Took my elder son on a Saturday evening (unplanned mother son date); Arrived around 8.30 evening and the place was packed. Amazingly we were able to be seated right away outdoor at the patio. Our server came right away to get our drinks and gave us time to review the menu. Ambiance is definitely Food wise, our top to bottom rank is: - ahi tuna - grilled steak - grilled octopus (sauce is the BOMB ) - ceviche - Mac & cheese (need more umami/salt). We paired ours with octopus and steak - otherwise it is bland. read more

Service was very poor- we waited a very long time before our order was taken and when our order was served, it was in pieces- very hodge podge. The food was ok - nothing special and when they say "tapas", they MEAN tapas - very small portions. Don't go there hungry. The restaurant is very attractive, very lively and very noisy. Take a light- kinda dark. Couldn't read the menu. Seemed to be very popular but not for me! read more

I've been to Eclipse di Luna several times, and for whatever reason, this visit was my favorite when it came to the food. Maybe we were just extra hungry, but everything seemed to taste better than on my previous visits. Between the two locations, I definitely prefer this one. The décor feels more festive, and the atmosphere is lively. They have live music starting early in the evening and continuing until around 2 AM on weekends, making it a great place to celebrate, socialize, or enjoy a fun night out. Just know that it gets very loud, so if you're looking for a quiet, intimate dinner, this probably isn't the place. We've celebrated three or four birthdays here over the years, but this time we hosted a much larger party of about 50 people. Since it was such a big group, we had to reserve a preset menu with a deposit. It included unlimited food and drinks, and we were able to choose from several entrées while ordering as much as we wanted throughout the evening. The biggest downside was the wait. After being seated, it took about 45 minutes to an hour before the first dishes arrived. By then, a lot of us were definitely getting hangry. Thankfully, once the food started coming out, it kept flowing, and with the drinks constantly coming, everyone filled up pretty quickly. As for the food, this visit was definitely an improvement. The ceviche was fresh and flavorful, only needing a tiny pinch more of salt. The Brussels sprouts were excellent, and the calamari paired perfectly with the pico de gallo dipping sauce. The steak, however, was a little overcooked and chewy for my liking. The paella was just okay; the rice was cooked well, but the seasoning didn't quite hit the mark, and the mussels were unfortunately overcooked and dry. One thing to keep in mind is that there aren't any private event rooms. Everything takes place in the main dining area, so your party shares the space with everyone else while enjoying the live music. There's also a large outdoor patio, and sometimes they open the garage doors to blend the indoor and outdoor atmosphere, which is really nice. They didn't do that during our visit, though. Despite the lack of dedicated dancing space, we still had an amazing time. The restaurant was lively enough that our energetic group blended right in; we even got a train going through the restaurant! Overall, it was a fun celebration with great energy, good food, and an entertaining atmosphere. I'm really hoping the new Medley development near my house brings in a restaurant with this same kind of vibe. I'd definitely be a regular. read more

If you are looking for a spot with high energy and a fantastic atmosphere, this is it. The live music really sets the tone for a great evening, making it a standout choice for happy hour. One of the best things about Eclipse Di Luna is their inclusivity with the drink menu. They offer great choices for designated drivers that go well beyond just water or soda--it's refreshing to see a place put effort into their non-alcoholic options. The food menu is equally flexible. There are lots of tapas to choose from, which works perfectly whether you are coordinating a meal for a large group or just stopping in for a quick snack. The variety ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend for the vibes, the music, and the excellent small plates! read more

We were greeted and seated per our reservation quickly. The service was lightning speed. The food was beyond amazing. We loved our server, Sandra. The drinks were fast and excellent. The music was great until the live band came on. They were great, but brought the noise level up a notch making it hard to talk. I took off two stars because they had the door propped open right next to our table. We asked several time to close it because it was so cold, but they said servers were going in and out and they needed it propped open. Otherwise, it was a great experience. read more

We came on Cinco de Mayo. The service was excellent, but we were disappointed they didn't have any specials or any of the Buria tacos and Cinco type stuff until 5 PM that night. Cinco is an all-day event! The server fix let us keep the clay cup thrvcocktail was in, which was nice. The empanda De carne was good! The fondue De camarones was good but it needed an extra piece of two of bread. read more

I am a frequent customer here and I will continue to be. The ambiance is what drew me in initially. The food and the service continues to be great. I bring my family and friends here all the time. Even my ten year old enjoys it. It's our go to spot and I'm glad the quality of food and reasonable prices have remained consistent. I love the live music, as well. It's a gem in our town! read more

