The service was friendly but not very attentive as they only came back at the end of the meal. Parking is tricky but there is a gravel lot close by right now with all the construction. I got a cortado to drink and it was delicious. Very impressed with the coffee. I'm really surprised I haven't reviewed Fellows before since we've been coming here for years. Fellows is consistently my favorite brunch in the Roswell area. The dishes we return to over and over again include the usual, the sweet potato eggs Benedict, and the huevos rancheros. The rotating seasonal drinks are always unique and thoughtful, and often a fun design is made too :) The interior is beautiful but you can't go wrong with either the patio or garden either. You can tell the owners have truly cultivated the space with details that accentuate the original home. Service is always consistently friendly. I really love this place. The food is amazing, and the staff has always been super sweet and welcoming. That's honestly why this is hard to write, because we genuinely enjoy coming here. But I do want to be honest about the service time. This is now the second time we've come in and waited an extremely long time just to be greeted or get drinks. The first visit, we waited about 40 minutes before anyone came to our table. This time, we waited around 30 minutes with no water, drinks, or anyone taking our order. I usually come with my kids, and by that point they were starving, so we ended up leaving and ordering our food to go instead. The crazy part is we usually know exactly what we want right away, so it's not like we were taking extra time deciding. We ended up going next door because the wait was much quicker. Again, the food here is genuinely so good, and the people are very kind, which is why this is disappointing. I'm not sure if they need to hire more staff or improve the flow of service, but hopefully this improves because we really do love this place and want to keep supporting them. read more

I love the food and especially the coffee at Fellows but, unfortunately, have now had several bad experiences with the service and always when I have visitors in town. Today it took nearly 30 minutes to get two coffees to my table, and that was only after I sought out our server to see if they would be coming soon. I feel like that *should* have been an indication that we were getting frustrated and should have changed the level of attention we received, but it did not. When the coffee finally arrived, I asked if it was going to be another long while for the food and was told, "Probably yes, the kitchen is really backed up." I do not expect an individual member of the waitstaff to have any control over the speed the kitchen gets orders out, but if we had any level of normal service while we waited it would have been way less painful. We eventually canceled the food order and it took another almost 10 minutes to get change from the bill for the coffees which - now that I think about it - probably should have been comped. If Fellows could get the service situation figured out, it would be a great spot. If you have all the time in the world, the Miel Latte is the best. read more

I was actually pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to Fellows! I got the Turkey Melt sandwich from their Holiday menu and it was delicious! Trying to find a date brunch on a Friday landed us here in Roswell at Fellows Cafe. While it is a little pricey, I would say that it wasn't too bad. Fellows Cafe is a house turned neighborhood restaurant that's nestled in downtown Roswell. Let's talk about parking. Your best bet is to park your car a little further away and then walk to everything. It's within walking distance, and I think it's great if you're just trying to explore the area. Otherwise, you can park behind the Fire Station but note that it's gravel and usually full. I would suggest to park near city hall, library, or the arts center as its only about a 5 minute walk from there. Now the food. I got.a pistachio rose latte and the fellows board. I didn't want something way too heavy that I wouldn't be able to eat dinner, and I wanted to try out the rose latte. It was pretty sweet, which was nice and what I needed as an afternoon pick me up. I also thought the charcuterie board was great. The spread was great and I really enjoyed the bread. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here. I don't know if I would come back here just because their menu wasn't really too exciting. Sort of had the same kind of brunch items that you would see elsewhere. However, if I lived in the area, this would definitely be one of the better places to eat at or even just going to get a coffee. I saw that a lot of their patrons were people who were using the cafe as a place to work and also to get coffee. I thought that was pretty cool. Other cafes should look to Fellows and use them as a template of serving good food and have that homey atmosphere. Do not recommend. Another disappointing experience. The manager, Imani, was very rude and passive-aggressive. We made a reservation a month in advance for a garden seat. It was raining that morning, but since we received no call, text, or email warning that outdoor seating would be unavailable, we reasonably assumed there was some sort of covered outdoor setup. When we arrived, we were told outdoor seating was closed, and the manager's "solution" was either: 1. Wait over an hour for an indoor table while leaving my dog outside in the rain, or 2. Sit outside "if we wanted", despite the rain, no cover, and all outdoor chairs already being put away. I asked why no one had contacted me beforehand. The manager first said a notification has been sent that morning. When I said I did not receive any email, she then said it was a text. I showed her my phone -- nothing from the restaurant except the reservation confirmation. She had no response and no apology. When we asked why she couldn't acknowledge the issue and apologize. She refused to apologize, saying she would not serve us and asked us to leave. Not a single sorry. Just arrogance, attitude and dismissive responses -- from a manager who clearly couldn't care less about her customers. We won't be coming back.
