Bangkok crunch roll and Pui hi roll
    Ariel C.

We got takeout so I can't really speak to the ambiance or service, but the food was ready when we got there which was great. It's in a large shopping center, so while there are a lot of parking spots, I had to park pretty far on a Friday night. We got the veggie gyoza and spring rolls to start. Both were good - nothing special but yummy. It's always nice when there are several veggie appetizer options! I got two sushi rolls, Bangkok Crunch and Pui Hi. Both tasted very good and had nice textures. The flavors were great and the size of the rolls was decent for the price. I'd be open to trying other rolls there. We ordered the chicken Thai Fried Rice. My gf really enjoyed it, and it was a very large portion, like several meals' worth. We also ordered tofu Pad See Ew, which I know is basic but it's my favorite. This was nothing like any Pad See Ew I've had before. It wasn't bad but it wasn't what I was expecting. The sauce was salty and garlicky, when it's usually sweet. I know the vegetables included were listed, so that wasn't a surprise, but I've never seen that mixture in this dish before. The tofu was well prepared and there was a good amount of it. It was two dinner servings for me, which is decent for the price.

Were visiting Atlanta and staying at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta North Perimeter Mall and Area. My brother suggested we have Thai food and this restaurant had good ratings in Yelp and was marked with $$. It was an easy drive and we both enjoyed our meals. We had talked about bringing back leftovers but we finished the meal and there weren't any. We'd return here again. @BananaLeafATL @EatBananaLeafATL #RestaurantsinSandySpringsGA #AtlantaEats #buzzybooth

It was ok. I wish there was more options like seafood option to get with the drunken noodles. I got the shrimp and had to remove the tails which would have been better if it was off.

I have been wanting to come here for a while, and I'm glad I finally did! I went on a Wednesday afternoon and it was pretty empty. I like the decor because it was really floral and pretty. The service was fast and efficient, and the server was attentive and helped me figure out what meal would work best. The lunch portion of the Krad POW was very good and filling, and I ended up taking some home. The sushi was pretty good also.

I finally got a chance to visit Banana Leaf and it didn't disappoint. I tried a green curry dish that served at a festival a while back and decided to visit the restaurant while I was in the area. The restaurant is located in a large shopping plaza and plenty of free parking was available. The restaurant was decked out with beautiful Halloween decorations. I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly. To start, I ordered a margarita flavored with Thai chili. It was really good and well balanced. I also ordered the spring rolls and Tom Kha soup. Both were delicious. For my entree, I ordered the green curry with chicken. I really enjoyed the dish. I didn't add any additional spice and it still had a kick to it. I truly enjoyed my lunch here and look forward to returning.

I had an excellent experience at Banana Leaf! Parking is shared by many places, so you should be able to find a spot. My friend made a reservation for us, and we were immediately seated. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated. our server was so sweet, kind, and patient. We ordered the shrimp dumplings, spring rolls, tofu fried rice, pad see ew, and the banana fritters with matcha ice cream. Everything was exquisite. Our server constantly checked in on us and took our payment table side. We were given a warm goodbye and even took a selfie at their photo booth before we left. This was such a great experience. Highly recommend and I will be back!

GAENG KEOW WAN and SHRIMP TEMPURA APPETIZER
    Madison D.

Good food however it was nothing too special. They did have interesting dishes, which I have not seen in other restaurants which is a bonus. On the other hand, their beef was extremely chewy in the Gaeng Keow Wan. This dish was supposedly the three spice level, the highest spice level this restaurant has. However, even a person who cannot handle spice at all could eat this with ease, not spicy at all. But the flavours were intriguing and tasty.

Chicken satay and Chicken Wings were sweet , but tested good . Pad thai tasty and so was Basil fried rice , which was spicy enough for me, both dishes had good portions . Atmosphere was very nice , place clean and Fast service . Busy parking area during the weekend as they is plenty of food places around there .

