As a Vegan diner, I found the menu options to be very limited, yet the experience more than made up for it. A special thank you to the General Manager for personally offering to have the Sweet Corn & Tomato Risotto prepared Vegan for me. It was thoughtfully customized without the stracciatella or pesto oil & it was delicious. That level of hospitality & willingness to accommodate dietary preferences made a lasting impression. Cooper's Hawk offers a welcoming upscale-casual dining experience with excellent handcrafted wines, a dedicated tasting bar, a full-service bar, and a beautiful dining area that's perfect for wine enthusiasts. The Wine Club is an excellent value, with monthly wine selections, exclusive tastings, member perks, and rewards. The retail items mirrors a true winery gift shop, as well with the dessert section upon walking in. The layout creates a true wine country experience that's perfect for both wine enthusiasts and first-time visitors. My only suggestion is to expand the Vegan and Vegetarian offerings. Plant-based & non-meat diners appreciate great wine too & more thoughtfully crafted options would make an already great experience even better. I've eaten at a lot of restaurants, and this is the first time my child has ever been served raw chicken. Not undercooked (see for yourself in the pictures EDIT the pictures keep getting removed and I don't know why) completely raw in the middle. We are praying it does not make her seriously sick. This was supposed to be a nice dinner with just the two of us. Instead, the restaurant's response was simply to remove the chicken from the bill and move on as if serving raw poultry to a child was no big deal. That is completely unacceptable. Between the disappointment from looking forward to having a fun night out and the anxiety from biting into the chicken, the night ended in tears. I feel awful for her and there is no one to blame other than Cooper's Hawk. The was a SERIOUS food safety failure. I'll be filing a complaint with the health department as I documented this thoroughly before we left. We will never be back to Cooper's Hawk. read more

Mocktails! I went here for a light and quick lunch because living in Chicago in the past Cooper Hawks was one of my fav go tos. I was delighted the ambiance was the same and this GA location was a little better to be honest. I loved the winery tour stop experience when you was in the door. However you can almost miss the deserts but it seems like they were strategic and put them in eye view as you walk out. lol Otherwise the food was great! Of course I'll be back. We went on a busy Sunday evening- Father's Day. So it may not have been the best time to first visit this location. The staff seemed rushed and there was a fairly long wait to get seated (we had reservations). Other than that. The building is newish with a very calming and updated decor. This place exceeded my expectation's!! My niece is the first person that told me about Cooper's Hawk. She did the wine tasting at the Tampa location and raved about it. I then chatted with friends in the Maryland and Chicago area who confirmed that the hype is real! This location opened February of 2025 and I finally made my way to check it out. The location is about 30 minutes from me so it's not necessity in my neck of the woods. A friend said she would drive so I was game to check it out! The restaurant is located in the same plaza as Studio movie grill. There is ample parking around the restaurant, When you walk in you are in the tasting area of the establishment. You have to walk through the tasting area to get to the host stand. We were able to make reservations online so we were seated within a few minutes of arrival, Our server Emma was top Tier!! She deserves a raise, that's how good she was! She told us all about the wine as well as went over the menu and the specials. She is extremely knowledgeable about the wine and the food and was able to provide solid suggestions and feedback. We were able to sample a few wines. I really enjoyed the Vin chocolat Noir wine ( it's not as sweet as it sounds) and the raspberry peach sangria ( I went home with a bottle of this). Note: I do not typically consume alcohol but figured since I was at a spot known for wine I had to give it a try. If you love wine , you will love this place ! The food was done well! According to the about section of the website " Each dish is made fresh in our scratch kitchen, incorporating peak-of-season ingredients, and listed with a bin number to guide you to your selection's perfect wine match." I've been watching this chain popping up all over the country on Yelp and thought it was time to give them a try. A very cool, open and up beat vibe with a modern decor. They boast an "Everything made from scratch" menu and they aren't kidding. Delicious apps and amazing entrées all up and down the menu. Per our server we decided on a nice red (Vin Velouté). So good I actually purchased a few bottle to take home. For starters the Crab-shrimp and lobster Bisque was just amazing. So creamy smooth and delicious. And the Gnocchi carbonara was just amazing, with that pancetta, chicken, sage, peas and parmesan garlic in a cream sauce. Just wow. Another hit of the table was the Ellie's Chicken Piccata. Tender chicken in a Lemon Butter and caper Sauce with Capellini Pasta and asparagus. Impeccable service and an impressive and smooth flavorful wine list makes this a must return visit. Discovered this spot during my last work trip and it's was such a happy accident. The restaurant is large and nicely decorated. There is a separate tasting room where people can enjoy wine sampling. I was dining solo so I grabbed a seat at the bar. The staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered a glass of their Sauvignon Blanc which I enjoyed however what earned