My girlfriend and I were in the area and wanted to try a new restaurant to us. I saw some reviews about The Mill Kitchen and suggested we meetup there. We chose to sit on the patio since the weather was mild and we enjoyed prop-watching. Our server was kind and suggested we start with the fried green tomatoes and they were really tasty. We also ordered the pork chop and I so happy it was cooked perfectly and so juicy. I also think the potato salad and asparagus served with it was a great pairing. We will return soon to try brunch.

Came here with a party of 6 for my best friend's birthday dinner. I was really excited about this menu. I almost never peek at the menu if I have never been to a restaurant. I peeked. My wife got a tagliatelle pasta that was a combination of cacio e pepe and blue crab meat. Looked delicious but my wife said it lacked flavor. I had the exact opposite experience. I couldn't resist the description of the dish I ordered. Let's just say I talked about kimchi potatoes and pea tendrils most of the appetizer course. Here is the full description: Kimchi roasted potatoes, garlic spinach, cucumber, bourbonyaki vinaigrette, wasabi-lime aioli, pea tendrils. I am almost never surprised by much but the combinations made no sense to me, so of course I ordered it. This was a FANSTASTIC dish! Everything crusted seared tuna with (yes) kimchi potatoes with braised greens with a sauce that was bursting with acid. Epic flavor combinations and so incredibly unique. 10 stars for this dish. Our waiters were so attentive. We were there to celebrate, and we lingered. Our service was unrushed and we really appreciated that! Fantastic evening!

Great place! We ate in this cutest Christmas pop up tent all decorated with lights! We had the trout and the short rib. Large portions and delicious! Well presented. Great service. Our waiter helped me with a wine pairing to go with trout. They have heaters in the tent which actually got a little too hot. Very pretty Roswell square across the street all lit up with Christmas lights. A fun Christmas date!

Location and the esthetics are lovely. The staff was off the charts kind! Matt has selected his team wisely as they all worked hard to provide a wonderful service. Most importantly, the food was phenomenal!

Great food and service! Cute restaurant, very homey inside. They have really good desserts too!

Went there this week. I have been several times, but never for lunch. Dinners have always been satisfying. I'd also attended a wonderful rehearsal done of the year for about 30 people and it was wonderful. Lunch, not so much. This photo is of the Mill Cobb I ordered less the tomatoes. Four little squares of avocado, maybe an eighth of an ounce of bacon and very small. My guest got her entrée salad before the soup. She had to ask for the soup and eat it at the same time. As you can tell, on my salad, the cucumbers had clearly been frozen prior to serving. Won't be going back anytime soon. I was embarrassed, cause I raved about this place to my guest.

We visited on a Friday night, and parking was strictly valet. I asked the attendant to confirm, and he did. Unless there's a secret entrance in the back (which we weren't told about), we had to park in the rear lot and walk all the way around to the front entrance. I wouldn't have minded on a nice spring day, but this was winter with an ice storm approaching, so not ideal. Once inside and seated, we were handed quite a stack: a weekend dinner specials sheet, a Roswell Restaurant Week menu, a bourbon list, a cocktail menu, and the regular dinner menu. It was a bit overwhelming, and I had to ask the server to come back later so we could actually look everything over. We started with the blackened brie, a "bubbly" flight for my wife, and an Old Fashioned for me. The brie was very good, especially the bread it was served with. We later learned the bread comes from a nearby bakery, which we'll definitely be checking out. For entrées, I ordered the pork chop and my wife had the blackened salmon. Both dishes were well prepared and enjoyable. Service overall was good. My main issue was the noise level. It started out pleasant, but by the end of the meal it had become difficult to carry on a normal conversation. Overall, while the food and service were good, the restaurant felt a bit pricey for what it offers. In my opinion, prices would feel more appropriate if they were about 10-15% lower.

