During our travels through Roswell, Georgia, we made a stop at Rock N Taco, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the experience was incredible. The atmosphere and décor immediately stand out the entire place is filled with guitars and music memorabilia that reflect the owner's personal love for music. It gives the restaurant a really unique and authentic vibe that you don't see everywhere. What made it even more special was hearing the story behind the location. We had the pleasure of meeting April, who shared the history of Rock N Taco with us. She explained how the owner used to bike through that part of town as a kid, and when the space later became available, he chose it for the second location. Knowing that story makes the place feel even more meaningful you can tell it was built with heart and passion. The service was exceptional. Our server, Savanna, was wonderful friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. In fact, every staff member we encountered made us feel invited and appreciated the moment we stepped inside. The food absolutely delivered as well. I ordered the taco salad and my husband ordered tacos, and we both loved our meals. Everything was fresh, full of flavor, and perfectly prepared. What stood out most, though, was how kind and accommodating the staff were to our family. We were traveling with both an infant and a toddler, and they made sure we were comfortable and taken care of the entire time. They even surprised us with a special treat on the house before we left, which was such a thoughtful touch. It's easy to see that while the food is fantastic, Rock N Taco understands that people go out for the full experience atmosphere, hospitality, and feeling welcomed and they absolutely nailed it. If you're in Roswell, do not skip Rock N Taco. It's not just a late-night spot; it's also the perfect place to stop during the day for a great meal or while passing through on a road trip. After all this time, showing up with my son dancing and enjoying the rock and roll Management decided we are not welcome anymore. A feminist manager decided we are too much for her. The chips arrived so greasy I briefly considered checking my cholesterol before ordering dinner. The margaritas were forgettable and showed up with nothing on the rim. Salt? Tajín? A little effort? Apparently not. Our finished plates sat on the table for so long they started feeling like additional dinner guests. The guacamole looked like a first-round draft pick and tasted like it got cut during training camp. It had all the visual promise in the world, but the flavor suggested either overripe avocados or yesterday's leftovers wearing a fake mustache. The jalapeño poppers deserve special recognition. These weren't just an appetizer. They were a dare. I like spicy food and rarely complain about heat, but these things were weaponized. They seemed harmless at first, but the next morning you'll find yourself reflecting on every decision that led you to that moment. Let's just say your digestive system remembers them long after your taste buds have moved on. The tacos were aggressively average. My food arrived lukewarm, the buffalo sauce had all the heat of a Hallmark card, and the lettuce tasted like it had just completed a few laps in a swimming pool then stored in plastic. The highlight of the evening was Music Bingo, which was genuinely fun and probably responsible for keeping my overall rating higher than the food deserved. If you're looking for a place to watch sports, have drinks, laugh with friends, and enjoy the atmosphere, you'll probably have a great time. Me and a friend came here on Fourth of July. We were sat right in front of the brig screen which mad did hade to watch since the chairs were not in its direction but there were tvs to watch. Kinda awkward placement as well felt like everyone was looking at us even though it was just at the TV. Our waitress is really kind. We took forever to figure out what we wanted to eat, and she kept coming back to check on us. The food was decent for what it was wouldn't say this is 100% authentic or what you would get at someone's Abuela's house but it was decent enough. I really love the fry on the fries. Large Group Review We came here, as walk-ins, during a break between soccer games. We had 10 VERY hungry boys who needed food and 7 adults who needed sanity. The staff was beyond amazing! They took care of everyone and made sure drinks stayed filled. They made recommendations and did not freakout when the boys shifted seats. I had a salad which was super tasty. My son had a burrito and he said it tasted good, but nothing to brag about. Again, large group so I was just glad the food came out and we were not missing anything. read more

Rock N Taco is always fun for music bingo on Tuesdays at 7:30. It's really good music and always a good atmosphere. The food is pretty good; we specifically love their carne asada tacos with the Taco Tuesday deal ($10 for 2 tacos or $15 for 3 tacos and includes rice and beans). They have a skinny margarita deal on Tuesdays as well. The service is pretty good, but they seem to have a pretty consistent turnover of staff, so they don't always know how everything works with the specials. OK, so we went here for lunch. About 12 o'clock on a Monday. It was super dead as in we were the only ones there. We got the salsa and tacos. The tacos can be mixed a match and they come with rice and beans. I got the mahi-mahi taco and the Barbacoa taco. The mafia was super fishy and I really just couldn't eat it. The Barbacoa was good but very greasy. Service was good that we were the only ones there. I believe the manager stopped by to check on us, which is always a nice touch. I was impressed with how tasty everything was and the excellent table service. I enjoyed the performance from the dining area, but there are two large bars with ample space for dancing. Somehow lucked out with a high-top table by the bar--major win because this place is huge and still wall-to-wall with people. It was Saturday, but plenty of games were on the TVs. Despite the crowd, service was on point. The bartender came to our table to take our food order, which was impressive given how busy it was. Big points for that! Okay, so the food...lobster tacos were decent, but the nachos were the star. Def shareable, too, as I keep picking off of my boyfriend's plate/tray and he was still full afterwards. Prices were super reasonable, AND a live band was setting up as we were leaving. Have not been here since they changed their menu and took off a few of my favorites and ruined a few others. I'm here for a work dinner tonight... The three dips and chips they brought out were good! Chips are perfect, salsa was good, and