How this place isn't packed on a football Saturday is crazy to me! We came for the official UGA Alumni meetup, but I think we found another great spot to make our home! Clean, open, beautifully laid out food hall with one main huge screen and plenty of large screen around to watch whatever sport floats your boat!! There's a play yard out front where little ones can run free while adults indulge a little. Unfortunately, no dogs allowed INSIDE. They do allow them outside though. The food choices were varied--from sushi to Cajun to birria tacos! Wow! There are two big bars with some very friendly and helpful tenders. LOVE the indoor-outdoor seating with two Big Azz Fans to almost make it cold! Man! This is really a cool spot to spend some time! The tenders and tots we ordered were perfectly crispy and tasty. Roswell Junction is a great spot for families and a really cool concept. It's very kid-friendly during the day, but there are also comedy and live music options for adults at night, which makes it a pretty versatile place. The food hall setup works really well and there's something for everyone. The food probably isn't going to absolutely BLOW you away, but honestly, that's not really the point of this place. Everything we had was perfectly good and serviceable. The cheap beers and margaritas every day are definitely a big plus. Overall, it's a fun, casual spot that works well for both kids and adults. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Roswell. read more

I wanted to love this place. I did not. We went for a music performance and brunch. We won't go back. The food was outrageously overpriced. The flavor was mid at best. I tried to ask questions of the headphone wearing kid working there. He tried not to acknowledge me and was greatly annoyed when finally he had to. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen and it took 30 minutes to come out. When it finally did, it tasted like grocery store packaged ramen with grilled chicken and canned corn. The only option is to order via a screen, which asks you to leave both a tip and a donation for no one to speak to you. We got the Cajun seafood dip from the creole location. It was delicious but almost $20 for 4oz of dip with chips out of a bag. You could make 10x the volume of this at home with some rotel and Velveeta for the same price. The loaded tots and chicken strips with fries from the tavern were ok. I wouldn't seek them out. The chocolate milk shake was actually a vanilla milk shake with one squirt of Hershey syrup. The only item of note that we ordered out of the almost $100 spent there was the green chili vodka Bloody Mary. It was good because it was vodka with ZingZang bloody Mary mix and fresh lime juice. It did not have any sort of horseradish or Worcestershire or any sort of fun garnish, including even celery for $17. If you're going to this venue for live music, eat before you arrive. read more

This turned out to be a Decent spot with some good specials. I was just wandering around and happened to pass and thought I would stop in because I had never stopped in before. I didn't really get much and I think I just got some French fries and bought something but I wanted to see what the layout looked like. So this spot does get a little crowded depending on when you go. They do have parking but it's very scarce in the front and they have valet in the back. Just be aware that on a Saturday night you may have to work parking out somehow. Now they had some drink specials posted everywhere. This was actually a good spot to check that out because they have a lot of variation of it. You can see a couple of those in my pictures. The last time I was there they had live music so let me just back up for a little bit. They actually have a stage area where you may go and see some live entertainment and a crowd around them. What's nice is the stage part has its own bar so you don't have to keep running in and out of the food hall to get drinks. They have an outside play area for kids and it's kind of like a green turf situation so you can sit down and let them play. They have seats there and they have seats outside on a covered patio area as well so there are options for seating. Of course they're sitting on the inside and the seats there are not available. They are decent even if you don't count the bar itself. The bar is a pretty long bar so there's plenty of space to sit there. It has a lot of liquor options and it has a couple of TVs so you can actually watch a game or something along those lines. Overall if you're going to head to downtown Roswell, this will be a pretty decent spot to grab a bite to eat because there are a lot of options there. They have Italian, Mexican, cheese steaks, and other things that you can pick from. I do plan on actually going and trying all the things at some point in time but I just did an initial walkthrough. But this does look like it's worth my time to go back. read more

I had the West Coast Burger, and wow what a flavor bomb! Juicy, fresh, and perfectly balanced with all the right toppings. The fries were crispy and golden, and the whole vibe of the place is casual but stylish. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick even with the place buzzing. First time hitting up RWJ. We have driven by dozens of times on our way to Roswell down down and decided it was finally time to pay a visit on a weekday evening. This is a conglomerate of restaurants on a food court style venue with an open bar as a centerpiece, and then to throw in something for the kids too, an arcade and out door play. Some of the vendors have self serve electronic menus with integrated point of service platforms to help avoid lines. We had a mix of BBQ, Sushi and Tacos then had a couple of the beers from the tap at the bar---and hey - they even have their own RWJ IPA crafted by Maui Brewery - which is kind of insane. Our little one immediately found a few friends to play with while mom and dad enjoyed a meal and drink while taking in the scenery. It wasn't a busy night. Parking: there were no more spot but they also have valet. We decided to park our car a 1/4 mile away and walk in, which was ok. I can see coming here again. My friends and I couldn't decide on where to eat, and Roswell Junction has a variety of options for the indecisive. We didn't plan or expect to stop here, but we weren't mad in the end. It's a nice spot to chill and hang out. There's live music too, but it doesn't completely dominate the atmosphere since there's different seating areas. As for the food here, my friends got a gyro bowl and sushi, and I got a cheesesteak with fries. Some places definitely seem to complete orders faster than others, but it's hard to tell which place is busy since they also have online takeout orders to fulfill. My friends found the food enjoyable but salty, and I thought it was alright though a bit pricy for what I ended up receiving. I added mushrooms, but I'm not sure if I tasted any. read more

