    Wine tasting

Visited for a quick girls trip with wine tasting & great dinner. Wine tasting staff and dining staff were very attentive and excited to make our experience wonderful. The ambience is beautiful and inviting. Most certainly looking forward to our next visit. Our Bruschetta really hit the spot after all the wine. I also ordered the Parmesan crusted Mahi Mahi, it was overcooked but still enjoyable

Really cute restaurant. I found the service to be very good and they also have a wine club. They have a happy hour as well and we ordered a few items off it. I found tbe wine to be tasty- I tried a few reds and enjoyed them. Overall, good experience in a beautiful atmosphere. I would definitely return here for dinner.

Overall great experience! I hadn't been to a Cooper's Hawk since living in Kansas City years ago so it was great knowing that the service and quality of food still holds up. I started with the white wine flight and ate from their happy hour menu. The smashed sliders were excellent. So good and just enough food. I didn't care for the sauce they were served with though. The show stopper of this meal was the Three Cheese & Italian Sausage Arancini. The marinara was delicious, the sausage and cheese stuffing inside of the balls was excellent. They were soft and delicious and there were five of them! I couldn't get enough and definitely want to try this the next time I go to this restaurant. The crispy tempura shrimp was pretty good as well. My waiter was nice and attentive. No complaints.

The wine tasting was great. Nice variety of wines. Mat was a great host for our large party. Very knowledgeable about the wines. I did the variety tasting but they did have sweet and premium like tasting options. All under $20. Great for a group, date or solo outing. Restaurant is very nice lots of good options to choose from. There were some mix ups with orders but we give grace as the party was large, it was a holiday so staff was limited but kudos to the young lady tending to our large party and her entire section. That was a lot to take on and I think she did a great job given the circumstances. A few did order wines and joined the club. Overall a really nice experience.

definitely an experience! It's been on my list since they opened, finally made the drive with my friend for happy hour. Everything was 5 stars Food : Amazing Spirits: Flowing Wine: Amazing Service: Great we stayed on a happy hour menu with a wine tasting. Everything was great. it was a Tuesday night but this place was packed. Somehow the server still made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant! Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this place! First the wine tasting. I believe it includes 8 wines and even though they have a curated wine menu, all their wines are on the back and you can switch it up if you want. & their wines are good! They give you a nice size pouring of each one, so you'll definitely feel it a little bit. You can also mark the ones you want & purchase at the end. The only "issue" I would have is that the wine tasting is standing the entire time, but that's probably a good idea so people don't get too drunk. It's set up like a bar with no seating, but it does get crowded before you know it. I thoroughly enjoyed the tasting & I enjoyed the food just as much. Both the plating & the flavors delivered. I can appreciate a dish that tastes just as good as it looks. The drunken shrimp & the ahi tuna sashimi were my favorites by far. The sauce with the sashimi really set it off. I almost ordered another one, it was that good. For entrees, we had the brisket hash, shrimp & scallop risotto, & the gnocchi carbonara. The brisket hash was real good, just wish there was more of the brisket in it. The risotto was great, although it didn't eat like a risotto. It didn't have the creamy, essence that risotto has & the rice was just a hair undercooked, but it still checked off the yum box. Maybe they could call it something else, but either way I'd absolutely get it next time. The only reason they're getting 4 stars & not 5 is because the gnocchi carbonara wasn't good. The gnocchi was super undercooked and had no flavor. Overall though, everything was great & I can't wait to go back!

Overall I always have a good time here. The entire experience is usually good. I recommend making a reservation but come at least an hour or two earlier to do the wine tasting. I have tried brunch and it was just ok. I think the menu still needs some work.

This was kind of a shitshow. Drinks took forever to arrive. Our waiter was very sweet and I do not really blame him, but he forgot a few things and brought my friend the completely wrong dish (and when it did arrive there was a piece of plastic in it, though they wound up comping the dish) so we all waited while she got the correct one and our food slowly went cold. The interior is beautiful and the wine selection is impressive, although the overall experience did not live up to what I was expecting. Most of the rest of my party seemed to enjoy their food well enough. Prices are fair for what it is. My gnocchi and eggs was delicious and the brunch menu has a solid range of options. I would come back for wine and maybe try dinner, but brunch felt a little chaotic this time around.