this establishment the 5 stars for me was the country rigatoni. It was absolutely delicious! I originally tried Coopers Hawk Mother's Day 2025 and the power went out all we got to eat was a salad and bread. I knew then it was amazing. I FINALLY got a chance to go back and it did not disappoint. The wine is so good. My friend and I did a wine tasting. It was my first one but my friend is a member. She said it's amazing every-time she goes. I loved every wine we tasted. We also had happy hour food at the bar along with a few drinks. The lemon drop was so tasty. We also had the barbacoa quesadilla. The quesadilla had a cheese crust on the outside with the Chipotle sauce. Everything was just fantastic. I can't wait to go back. Passion Fruit Wine -- it was okay to me, but nothing I would personally order again. Take my opinion with a grain of salt though because I'm not really a wine drinker. Baked Parmesan Shrimp Scampi -- this was good. I actually asked for a side of the drunken shrimp garlic cream sauce to put on top because I preferred that sauce more than the one it came with. The original sauce wasn't bad at all, I just liked the other one better. The Leonard Burger -- really good too. Overall, I'll definitely be back, especially to try the wine tasting. I believe it's 5 tastings for $12. The server also recommended joining the wine club because they have a special going on with 2 bottles next month... Overall great experience! I hadn't been to a Cooper's Hawk since living in Kansas City years ago so it was great knowing that the service and quality of food still holds up. I started with the white wine flight and ate from their happy hour menu. The smashed sliders were excellent. So good and just enough food. I didn't care for the sauce they were served with though. The show stopper of this meal was the Three Cheese & Italian Sausage Arancini. The marinara was delicious, the sausage and cheese stuffing inside of the balls was excellent. They were soft and delicious and there were five of them! I couldn't get enough and definitely want to try this the next time I go to this restaurant. I did the variety tasting but they did have sweet and premium like tasting options. All under $20. Great for a group, date or solo outing. Restaurant is very nice lots of good options to choose from. There were some mix ups with orders but we give grace as the party was large, it was a holiday so staff was limited but kudos to the young lady tending to our large party and her entire section. Parking Parking is in a strip mall, parking is plentiful. Restaurant Upon entering the restaurant you walk right into the wine tasting room. They have a plethora of their own wines. They also sell wine glasses, decanters, etc. We were hungry so we went straight to the hostess stand. We were seated immediately and our server Corey immediately walked up to the table. Corey is very knowledgeable about the wines and food. I ordered the following: Leonard Burger, Asian slaw the spa non-alcoholic drink. My spouse ordered the surf and turf with strip steak and shrimp. My spouse wanted the strip steak medium but it was served well done. Corey was very accommodating and stated he would have another steak prepared. Corey was amazing. My spouse stated she would keep the steak she had. A few minutes later a manager came to the table and apologized and stated a dessert would be on the house. Overall we enjoyed all the food. My burger was noises and cooked perfectly. Even house my spouses steak was cooked well done it was still tender. We will definitely return and stop for wine tasting. This was kind of a shitshow. Drinks took forever to arrive. Our waiter was very sweet and I do not really blame him, but he forgot a few things and brought my friend the completely wrong dish (and when it did arrive there was a piece of plastic in it, though they wound up comping the dish) so we all waited while she got the correct one and our food slowly went cold. The interior is beautiful and the wine selection is impressive, although the overall experience did not live up to what I was expecting. We really enjoyed our experience at Cooper's Hawk! Brandi, our server, was excellent--definitely ask for her if you visit. She was attentive, offered great suggestions, and kept it real the entire time. For brunch, we had the Brisket Hash. The flavors were amazing and the brisket was incredibly tender. It would've been perfect if it had been served a bit hotter, as it may have been sitting for a moment. The pork chop lunch portion was also outstanding. I haven't had a pork chop in years, but this one was boneless, tender, juicy, and served over delicious pieces of candied bacon. They were out of potatoes, so I chose the broccolini, which paired well. The jambalaya was surprisingly good too--served with a scoop of jasmine rice surrounded by the jambalaya. I would absolutely order either of those dishes again. And of course, we loved the complimentary pretzel bread that comes out before the meal! We also did a wine tasting. I can't remember the name of our server, but she had a short brown curly fro and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wines. First we started out with the wine tasting. I haven't picked up my bottle of wines in a few months, so I had 12 bottles to pick up. :-) Then, we decided to dine in. I had the shrimp scampi with extra shrimp and my husband had shrimp and scallops. The food was decent, but not the best from what we are used to when eating at Cooper's Hawk. The employees are friendly and the manager stopped by our table to make sure all was well. That's a plus, because we have never had that experience at any Cooper's Hawk in the past. :-) But, we will definitely be back soon. This is not my 1st time visiting this location, but it might be my last. Unfortunately , this is not a good