Gyro Wrap

Multi eatery inside a big building. Lots of indoor outdoor space. Parking is available on front and much more in the back. I ordered a falafel bowl. It was good. Husband ordered a sub. It was huge and he split it be a friend. I would say leans more towards $$$ and not $$. I would try it again. So may different cuisines. Gelato is available too.

Do NOT eat at Shawarma Shack!!!!

I thought that people on Yelp were being dramatic about how bad this place is, and wanted to give it a chance, but I just had a horrific experience and don't want anyone else to go through the same trauma. I made the mistake of having lunch at Shawarama Shack and honestly never want to eat again. It's definitely a shack, but it should be re-named to Sha-nasty Shack. First off, there was only one employee working at the booth and she was extremely rude. She had an AirPod in and clearly had no interest in talking to customers (she didn't say a word to us while we ordered). ONE lady making all the food and also entering orders on the computer with the same dirty gloves on... My wife had the Chicken Kabab and was physically made sick from her meal after one bite because the chicken was undercooked. Like it was literally pink on the inside, but she unfortunately didn't see that until she had taken a bite. It also came with some watery hummus that had a really gross and sour flavor. She was scared to bring it up and ask for a remake because the employee was so nasty to us to begin with. I had the Lunch Special Chicken Wrap and tried my best to enjoy it but was honestly really scared to eat it, even with eating around the chicken. It also came with a sad excuse of Mediterranean fries. Just the most basic possible fries with some weird seasoning sprinkled on. To top it all off, the food was insanely priced. My wife spent $16 on a raw chicken strip. The whole meal was a massive waste of $33. It's honestly a shame that this restaurant is so terrible and makes me never want to come back to the Roswell Junction. This place was definitely a huge investment to build, but it seems that people have had terrible experiences at all of the restaurants inside. I would consider coming back and trying a different restaurant despite honestly being scared to. However, I would NEVER wish Shawarama Shack on my worst enemy.

I tried this place again, and it's just a bummer. Got tacos and it took soooo long. The lady told me 'the chef dropped your tacos on the ground', and then later 'he hasn't started them yet'. Everyone in line was upset. The lady in line said that she was waiting over 20 min for chips and queso and tried other restaurants there and they were just as bad, which unfortunately was my experience there as well. The only redeeming thing here is the live music. So if you go for the music, definitely eat before you get there. I wish someone would do something about how bad the quality is here................trust me-this is one to pass on

So I am a little late to the party lol. I finally visited Roswell Junction on a Wednesday afternoon. I was surprised to find the place kind of empty. Lucky for me as the parking lot only holds about 20 cars! I wanted to try Pretty Little tacos but there was only 1 employee there cooking and the other one was charging her phone. So yeah, I took my hard earned money elsewhere. I went to Across the Coast next door and asked about the gumbo lunch special. The guy said there's no gumbo today and he was trying to call the cook. Sir it's 4pm lol. Like what were yall serving earlier? Anywho that left me with Cleaver the burger place. The young lady was friendly and didn't give me a hard time for ordering the lunch special at 4:04pm. The lunch specials run from 11am-4pm. The special is a burger, fries and drink for $15. Not bad ! I don't know if I was just hungry or if the burger was just that good but I devoured it! It was fresh and made with love. The fries are okay.. similar to Checkers fries but less crispness and seasoning. I will definitely go back... just for the burger. It's kinda sad that this place has potential to be great but will it? Maybe change out a few restaurants and/or signs where the additional parking is, samples, etc? The food hall is definitely family friendly and could be amazing for families but something is missing. Nonetheless I will be back

Sad to see negative reviews of Roswell Junction but I had a great experience on my first visit. There are 7-8 Resturant options, 2 indoor bars and a cute outdoor bar. Lots of indoor and outdoor first come, first serve seating options, a small arcade room, performance stage. Free parking(Be sure to look for parking in the rear of the building) and valet is offered as well. We chose to Across the Coast Seafood and enjoyed a Salmon Ceasar Wrap and Fish & Chips. Service here was great at both Across the Coast and at the Bar. Roswell Junction is a nice add to Roswell. It's a clean, casual space. Will definitely return and try some of the other food options and just hang out.

Pretty Little Tacos, so amazing!

I had the tacos from "Sweet Little Tacos" even though I ordered the beef tacos with nothing else, the food was fantastic, they gave me 3 limes, one for every taco and it added a tangy flavor. The service was amazing. My brother ordered from "The Flying Fish" and he said that the workers were so kind and polite while giving us the food. I saw the bartenders get up on the ladder to get drinks. Dangerous, but so cool to watch! The restaurant had an amazing vibe with all of the music and people.