I thought that people on Yelp were being dramatic about how bad this place is, and wanted to give it a chance, but I just had a horrific experience and don't want anyone else to go through the same trauma. I made the mistake of having lunch at Shawarama Shack and honestly never want to eat again. It's definitely a shack, but it should be re-named to Sha-nasty Shack. First off, there was only one employee working at the booth and she was extremely rude. She had an AirPod in and clearly had no interest in talking to customers (she didn't say a word to us while we ordered). ONE lady making all the food and also entering orders on the computer with the same dirty gloves on... My wife had the Chicken Kabab and was physically made sick from her meal after one bite because the chicken was undercooked. Like it was literally pink on the inside, but she unfortunately didn't see that until she had taken a bite. It also came with some watery hummus that had a really gross and sour flavor. She was scared to bring it up and ask for a remake because the employee was so nasty to us to begin with. I had the Lunch Special Chicken Wrap and tried my best to enjoy it but was honestly really scared to eat it, even with eating around the chicken. It also came with a sad excuse of Mediterranean fries. Just the most basic possible fries with some weird seasoning sprinkled on. To top it all off, the food was insanely priced. My wife spent $16 on a raw chicken strip. The whole meal was a massive waste of $33. It's honestly a shame that this restaurant is so terrible and makes me never want to come back to the Roswell Junction. This place was definitely a huge investment to build, but it seems that people have had terrible experiences at all of the restaurants inside. I would consider coming back and trying a different restaurant despite honestly being scared to. However, I would NEVER wish Shawarama Shack on my worst enemy. read more

This was an incredibly disappointing experience, both with Roswell Junction and the sushi restaurant within The food hall. First, we were informed at 6:15 pm that everyone needed to leave Roswell Junction at 6:30 pm due to a private event. There was no signage posted, no notice at the entrance, and no indication when we arrived that the food hall would be closing to the public early. Had we known, we would have made other plans. Instead, we felt unwelcome and like we had to hurry up and eat in order to leave. They did say we could be In the yard... but what adult wants that? Unfortunately, the experience at the sushi restaurant, The Flying Fish, was even worse. I have been a regular customer for quite some time, which makes this especially disappointing. There appeared to be different people working the counter than usual, and my order was never acknowledged after I placed it. After waiting 20 minutes with no update, I asked for a refund. I was repeatedly told, "Just 5 more minutes," but another 10 minutes passed with no food and no communication. When they finally attempted to help me, they tried to give me the wrong order. At that point, they were unable to provide my sushi or process a refund back to my credit card. I never even received a receipt for my purchase. After continued frustration, I requested cash instead, and it was handed to me without so much as an apology but annoyance. The lack of communication, the excessive wait, the incorrect order, the inability to process a proper refund, and the complete absence of customer service were unacceptable. As someone who has supported this restaurant regularly, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that I will not be returning. read more

I tried this place again, and it's just a bummer. Got tacos and it took soooo long. The lady told me 'the chef dropped your tacos on the ground', and then later 'he hasn't started them yet'. Everyone in line was upset. The lady in line said that she was waiting over 20 min for chips and queso and tried other restaurants there and they were just as bad, which unfortunately was my experience there as well. The only redeeming thing here is the live music. So if you go for the music, definitely eat before you get there. So I am a little late to the party lol. I finally visited Roswell Junction on a Wednesday afternoon. I was surprised to find the place kind of empty. Lucky for me as the parking lot only holds about 20 cars! I wanted to try Pretty Little tacos but there was only 1 employee there cooking and the other one was charging her phone. So yeah, I took my hard earned money elsewhere. I went to Across the Coast next door and asked about the gumbo lunch special. The guy said there's no gumbo today and he was trying to call the cook. Sir it's 4pm lol. Like what were yall serving earlier? Anywho that left me with Cleaver the burger place. The young lady was friendly and didn't give me a hard time for ordering the lunch special at 4:04pm. The lunch specials run from 11am-4pm. The special is a burger, fries and drink for $15. Not bad ! I don't know if I was just hungry or if the burger was just that good but I devoured it! It was fresh and made with love. The fries are okay.. similar to Checkers fries but less crispness and seasoning. I will definitely go back... just for the burger. It's kinda sad that this place has potential to be great but will it? Maybe change out a few restaurants and/or signs where the additional parking is, samples, etc? Sad to see negative reviews of Roswell Junction but I had a great experience on my first visit. There are 7-8 Resturant options, 2 indoor bars and a cute outdoor bar. Lots of indoor and outdoor first come, first serve seating options, a small arcade room, performance stage. Free parking(Be sure to look for parking in the rear of the building) and valet is offered as well. We chose to Across the Coast Seafood and enjoyed a Salmon Ceasar Wrap and Fish & Chips. Service here was great at both Across the Coast and at the Bar. Roswell Junction is a nice add to Roswell. It's a clean, casual space. Will definitely return and try some of the other food options and just hang out. read more