follow-up experience at all. I made a reservation for 3 to celebrate our friends birthday. I recommended this restaurant due to me having a previous membership in Tampa, Florida, and my 1st time here was such a great experience when they 1st opened. We arrived for our reservation, and we were seated and waited a while for our server to show. We selected an appetizer and also chose our meals. Our drinks were abroad and some bread.But after that, our server disappeared.When we finally saw her again , we inquired about our appetizer because it had been such a long time. When she went to get the appetizer , all of the food came at the same time. We had been sitting with no drink.Refills , no appetizer , no check-ins or anything.It was if we weren't there. Our appetizer wasn't fresh but on the cold salty side. It was a huge disappointment, to say the least.I live 58 minutes away, and I was really looking forward to an AMAZING EXPERIENCE, but I was highly disappointed this evening.What a disappointment and embarrassment. I regretted bringing my party here. I was anticipating one thing but unfortunately received something very different. This is an interesting place that has something on the menu for everyone. We went as a party of 4 and the started with drinks. The cocktails were fine - i figured when in Rome and I had a pb&j old fashioned. As a bourbon fan I should have known it would be entirely too sweet for my liking and was paired with a wine that tased like Welch's grape juice. We had a couple of appetizers and 3 entrees between us - it was all pretty good. Nothing spectacular but solid. The menu provides matching wine selections for each food item which is interesting and helpful. The place itself is quite large with many different rooms. There are a lot of tables which means a lot of noise. Combined with the large tables that had the four of us quite a distance from one another and we couldn't hear much to have a real conversation. I visited Cooper's Hawk with some girlfriends for lunch today. We missed brunch by an hour and were greeted by the host and seat in an area towards the patio. The restaurant was spacious with a wine bar in the front and was very lively. The menu offered lots of variety. I enjoyed a spiked chai drink and a cheeseburger. Wow--what a hidden gem in Alpharetta! The interior of this restaurant is absolutely stunning and impressively spacious. When you walk in, there's a tasting room to greet you, followed by a lively bar area and a massive dining room. They feature a scratch kitchen and offer one of the most extensive gluten-free menus I've ever seen. I ordered the gluten-free gnocchi alla vodka, and it was phenomenal. They even provide complimentary gluten-free bread, which is a rare and thoughtful touch. The only drawback--and the reason I'm not giving a full five stars--is the wait time for drinks and service provided by the waiter. Unfortunately, this wasn't a one-off experience; both times I've visited, my cocktail took nearly 20 minutes to arrive, coming out just moments before the food. It's not ideal having to follow up with the server about a drink, and it made things a bit uncomfortable. Our waiter didn't really check on us, but it could be because it was a pretty busy night for a Tuesday. So maybe they had short staff. I had a blast at the Cooper's Hawk in Chicago and decided that I had to try the one in Atlanta. I am glad that I did come. This place has a gigantic parking lot and is in front of a movie theater. Place looks clean and brand new. The have a ton of wine tastings here. You should set reservations or come during the off hours. I sat at the bar and got some of the best service. The AC is blowing directly on the bar so that was annoying. I tried the strawberry lemonade, pretzel bread, churasco steak, pistachio crusted grouper, mashed potatoes, and grilled vegetables. Lemonade tasted like it had some tea mixed in. Tasted great still. The pretzel bread is average but helps with cravings. The steak, fish, and sides are amazing. I want to come back. read more

Girls day out! I like the concept. We had brunch and the services was excellent. The problem came with the tasting part. They only had one person behind the bar doing the tastings. You get two glasses to taste 8 wines. The problem with that is they don't rinse the glasses after each tastings so you taste the other wine with the new wine. The other problem is that they only had one person behind the bar so we had to wait a long time in between tastings. I mentioned that to a manager but she did nothing. I really enjoyed this place! First the wine tasting. I believe it includes 8 wines and even though they have a curated wine menu, all their wines are on the back and you can switch it up if you want. & their wines are good! They give you a nice size pouring of each one, so you'll definitely feel it a little bit. You can also mark the ones you want & purchase at the end. The only "issue" I would have is that the wine tasting is standing the entire time, but that's probably a good idea so people don't get too drunk. I can appreciate a dish that tastes just as good as it looks. The drunken shrimp & the ahi tuna sashimi were my favorites by far. The sauce with the sashimi really set it off. I almost ordered another one, it was that good. For entrees, we had the brisket hash, shrimp & scallop risotto, & the gnocchi carbonara. The brisket hash was real good, just wish there was more of the brisket in it. The risotto was great, although it didn't eat like a risotto. It didn't have the creamy, essence that risotto has & the rice was just a hair undercooked, but it still checked off the yum box. Maybe they could call it something else, but either way I'd absolutely get it next time. The only reason they're getting 4 stars & not 5 is because the gnocchi carbonara wasn't good.
