The food was very good. I ordered the basil Thai fried rice seafood as a main course, a delicious dish, I loved how Amy A was very friendly and gave us recommendations that we really value since it was the first time we came here, many restaurants need to find people like her to guide you when you are going to eat something different, so since we entered the door her friendly treatment made our experience better read more

Where do I begin? Walking in was greeted immediately, sat down. Went during lunch and it was fairly full. Good sign! Very classy, and server was friendly. Ended up ordering the coconut soup, added chicken and medium spice level. It was delicious, and just the right amount of spice to complement the flavors! Pad Thai, with chicken and hot spice level was also very delicious, had a kick but in the best way possible! 10/10 will be back read more

Spice, soul, and everything bold -- Rickshaw Thai delivers every time I always start with my go-to -- the lychee martini This time, I also tried their April special Tipsy Bunny...the coconut rum based drink was quite refreshing. The rooftop here is such a vibe -- perfect for sipping cocktails, for wonderful moments with friends and family . From vegetarian favorites to meat lovers' delights, their menu has something for everyone -- with generous, shareable portions that make the experience so wholesome. Curries loaded with fresh veggies and a choice of protein - creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced. Ended on a high with classic mango sticky rice--sweet, satisfying, and a solid 10/10 Save this for a sundowner plan that never disappoints read more

Food was made hot and fresh and was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Ambiance is very cozy! Jamison my bartender was very courteous and engaging as I sat at the bar. Also like to point out Bahari a server who was extremely polite and courteous as well as I sat at the bar. Told the MOD of my experience and will DEFINITELY be back! read more

I had a really good experience here. My server Jameson was great. I sat upstairs on the outdoor patio and the view was beautiful with a nice breeze from the ceiling fans. I started with the chicken and shrimp dumplings and enjoyed it. I ordered the spicy basil fried rice with shrimp, (medium flavor) and it had the perfect amount of heat to it. My experience here wasn't bad, however I've had better Thai food before that had more bold flavors. I would still recommend this place because of my overall great experience. read more

Amazing food and cocktails! The only down side is that if you are seated near the bar, it can get very loud with people taking shots and being obnoxious. It kind of takes away from the nice vibe they have. I wish they did not sit us right there with two small kids. The service could be better as well considering we had 3 different servers so that was annoying. But the food is delicious so I hope the other things don't ruin it for them! read more

I stopped in on a whim on a recent Saturday for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The menu contains all of the classic Thai dishes as well as some creative cocktails. To start, I ordered the Andamanda cocktail which is rum based. It contains rosemary syrup and guava. It was well balanced and delicious. I also ordered the coconut soup with shrimp and pad Thai with shrimp. Everything was delicious and the portions were a nice size. The prices are very reasonable as well. I was thoroughly impressed by the food and the great customer service I received. Can't wait to return! read more

The Masaman Curry with beef was tasty. The best pad Thai I ever had was from here! It was flawless. The servers were very happy and joyful to serve customers. Went to Rickshaw Thai for girls' night and honestly everything was so good. The food came out super fast and we ordered the drunken noodles, veggie gyoza, Thai basil fried rice, and chicken satay--would get all of it again. Our drinks came after the food so I think they forgot about them for a bit, but it wasn't a huge deal. If you like spicy food though, definitely ask for it spicy because the regular level was pretty mild. read more

Love, love, love the Thai food here! Best I've ever had. We enjoyed larb chicken salad as an appetizer, Thai Basil steak, and Panang curry shrimp. The larb was delicious and spicy. The Thai Basil and Panang were just the right amount of spicy for us at mild. The White Lotus and Mandarin Melkong summer drink specials were amazing. Victoria was an attentive server and we were served quickly. The exterior and interior are nicely decorated. read more

Amazing food. I've had the cashew stir fry with tofu twice--perfectly cooked vegetables in a really flavorful sauce. My kids devoured the chicken satay, and my wife loved the tofu salad. The service is a bit slow, but they bar, booths, and patio are extremely comfortable. They don't have a ton of seating, so avoid peak times to snag a spot upstairs. read more