I had seen rave reviews about this place as it's a new hot spot in town. When some family came for a visit this week, I figured it would be the perfect time to check out Roswell Junction since it seemed like a good idea to have a variety of options under one roof. Parking was okay as there were a few spots available even though it was technically lunch time. Upon arriving inside, though, I was immediately underwhelmed. It felt like a mall food court without the mall. There are several stalls selling various food option on one side and a big bar on the other. Running along the middle area are the tables. The layout was not appealing. It felt very cafeteria like and the vibe from the people working the counters was not open or inviting but rather more awkward. I feel like maybe if anybody had engaged us while looking at the menus or even just said hello, maybe we would have felt differently. We walked around to each stall to peruse the menu offerings and when we convened back together, everybody was in agreement that nothing seemed particularly appealing. The burger place and the cheesesteak place were the only two options that I would have ordered from had we decided to stay but I'm glad we decided to leave. While some menu options seemed okay, I wasn't thrilled with the prospect of paying upscale prices for what was clearly a mediocre experience at best. Obviously since I didn't actually try anything, I can't speak to the quality of the food. Based on my self-guided tour of the place, however, I am not a fan. If I am not interested in even ordering from here, then I won't bother coming back and certainly can't recommend it, which is a shame because I really wanted to like it. read more

I had the tacos from "Sweet Little Tacos" even though I ordered the beef tacos with nothing else, the food was fantastic, they gave me 3 limes, one for every taco and it added a tangy flavor. The service was amazing. My brother ordered from "The Flying Fish" and he said that the workers were so kind and polite while giving us the food. I saw the bartenders get up on the ladder to get drinks. Dangerous, but so cool to watch! The restaurant had an amazing vibe with all of the music and people. read more

The Good: The ambiance is nice, parking was sufficient, nice green space for kids to play. Solid bar with plenty of options. Good customer service. The baklava was really good. Definitely made offsite judging by the rest of the food served at that station. The Bad: Prices are kinda high for what you get. $14 for a gyro with no side is ridiculous The Ugly: The food is horrible! My wife had the Mexican and it was good. Kids had the pizza which resembled a cheap frozen pizza. I had the Mediterranean and it was the absolute worst gyro and rice I've ever had. Way too salty, the taziki sauce was gross and the side of rice was undercooked. Overpriced and nasty is a horrendous combination. Yuk read more

First off.....there are so many kids!!!! ....it's like Chucky Cheese! ...second the food is over priced and bland . The burger place was something you could get at a sidelines for half the cost. The beer selection wasn't bad but there were so many kids I felt weird ordering more than one drink. The wait staff at the gyro place that was there was terrible ... Arrived at 12 in the afternoon and was told by SHAWARMA SHACK that they were out of shrimp for the salad I order and wanted to charge me two more dollars for chicken.. as if them not having shrimp prepared was my fault. PRETTY LITTLE TACOS has an employee at their register bitting his nails and playing with this nose for the entire time I was there.. for context.. Huge bust. Bertolozzi Pizza is the ONE good option here, but they are likely leaving for greener pastures. Grossly overpriced mid food (expect for the Chicago pizza place), terrible parking, kids running wild. Gave a generous 3-stars for the ample amount of seating options (outdoors) and parking and food choices. We all had the chicken tacos at Pretty Little Tacos for lunch and they were very good. I'd caution against the spicy sauce - wow - way too hot for us. The place was virtually empty, but our food took 22 minutes. You have to get your own food but they don't have a buzzer or text system in place so you keep going up to see if your order is ready. It was noisy - had to sit in the back bar area due to industrial fans running. Can't imagine the noise level on a crowded day. No central menu system so you have to go to each food stall and read the menu over the heads of other people. The sushi place - which I was there for - wasn't open. I personally hate the kiosk ordering system - it really can slow the ordering process down if you're in the older group - so this is really a tavern geared to the young folks who love a no-frills, bar atmosphere. I like the concept here but, the execution is way off. Food halls are great but, need to have the space to house it. They don't have the space of Chattahoochee works or Halcyon so everything feels very tight inside. I think this place would be better if they took out the food stalls to create additional room and bars. Use the outside for food trucks. The weather in Atlanta is good for 8 months out of the year. Food truck pricing tends to be more of an affordable option as well. Found the service to be lacking at the food stalls. No one seems to be ready to take an order. Food service is incredibly slow. Order fast and order ahead if you wish to receive a meal within 30 minutes.

Went three times- Tried Taco and Asian restaurants- the food was good but very pricey. I paid $20 for a taco plate that doesn't come with a side. I was still hungry after. You get a lot more for your dollar on Canton Street and can get served at a table instead of cafeteria style. I was excited to try breakfast at a Thousand Hills, but the potato bowl was $18 after I added egg and sausage and tasted like frozen potato's tossed in the microwave which I'm pretty sure is what they did. There was no good seating on the evenings I went, because every room had kids running through and screaming. If they could make at least one area kid free I would consider trying again to just get a drink and listen to music. But all in all, it was high priced, noisy, and not an enjoyable atmosphere. read more