the cheese was good... I don't eat guac but others say it is good. The place was a pretty slow for downtown Roswell, but the weather was cold and it was early. They had one server working our group of 18 people. He did the best he could but he just could not keep drinks straight or the food orders. Nice guy just over whelmed. The food was good! I had the lobster and the shrimp tacos and honestly they were exceptional. I think everyone's selection came out good... I heard no complaints. I was pleasantly surprised. So I was hesitant to return here as hubby and I had tried it when we first moved to the area and it wasn't great. To be fair, it wasn't terrible, but it was just kind of blah and not memorable enough to warrant a repeat. We saw that it shut down for a while and heard through the grapevine that there had been some changes in ownership. It took us a good while after it reopened to give it a go and honestly, we only did so because we tried to go to Lola's but they didn't have my favorite dish onhand, which made us step out and try our luck at Rock N Taco. I have to say, I am glad Lola's was not on point that day because our visit to Rock N Taco turned out to be pretty good. We started with the salsa trio and queso. I thought the salsas were okay but my husband was not a fan of any. He thought all of them were too spicy. He is a bit sensitive to spice, though. I ordered two tacos, for which I selected the buffalo chicken and the cluck. Both were good but the buffalo chicken was honestly so fire that I wished I had ordered two of those instead. Hubby ordered the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which was decent for me with the bite I took but again, he found it too spicy. He only ordered it because he wasn't that hungry and knew I wanted to try it, so he just ended up eating the rice and beans that came with my tacos, which he enjoyed. Service was good but we came at a shift change so our original server left and we closed the tab with a new one. Both servers were attentive though. We come here for the live music and wings! This is the ideal sports bar/live music venue for your downtown Roswell visit. There has not been a weekend night we came that wasn't packed, always with a different live band than the last time we went through. We usually opt for a beer with our wings, but their specialty cocktails could be the move if you like super sweet drinks. They always have the tvs on with the game of the night, so in-between band breaks you are never left without entertainment. It is usually quite loud in there, so don't head here if you're trying to talk with someone. I don't really understand the set of for people who are in the standing room or at the tables, but I have never had to wait for a seat. This place is my go to if I am not ready for the night to end or I need some food in me quick. Keep in mind parking in the area can get difficult, but they do have a paid parking lot next door. The lot cost $10 to park in for the night from like 5 to 10 pm, but after 10 pm you'll only be charged $5. read more

I've past this restaurant soooo many times and just had to try it!! They have a fantastic Taco Tuesday special which includes two tacos and rice and beans for $8. What a deal! There's about 5 different tacos to choose from on the special. There's also a great Happy hour where you can purchase your tacos for $3 a piece. I ordered the Tinga Chicken and El Gringo tacos. One taco had shredded chicken which was very flavorful and the other had cubed chicken with onions, peppers and queso. Both tacos were delicious!! The sweet tea tastes like perfection and there's tons of large TVs to watch any sport currently on. They even have music bingo on Tuesday nights! Be careful with being over charged. This is the second time of being overcharged by the bar. Situation.. Me: I would like the $5 Monday margarita Bar tender: would you like to try the specialty margarita? It is one extra shot. Me: No, thank you. I will take the $5 margarita. Result: they conveniently have their pay pad set up that you don't see your total bill. I paid. Added 20% tip and my total was $32. I questioned my total with the bar tender and she says that I told her I wanted the two shot margarita! Show me in a group of friends ventured to the spot after volunteering for the Roswell Mimosa Festival. It was close by and we were really hungry. It had lots of outdoor seating as well as an ample amount of seating inside. So that was great. The menu was done with the QR code so it pulled up online. It's a decent menu at first I was not impressed to be honest. I was thinking that they would be exotic tacos but they were pretty basic taco descriptions. We ended up getting some wings and steak quesadillas as appetizers. Wings were good can't complain about them. I got the teriyaki and chipotle flavor. And my friends got the teriyaki and the signature sauce. They enjoyed their wings as well. For my entrée I decided to get the taco salad with beef. My server was awesome and suggested some sauces that I can get to go on top of it and I took a suggestion and got them. Very happy that I did! I love the house vinegar it on the salad as well as a spicy ranch. The two mix very well together and added something to the taco salad. My friends enjoyed the Brooklyn and the steak and shrimp fajitas. Everything tasted really good. A nice chill vibe. Before we were leaving it actually looked like a band was setting up to play so we missed out on that. We also decided to get a picture of the pink Cadillac margaritas. I highly recommend. They are strong! We finish the evening with the pour some sugar on me dessert. Which is a crispy tortilla shell that is tossed in cinnamon sugar with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup and whipped cream. It was enough for three of us to share. I was very good. Spacious, in fact, down right huge by some "sports bar" standards. I put that in quotations, because despite all the TV's (some positioned horribly though and almost impossible to see), they also are playing music and videos that are very engaging and fun to watch. So I'm sure they would bristle at being called just a sports bar. We sat at the bar and our bartender was very friendly and attentive. They have a few tables just outside of the bar, but they are too low to see the indoor TV's very well. (We went out there and did our own little experiment) We didn't sit out there, but a 4-top that were seated out there came inside because their server had ghosted them. just something to keep in mind if you sit out there. We just had a couple beers and some chips so cant say anything about the food - but we'll update this review when we go back to eat, which we do plan on doing. read more