If you're looking for a great weekend brunch spot, look no further. Brunch is served until 3pm both Saturday and Sunday and the options are creative and amazingly delicious but that's just the start. They have live music, an amazing dining area both inside and outside, a customer base that are both cheerful and fun to be around, the service and staff is spectacular and the drinks are phenomenal. If you've never been to this hidden gem, you're missing out, if you have been a customer, you know what I'm talking about. Either way, Eclipse Di Luna at Halcyon is more than just a wonderful place to get a great meal and drink, it's where friendships are made and memories are created, not just for brunch but every day of the week. read more

My husband originally wanted to head down to Buckhead, because apparently that's where "the vibe" lives. But the second we walked into Eclipse, he immediately pivoted and admitted this place looked better inside and out. Victory tastes sweet... almost as sweet as the caramel drizzle on the tres leches cake. Let's talk about the atmosphere. There's a literal indoor tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant like we're dining in an enchanted Spanish forest. Add in the giant crystal chandelier dripping drama from the ceiling and you've got a space that says, "Yes, we're upscale... but we also know how to party." The live guitarist sealed the deal. Nothing says romantic tapas night like a man casually shredding a red guitar five feet from your table. Now the food. It came out fast. Suspiciously fast. "Did they know we were coming?" fast. And every single plate slapped. The crispy potatoes were seasoned like they had something to prove. The empanada was golden and flaky with that creamy dipping sauce that makes you consider licking the container when no one's looking. The short ribs were so tender they looked like they'd been emotionally supported before being served. Even the fried croquettes and goat cheese with carmelized onions and honey felt like they had main-character energy. And that cake. That glorious, whipped-topped, caramel-drizzled masterpiece. I would write it a thank-you note. The staff? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without forcing it. The kind of service that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. The only downside: it was the first warm day in a while, and the sun decided our table was the chosen one. Half of our bodies were enjoying ambient romance lighting. The other half was being interrogated by a solar laser beam. My pasty white legs were one direct ray away from combusting like Louis in Interview with a Vampire. I considered rotating every five minutes like a rotisserie chicken. Minor sun-induced trauma aside, this place is a solid five stars. Gorgeous interior. Live music. Fast, phenomenal food. Amazing staff. And the satisfaction of proving Buckhead is not the only place that can deliver a whole vibe. Pro tip: request a table out of the direct path of the sun unless you're actively trying to pregame summer. read more

we enjoyed our early dinner. The food was delicious. I ordered the spicy shrimp fondue. It was delicious.!!

My first dining experience. I am no stranger to tapas. This restaurant is a lovely indoor outdoor dining experience. We were sat by the giant tree. Lights everywhere. Beautiful chandeliers. It can be a little loud. Our server was hard to hear. That may have been just me. We tried at least 6-7 dishes. We were a party of 3. There was a live band w dancing too. Definitely put you in a samba mood. read more

I love a good tapas restaurant and was excited to finally have time to try this place. It was a Sunday and there were already quite a few filled tables. I'd recommend having a reservation if you go in the evening. The service was quick and the food was delicious. The bonus was when a music duo started to play. The decor is beautiful and the environment is welcoming for all types of groups. We saw several families with children there during our time. read more

Really good! Food was solid, drinks were good, and staff were really nice! We ordered the veggie paella, calamari, arugula apple salad, balsamic ribs. GET THE RIBS OMG!!! So good. The white peach sangria was also pretty good. I would say the downside (ik this is a tapas place) but some of the portions surprised me by how small it was for how much they were charging. In any case, still a nice date spot. The band was incredible and there's a lot of loud chatter going around so it feels very lively. Go to the parking deck for free parking (you wanna head straight, passing the Il Bottegone and then take a right and keep going until you see the parking deck. Don't be fooled by the other parking areas that charge. read more

We've been here a few times and the food and service is pretty consistently good. Some of our go-to's are the Patatas Bravas, Calamares Fritos, lamb chops (my personal fav!), empanadas, croquetas, and paella. The restaurant is so beautiful too. We typically end up sitting near the tree that's in the middle of the restaurant. It's a bit tight as far as seating with the tables so close to each other so you do need to be mindful for the servers trying to squeeze between tables when dropping off food. They're usually pretty quick to get things out despite how busy they typically are. It's definitely got a fun, young vibe with a cool cocktail menu to match. read more

