Garlic-Cured Pork Belly
Kayla M.

Everyone deserves to be treated with that extra care, especially when celebrating one's birthday! Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing people to match!! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcoming smile Gary he walked us to our requested table. Located under a beautiful painted Muriel. And I have to say amazing attention to detail because Steve offered us our purse holders. Yes, ladies and gents they have purse holders. How amazing is this!!!! We were also offered welcoming birthday glasses of delicious wine!! They have a wonderfully large, indoor bar, fully stocked top shelf Steve gave us his amazing recommendations which we all took. He highly recommended the Featured Items ~ She-Crab Fried Rice Garlic-Cured Pork Belly C.C.C. (GF, V) Grilled Turmeric Gulf Shrimp (GF) The she- crab is absolutely incredible, such fluffy grains and beautiful, juicy pieces of REAL!!! crab meat The garlic pork belly is the best pork belly I have ever had. It wasn't oily, and it wasn't too fatty. It was perfectly crisp ends, and when I took the rest home and heated it the next day it was still as delicious right out the microwave.!! The coconut shavings was the best thing I've ever had. It was perfect perfectly textured amazing flavor. I've never had a coconut prepared like this before in my life and I'm Jamaican. I grew up around coconuts.!!! The grilled shrimp, it's beautifully prepared with the head cut off!!! wonderful seasonings, great texture, and a wonderfully sized and the chai lime. That is amazing. I asked for sites to go.!! We decided on the lychee drink absolutely delicious not too sweet perfectly prepared, The staff was incredibly sweet. I felt like I was treated with such special care, especially celebrating on my birthday. As we were sitting more families came in more ladies and celebrating girls night. It's such a great experience, especially to have this literally in my backyard.!!! And they're preparing to have their patio right in time for this beautiful Roswell weather!!!! Parking : Free Parking located at the back of the restaurant On Sloan Street Restrooms: Female - ample sized. Two large stalls. And multiple mirrors !!

Raised in Asia - I've had my fair share of Asian food and Thailand. I had low expectations coming into this and was absolutely blown away - these folks know their flavors, they know what they were going for. Not your typical American Thai - this is the real deal. We had 4 different appetizers of which I have no photos to show because I was stuffing my face ! Phenomenal staff who knew their dishes and quite a romantic dark lit restaurant ! Will be back for sure

This place is literally Thai perfection! 10/10! So happy we found this restaurant while browsing on IG. Plenty of parking lot spaces in beautiful Roswell. We made dinner reservations and were greeted by a lovely host. He was able to get us seated at the booth seating, which was helpful because my toddler doesn't like high chairs and the booths are always more comfy for her. Mon was our waitress and she was amazing! She recommended some great options for us and everything was AMAZING! We started with the Thai Spa cocktail - this was like a Thai version of the French 75 and was so delicious! We also had some Thai tea - I was disappointed it came in such a small glass filled with tons of ice because it was very tasty! Now for the food - OMG WHERE TO BEGIN? We ordered several starters: 2 orders of the tiger shrimp because my 8yo daughter was obsessed, the Thai hot fried chicken was fried to perfection with the best crunch factor, she-crab fried rice was some of the best crab fried rice I've had in atlanta! One of our favorite dishes was the firey collards that came with a side of jasmine rice - this was pleasantly flavorful and the breadcrumb topping set it off! For dessert we got the bread pudding that came with a side of Thai tea caramel to drizzle on top (so good) and coconut gelato. The pudding was warmed and had a delicious pumpkin seed, raisin topping which helped give it a nice crunch. I already can't wait to come back here!

We had a fantastic dinner tonight at the Tipsy Thaiger. Highly recommend the fabulous cocktails -- creative and delicious! We had 3 appetizers to share, the CCC, the pork belly and the spicy chicken. All excellent! The pistachios with the pork belly were quite a treat. Then had a chicken curry and she-crab fried rice as entrees. Delicious. The curry had a kick, but not too much. Dessert was a coconut tart which was both beautiful and tasty. The service was attentive but not smothering. We love that they use local suppliers and farmers and everything is super fresh. We will put this on our regular rotation!

