Not impressed with this spot. Went there for lunch with four peeps and even though we were the only ones in the place, it took a really long time for our food to come (two sandwiches, one bowl of soup and a burger). We also ordered two appetizers: Malaysian Shrimp and pumpkin Ravioli. The shrimp was delicious, but the ravioli did not taste good at all. We ended up leaving half of it on the plate. Note: even though it did not get eaten, we were never asked about it or offered something else in exchange. One of our party ordered a specific salad with added chicken and the waitress came back to tell him that he had a old menu and that the item he wanted is no longer available. Really?? An old menu - why have they not been destroyed?? I ordered my burger without the bun and it came without any of the sauce listed in the menu. When I asked for it, the waitress acted like I was asking for something unusual. Even though the atmosphere is very nice, and it is quiet if you want to have a conversation, I will not be returning here for lunch.

Here's the menu as of Jan 2017 - gives you a good idea of the prices

Overall, I'd say that it was pretty good! My biggest issue is the price -yikes! I didn't really feel like the food was all that special for how much was charged. But onto the food reviews: I ordered the French onion soup ($10 - lol you're kidding right?) Nope, not kidding. It tasted great! I just wish the price came down a bit. There was not anything special about this for a cup of it to be ten bucks! For my main entree, I got the Tuna Poke. The portion was VERY small, but it was packed with flavor and felt like a pretty healthy alternative to some of the other choices on the menu! Dessert was excellent! Not a single complaint here! I enjoyed the Vanilla Bean Creme Brûlée. Yummmm! It even had little fresh berries on top. So good! Overall, I probably won't be back because I don't want to pay that much again, but the food tasted nice!

I love Portico! I come often, even just for a glass of prosecco since I live close. Food is great, service is outstanding, and overall a great place. I was just there meeting a friend this past Saturday (and PS- parking is free) , and orderd shrimp and grits. I mean, OMG! Fantastic! I never take food photos but I had to, it was so good! Definetly will be back soon!

The food was very excellent. I enjoyed a variety of appetizers. The fresh fruit was also great. The service came with a smile which is always a plus. The waiter was very attentive. He had a sincere sense of urgency to ensure that the food was satisfying. I will keep returning. Alejandro is a great Chef who takes pride in his work. I truly liked his tacos. He is customer friendly. Alejandro takes feedback from everyone and is open to suggestions. This restaurant is hidden gem within Le Meridian in the Perimeter Mall Area.

This is my first time staying at this hotel and I can absolutely say it's one of the better stays I've had at hotel and I travel a lot! The vegetarian vegetable curry soup at the Portico restaurant is outstanding!

    The ravioli is amazing!

The food is delicious, the staff very friendly, and the scotch selection very ample for a nice hotel. Try the ravioli and lamb shank - Woah!

Corporate traveler - this is the worst breakfast buffet I've had at hundreds of hotels. Roadside roach hotels are better.

Very clean & vibey spot; the decor is very cute and cozy, they dim the lights after a certain time I'm assuming, loved it. Definitely have to come back and try other items out. Here's what we ordered: * braised short ribs - strong 7/8, i didn't like the veggies as much but flavor wise, very yummy. * honey roasted chicken - oouuu, a very strong 8/9, the sauce was amazing; veggies, everything was sooooo yum. * Caesar salad - strong 7/8 (wish it was more but we did split 1 just to try it out first) * Mac & cheese - the only item we did not like 1 bit. Dry, cold and no flavor :( * sweet & spicy Brussels - strong 8/9, they weren't spicy at all but the sauce was yummy! * drinks - GREAT! Soft music and excellent service. The entire staff was so accommodating and the vibes were really good. The food was disheartening to say the least. The other patrons of my party didn't say anything about their food but no one finished and no one asked for a to go box. Also the food came out near room temperature... Parking was slightly difficult and in some lots you have to pay. There's nothing convincing me to come back.

Customer Service-From the hostess stand to the bar, waiter, and management, I give it a 10/10! Everyone was friendly, respectful and accommodating without question. My waiter was Will, and he showed the utmost level of outstanding customer service the entire visit! I came in on a Saturday for a 6:15 PM reservation for a party of four. I arrived first on time and my first guest arrived at 6:20 PM. I was told I had to wait till the rest of my party arrived. I set at the bar while waiting for the rest of our party. My friend approached the hostess stand to ask if we could be seated as a party of two . Also, advised the Mexican girl that it will be only 3 but, we don't have to wait for her cause she's not gonna be eating since we're on a time schedule and was attending an event. The hostess was very rude and dismissive, stating "that's not how it works" in an unprofessional tone. Later, another hostess came over and said our reservation had "run over" at 6:35 PM, even though we were already in the restaurant before our reservation time window had passed and there were clearly open tables available. The restaurant wasn't packed at all. When we asked again about a table for two, we were told we could either sit at the bar or wait. The interaction felt very unwelcoming and unprofessional. We told the hostess we wanted a table for two to sit down and eat . The black hostess said , so you want to stay at the bar or you want a table . I said a table. She said , the bar ‍I said no a table. She then said that they could refuse service if we had an attitude, which was not the case . I simply answered her question by saying no . Told her I didn't know that saying no is me having an attitude. At that point, we chose to leave and not spend our money there due to the poor customer service and the rudeness of the hostess. Overall, the staff we interacted with on June 20th at 6:15 PM were rude and unprofessional and clearly need better customer service training. Based on this experience, I understand why there are so many negative reviews.

Definitely a place to be seen and eat well. There's a parking garage but it was full when we got there, so we did valet, which was surprisingly affordable. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, helpful, and super knowledgeable about the menu. As for the food, we got: Aguachile de Pescado, which was insane. Super fresh, bright, citrusy, ceviche-like with perfect texture. I would go back just for that. The Hamachi was clean and bright. That avocado sauce tied everything together and gave it some depth without overpowering the fish. The Pork Belly Tostadas were crispy and rich with that smooth avocado mousse and sweet mango salsa balancing it out perfectly. Finally, the bone marrow with steak... so good. I had seen pictures of it before I came and it did not disappoint. The steak was incredibly tender. They bring blue corn tortillas and suggest making a taco with the marrow, steak, and avocado. It's great that way. But honestly, the marrow and steak stand perfectly on their own. Whole experience was excellent. Easily one of my favorite spots in the city now.

Right when we walked in, the staff complained to us that we hadn't called ahead to have a "smaller, special menu" crafted for a large party. To make matters worse, they loudly announced to the whole table right off rip that they wouldn't split checks separately--only an even split. It felt incredibly rude, lazy, and unwelcoming. The irony is that the large group size wasn't even an issue; we staggered our arrivals and the patio was completely empty. The kicker- my brother in law ended up paying the whole tab at the end anyways! so all of that initial laziness & nastiness for NOTHING! Throughout the night, the service felt incredibly rushed and stressed. While we were still eating our appetizers, the busser was aggressively trying to clear our plates because the mains were coming. Our server was very short with us the entire time, which was confusing because the restaurant didn't even have a stressful vibe. She recommended a main dish to me that I really didn't care for, though I will say the salsa was unique and probably the best part of the meal. Shoutout to the one staff member who was actually friendly, but overall, this is not the kind of place where you leave feeling like you had a nice restaurant experience- at least I personally didn't.. Too bad we didn't just go to C&S next door which we always love. Regardless tho, my sister had a blast, but that's entirely because she has a wonderful crew of great friends, not because of Casi Cielo.