We really enjoyed our experience at Cooper's Hawk! Brandi, our server, was excellent--definitely ask for her if you visit. She was attentive, offered great suggestions, and kept it real the entire time. For brunch, we had the Brisket Hash. The flavors were amazing and the brisket was incredibly tender. It would've been perfect if it had been served a bit hotter, as it may have been sitting for a moment. The pork chop lunch portion was also outstanding. I haven't had a pork chop in years, but this one was boneless, tender, juicy, and served over delicious pieces of candied bacon. They were out of potatoes, so I chose the broccolini, which paired well. The jambalaya was surprisingly good too--served with a scoop of jasmine rice surrounded by the jambalaya. I would absolutely order either of those dishes again. And of course, we loved the complimentary pretzel bread that comes out before the meal! We also did a wine tasting. I can't remember the name of our server, but she had a short brown curly fro and was incredibly knowledgeable about all the wines. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return!

Girls day out! I like the concept. We had brunch and the services was excellent. The problem came with the tasting part. They only had one person behind the bar doing the tastings. You get two glasses to taste 8 wines. The problem with that is they don't rinse the glasses after each tastings so you taste the other wine with the new wine. The other problem is that they only had one person behind the bar so we had to wait a long time in between tastings. I mentioned that to a manager but she did nothing. Gio was amazing considering he didn't have help. I will come again because I like the experience and the atmosphere but do better for what people are paying. The food was good!

I visited Cooper's Hawk with some girlfriends for lunch today. We missed brunch by an hour and were greeted by the host and seat in an area towards the patio. The restaurant was spacious with a wine bar in the front and was very lively. The menu offered lots of variety. I enjoyed a spiked chai drink and a cheeseburger. Everything was hot and fresh snd our server was very friendly and made some great suggestions.

First time here let me tell you something. The restaurant is beautiful and people are super knowledgeable about the wines I can go on and on. I had the brisket flatbread super delicious and the bolognese. Super delicious. I also got wine for my hubby . Everyone loved the food good price and portions are huge.

Isidra was our waitress and she was attentive and extremely pleasant. I love this atmosphere at this Cooper's Hawk. This was me and my husband's first time at this location. First we started out with the wine tasting. I haven't picked up my bottle of wines in a few months, so I had 12 bottles to pick up. :-) Then, we decided to dine in. I had the shrimp scampi with extra shrimp and my husband had shrimp and scallops. The food was decent, but not the best from what we are used to when eating at Cooper's Hawk. The employees are friendly and the manager stopped by our table to make sure all was well. That's a plus, because we have never had that experience at any Cooper's Hawk in the past. :-) But, we will definitely be back soon. Not to done in, but to purchase wine and pick up wine for the month. :-)

Oh what a wonderful surprise and experience it was........So let's just say that I was very stunned to learn that there were so many wineries in the state of Georgia. This is how my journey unfolded on this beautiful day; I will start with Tom Ward the owner....Mr. Wine Connoisseur himselfJ Very knowledgeable and full of wisdom beyond his years. There wasn't a question that I asked or wanted to learn about wines that Tom wasn't able to provide me with an answer for. Tom was friendly, kind, attentive and very accommodating. Once we got on the tour bus, filled with snacks, water, wine and movies I was like a kid on her way to her very first field trip. We made a stop at one of his pickup locations to pick up two additional lovely ladies. We stopped and had a celebratory toast to begin our wine adventure; it was amazing. From there, we drove to the first winery "Wolf Mountain Vineyard". It was cozy, beautiful, with great ambiance. We had a quick bite (very delicious) and of course several rounds of wine tasting. Then we were off again to our 2nd winery "Serenity Cellars". This in itself was an amazing experience. The staff was remarkable; there was a wide selection of wines red and white. I am normally a sweet wine drinker, but this definitely gave me an opportunity to expand my palate and gave me a better appreciation for different wines. Of course, I could not forget the beautiful young lady that serenaded us with her lovely voice. Lastly, our 3rd winery "Kaya Vineyard & Winery". This winery was a little bit more upbeat, much younger crowd, not as quaint as the other wineries but nonetheless still good. There wines were ok but didn't knock me off my feet. Yes, I still drank it.....all of it lol. The view was amazing, one of the most beautiful rainbows I have ever seen. It was just my luck because then the second rainbow came out; first time ever seeing a double rainbow. So I said all this to say, no matter your level of expertise with wines this is the tour for you. There is something for everyone. I bought several bottles of wine and have been enjoying some and put the rest up for another time. I am a light weight so on the way home I slept like a baby while everyone else enjoyed a great documentary on wines. I am actually looking forward to doing this tour again. Maybe in the Spring or the Summer. One of my best tours ever!!!!! I applaud the level of excellence received at ATL Vineyard Express.

