I've loved every Moxie Burger location I've been to, and this Roswell spot is no exception. It's tucked into a really charming little enclave and is cute both inside and out. The interior has a great view that almost feels like you're overlooking the woods. Ordering is simple. You order, pay, grab a seat, and they bring the food out. We stick to what we know and always get The Moxie and The Bleu Ribbon, plus a side of sweet potato fries. As usual, everything was delicious, though the buns were a little less fresh than they normally are. The pimento on The Moxie is excellent, and the sweet potato fries are literally some of the best anywhere, especially with the chipotle mayo. Service is friendly and efficient. The lemonade is fine, nothing special, but that's not really why I come here. Moxie is consistent, reliable, and one of those places that rarely disappoints. read more

We decided to try out the Roswell location this time. Shame on me. Forgot to take a photo, but I always order the same thing.... Rise n shine (turkey) burger. This time on a lettuce bed either some fries to share with the table. The location is very cute. There's a little more indoor seating than the Paper Mill location too. The inside has a nice line of windows too (it was cold outside when we went, so I didn't check out the patio). When we arrived, it was on the early side for dinner (5pm-ish). We had our pick of tables in the restaurant. When we left, it was hopping busy. Final take - on a nice day - I like the paper mill location. It' has a smaller footprint and plenty of parking. If I'm crazing their burgers on a blustery day - I'd probably come back to the Roswell one. read more

Good food at a good price. Both lamb burger and fried chicken burger were great. They didn't stand out in uniqueness but they didn't need to. This isn't that type of place. I like the vibe of this place. This is a great place to get some burgers, brews, and chill with friends. We kind of stayed for a long time with 6 people and never felt rushed to leave or anything. We sat outside under the heated patio with two dogs. Not everything was a hit though. The cheese fritters and sweet potato fries tasted exactly what I expected. They were ok but I wouldn't order them again. I really enjoyed the zucchini fries and chili fries though. The alcohol makes food taste better too. Would I come here again? Sure. Bravo! As a pescatarian I got the black bean veggie burger, loaded with all kinds of veggies, some cheese, and healthy sauces and it was delicious! I didn't feel like I was missing out with a bland veggie burger. Price point was good too, pre extortion (tax) it was less than $10 all in. Their build your own concept is nice, and the pricing on the toppings is fair. Most are free, with a small $1 upcharge for cheese. The diversity in sauces is great too. It filled me up! I would have 5 starred this place if they used a healthier frying method. I was told they use soybean oil for their fries. I would have loved to try them if they fried with tallow, avocado oil, or olive oil. The toxic, inflammatory oils are a no-go for me. I feel like crap after eating them. Canola (the worst), soybean, peanut, corn, and grapeseed oils are oils I avoid. The veggie burger was awesome though, I'll be back for that! read more

First impressions are important, and Moxie Burger made a good one. There is a new z moxie opening soon near us in Kennesaw, so we decided to do a taste test in Roswell. I am now super excited for the one near us to open! This is a fast casual restaurant with a relaxed vibe. We ordered at the counter and then a server brought our food to us. Since it wasn't too hot we chose to sit on the outdoor deck. Nice atmosphere! My husband ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on ciabatta with sweet potato fries. I built my own salad. I added the black bean burger as my protein in order to try it. I also got an order of zucchini fries. Everything was fresh and delicious. Portion sizes were healthy, so we had some leftovers to take home. I have a feeling that when the Moxie burger in Kennesaw opens that we will be regular customers! read more

Great place for a casual burger and salad. We loved eating on their outdoor patio after kayaking on the Chattahoochee River. Even on a hot day, they have ceiling fans to keep it from being too stuffy. You order at the bar and they bring the food to your table. We loved the goat cheese and strawberries salad and turkey burger was also good. Loved the 50/50 combo of sweet potato fries and fried pickles. All the sauces for everything came on the side, which I appreciated. Will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again. read more

