Wow! I've always passed this restaurant driving down Roswell Road and never thought to stop and get a bite. However, a friend of mine treated me to dinner last night at this restaurant. As soon as we started walking up, I noticed how beautiful the ambiance of the enclosed outdoor patio and the interior was. Such a great vibe in there and wait staff/ Hostess everybody was super friendly! We were seated at our table which already had toasted bread with olives and a olive relish. I had the escargot which was incredible! And then followed it up with trout for dinner. It was delicious and the portions are huge! I could not finish my entree. For dessert, I had the chocolate mousse which was to die for! I would highly recommend this restaurant any day and I will return especially when my guests come from out of town. So happy my friend turned me on to this gem!

Lovely dinner with the family. We came here on a Monday night and so the restaurant was not quite as busy as the weekend, when we were turned away. The service is excellent. We had a bottle of red from Cot Du Rhône which was excellent. I had to start with escargo for the appetizer which were wonderful, then had the seafood linguine, and finished with crème brûlée which was divine. The owner came by to speak to us a few times and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to come again.

La Petite Maison is a cute little French restaurant located in Sandy Springs. They have indoor and outdoor seating along with a small bar. We had reservations for 8pm and although 5 minutes early, the table was not ready for us. Once we were ready to be seated, one of the servers motioned us to the table and we sat ourselves. Ok. After that, the assistant server brought us water, bread, and olives but we weren't greeted by our actual waiter until 20 minutes after being seated. Needless to say, the service is painfully slow and disorganized so make sure you enjoy the company you are with as dinner will be a 2 hour process from start to finish. Luckily, we had a good time despite the service mishaps. We started with the beef carpaccio appetizer and it was delicious. For my entree, I had the Coquilles St. Jacques Monaco, which is scallops with rice and spinach. My date enjoyed the filet mignon with vegetables. Both were very tasty but presentation was a bit lacking. The presentation of the dessert however, is a whole other story. We shared the Tarte Tatin and Tiramisu. Presentation was beautiful and the apple tarte was especially delicious, served with ice cream, caramel, creme fresh, and sour cream.

I've been hearing so much about this place, that I had to try it. My son and I stopped here for lunch one day. I've been sooo looking forward to having some escargots. they were a tad tasteless. Even though they had the right amount of garlic and parsley you didn't taste them. The bread was dry and kind of old . The warm goat cheese salad was very good, but again the bread was stale and dry. The ladies were super nice. I'm just so sad and disappointed because I was so hopeful.

Two beauties preparing to enjoy their meal-- one "Miss Maid of Cotton, the other, "Miss Pelham".

If you are in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta I believe you will enjoy dining at La Petite Madison. I recommend this establishment for dining rather than just eating. Great ambiance, excellent service, wonderful preparation and presentation and a great libration selection. Go. I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Service was slow and it took close to 25 minutes to get our order! Onion soup was not bursting with flavor the best part was the cheese melted on top on top of a thin slice of bread. I have definitely had better! Our server kept forgetting things: our drinks, refills on water our order: Who wanted the strip steak medium rare and who wantefof them rare etc. or small things like lemon for our water or tea etc. Food was tasty but not plentiful strip steak was less than a fourth of an inch thick possibly 6 ounces. Presentation was much to be desired! As in the other reviews I read profiterole's were the best

A group of 12 foodie friends enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Le Petite Maison. Most of us chose the 3 course Prix Fixe menu. Service was outstanding. The owner explained everything and took care of use. Meals came out promptly. Wine, drinks, dessert wonderful. The owner even ran out to the parking lot and offered to pull of my car due to rain. 5 Stars all around!!

Michelin Star Little Sparrow is one of those restaurants I look forward to whenever I'm back in…read moreAtlanta. It captures that wonderful Parisian brasserie feeling without trying too hard--the banquettes, heavy drapes, soft lighting, beautiful tableware and attentive service. Everything feels considered. And then there's the food. The menu is small, the prices are not, but they execute what they do exceptionally well. I was tucked into a beautiful banquette and taken care of by Keenan, who was lovely throughout dinner--warm, polished, knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. First things first: do not skip the bread service. The warm levain baguette arrives wrapped in Little Sparrow-branded paper with their gorgeous butter, EVOO and Maldon salt. It sounds simple. It isn't. That butter sitting in fragrant olive oil with those little pops of sea salt, smeared onto hot, crusty bread? Heaven. Sometimes the simplest things tell you everything you need to know about a kitchen. My usual order here is the chicken schnitzel, which I love, but I promised myself I would branch out. I ordered the Cabillaud Frites--cod with tartar sauce--and Little Sparrow's interpretation of fish and chips is anything but ordinary. The cod arrived as beautifully fried little rounds with a deeply golden, crisp exterior and tender, delicate fish inside. Hot, crunchy, moist, perfectly cooked. The house tartar sauce was delicious. And because apparently I needed more decadence, Keenan brought me garlic aioli for the frites. Yes, please. And those frites. Lordy. Crisp, deeply savory and dangerously easy to keep eating long after you've told yourself you're finished. Dip one into that garlic aioli and good luck stopping. I skipped cocktails this time because I was saving precious real estate for dessert. I usually order the chocolate soufflé, although I continue to wish they would rotate the soufflé flavors. Give me Grand Marnier! And at $22, that soufflé is definitely an investment in dessert theater. Instead, I took the coconut cake back to my hotel. Unfortunately, this was the one miss of the evening. It was overwhelmingly sweet and lacked the richness and complexity I expected from a kitchen operating at this level. It tasted surprisingly ordinary compared with everything that preceded it. I'd skip it next time and return to the soufflé. That small disappointment doesn't change how I feel about Little Sparrow. The dining room is beautiful. The service feels polished and gracious. Even the restrooms and little sitting area carry through the aesthetic. There is an attention to detail here that I appreciate--from the china and menus to the lighting and presentation. Little Sparrow isn't inexpensive, but I don't come here looking for inexpensive. I come because they take seemingly familiar French dishes, focus on technique and ingredients, and make them memorable. If you're anywhere near Atlanta's Westside or the Design District--or frankly, even if you're not--make the detour. Make a reservation, settle into a banquette, order the bread, and get some of that food in your face. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal.