It never really got busy but they had only been open for a little while back then. It was a cool find! Interesting to say the least... but I am still surprised about the food. After sitting for 25 minutes with no greeting, we stopped the hostess to ask if we could order. She seemed surprised that no one had helped us and came back about five minutes later to take our full order. It took 45 minutes after being seated to finally get our drinks. The excuse? "No clean wine glasses." At that point, I would have gladly taken my wine in any clean glass they had. The only reason we stayed was because the band was genuinely good. Meanwhile, the food runner wandered from table to table "auctioning off" dishes because he clearly didn't know where anything belonged. When our food arrived, it actually tasted good - but the service issues overshadowed everything. After we finished eating, our server disappeared again. We eventually had to get up and find her just to get our checks. Part of our friends' order ended up on our bill, but we didn't bother waiting for her to correct it. To top it off, there was a random 3% service charge (for what?) and an automatic 20% gratuity added because there was a band. Not cool, especially given the terrible service. The entire restaurant felt unprepared and overwhelmed, and no one ever apologized for the extremely long waits. Will I go back? Probably not. The prices are far too high for the level of service we received.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was incredible. The atmosphere and décor immediately stand out the entire place is filled with guitars and music memorabilia that reflect the owner's personal love for music. It gives the restaurant a really unique and authentic vibe that you don't see everywhere. What made it even more special was hearing the story behind the location. We had the pleasure of meeting April, who shared the history of Rock N Taco with us. She explained how the owner used to bike through that part of town as a kid, and when the space later became available, he chose it for the second location. Knowing that story makes the place feel even more meaningful you can tell it was built with heart and passion. The service was exceptional. Our server, Savanna, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. In fact, every staff member we encountered made us feel invited and appreciated the moment we stepped inside. The food absolutely delivered as well. I ordered the taco salad and my husband ordered tacos, and we both loved our meals. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. What stood out most, though, was how kind and accommodating the staff were to our family. We were traveling with both an infant and a toddler, and they made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. They even surprised us with a special treat on the house before we left, which was such a thoughtful touch. It's easy to see that while the food is fantastic, Rock N Taco understands that people go out for the full experience atmosphere, hospitality, and feeling welcomed and they absolutely nailed it. If you're in Roswell, do not skip Rock N Taco. It's not just a late-night spot; it's also the perfect place to stop during the day for a great meal or while passing through on a road trip. We'll definitely be stopping again the next time we're in town. Thank you - Tom, Alysia and family.

We started with the pimento cheese dip and were both surprised to find that it was served hot along with several pieces of soft, warm bread. It was SO good and a nice change from the way that most other restaurants serve their pimento cheese. Even hubby loved it and he is usually not a fan of cheese. For my main, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is THE BEST MEAL I have had in a really long time. Total comfort food that hit all the right spots on this chilly afternoon. The cheese on the sandwich was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the tomato soup was perfection. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. It was delicious and I will be back for more soon. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had. He is hard to please, so between the pimento and sandwich, 1920 achieved the improbable in impressing hubby. Service was impeccable. The main reason we had not come back in a while is because it is a small space and can feel pretty congested when it fills up, which is not the most comfortable. We don't like feeling crowded, but after today's visit, we decided that the limited space is a small price to pay for amazing food and service, so we will undoubtedly return soon. Perhaps we will try sitting outside instead when the weather cooperates. Big thanks to 1920 for starting our new year off on the right foot!

We were aiming for a puppet show last weekend but landed on a science show this weekend and I'm so glad we did! We got to see "Noreen the Science Queen" and engage in a live show with her. Not only was she amazing, but it was so wonderful to expose our girls to a woman in STEM and, more special for them, a Black woman in STEM. After the show, Noreen the Science Queen greeted the attendees in the lobby. She was open for pictures, and was selling both science kits for at home experiments and copies of her book. I attended a musical performance of the group Abilene on a Saturday night. I truly enjoyed everything about the experience. First, the theater is relatively small, and most seats are not too far from the stage. I had lucked out and was able to purchase a seat in the front row, which is 10 to 15 feet away from the stage. The performance by Abilene was simply spectacular. They describe themselves as a neo classical ensemble. I love the way they took some classical pieces by composers, such as Bach in Vivaldi, deconstructed them, reconstructed them, and made them their own. The peace, entitled Cascades was probably my favorite. It was inspired by the mountain range in the Pacific Northwest. The passionate playing near the end by both the cellist and the violinist was extraordinary. I also love the way they created a peaceful environment during their performance. They had a fog machine or smoke machine, as well as different colored lights used with each song. I also appreciated having David Crowe, the cultural arts coordinator, introduce the group, as well as tell us a little bit about the upcoming performances. While the tickets for next season don't go on sale until May, I'm ready to purchase tickets for more shows in 2023 and into 2024. Cheers

I had an idea of what this place, but wasn't exactly sure what it all entailed. We walked in and were greeted by a large shelf or should I say shelves of a bunch of different board and card games. We walked to the register and told them we wanted to play some board/card games. I believe it was $7 per hour and then $35 for everything else. Everything else means all the video/electronic games. Think PS5, Switch, PC, Xbox. It was sooooo cool seeing everyone play all the different games. There were bigger groups, couples, people by themselves. It's truly a place where anyone can go and have a good time! We got some drinks (they have a really cool cocktail menu). They do have a food menu too, but we just came from dinner, so we only got drinks. Our service wasn't the best though. It took forever for someone to come and check on us, and no one came to fill our water the entire time we were there. Service could definitely be a lot better! Battle & Brew is in a shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. It's also pretty big too, so there is plenty of seating inside. I would definitely come back here in the future and play some of the video games, as I love to play some Nintendo Switch!

I came here on a work trip so there was a LOT going on: food buffets, bar mania, games of all sorts. Had I come here with a group of friends to play games and sip on a drink I think I would have had a different (read: better) experience. That said, I appreciate that B&B exists and what it's trying to do. Despite being here as part of a big group, the staff was perfectly lovely and patient. That's not always the case when it comes to dealing with large groups. The food menu is confusingly large and caters to about every taste.* I got a little grossed out at the thought of eating around so much dust. Board games and consoles are dirty/dusty. They show both easily. Eating around/in that didn't appeal to me. What *did* appeal to me, though, was the thought of drinking a potion. From the glass (straight up D&D) to the color (blue), I was all in. The Mana Potion had a lot of the right elements (gin, blue curacao, elderflower liqueur, lemon, and Sprite) but the extra zhuzh for our party was team too much. The edible glitter made the drink a bit thick and didn't do wonders for my stomach. It's a tough criticism because I was here for an extra sparkly drink/potion. Definitely on brand. For me, Battle & Brew is an odd space that could benefit from some editing. But, it looks like I am in the minority. I can agree with not being the target audience. So, gamers, have at it! *I didn't experience much in the way of GF/DF/VG options but, again, target audience.