They are located on Canton in downtown Roswell. Look for the green house on the right a little past SALT on your left. I've been frequenting OV for the past 13 years. Originally, I shopped at their Vinings Jubilee location until the close and since then I've been shopping at this Roswell location. ++ Ambiance is a warm, intimately organized high end EVOO, fine balsamics and epicurean market. It's a gourmet cooks', especially Italian food lovers' dream food shop. +++ High quality variety of northern and southern hemisphere EVOOs and aged 18 years balsamics from domestic and global sources. OV's balsamics are CLEAN, made in the traditional solera style with no extras. They offer many fine infusions that are pretty much drinkable. My favorites are their Mediterranean blend and Cobrancosa EVOOs, grapefruit white balsamic and espresso dark balsamic that is absolutely incredible on vanilla ice cream. Their grapefruit white balsamic is delectable on salads. You can taste all the vinegars and EVOOs with tiny plastic cups so it's easy to figure out what you like. Beyond the oils and vinegars, they have a good size market. Much is from Italy such as fine dish towels and specialty pastas. More over, they sell silver and gold pour caps, hand blended seasonings, accessory dishes, jams etc. They also sell local artisan foods such as Mission sourdough breads and Voga gelati. On this visit, I brought a friend who recently moved to Atlanta and is needing to stock essentials for his pantry. He scored many oils, vinegars, pastas, pour caps and gifts. I discovered their white truffle infused oil and couldn't part without taking a large bottle home. It's my first white truffle infused oil I've liked enough to buy. It's made withOUT any extracts and is a smooooooth yet intense white truffle flavored EVOO. I've already got a recipe in mind for this finishing oil :). My friend also got a bottle as well. Oli + Ve is one of my favorite places for hostess gifts and for holidays. +++ Service is friendly and helpful. The owner is often present and is warm and informative. She has an amazing attention to detail and I think even Martha would have a difficulty finding faults. For example, they sell candles but each sample has a glass cover so they wouldn't overwhelm your sense of smell for customers who aren't interested in them or comingle scents for those who are interested. Since the closing of their Vinings location, they offer free deliveries to The Front Porch Market (Mountain St.) if you order online. = / + Price is high...though it's in line with high end gourmet food shops. + Parking is a designated spot / driveway in a private lot. Although the setting is admittedly spectacular, acres of hilly vineyards with views of the mountain behind, and the patio was certainly fancy, the tables each with fire pits in the center providing cheery warmth, the tasting experience itself was sub-par and overpriced. It lacked the authentic feel I've seen in other wineries and seems more of a tourist destination. First thing I noticed is the shockingly high tasting fee of $35 for a flight of 4 2-ounce pours of their choice. No substitutions allowed! Either these are some spectacularly great wines or this is a major rip-off. I passed. But since I was here I decided to have a glass. I got one of their estate-grown Cabernet Sauvignon. It was around $16 but since I was here. It was good, but certainly not worth the $48 they charge for a bottle. For the $35 do you get individual attention, descriptions from the bartender about the wines and about their winery? No. You get 4 labeled glasses to take back to your table. Not worth it. Find another place less touristy, more authentic. That shouldn't be hard. There are like 65 wineries in the area!