This place deserves to be Michelin rated. I mean wow ! 1st and foremost the ambiance is stunning. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food?! 10/10 recommend. My favorite item on the menu was the chive fries, they were light and airy. I also enjoyed the shrimp, def worth ordering. The chili jams clams is my second favorite, it has a perfect balance between spicy and creamy. You cannot leave without ordering the crab fried rice! I shared those items with my sister and we left here very satisfied. I'll most certainly return back here !! Such a unique Thai restaurant!

Had a wonderful time here with a group of 5! This restaurant is a bit tucked away in Roswell, the ambiance is elegant but relaxed, and all the food was amazing. Most of their dishes are a bit more elevated and less common than those you can find at casual Thai restaurants, so I was really excited to try new Thai dishes (especially the seafood). The server told us that they wanted to highlight underrated side of Thai cuisine, which is awesome. My favorites might be the crab fried rice and the creme brulee, but honestly I liked everything I tried. The drinks were also cool and unique, fave unexpected one has Thai curry and lemongrass. All the spices stood out and seafood and meat were cooked very well. Presentation was great too. Looking forward to supporting them in the future!

Came for an early dinner with a friend Saturday around 5:15pm. We had a reservation but there weren't many people, it did however pickup by 6pm so you'd want a reservation for later dinners. We split the curry sticks and pork belly appetizers. The curry sticks were good but needed a dipping sauce. For dinner we split the chicken curry and she-crab fried rice. The fried rice was good but not a huge portion, especially considering the cost. The chicken curry was enjoyable, but didn't come with rice. Again, for the cost of these dishes I don't understand why the curry can't come with rice. Parking: free lot in the back.

I did visit Tipsy Tiger today Sunday prior to 5pm but it was closed, no one was there despite the YES event stating that the it included Sunday, and the hours on the door stating open til 5pm on Sunday. So I was not able to taste anything from this establishment. Not sure why they were closed today. UPDATE . . . So, I misread the sign. It's 5PM to 10pm Sundays. I was able to stop by and have the curry sticks small plate and apple sorbet desert. Delicious! This place has a nice classy vibe and ambiance. It gives upscale! Beautiful presentation. The curry sticks similar to a spring roll were tasty and unique. The apple sorbet was sumptuous, yes I said sumptuous. Haha. The wait staff was friendly as to be expected. Current inspection score 100, they are a newly opened restaurant, but they seem to have something special here. Good first experience set up for the event. The owner or chef likely has a lot of chef metals as posted inside the space.

Ambiance was very calming. Good for a date night. We went not long after their official opening. Food was very good. Ordered two cocktails, two appetizer, two entrees and a dessert, got a bonus dessert for my birthday. The sorbet was way better than the Thai tea French toast. Overall the food was really good and unique. Was it worth $225 with tip? No, it wasn't. Each item was markup by $5 from what I would have expected, maybe due to the area/location. Tried it, it was great. I would be more willing to go back if the price is more realistic. She crab fried rice: $38, Crying tiger steak (thinly sliced): $49 (Oct 2025), now $52.

I had seen this place everytime on my drive home and was intrigued to see what they offer and followed their social media journey vigorously! Today was the day I got to try it with a reservation and this restaurant blew my expectations! The most wonderful and intimate ambiance with simple yet beautiful decor. The staff were super inviting. Seating is very comfortable and the menu is simple yet has some dishes that looked absolutely delicious. Our server Pimonrat was an absolute joy and super friendly! She gave us great recommendations and checked on us constantly. We ordered some drinks such as mango sticky rice and banana metro. The drink menu had a very helpful description of what those drinks consist of and the "flavors". The wait time was rather long but understandable as it was their soft opening. The food came out fresh and the plating was absolutely gorgeous. I ordered the crab fried rice and it was amazing! The best temperature and perfect amount. The flavors melted on your tongue. My husband got the crying thaiger and the plating was phenomenal as well. We also got dessert and were blown away by the flavor and presentation! I could go on and on about how amazing this place was! Overall our experience was 10/10 and we are so glad to have this addition to Roswell!

The space is cozy and romantic for date night. Feel and look upscale. Service was friendly and our food came out on time. The drinks are delicious and they didn't skim on the alcohol either. The bar area is very nice space to have a drinks with friends. Food is beautifully presented and delicious as well.