I went to this place because of Yelp reviews and it didn't disappoint me at all! Friendly staff with fabulous decor of Thailand. I went solo was seated immediately. 15-20 customers were already at tables. There is also an outside patio but I'm enjoying the AC in The South! I bought a squid salad, avocado roll and soft crab tempura roll! All were so delicious and fresh! Everything came out smoothly and I wasn't rushed to leave when I also met a solo customer sitting next to me! We talked for about another hour after we were finished with our dinner!

    BANGKOKKIAN, so good
    Marissa N.

The service was attentive and the dining area was well kept. The food was delicious, the sushi was good and as expected. The nam sod and the bangkokkian were winners for us. Along with the pad thai. They made a great attempt at bread pudding with the Thai tea poured over but it could have used more raisins, or sweetness, or something...

Came here a couple months ago and forgot to review! Dazzling interior and service. Food came out fast and everything was delicious. Tables are a little cramped though so you can totally hear your neighbor's conversation. I got the spring rolls, veggies masher roll, and the avocado roll. It was really good. Will be back if ever in the area again!

Can't remember actual names but LOVED the curry Duck, the pad see ew and the Purple gin drink with lychee. 5 stars!!

Soooo Goood!!! Atmosphere, service and food were absolutely wonderful. We loved it and will definitely come back! We had the duck, spider roll, pad see ew, and royal purple gin drinks. Everything was excellent!!

And then I just received a roll at a time, which isn't the end of the world, but I like to eat from each roll and compare / go back and forth. I shared four rolls with a friend - Georgia Crunch, Salmon Tempura, Energy, and Braves. I thought Georgia Crunch was just alright. Salmon Tempura roll was pretty spicy and very good. The Energy was very yummy and the Braves was really good, just note that it's five very large pieces (circumference-wise). My gf got a hibachi dish which she said was different then any hibachi she's had but enjoyed it. It didn't come with enough rice though. A couple weeks ago, I figured I'd give them another chance and ordered takeout. I got the Alaskan and Hawaiian rolls. They were both ok, very fresh but kind of bland. They didn't give me the spicy mayo that comes on the Hawaiian roll, which was very disappointing. Also one is listed as having "crab stick" and the other "crab meat," but they both came with crab stick. If a roll has crab stick in it, that's what should be listed! Even if that's what's meant by crab meat, they should be consistent when listing what's in each roll. My gf got the same hibachi dish, and it was fine but they only gave her a tiny scoop of rice. There is no reason to skimp on rice! The prices are comparable to other sushi spots but I don't think I'm going to go back again.

We started with some apps and my favorite was the oysters. Then most of the courses were various nigiri and ofc my favorites were the fatty tuna and eel. I also really liked the uni even though I usually don't! The presentation for everything was gorgeous and some of the sushi was pretty unique with the flavor pairings. There were groups of people who ent I early, so I thought I'd see I asked the host and he said they do open at 11:45, but they were open and took me to a table. The waitress was prompt to take my drink order and was welcoming. It'd been years since I've gone as I live in Duluth and don't get there often. I was there for the sushi so I headed straight to that section. Since it was early, the sushi looked fresh and had detailed signs of what each rolls or nigiri had. One thing I noticed, the pieces were much smaller than what I remembered. The fish was thinly sliced, so it seemed that two pieces were the equivalent to one piece at other sushi places. I got my plate of sushi and then went o get a plate of the salads and cold vegetables. The presentation of each salad was nice when they are first put out. I did go look to see what hot foods were available but decided to wait until I finished my sushi and salads. Once finished, I did go back to the hot dishes. I was pretty full by then, but thought I'd try a few dishes. The steamed fish was gone as well as some of the other dishes, so I thought I'd try only a very few dishes---bulgogi, jap chae, and a battered sweet chicken. I bit into the chicken and it was cold! This was a dish that was on the steam table. The bulgogi and jap chae were so so. When I looked at the chicken dumplings and shu Mai, they looked dry and over steamed. Unappetizing in my opinion. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and the wait staff were bustling with clearing the plates as well as refilling the hot tea. I was actually surprised when I got the bill. It was $20.99 before tax for lunch. I thought that was the old price when I was on the website. But that seems to be cheaper than other sushi buffets in the area. I don't think they impose a time limit and they don't tell you that you have to finish what you get before you can get another plate. I'll go again because I love sushi!