The mussels are always fresh, although their size can vary, sometimes they're large, and other times they're quite small. They used to allow parking in the back, but now it's valet or street parking only. The valet service is complimentary, you just tip the valet attendant, and they accept Venmo. My boyfriend enjoys their beer selection. I've had consistently good experiences with the food menu, but I find the mocktails to be just average. They tend to be more fizzy and soda-like than flavorful. I imagine their cocktails and wine are probably a better choice. They used to have complimentary bread. Now the bread is a menu item. The outdoor seating is very nice, although it can get a little hot during the summer. They have both ceiling fans and standing fans to help keep things comfortable. The only downside is the number of flies. We constantly had to wave them away from our food. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The only minor issue happened at the end of our meal. We ordered a large dessert and asked if they happened to have chocolate ice cream. The server said he would check with the kitchen. However, before coming back to confirm, he brought us the chocolate ice cream as if we had already ordered it. Since it was already served, we didn't feel comfortable sending it back, and ice cream isn't exactly something you can take home. We ended up eating it even though we were already very full. Aside from that small misunderstanding, we had a great experience. The food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, and it's a restaurant I would definitely recommend.

I'm going to be real: The French onion soup was better than the one I had in Paris. It's cheesier and the broth was creamier and thicker. The wife doesn't love onions and I'm not a French Onion soup guy, but we couldn't stop eating this. The only thing I missed from Paris was the crunchy baguette. The coq au vin was excellent. The wife expected dry chicken breast with a tart wine sauce. The chicken fell off the bone and the mushrooms soaked up the delectable sauce. I had the steak and fries because I got the dinner special on the side of the menu. The steak was cooked a little less than my usual medium rare but that's ok. The butter sauce I got with it was good but not mind blowing. I wanted to immediately pass out after eating because the food is heavy. Service was great and noise levels were a little on the loud side. This fancy but not too fancy. Parking is $2 with valet - tip. Maybe just me though: I hate valet parking. Would I come here again? Little trick is that if you decide to use the valet in the little square area, they will validate your parking. However, since it is located in Buckhead Village parking can be a challenge at times, however very cheap at two dollars an hour. This is significantly cheaper to downtown Chicago or any other section of Chicago equivalent to Buckhead Village where it is over $14 an hour on the street parking. Anyhow, let me say that Pedro our server was fantastic. He is so full of personality and courtesy and super patient with us. I've read many reviews to talk about slow service and I have to say it is not slow service. It is simply them telling you that they are not rushing you through a meal that is to be enjoyed in an amazing ambience. And they let you move at your pace, which is fantastic. However ... five of us made a reservation, for 5:30, our plan was to eat a celebratory birthday dinner ( two birthdays) then catch the sunset on the roof. We should've known there would be issues from the drink order: A vodka tonic order yielded a vodka soda even after she confirmed he wanted tonic, not soda. The other drinks came out at different times. We ordered bread and our salads and entrees. Then the server brought out a plate of deviled eggs " a gift from the chef!" How nice. They were good, we appreciated it. Our entrees were OK: Short ribs were rich and meaty, redfish was good but a bit overcooked and dried out, pork was OK, mussels were good, but the bread wasn't grillled and was slathered with almost inedibly salty garlic butter. The salads were meh. We had wine and water and asked for our checks so we could make sunset. She brought back one check for two couples and a single. We asked if she could split it. She came back a few minutes later, after we sent the birthday folks to the roof for sunset, she said we could "just throw a card down" for the combined check. We reminded her that we wanted to split the check. She completely forgot. Several minutes later, we go our checks. Those deviled eggs that were supposed to be a "a gift from the chef?" They were on one of the checks. Thanks so much for the gift. Anyway, we quickly paid and made it upstairs before the sun was below the horizon. The roof is awesome. But Tiny Lou's is a one and done. Not worth the price. Not special. Would rather just eat at home post-sunset.
