The atmosphere is so cozy - the staff and waiter's are amazing. Definitely bringing my gang here soon! We went Sunday around 2pm. I can only imagine their night time atmosphere.

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the hostess, plus a very inviting bar behind the stand. Prior to coming, we needed to change our reservation and they were happily able to accommodate. It was everyone's first time here, so the server explained how their menu works and what are the popular dishes. We started with the seasonal Thai salad, Smokey cabbage and pork belly. Our server put in the incorrect order, instead of the pork belly, she put in the chive fries, but she happily comped this due to error. Out of all the apps we tried, my favorite was the salad and actually the chive fries. Salad was fresh with corn, tomatoes, snow peas and the dressing was nicely salty and a bit spicy. The chive fries are reminiscent of chive pancake but cut in long strips, shaped like fries, though I found the sauce it came with too sweet. For our main entree, we all shared the chicken satay (my personal favorite and that satay sauce was to die for), crab fried rice (flavorful but found the old bay seasoning a bit too overpowering), whole market fish was trout that night (loved this was topped with a fresh salad) and crying thaiger (I didn't eat the steak but the grilled okra and the sauces were delicious). All of the entrees came with jasmine rice, but there's an option to get sticky rice and garlic rice for extra fee. I thought this was a good meal and our server was great. We found service to be a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. It got better towards the end of the night as people were leaving. They also gave free dessert as someone in our party was celebrating their birthday.

10/10 -- An Experience We Won't Forget!…read more What started as a completely random, spur-of-the-moment stop at Canton St Social turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, our hosts Lay and Katlyn were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They immediately made us feel comfortable and set the tone for the entire evening. I even asked for something that wasn't on the dinner menu -- crème brûlée -- and instead of simply telling me it wasn't available, they made it happen! That level of service says a lot. But I have to give a special shout-out to Tony and Amelia. These two absolutely made our night. Tony made some of the most amazing drinks, and every cocktail came with a little bit of a show and personality. He wasn't just making drinks -- he was creating an experience. Amelia was just as impressive. She had great knowledge of the menu, but what really stood out was her personality and conversation. She was personable, funny, engaging, and genuinely made us feel welcome. By the end of the night, you would have thought we were old high school friends sitting around catching up after not seeing each other for years. That's what separates good service from a truly memorable experience. The food and drinks can bring you through the door, but the people are what make you want to come back. Lay, Katlyn, Tony, and Amelia -- thank you for turning an unexpected night out into something special. Excellent food. Amazing drinks. Outstanding service. Even better people. We will DEFINITELY be back very soon! Will the GM!!

Because the groups were large and each had a different theme, Bey was able to prepare offerings that catered to each theme. The luncheon was all mezes, small plates that aren't all that small, and it was specifically halal to cater to the diversity of the group. The Christmas meal was mezes with platters of chicken skewers and beef skewers and then filets. We weren't concerned with halal meats but I am sure that they were. It's easier to default to it. It was all done beautifully - flavourful, feeding the eye and the soul. The restaurant is nicely appointed and yet intimate. Service was great. I definitely plan to take my beau there for a date. I ordered the ruby red mocktail, and we shared a few dishes: - feta cheese cigars (I loved these) - sambousek (my husband loved these) - fried chicken milanese (not my favorite, but the fries were really good) - halawa chocolate cake (AMAZING - it was served with Turkish cotton candy, which was so fun and good) Our server was newer, but very nice and attentive. He pointed out the owner to us, as well, who was bringing out dishes to tables and was very involved.

We decided to try a number of different Spain inspired high quality tapas. The tortilla Española was a classic take on a traditional favorite. The Albondigas were my favorite and even better than the ones I've had in Madrid. For a small charge, they include bread that is paired perfectly with the savory tomato sauce accompanying the meatballs. The dining area feels intimate and artistic, and they also offer patio seating, which is perfect as we approach southern summer nights. If you're looking for wine pairing to accompany your tapas, they offer an extensive list of wines from Spain, as well as parts of South America. We will definitely return and bring our family next time, and we would highly recommend you try Silla del Toro in Roswell. Salud