Cute atmosphere and had huge expectations entering the restaurant but unfortunately the food is lacking. Sure everything looks great and all but the taste needed more oomph. The brie is huge shareable but too much for the price imo I love the honey pecans on the side. Steak is mediocre. Definitely the ambiance of the place is pretty. Pleasant server.

The food was also incredibly good and the bar even took the steps to serve modified Old Fashioneds (no simple syrup). However, their customer service ahead of and at the end of the wedding (and even how they treat their staff) was well below expectations. And as you will see in their response below, they continue to argue with customers (and in this case their guests after the fact). It's quite surprising to see a vendor argue with someone in a public place. A bit about my background, I led a $2B business selling to a major retailer - and in my career, I never argued back with that customer because it seemed dumb to argue with folks keeping us in business. So, the response below (and now in a picture) is shocking to see on a $30k+ per transaction business. It also seems to imply that 'pushy attitude' is written in their contract and they will not flex from what's in the contract. Example, the venue had no booking during the day and so opening early, seemed possible [maybe they bill for 1-2 people to be there from the venue itself?]. Their actions and sometimes lack of - led to a higher than expected stress level for the bride and family. All of these things seem easy to remedy on their part. However, if you decide to get married here - it seems critical to have everything you expect of them spelled out in the contract (down to requiring the demeanor of the management to be polite, consistent, and responsive). As I understand it, many commitments were made by the venue ahead of the big day - only to be told over email at 1 AM, two nights before, were not included. This is after leading up to the event never being able to have a consistent contact person - perhaps, requiring the event sales rep to give their cell # to customers is a good idea? One example, was saying last minute they would not provide vases for the flowers on tables. In a last stitch effort, vases were rented from the florist. Day of, the venue was insistent that those coming to decorate could not be in Ivy Hall any sooner than 4pm for a 6pm start. At the end of the night, the staff quickly broke down the tables and expected those of us packing up the gifts, vases, flowers, signs, etc to be extremely quick. Amidst that chaos, there were candles and plastic domes around them sitting next to other things that were the wedding party's. We started packing the white candles and the manager came over and said "Those aren't yours! And great, you messed them up!" She then proceeded to chastise the bar tender for not paying attention to us stealing things. Why would we want 10-20 used candles? And, my girlfriend overheard them loudly say 'we're trying to get them out of the bridal suite' - when they were packing up the bride's things. As an aside, it takes me back a little to have the management call the bride's family "vendors" in her response (see picture) as we were the ones setting up and taking down decorations. Great venue, good food, bad service. A well spelled out contract defining your (not just theirs as the management states in their comment) expectations is a must-have if you do a wedding or other event at Ivy Hall. You only get one wedding, venues do many of them - might consider elsewhere if you are seeking guidance from the venue's experts throughout this once in a lifetime event for you.

She called three times and left messages with no response until a few days before leaving a nasty message that if she didn't pay they were going to cancel the reservation. We got there and as usual it was super cute inside. The people that worked there were all friendly and nice. I was really looking forward to the tea. I forget the name but it's there most popular according to their menu. In 2021 it was a dark red and delicious!! This time it was a medium pink. It tasted very watered down. The sandwiches-smoked salmon with cream cheese on bread. I wonder how many people actually eat that? We tossed it. The pimento cheese was good but served on a nutty brown bread-not the bread for pimento cheese. The curried chicken salad, not good at all. We didn't eat it. The egg salad had zero flavor. It was like plain eggs and mayo. Not even a tad a salt. The same with the cucumber sandwiches. Zero flavor. It just tasted like cream cheese. The lemon curd and jam for the scones was delicious. The scone, fairly average at best. The desserts, we didn't eat them. I'm very sad I'm leaving this review. I wonder if the owner is different or if they are having financial troubles and cutting costs. My niece wanted to take me there as a thank you for helping her and I steered her away due to the price and experience not being in line. Just a side note, I overheard someone that walked in ask if they could be seated as they had been calling for several days and no one would call them back. Seems to be a theme. I hope they get heir act together because sooner or later people will stop showing up.
