cooked with potatoes and fragrant perilla leaves that add so much flavor. First come, first served! Lychee Soju (My Favorite , but little pricy) Served with one whole lychee per shot! Fruity, refreshing, and so smooth that you could barely taste the soju.

It's modern, chic, and stylish; you almost feel like you've stepped into a completely different part of Duluth. I think it's a great date spot because it's such a cute upscale atmosphere paired with amazing food. We ordered the mala pot with beef only (no shrimp, with extra beef), special lamb skewers, special beef skewers, and a seafood boil with shrimp, clams, mussels, octopus, corn, and lotus root slices. Everything was amazing, but let's focus on the lamb skewers for a second. I have never liked lamb, and this was the first time I've ever genuinely enjoyed the flavor of lamb without that strong gaminess. The texture was also amazing. You can already tell the beef skewers are going to be good, but somehow I actually liked the lamb more than the beef... which I never thought I would say! This was my first time here btw, so the menu and ordering process felt a little overwhelming. BUT the waiters were really nice, patient, and happy to explain things, which made the experience much easier for a first-timer.

It had been quite a while since my friends and I got together, so I didn't even realize they had moved a little farther down next to Chubby Castle! The new location feels much more spacious than before, and it was pretty busy and lively when we came in. This time, one of my friends ordered the Crispy Fried Pork. As someone from Fujian, I usually prefer sweeter flavors like Guo Bao Rou, but this savory version was actually really good too. The second dish was Cumin Beef, and it smelled amazing with the onions and cilantro. I ordered the Jianghu Crispy Pork, which was crispy without being overly greasy. The dried chili seasoning gave it a nice kick and made it especially good with rice. We finished with some Red Willow Beef Skewers and Crispy Chicken Cartilage. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and perfect for sharing. More than anything, it was just nice to sit down with old friends again--eating, laughing, and catching up on what's been going on in everyone's lives. As we get older, you really start to realize that every chance to get together feels a little more precious. Great food, good memories, and a very enjoyable return after all these years.
