Downtown Roswell never disappoints but this place is definitely a no. Went with a couple friends and ordered something food and a drink from the regular menu and a spooky themed drink. All were terrible. We stopped for just a couple apps but usually sets the tone to what to expect for a meal. I was contemplating ordering an entree but didn't trust that it would be seasoned or cooked well. Stars for service as everyone seemed friendly and upbeat and nothing too long to come out (could be the issue). Our server was consistent and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. The place is cozy with a tasteful ambiance.

The Cajun pasta with blackened chicken was literally to die for! I will absolutely be back. Food and atmosphere were 10/10.

What a gem! Can't believe we've never been here but we will certainly be back soon. The service was great (Kristi) and she even brought us a drink on the house as a preview to their upcoming holiday menu. We ordered the vanilla chai old fashioned (delicious) and then they brought the smores old fashioned for us to try (even better). For food we both had side Caesar salads to start. The salads were cold and crunchy and the dressing was the right amount of tang. For entrees, my husband got the pimento cheese burger which was delicious. Whatever sweet jam was on it made the burger. I ordered the special pork chop that was topped with a blueberry chutney type sauce and shallots. Served over loaded mashed potatoes and I swapped out the asparagus for brussel sprouts. Absolutely delicious all around. We look forward to coming back soon.

I had an orange mimosa and Tracy had a grapefruit mimosa.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Parking was a little stressful; however, we were able to find parking for payment up and left of the restaurant. This is a small restaurant; however, we were able to make reservations through Open Table I believe. As we walked in, we were nearly greeted with a friendly smile And take him to a table immediately. It smelled so good inside this restaurant and all the servers were dressed differently, which I appreciate. It's not many places where you can get chorizo so I was extremely excited about that. I ordered the chorizo omelette with onions and peppers added and a side of fried potatoes. I also ordered one pancake. It was so good. I almost forgot to stop and take a picture. The omelette and potatoes were so good. The pancake was different. I was still good but it was sweeter than what I'm used to and the texture was different. I was still good it took three bites for me to get on board. My friend Tracy really enjoyed her avocado toast but she likes simple things so some of the ingredients she pushed off and did not eat. Both of our mimosas were fire and we both ordered two. I would return here!!!

We had a last minute change in plans. Canton St. Social got us in on an extremely busy Saturday night. Kudos. Jennifer was exemplary. And the owners, managers and all staff worked together into a fine coordinating dance. They kep adjusting the heating elements for us. Filled our waters brought extra extra grilled bread for the charcuterie board. It was great. Pricey but great. What do you expect on Canton St on a Saturday night?!

Today was our second visit to Canton St Social and it won't be the last. This is easily in my top 3 favorite Roswell spots. The interior space is small and intimate. Making a reservation ahead of your visit is probably a good idea. Service is excellent and so is the food. The first time we went, hubby and I shared the pimento bruschetta, which was mouthwateringly delicious, and a pizza. Since we couldn't decide on a pizza flavor, we each chose our toppings for our side and they were happy to accommodate us. Today, we had the pimento bruschetta again because it is too good to pass on. I ordered the social burger and my husband ordered the caprese panini. Once more, we had a great experience. Service was on point and everything we ordered hit the spot. If you haven't tried Canton St. Social yet, you are missing out!

Great gathering with family. We had 2 tables & our server was knowledgeable & friendly. Great bar cocktails & wine. The old fashion was very good! We had Bang, bang shrimp & spinach dip to start. Everyone's entrees were great....i had the shrimp tacos, others had the burger, Asian tacos & redfish special. Always enjoy this Roswell gem!

I was excited to try this place seeing the review however it was an overall a tad bit disappointing. We got there at 11.30 and the sign said close. We saw a full restaurant and let them know that their sign was showing otherwise and nothing was mentioned. Then we asked them if the menu outside was what we could order from and were informed they forgot to switch the menu and that was a dinner menu. Overall food was a little underwhelming. Maybe if you're there for cocktails , the experience could be impreoved with some "beer goggles" however the French onion soup came out a little salty, mussels were bland and burger came out wrong with no bacon or cheese. Service was great, restaurant was small, but clean and beautiful. Hoping to go back at some point for a different experience to match other better reviews.

Roswell was having an event where all their local restaurants serve up a set course in order for people to try out their menu. We went off the set menu and ordered the mussels for appetizers. The scallops and the piccata. They did not disappoint. Everything tasted delicious! I even got some of my favorite Russell brand (blue label 13 years bourbon). Staff was very hospitable and friendly and we were seated right away. Thanks Jenn and Quan for chatting with us! I'm definitely coming back to try the Banh Mi appetizer! RJ approves too! Thanks again!