Rickshaw Thai Kitchen occupies a location that's seen a few different restaurants over the years--from burgers to tacos, and now Thai. The space itself is really nice, with a great patio, although we opted to eat inside because of the heat. The food was the real standout. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It's honestly some of the best Thai food I've had in quite a while. If they keep this level of quality up, I hope this restaurant is the one that finally makes this location a long-term success. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I've had so many versions of Thai food over the years. The best way to describe this restaurant is comfort. The interior is relaxing, filled with darker colors, makes you feel you are de-stressing. They have a full bar if you're just coming for the drinks. The drinks were a huge highlight here. Definitely go with a signature cocktail or mixed drink. I had the Thai fire. It was served with a kaffir lime leaf and a red chili! Nice chili salt rim. Smooth in heat but not overpowering. Also had the white lotus which was creamy and scented with lychee ( next time I may try the lychee martini!) For starters I would recommend the cheese rolls. Perfectly cooked and cheesy but not too oily. Chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce were similar to other versions I had. Just the right amount of tang and sweet. Also had the coconut soup which was a mixture of mushrooms and chicken in a coconut milk broth and kaffir lime leaves balanced with a chili oil. It was exactly what I wanted!! All the major players are there on the entrees. I had the pad prik king with seafood, I like that you can choose your protein and spice level. Medium was mild to me. Hot was perfect. A nice salty and spicy thin brown sauce with sauté bell peppers and green beans served with white jasmine rice. My group also had the pad Thai and drunken noodles. Pad Thai was just the right amount of sweet and sour laced with bean sprouts and peanuts. Long flat rice noodles in that drunken noodles sauce hit all the high points for that dish. Waitstaff was attentive and didn't leave us hanging even though they were busy. This was a great find when in Alpharetta. It's rare when all of us agree how good the restaurant was and I would love to bring more family and friends next time. read more

Rickshaw Thai has great food, clean interiors, and good service! We tried the chicken skewers, which I highly recommend, and the curry puffs as appetizers. Main courses were the basal thai rice with chicken and tofu, and drunken noodles with chicken, which were very delicious. I also was recommended the vanilla berry cocktail by our server, Victoria, who was super sweet and attentive. The interior is decorated beautifully and clean, I definitely would come back again!! read more

Delicious food, great atmosphere. Get the cheese rolls. They're awesome!!I had the Tom Yon soup.

Seems like a cute place but the food was kind of mid. If you're paying close to 30 usd for takeout noodles they need to step it up.

My wife and I visited Rickshaw Thai Cuisine & Bar in Alpharetta and had a fantastic dining experience. From start to finish everything was solid: What we ordered: Starters: Spring rolls (crispy veggie-packed wraps with sweet-sour sauce) Thai beef jerky (marinated beef strips that really delivered flavor) Curry puffs (my wife's pick -- warm pastry with curry filling, loved it) Coconut soup with chicken (mild spice--great broth, plenty of mushrooms and chicken = perfect combo) Main courses: I had the pad see ew with chicken (well-balanced, good portion) and my wife had the masaman curry (spot-on flavor--savory with a gentle sweet finish but not too sweet). Ambience & service & logistics: The building has ample parking, which is a relief. There's outdoor seating (nice patio) and upstairs space for larger groups if you ever come with friends. We sat downstairs and found the vibe relaxed yet nicely done. The server (Calet) was friendly and enthusiastic -- it always elevates the experience when the staff are genuinely engaged. They also serve Coke products (I had a Coke Zero) which is a small thing but for me a nice plus. Bottom line: If you're looking for a Thai place in Alpharetta that hits the flavor, portion, and service marks without going crazy expensive, this is it. Highly recommend giving Rickshaw Thai a try. read more

I stopped into Rickshaw Thai Kitchen for lunch while getting my truck serviced at the Range Rover dealership which is really close by, and I'm so glad I did. I ended up having a really good vegan Thai meal. I ordered the vegan Panang curry, and the flavor was absolutely delicious, rich, well-seasoned, and very satisfying. I opted out of the tofu since I don't eat it and instead got extra veggies with added bamboo shoots, which made it even better for my taste. I truly loved it. I also tried the vegan coconut soup for the first time, and it did not disappoint. It was creamy, flavorful, and something I would definitely order again. I paired everything with the classic fried spring rolls, which were exactly what you'd expect: crispy and tasty. Overall, this is an excellent choice if you're looking for a solid vegan meal in the Alpharetta area. The service was also really good and the decor is really cute. I'll definitely be back. read more