What a fantastic experience! First the atmosphere is outstanding... it is a visual spectacular for sure. From the chandeliers to the trees to the bar area... it is all elegant and eye catching. When you walk in you know you're in a great place. We sat at the bar and honestly even the clientele was a notch up. Yeah this is a higher end spot... not stuffy or pretentious but just nice! It is good to be in a space where things are just a bit nicer. The service was spectacular... they were packed but we never seemed to have to wait long for anything. They had a couple NA beer options and made a killer mojito for my lady. Although the place was packed it wasn't super loud. Even with the live music going on. Don't get me wrong it was loud but not so bad that I could talk with my GF. We ordered a tapa (yes this is a tapas place)... FUNDIDO DE CAMARONES and it was "ohhhh my Goddie wayyyyy to Hottie!!" Highly recommend this... great cheese with lots of shrimp on crunchy bread that is all seasoned expertly! Our time here was magical. Seriously... this is a great place that I look forward to coming back to soon! read more

This place has a fun ambiance. The overall lighting is dim but candles adorn each table and there are large chandeliers hanging above. Theres also a tree at the center of the dining area, and lots of wood and muted colors, giving it a moody vibe. My boyfriend and I were both dining there for the first time and we were very satisfied. We started with the plantains and patatas bravas. I really preferred the potatoes. They were piping hot with a slightly spicy, crispy skin. Plantains were a bit too mushy for me and I actually think the honey made them too sweet. For my main I had the veggie paella. Even the single serving size is a generous portion. It had peas, squash, bell peppers, and I think lima beans. The flavor was nice, not over or under seasoned IMO. Surprise highlight of the night was the live music and dancing happening as we finished our dinner. A handful of people got up to follow along with the instructor, including us, and he taught us some moves. read more

Nice atmosphere! Carlos took great care of us. We loved the ribs and the shrimp fondue.

Saw this place while looking for a spot to eat for Mothers Day celebration. Location of this place is nice, and the inside is pretty and nice atmosphere. Food came out rather quick! We got plátanos Fritos, empanada de pollo, Mejillones, Picanha a la parrilla, fondue de camarones, Pulpo a la gallega. The Picanha really didn't taste like Picanha in my opinion and I've had plenty. Empanada de pollo was borderline warm and expected it to be piping hot. The pulpo was rather salty and some pieces burnt, although it was very tender! The mejillones and fondue were really good! My wife ordered the Paella Barcelonata and we were extremely disappointed with it. It was very fishy and shrimp in it were very small and chewy and overcooked. Our waiter was very helpful and kept checking up on us! Honestly won't be back. read more

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm welcome I received. The staff greeted me immediately, which made for a great first impression. I also loved that management allows the servers to wear costumes--such a fun way to get into the Halloween spirit and add a festive vibe to the experience. I arrived just in time for happy hour tapas ($5), and the atmosphere was perfect. The energy was lively but not overwhelming, and a center table was already waiting for me. I decided to treat myself to a few small bites and a drink, so I ordered Brussels sprouts, hummus, and a house margarita. Why not indulge a little? The Brussels sprouts were incredible! They had the perfect amount of char, and the flavors were spot-on, making them one of the highlights of my meal. Then came the hummus, which was a pleasant surprise. It was served warm, something I had never experienced before, and I absolutely loved it! The seasoning was just right, with none of that overpowering lemon flavor that can sometimes ruin a good hummus. As for the margarita, it was truly top-shelf. I couldn't quite pin down the exact flavors, but it was delicious and definitely didn't taste like a pre-made, store-bought mix. It was refreshing, balanced, and exactly what I needed to complete the experience. It had been a while since my last visit, but after this, I have plenty of reasons to come back again soon! #ashsaidit read more

Second time I have been here, since I live out of town, and it for sure is the best restaurant in the Halcyon Alpharetta complex. Love tapas anyway, but this place makes wonderful variations on that theme, coupled with a decent wine selection. Ambience is good as well, including a massive indoor decorative tree. I took a work colleague with me - he's a massive foodie / gourmet chef and had never been there. He raved about it as well. Our waiter was outstanding. Only complaint is that after the meal was done, they wouldn't carry my overstuffed arse to my Embassy Suites hotel room and tuck me in bed afterward - I guess service does have a limit. In the words of Ah-nuld, "I'll be back." read more

3.5 Stars To start I came for my birthday and didn't get so much as a cookie. Tables for two are entirely too small particularly when you're ordering multiple dishes. Asked to move to booth but that request was denied. Average service, the waitress was fine...nothing exceptional. The restaurant itself is beautiful with mostly great food. Highlight was definitely the Spanish Style Ribs. They were so incredibly tender and delicious with a balsamic brown sugar kind of flavor. Some of the best ribs I've ever had. Loved them. Stuffed avocado was definitely just ok. Nothing special at all. Mac and Cheese was good. Nothing special but delicious nonetheless. The stuffed dates were also great with a nice kick from the spicy sausage. I wish there had been a little more blue cheese because I love blue cheese but that's a minor complaint. All in all I'd definitely go back but I'd save it for a less special occasion. read more