This was a great place to grab a quick vegetarian bite I ordered the portobello burger (which can be ordered with a black bean veggie patty). I also had a hankering for fried green tomatoes & this place definitely ate! I mean the eats were so delicious, I also ate. I will say those puppies are not vegetarian as the come with real bacon bits and feta. I threw one on my burger and it was a good addition. Service is friendly and quick. I like the casual ambiance that accommodates a first date, friends catching up, or just getting out for some sun. We came here on a Saturday night with a party of 8. I parked on the south side of the restaurant and it was completely empty. But when we got inside the restaurant was packed and there was a decent sized line. Turns out there is parking lot on the other side of the building that most people park in. The south side entrance puts you right in line however, so I loved it! It took about 5 minutes to get to the front of the line and when ordered and got our number. The tables are first come, first served, and we were lucky to find one right away. The turnover is pretty quick and they have an outdoor covered patio area as well with lots of seating. I got the patty melt and the goat cheese fritters. The patty melt was great and the Texas toast was a unique bun for this sandwich. The cheese fritters were average and I ended up only having a few as it was hard to eat too many, it just felt heavy. This is a great family restaurant and atmosphere if you are in the area. read more

Great burgers at a great location! My friend and I had lunch here after our hike at Vickery Creek. The beef was perfectly cooked: medium rare (the only way to eat a burger)! I got The Heater because I thought it was gonna be spicy but it wasn't at all, which was disappointing. We stopped by here after a stroll around the river. There is a private lot parking. They have inside dining, outdoor dining (covered and opened) and we were able to bring our pup with us. You just walk straight up to the counter and order your food. They have plenty of drink options and food options. We all opted for a burger. You can build your own and also they have their signature burgers. Hubs got the heater and I got the entrepreneur (byo) along with some sweet potato fries. The burger was nicely cooked and I enjoyed the toppings they put on (lettuce tomatoes, pickles and fresh jalapeños). The sweet potato fries were lightly sweet and crispy and the sauce that came with it was great! It was a nice atmosphere to grab a beer and a burger. We enjoyed the covered patio to ourselves. Have been ordering take out for two years. Started out great and something changed about 8 months ago. Orders wrong, anemic toppings, etc. Reached out to restaurant and spoke with manager to give feedback, nothing has changed. Today's order came with the smallest piece of avacado I almost missed it. Dare I say that I found a solid burger spot? One of my favorite foods is the burger, and I have to say... this place holds its own for me. After a short walk around Vickery Creek, our group settled on coming here for lunch since they recommended that they liked this place. So, we walked up the hill and I was pretty happy that they had plenty of outdoor seating. The menu inside is fairly customizable giving you the option to have your burger however you want it. I didn't create my own burger this time, but I could see myself creating my own burger the next time I'm here. The rise and shine was great, the flavors were there and you can never go wrong with a fried egg that oozes out when you bite into it. The only problem (and this is just my opinion) is that when you eat an egg and that yolk gets everywhere, it sort of forces you to have to eat it quickly or all of the yolk just oozes out. I also shared chili fries, which were amazing. I wished, oh I so wished that I could find a place where there was a solid chili tater tots or something like loaded tater tots. But, sadly we had to settle on the chili fries which wasn't bad! I enjoyed it. The other couple that was with us ordered fries, which was very abundant. So if you order fries with the burger, I don't think you'll need to order another side of fries or zucchini fries or whatever fries. Overall, I will definitely be coming back to Moxie burger, because how close it's to vickery creek and I have yet to walk all the trails there and also that the burger spot is solid. I want to have a beer and a good burger, and this is the first place where I can say that satisfies it. I just hope that the quality remains high and this place stays open and hopefully opens another location where I live! read more

