Our server came right away to get our drinks and gave us time to review the menu. I've been to Eclipse di Luna several times, and for whatever reason, this visit was my favorite when it came to the food. Maybe we were just extra hungry, but everything seemed to taste better than on my previous visits. Between the two locations, I definitely prefer this one. The décor feels more festive, and the atmosphere is lively. They have live music starting early in the evening and continuing until around 2 AM on weekends, making it a great place to celebrate, socialize, or enjoy a fun night out. Just know that it gets very loud, so if you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this probably isn't the place. We've celebrated three or four birthdays here over the years, but this time we hosted a much larger party of about 50 people. Since it was such a big group, we had to reserve a preset menu with a deposit. It included unlimited food and drinks, and we were able to choose from several entrées while ordering as much as we wanted throughout the evening. The biggest downside was the wait. After being seated, it took about 45 minutes to an hour before the first dishes arrived. By then, a lot of us were definitely getting hangry. Thankfully, once the food started coming out, it kept flowing, and with the drinks constantly coming, everyone filled up pretty quickly. As for the food, this visit was definitely an improvement. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, only needing a tiny pinch more of salt. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, and the calamari paired perfectly with the pico de gallo dipping sauce. The steak, however, was a little overcooked and chewy for my liking. The paella was just okay; the rice was cooked well, but the seasoning didn't quite hit the mark, and the mussels were unfortunately overcooked and dry. One thing to keep in mind is that there aren't any private event rooms. Everything takes place in the main dining area, so your party shares the space with everyone else while enjoying the live music. There's also a large outdoor patio, and sometimes they open the garage doors to blend the indoor and outdoor atmosphere, which is really nice. They didn't do that during our visit, though. Despite the lack of dedicated dancing space, we still had an amazing time. The restaurant was lively enough that our energetic group blended right in; we even got a train going through the restaurant! Overall, it was a fun celebration with great energy, good food, and an entertaining atmosphere. I'm really hoping the new Medley development near my house brings in a restaurant with this same kind of vibe. I'd definitely be a regular. read more

My husband originally wanted to head down to Buckhead, because apparently that's where "the vibe" lives. But the second we walked into Eclipse, he immediately pivoted and admitted this place looked better inside and out. Victory tastes sweet... almost as sweet as the caramel drizzle on the tres leches cake. Let's talk about the atmosphere. There's a literal indoor tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant like we're dining in an enchanted Spanish forest. Add in the giant crystal chandelier dripping drama from the ceiling and you've got a space that says, "Yes, we're upscale... but we also know how to party." The live guitarist sealed the deal. Nothing says romantic tapas night like a man casually shredding a red guitar five feet from your table. Now the food. It came out fast. Suspiciously fast. "Did they know we were coming?" fast. And every single plate slapped. The crispy potatoes were seasoned like they had something to prove. The empanada was golden and flaky with that creamy dipping sauce that makes you consider licking the container when no one's looking. The short ribs were so tender they looked like they'd been emotionally supported before being served. Even the fried croquettes and goat cheese with carmelized onions and honey felt like they had main-character energy. And that cake. That glorious, whipped-topped, caramel-drizzled masterpiece. I would write it a thank-you note. The staff? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without forcing it. The kind of service that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. The only downside: it was the first warm day in a while, and the sun decided our table was the chosen one. Half of our bodies were enjoying ambient romance lighting. The other half was being interrogated by a solar laser beam. My pasty white legs were one direct ray away from combusting like Louis in Interview with a Vampire. I considered rotating every five minutes like a rotisserie chicken. Minor sun-induced trauma aside, this place is a solid five stars. Gorgeous interior. Live music. Fast, phenomenal food. Amazing staff. And the satisfaction of proving Buckhead is not the only place that can deliver a whole vibe. We've been here a few times and the food and service is pretty consistently good. Some of our go-to's are the Patatas Bravas, Calamares Fritos, lamb chops (my personal fav!), empanadas, croquetas, and paella. The restaurant is so beautiful too. We typically end up sitting near the tree that's in the middle of the restaurant. It's a bit tight as far as seating with the tables so close to each other so you do need to be mindful for the servers trying to squeeze between tables when dropping off food. They're usually pretty quick to get things out despite how busy they typically are. It's definitely got a fun, young vibe with a cool cocktail menu to match. read more

This place has a fun ambiance. The overall lighting is dim but candles adorn each table and there are large chandeliers hanging above. Theres also a tree at the center of the dining area, and lots of wood and muted colors, giving it a moody vibe. My boyfriend and I were both dining there for the first time and we were very satisfied. We started with the plantains and patatas bravas. I really preferred the potatoes. They were piping hot with a slightly spicy, crispy skin. Plantains were a bit too mushy for me and I actually think the honey made them too sweet. For my main I had the veggie paella. Even the single serving size is a generous portion. It had peas, squash, bell peppers, and I think lima beans. The flavor was nice, not over or under seasoned IMO. Surprise highlight of the night was the live music and dancing happening as we finished our dinner. We got plátanos Fritos, empanada de pollo, Mejillones, Picanha a la parrilla, fondue de camarones, Pulpo a la gallega. The Picanha really didn't taste like Picanha in my opinion and I've had plenty. Empanada de pollo was borderline warm and expected it to be piping hot. The pulpo was rather salty and some pieces burnt, although it was very tender! The mejillones and fondue were really good! My wife ordered the Paella Barcelonata and we were extremely disappointed with it. It was very fishy and shrimp in it were very small and chewy and overcooked.