This place is amazing! The service was top notch, the food was fresh and they even make their own dough & pizzas! Not only this but they also have perfectly crafted cocktails. They decorated everything for Halloween which was super cool.

We LOVE Canton St. Social. When I asked my little where he wanted to go celebrate his birthday dinner, he immediately said he wanted to see Ms. Kristi at Canton St. Social. Delicious food, great staff, yummy drinks, and always decorating for the different holidays throughout the year that gives them a NYC vibe when inside. Thank you!!

Usually hit up the Greek place next door but decided to try something new. Canton has inviting decor, friendly service, great location and good food and drinks!!

I was in the Atlanta area for work and Canton St Social was one of the highlights of my trip. I went in on a random Thursday night and was warmly welcomed by the staff. I sat at the bar and conversed with the bartender, I think Will was his name. He helped me make a decision about an entree and we discussed our mutual love for whiskey. I ended up ordering the cajun pasta and it was delicious! I opted for the crispy chicken and it was a perfect compliment to the dish. The breading was light and crunchy (it was even crunchy the next day when I ate leftovers!) and the sauce on the pasta was wonderful. I wish it had been a little more spicy though! I ordered the vanilla chai old fashioned which was unique and warming, great for a cold night! I was also excited to see they had a bourbon I've been wanting to try so of course I ordered it. Canton St Social is definitely somewhere I will make a point to return to next time i'm in town.

What we ordered: Apps: * Fattoush salad - Fresh and full of flavor with crisp radishes, cucumbers, tomato, and a nice hit of sumac. * Dill labneh - Flavor-packed and delicious, though a bit thick, which made it harder to scoop with the soft pita. Mains: * Chicken barg - Phenomenal. Incredibly flavorful and easily the star of the meal. The house dressing on the side was addictive - I was literally scooping up extra rice just to dip into it. I substituted the rice for grilled veggies (up charge of +$7 felt extreme esp considering the entree was already $30) but the veggies were absolutely delicious. Squash, zucchini, peppers, onion, pineapple. * Honey harissa chicken - Disappointing. Lacked flavor, cook wasn't great, and didn't compare to similar dishes elsewhere (DelBar) * Adas pollo rice - Decent with a nice crunchy exterior, but overall just okay in both flavor and portion. Also doesn't compare to DelBar's. Service: We sat at the bar. Our bartender seemed newer and struggled a bit, but her teammate stepped in and really elevated the experience with great service and humor. Overall: Great vibes, strong bar, and some truly delicious food. A few misses, but the highlights make it easy to recommend.

We started with the pimento cheese dip and were both surprised to find that it was served hot along with several pieces of soft, warm bread. It was SO good and a nice change from the way that most other restaurants serve their pimento cheese. Even hubby loved it and he is usually not a fan of cheese. For my main, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is THE BEST MEAL I have had in a really long time. Total comfort food that hit all the right spots on this chilly afternoon. The cheese on the sandwich was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the tomato soup was perfection. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. It was delicious and I will be back for more soon. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had. He is hard to please, so between the pimento and sandwich, 1920 achieved the improbable in impressing hubby. Service was impeccable. The main reason we had not come back in a while is because it is a small space and can feel pretty congested when it fills up, which is not the most comfortable. We don't like feeling crowded, but after today's visit, we decided that the limited space is a small price to pay for amazing food and service, so we will undoubtedly return soon. Perhaps we will try sitting outside instead when the weather cooperates. Big thanks to 1920 for starting our new year off on the right foot!

After sitting for 25 minutes with no greeting, we stopped the hostess to ask if we could order. She seemed surprised that no one had helped us and came back about five minutes later to take our full order. It took 45 minutes after being seated to finally get our drinks. The excuse? "No clean wine glasses." At that point, I would have gladly taken my wine in any clean glass they had. The only reason we stayed was because the band was genuinely good. Meanwhile, the food runner wandered from table to table "auctioning off" dishes because he clearly didn't know where anything belonged. When our food arrived, it actually tasted good - but the service issues overshadowed everything. After we finished eating, our server disappeared again. We eventually had to get up and find her just to get our checks. Part of our friends' order ended up on our bill, but we didn't bother waiting for her to correct it. To top it off, there was a random 3% service charge (for what?) and an automatic 20% gratuity added because there was a band. Not cool, especially given the terrible service. The entire restaurant felt unprepared and overwhelmed, and no one ever apologized for the extremely long waits. Will I go back? Probably not. The prices are far too high for the level of service we received.