Yes, it is a burger place but full disclosure, I stopped in for the onion rings. More on that later. I stopped in at 2:15ish on a Friday... there were some patrons in the restaurant but I feel I missed the lunch rush. I was somewhat confused on the flow of the restaurant. I embarrassingly spoke to the server about a table for 1 and he motioned me to the counter and said " yeah, I will take your order at the counter and then you can have a seat". I appreciated his patience. As I left, I went back to the door I entered to exit and I looked closely to see if there where directions. There were but the signs were not in alignment with the entrance and there were wooden boxes on the wall that I then realized were for menus but they were empty. I ordered a cheeseburger and some onion rings. My receipt said "onion straws" so I was expecting prefabbed crunchy chopped onions. When my plate appeared, it was full of thin rings of fried loveliness. My favorite! I did request the burger to be cooked as rare as you will serve it and the receipt indicated rare. My burger was on the last degree of medium rare... like I hunted for some pink. I am not sure what the temperature chart of Moxie Burger is. The lettuce, tomato, and red onion (another win) where fresh and sliced to compliment the nicely warmed bun. read more

Dined here for lunch on a weekday with my family. Parking is limited, but overflow parking is available in the back of the shopping center. The restaurant was fairly busy. Moxie Burger is a counter-service restaurant. You order at the counter, they hand you a number and deliver the food to your table. We sat outside on the large patio. Half of it is covered and complete with fans and flat screen TVs. I ordered the moxie $8.49 and half sweet potato & half regular fries $5.49. The moxie is a 6 oz. certified Angus beef, topped with a fried green tomato, pimento cheese, bacon, and moxie sauce. I chose whole wheat bun. Medium well. The burger was more than satisfying. Everybody enjoyed their burgers and ate every bit of it. Service and food were great all around. Our orders arrived in a timely manner and just as described. Would definitely return. read more

Very hip and urban spot in Roswell. Loved the location overlooking the Old Mill park. We went walking and then ate. Very dog and family friendly with lots of pets and kids running around. They have a nice selection of wines and craft beers and plenty of options to customize your burger. They have chicken, turkey, and vegetarian options as well. I had the Moxie burger and Moxie fries, you can't go wrong with a signature dish. It was cooked as ordered and very good. The Moxie burger comes with a fried green tomato and pimento cheese on it. Other members of our party had salads, the vegetarian burger, and other custom burgers with bacon and fried jalapenos. I only gave 2 stars because the young lady at the counter taking the order was very nice. The tables were dirty and the drink station was also dirty. No tops for drinks and the lemonade tasted like water. The burgers had no flavor. Just a chunk of beef with toppings. Not a drop of seasoning. However they are cooked in grease so ..lol. this truthfully only seemed to be as I was getting to the end of them as well. I had the most delicious Turkey burger here for lunch. It was moist and tasty. The ambiance was cool and comfortable. Moxie burger is a frequent stop of mine and I have enjoyed the food every time. Their sweet potato fries with the Moxie sauce is the way to go! As far as burgers go, no one I know has ever had anything bad to say. I always get the Moxie (pictured below). The workers are always friendly and helpful. Today was National Burger Day so we thought we'd try something new that we hadn't tried before. Call in ordering was easy and we were excited to try our burgers for pickup. Upon getting to the restaurant the server immediately came outside and brought me my order as they knew the car. We ordered 2 beef burgers, 1 turkey burger, broccoli salad and fries/onion straw combo. The beef burgers were decent but didn't have much flavor, same with the turkey burger. The broccoli salad was actually very tasty and had quite a few different ingredients in it. They also gave us an extra burger and charged us for it. Came here for lunch with a friend a few weeks ago. Found it through google since it was so highly rated. 1. Food -Moxie Burger - 6 oz beef burger with fried green tomato, pimento cheese, and moxie sauce. I replaced the pimento cheese for Swiss cheese. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was cooked well done. No worries there though, rather it be overdone than underdone. The burger was above average I'd say. -zucchini fries- delicious, these are an absolute must -onion rings 2. Service The woman at the front was very friendly and helped me decide what I wanted to get since I had never been before. They have a wide selection of options and you can only build your own burger with whatever toppings you fancy. 3. Ambiance/environment It has a rustic vibe. They have an outside patio as well which is nice. You order at the front counter and take a number to put on your table. Once the food is ready they bring it out to you. 4. Prices Prices are fair. 5.