4.5/5 stars. I ordered via food delivery service and the food arrived still piping hot. I ordered the tom yum soup, drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp, and the the basil chicken. The soup was my absolute favorite. I took cooking classes in Thailand and when I first tasted the soup, it took me back there. The earthiness cuts the sweetness and the bold layers of flavors cut through. I ordered the soup Thai spicy and the spice level was perfect. We also enjoyed both the basil chicken and drunken noodles. My only critique is that I really don't like when Thai places don't lean into the spice. I ordered the basil chicken hot and it was more like a very light medium almost mild and the drunken noodles were supposed to be Thai hot but tasted more like medium. At the same time, I do allow grace to the restaurants because I know they have to be mindful of peoples sensitivity to spice but if you're a Thai spot, just let those people order mild and do Thai spicy the right way. Thai spicy should hit you as soon as you bite into it. That said, I respect how the flavors were layered and I can't wait to visit in person. read more

My husband and I recently discovered this hidden gem. It's probably the best Thai I have had in GA. The food was well seasoned and the ambiance was nice. We didn't make a reservation and got sat at a booth right by the door. We asked the server if we could move because we kept getting a draft of cold air and she was able to help us out. Our server was so sweet and attentive. Holy Flavor town! This food was absolutely incredible. It exceeded my expectations in all aspects. Shumai dumplings- 5/5 I wanted to lick the plate. The sauce and then the crunchy garlic on top. That elevated the texture and flavor! Pad Mama- 5/5 So glad we tried this bc we usually get pad Thai or pad see ew or drunken noodles. The texture was nice and chewy, flavor was savory, sweet and spicy. Panang Curry- 5/5 Perfectly creamy, perfectly spicy, and vegetables were cooked well. I mean this was one of the best curries I've had. Shrimp Fried rice- 5/5 My goddaughter loved this. Also packed with flavor and well executed. The mango mocktail and spicy Margarita were also great. Overall a great and memorable experience. I highly recommend this place and try these dishes. I'm dreaming about when I can go back and eat here again. read more

Ordered delivered from this place and had high hopes from their reviews, however, the drunken noodles were so dry and lacked flavor- I don't understand how they would mess up noodles! There were so veggies or enough protein either. Not sure if I would order from here again read more

I went to this place on a weekday and had a great experience. Here is a summary of my experience there. 1) Ambiance 5/5: The small place has a great ambiance and looks trendy and upscale. They have a small bar and TVs to watch sports along with dining in. Apart from this, they have kept their Thai soul and I love the rickshaw outside the place 2) Service 5/5: The servers are really helpful and cheerful. They listen to your queries patiently and offer great suggestions and substitutions. 3) Food 4.5/5: The food was overall great both in presentation and taste. Here is the summary of what we ordered: a) Tom Yum soup without Shrimp: Caution the shrimp is in the gravy as well so if you have an allergy, beware. Apart from this I really liked the taste, the only nitpicking will be that the quantity was less otherwise a delicious soup b) Passionfruit juice - The juice was refreshing and tasty. C) Masaman Curry - The curry is served with rice and the quantity is huge for one person. The chicken was tender and juicy d) Drunken Noodles with Tofu - The tofu was soft and the noodles were delicious and full of green veggies. We had enough to get a to-go box as well. 4) Value for Money 4/5: Some of the dishes were inexpensive while some were on the heavier side but given their quantity, I think it is overall a good value for money Overall, Definitely recommended, and will come back again. Recommendations: All the dishes listed above read more

OMG if you need good Thai food this is the place you need to check out! FYI it's busy + limited parking so make sure to keep that in mind. Reservations are strongly recommended. They do have bar seating as well as some seating on a 2nd floor. I called ahead for takeout. Even busy it was ready in 15 min! I saw several dishes being served + I wanted to try everything! I got the cashew nut chicken with brown rice. Medium heat is perfect- spicy with the sweet sauce of the cashew nut. Brown rice is an up charge but worth it - rice was insane!