Can I just eat here every day?! Truly one of the best meals I've had in recent memory. My husband and I have been so excited for Tipsy Thaiger to open since they began doing pop-ups in the Roswell area. Despite coming in for dinner within only a few weeks of them opening, everything was amazing from the atmosphere to the service and, of course, the food. Everything we tried was nothing short of delicious. You can taste the freshness and care put into all of the dishes. We are so excited to have this gem in our backyard.

Curry Sticks
Ikenna I.

Alright, so boom. I rolled through on a Saturday night just looking for a solid meal to kick off the weekend, and they absolutely delivered. I started things off with the Curry Sticks. It's a mix of king oyster mushroom and curried potato, but the real star of the show is that house-made sweet sriracha sauce. I've got high standards for anything claiming to be "spicy and sweet," and this hit the mark perfectly. It was so good I ended up ordering a second round of the sauce just to have on deck. For the main, I went with the She-Crab Fried Rice. Between the crab fat, the Old Bay, and that salt-cured duck yolk, the depth of flavor was serious. It's a heavy hitter, but in the best way possible. I took that extra sweet sriracha and dumped it right on top of the rice, and honestly, that elevated the whole situation to a different level. The space itself is actually a decent size with plenty of room to breathe indoors, so you aren't cramped up against the next table while you're trying to eat. It's got a relaxed atmosphere that works whether you're on a date or just catching a vibe. If you're in the area and want Thai food that actually has some personality, this is the move. I'm already planning my next trip back for that rice.

What we ordered: Apps: * Fattoush salad - Fresh and full of flavor with crisp radishes, cucumbers, tomato, and a nice hit of sumac. * Dill labneh - Flavor-packed and delicious, though a bit thick, which made it harder to scoop with the soft pita. Mains: * Chicken barg - Phenomenal. Incredibly flavorful and easily the star of the meal. The house dressing on the side was addictive - I was literally scooping up extra rice just to dip into it. I substituted the rice for grilled veggies (up charge of +$7 felt extreme esp considering the entree was already $30) but the veggies were absolutely delicious. Squash, zucchini, peppers, onion, pineapple. * Honey harissa chicken - Disappointing. Lacked flavor, cook wasn't great, and didn't compare to similar dishes elsewhere (DelBar) * Adas pollo rice - Decent with a nice crunchy exterior, but overall just okay in both flavor and portion. Also doesn't compare to DelBar's. Service: We sat at the bar. Our bartender seemed newer and struggled a bit, but her teammate stepped in and really elevated the experience with great service and humor. We started with the pimento cheese dip and were both surprised to find that it was served hot along with several pieces of soft, warm bread. It was SO good and a nice change from the way that most other restaurants serve their pimento cheese. Even hubby loved it and he is usually not a fan of cheese. For my main, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is THE BEST MEAL I have had in a really long time. Total comfort food that hit all the right spots on this chilly afternoon. The cheese on the sandwich was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the tomato soup was perfection. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. It was delicious and I will be back for more soon. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had. He is hard to please, so between the pimento and sandwich, 1920 achieved the improbable in impressing hubby. Service was impeccable. The main reason we had not come back in a while is because it is a small space and can feel pretty congested when it fills up, which is not the most comfortable. We don't like feeling crowded, but after today's visit, we decided that the limited space is a small price to pay for amazing food and service, so we will undoubtedly return soon. Perhaps we will try sitting outside instead when the weather cooperates. Big thanks to 1920 for starting our new year off on the right foot!

After sitting for 25 minutes with no greeting, we stopped the hostess to ask if we could order. She seemed surprised that no one had helped us and came back about five minutes later to take our full order. It took 45 minutes after being seated to finally get our drinks. The excuse? "No clean wine glasses." At that point, I would have gladly taken my wine in any clean glass they had. The only reason we stayed was because the band was genuinely good. Meanwhile, the food runner wandered from table to table "auctioning off" dishes because he clearly didn't know where anything belonged. When our food arrived, it actually tasted good - but the service issues overshadowed everything. After we finished eating, our server disappeared again. We eventually had to get up and find her just to get our checks. Part of our friends' order ended up on our bill, but we didn't bother waiting for her to correct it. To top it off, there was a random 3% service charge (for what?) and an automatic 20% gratuity added because there was a band. Not cool, especially given the terrible service. The entire restaurant felt unprepared and overwhelmed, and no one ever apologized for the extremely long waits. Will I go back? Probably not. The prices are far too high for the level of service we received.
