This was okay. The coffee was so watery and tasted very bland, the employee who took my order was not very kind but the sandwich was okay.

Don't sleep on their PSL! So much more fresh tasting than Starbucks. Their small size is a 16oz so you really get a lot of bang for your buck! Their coffee cake muffin is good, too! They label everything the day that it is made to ensure it is always fresh and never stale. Their Bragels are delicious too - however the only thing I wish they could have is different cream cheese flavors! Their menu has plenty of iced drinks and a big variety of flavors. Can't wait to try them all! Overall, an amazing spot and our new coffee stop :).

I received coupons in the mail the other day. I was in the area so I decided to give it a try. When I drive up, you can't miss it. The colors are bright and there was an orange tent to make it visible also. It is set up like a regular coffee shop, kind of Starbucks flow. They have cups for purchase and I was welcomed by the cashier who was very nice. She informed me of the special they had running. Not sure if it was just for that specific day. I ordered a Caramel Marvel which was...are you ready?? $1.99!!! That beats Starbucks any day. I did not wait for long and they had things moving along. Give it a shot! Maybe 2 lol...

Just had my first try of this coffee , and I must say love it.

First time trying this coffee staff was very courteous 100% it's a long drive for me to get there but I love love the coffee its hidden in this plaza so please look out for it. I flew pass it and I had to turn around but I must say I will be going back.

Oh my word. My new favorite coffee shop. If you like options for coffee, sweet coffee, variety, kind staff, books, and more - really, come here. The staff is seriously the best.

Such a nice place! The girl who took my order was so sweet and patient because I had no idea what I wanted lol. She even helped me pick out good options and explained everything I could do. They have so many options! I ended up just doing a latte with vanilla and cinnamon powder. Such good quality coffee!

I also love the Ocean Blue Thai Tea with coconut milk, which is such a fun and delicious option. The London Fog is pretty good too and makes for a nice switch-up when I'm in the mood for something different. Food-wise, I really enjoy their avocado toast, and the French toast is pretty good as well. The atmosphere & the matcha lol is what really keeps me coming back though it's cozy, aesthetically pleasing, and a great café to settle in and be productive for a while. Overall, it's a spot I frequent often and would definitely recommend if you're looking for a cute coffee shop/ café with good drinks, good food, and a nice vibe.

I finally got to attend this place and always wanted to try it since I moved to the Atlanta area…read more I've heard nothing but great things about it. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. It's a beautiful restaurant inside meaning it's good for a date, a night out with friends or family, or a great place to celebrate for a prom or graduation. It's more upscale than a traditional restaurant however I loved it! I came here with my business coach since I won a competition and the prize was to have lunch at the place of my choice. She ordered the soup of the day, which was like this cheddar soup that came with these two sauces, which one of the sauces was a jalapeño based sauce, which was spicy, but not too spicy to wear it wasn't edible. She did like her soup and she also ordered the lobster and smoked Gouda ravioli for her entrée. She had no complaints considering she bagged the food up to go and wanted to finish it right there, but she couldn't. Lol. I ordered the twin seared chicken, which is actually half a chicken pan seared. My chicken was so delicious! It was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection to where it was fall off the bone. Just how I like it! The rice and the green beans paired well with it. My rice was cooked well, meaning it was not mushy or hard. And my green beans were a great consistency as well. My little one had a chicken tender salad since she loves cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, pretty much anything that comes in a salad that's not the lettuce. Lol. I must say I was impressed by the size of the salad because it was huge for a child. It would be great as a size salad for an adult. The chicken tenders were an amazing size, bigger than what most restaurants would give especially for a child's plate. I was highly impressed by the size of the portions for the children because the price is pretty standard for a kids meal entrée in comparison to other restaurants that give less. Our service was awesome! I wouldn't expect anything less considering the ambience of the restaurant. Our server was attentive, and he even bagged up both of our meals for us. This place is a 10 out of 10 and yes, I will be frequenting this restaurant a lot more in the future, even if it's by myself to sit at the bar.

Unfortunately, our excitement quickly faded before we were even seated. When I walked into the restaurant, I was completely ignored by a young blonde employee named Claudia who was standing behind the counter in the waiting area. She looked directly at me and continued what she was doing without so much as a greeting or an acknowledgment. A simple, "Good morning, someone will be right with you," would have gone a long way. Since no one else was in the lobby and I noticed a clipboard on the counter, I politely asked if there was a waitlist. Claudia responded with an attitude that she "wasn't the hostess." I calmly asked where the hostess was, and she simply replied that she was clearing tables. There was no offer to help, no explanation of the process, and no attempt to assist me. She continued interacting with other staff members while I stood there feeling like an inconvenience. Thankfully, another employee who appeared to be a waiter noticed me. He immediately picked up the same clipboard that had been sitting on the counter, took my name and phone number with a cheerful attitude, and let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait. His professionalism completely contrasted with the poor customer service I had just experienced. Once seated, our waiter was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was also very good. I ordered the Chicken Sausage Scramble with hash browns, and it was delicious. My friend ordered the Catfish and Grits and thoroughly enjoyed her meal as well. The food and our waiter helped redeem the experience, but first impressions matter. Management should ensure that every employee understands that providing basic courtesy and hospitality is everyone's responsibility, not just the hostess's. Even if greeting guests or managing the waitlist wasn't Claudia's primary role, there was no excuse for being dismissive or rude to someone walking through your front door. Alpharetta has no shortage of excellent brunch spots with both great food and outstanding customer service. Sadly, because of the way I was treated before I was even seated, I won't be returning to The Southern Porch. I also won't feel comfortable recommending it to friends or family. It's disappointing because the kitchen and our waiter did their jobs well, but one employee's attitude overshadowed what could have been an otherwise enjoyable brunch.

10/10 -- An Experience We Won't Forget!…read more What started as a completely random, spur-of-the-moment stop at Canton St Social turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, our hosts Lay and Katlyn were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They immediately made us feel comfortable and set the tone for the entire evening. I even asked for something that wasn't on the dinner menu -- crème brûlée -- and instead of simply telling me it wasn't available, they made it happen! That level of service says a lot. But I have to give a special shout-out to Tony and Amelia. These two absolutely made our night. Tony made some of the most amazing drinks, and every cocktail came with a little bit of a show and personality. He wasn't just making drinks -- he was creating an experience. Amelia was just as impressive. She had great knowledge of the menu, but what really stood out was her personality and conversation. She was personable, funny, engaging, and genuinely made us feel welcome. By the end of the night, you would have thought we were old high school friends sitting around catching up after not seeing each other for years. That's what separates good service from a truly memorable experience. The food and drinks can bring you through the door, but the people are what make you want to come back. Lay, Katlyn, Tony, and Amelia -- thank you for turning an unexpected night out into something special. Excellent food. Amazing drinks. Outstanding service. Even better people.
