I came here one day because it is near my son's high school. I had a virtual meeting early in the morning so I brought my computer and I was just going to take the heating here. The place is dark, has lots of wood, and gives off that secret meeting vibe. I ordered a latte, set up where I found power, and proceeded to prepare for my meeting. Then the regulars started coming in. And they got "loud". I drank my latte and packed up and went home quickly to talk my meeting. I just don't understand how people work in places like this. My go to place was closed so I found this close by cafe near the local high school. Ordered at the counter and he went to deliver my order to the chef in the back. I took a seat at a nice window table. He quickly brought me my coffee drink and that was eventually followed by a freshly cooked brunch type meal. Came here to meet a freind for coffee, did order a bagel. I ordered the toffee coffee which was so good! Didn't need anything added to it. I got an everything bagel with cream cheese. I like my bagels toasted and then spread, this bagel seemed steamed. I was disappointed in the the texture but the flavor was there. The owners were attentive and helped in the ordering process. This was a dark area , good for study or just cozying up to a nice book. There out tables and couches to sit at. It's close to a school so definitely saw students in and out. read more

The atmosphere this cafe provides is really cozy and welcoming. There's a fireplace with couches, and many tables of varying sizes and heights to suit your seating needs. The music is audible but nowhere near overbearing or distracting, making it the perfect study spot. Just be aware there are not too many outlets. All the drinks here are really good. I personally come here to get a latte or a smoothie. FYI they offer non diary milk!! The service is always perfect too! In all honesty, though I haven't tried everything on the menu, don't except the food to blow you away. It's crazy I've lived in Peachtree corners for so long and drove past this place but never stopped in. Man do I regret it being that we no longer live over here. My coffee was AMAZING!!! The food was delicious omg the French toast! And the pricing was sooo good $15 for everything pictured. I was so full. I came here at the recommendation of my girlfriend who we met for a quick bite and a latte. She had said how good their lattes were. I found the food to be pretty basic but then I just got the omelette. My daughter got the bagel with cream cheese and some kind of strawberry carbonated beverage along with some eggs. So I guess we ordered basic lol I found the service to be really good. I don't know if that was the owner but he was so attentive and wanted to help take her order as quickly as possible. We sat outside because I had our new puppy with us. The outside seating really isn't very good because there are no umbrellas but we were able to at least find some shade. I really thought the prices were very reasonable for the lattes. I got a nice sized one with oat milk For around six bucks. My meal didn't come out very hot but it was still decent tasting. You can pick a number of vegetables and meats. I had ordered turkey, onion, and peppers which were only green by the way, and then if you want any extras, there is an upcharge. FYI, the turkey is deli slices shredded up, not ground. I honestly have to say I doubt I would come back here. My latte was just OK, definitely not my fave, and I wish they had umbrellas outside. Hidden Gem! Great coffee with some unique latte art! Don't let the front facade fool you, inside is quite inviting with standard tables and plush couches in front of a hearth fireplace. They also happen to have a drive-thru and some good breakfast. Although the breakfast won't win any presentation awards, the food is excellent and at an even better price point. This is what we ordered this visit: Cafe Au Lait Breakfast Platter: Scrambled Eggs, choice of Bacon or Sausage, and choice of Waffle or French Toast. Breakfast Special: 2 Eggs Scrambled, Sausage or Bacon, Rye Toast, and Grits our Potatoes. Custom Omelette - Done perfectly and not oily. Cappuccino, Caramel Latte, and Decaf Latte All eggs done perfectly, Bacon and Sausage were done correctly. (although cooked Bacon is a very religious topic). Toasts were crisp outside and soft inside. Of all, the French Toast stood out the most. It was sufficiently sweet without any syrup, but not overwhelmingly so. The other stand out was the coffee in general, but the caramel latte was delish! Not super sweet, with plenty of coffee flavor. Latte art is done really well here too. Not sure of consistency, but the lady on Sunday does it right! They also have high chairs and boosters for little ones. Lastly, the price, I wouldn't be surprised if breakfast prices went up at some point. It's that good of a deal. read more

I first visited when the pandemic was JUST starting, and I was in town from California to look at some nearby houses. In need of coffee and the bathroom, I popped into Cafe Au Lait and was immediately impressed: cozy environment, great coffee, interesting food choices, and amazing service. I told myself that I'd be sure to visit again when after I moved. Unfortunately, the pandemic got worse, and I never found either the opportunities or desire to dine out often, and certainly much less to hang out in a cafe. Instead, I mostly used the drive-through to get coffee, especially since I'm not a Starbucks fan and always prefer any other option that's not a gas station or fast food. Now that the pandemic has eased up, I've finally found more of the opportunities and desire to visit inside, and every time, I'm incredibly satisfied. Whether just grabbing a coffee and a snack or nice, full breakfast, I'm pleasantly reminded of my first visit and what a privilege it is to have them just a few minutes away from my home. Now, I'm looking forward to fall and winter when I can hopefully visit on a cool, wet day and enjoy some coffee while reading by the fireplace! read more

Walking in, it's a very spacious location with a raging fireplace and some vintage looking pieces of art hanging on the walls! It was pretty packed, people on laptops working and friends enjoying an afternoon brunch. I ordered the Belgian Waffle and a Egg/Cheese Bagel. Ordering was simple and the staff was friendly, definitely foreign so the woman who took my order could barely speak but she definitely understood me so all is well! Smiles make all the difference. Prices were reasonable and my meal came out to be $15 after tip. The tables that weren't taken were pretty much all dirty so I couldn't sit right away, but after asking for a quick wipe down I sat pretty quickly! The manager was extremely friendly and brought me my breakfast. Simple meal, simple preparation. I didn't wait at all and everything came out fresh. Personally, I like my waffle a bit darker (it came out pretty white) but was good! A whole lot of powdered sugar on top but luckily I love sweets!! Very pleased after eating. We have loved this place for 20 years. The owners are the sweetest people and I agree with another review here, you are treated with love, kindness and like you are in their home. Our children grew up playing the board games in this place, as we would go every week, it seems. :) When they are in Georgia, they always want to stop by and grab a boba tea or a special treat. Now we have lived in Indiana for 15 years, and every time we go back to Georgia at least once a year, we try to make sure to stop and enjoy the BEST CHAI LATTE on the planet. Foam perfection.. Coffee: Old Food: Stale Staff: Rude I went here to enjoy my afternoon with my friend and it ruined my day. I ordered a simple black coffee, yet it was stale, cold, and had no aroma. I told the barista and she happily offered to make me a latte instead. A few moments later the cashier came up to me and rudely said that I can't have a new latte because I originally ordered a black coffee. I was of course going to pay for it, and she has no right to talk to me like that. To top this all off, the bagel was stale and the crossiant was soggy. I felt highly unvalued and uncared for. I met my friend from out of town to hang out and we decided on Cafe Au Lait since it's midpoint of where we are. It is not hard to find. There is outdoor seating too with straw like umbrellas. Walking in, there is NO music. That's the only thing I would complain about haha. At least play instrumental music. I guess it could be a good or bad thing. I mean, you could actually pay attention and not worry about having loud music blasting and enjoy your convo. There is actually a drive through window too! I was shocked. They also sell boba. It's mostly a chill place with a few food items. I got oven baked potatoes. You order at the front and they bring it out to you. Overall, I like this place for the feel. Very popular for their Chicken Salad--neighbors buy it by the pound and serve at parties and buffets! Consistently delicious food and coffees. Nicest people (owners and helpers). Cafe Au Lait is close to Centennial High School, and has been a great meeting place for before-school breakfasts, PTA committee meetings, and business coffees for many years.
