品味成都 IYKYK Alpharetta has Metro Atlanta's newest Szechuan restaurant that serves authentic Chinese food with that mala (spicy + numbing) flavor from Chengdu. This Chengdu themed cute cafe is already being frequented by the local community that loves authentic spicy food. Yes, they also serve some Chinese-American dishes for all the orange chicken fans. So you can skip Panda Express and eat local instead. I'm loving this bright cafe space, with indoor and outdoor seating options. There is also a karaoke setup in the back. Pro Tip: Order at least one main dish from the Chef's Recommendations menu to try authentic cuisine. Also, their vegetable menu section has some of my favorite dishes, as well as multiple eggplant options. ‍ Tried: 红油抄手 A7. Wonton W. Chili Oil $10.00 - Handmade delicate wontons in deliciously garlic sauce with plenty of Sichuan peppercorn flavor. 10/10 担担面(猪肉) C10. Dan Dan Noodles $10.00 - Classic szechuan dish with your choice of ground beef, pork, or meatless wheat noodles with luscious sesame and peppercorn sauce. 8/10 because the noodles were a little soft. 干锅包菜 V7. Spicy Stir-Fried Cabbage $14.00 - Massive cabbage dish to balance out the spicy oil consumed in the rest of the meal. Plenty of pieces of garlic and ginger, but not very spicy. 9/10 麻辣牛腩煲 H10. Mala (Hot & Numbing) Beef Stew $21.00 - Not much beef for the price and the broth was fairly thin. Next, time I'll order the version with potato to see if there is a thicker stew to eat with rice. 7/10 串串 There is also a Chinese BBQ skewers special menu on the table, not included in the regular menu. Family business with kind and helpful service..

Nice clean restaurant. Love all the options available to eat. We got the hot boiled fish which was good and I really liked the stir fry cauliflower dish. The scallion pancakes taste like the ones you get frozen from the store and it's too expensive for just one non handmade pancake. Service was good

Hands down the best Chinese food in the US. I travel the country for work a lot and I never finish my meals. This one I cleaned the plate. Mongolian Beef and Hit and Sour soup. Clean and modern establishment. The service was top notch as well.

I've dined there with Mainland Chinese and they all have enjoyed every dish we've tried. Portions are large so order accordingly and share with the table in true Chinese style! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They can and will guide you to specific menu items if you describe what you're in a mood for or if there's a particular taste you desire. I've never had a bad experience with Sichuan House! As a side note, their take-out is great too!

I've tried a variety of dishes over the years and they've been able to maintain great cooking consistency. Their dining room service used to be high-touch. They lost a couple older, but much more service oriented wait staffers over the years. Whenever you had lobster before, they would offer a new plate in exchange of your existing plate filled with discarded shells. Today, they couldn't care less. But, the biggest detraction now is that they have significantly reduced their portion sizing. It's been a short few months since I've dined in, but I was there this week and ordered a variety of dishes and was hugely DISAPPOINTED that most dishes were HALF-SIZED compared to last year. IT WAS SHOCKING. The menu prices have always been premium pricing but it's even more so today when shrinkflation showed up this past week. It was really a let down because they have raised prices over the years but at least kept the sizing fairly consistent. I was okay paying higher prices for good portions and good service, but that equation simply doesn't add up anymore.

The interior offers beautiful artwork on the walls as you enter, and the interior seating is done in a lovely shade of sheer purple. Parking is shared with the other tenants in the shopping center, but plenty is available. The first time I ate here I started to eat as soon as my food was placed in front of me, that I forgot to take photos. Our waitress Pawnie is the BEST! She's helped us both times we've been in and even remembered what appetizer my husband and I said we wanted to try on our next visit. As soon as she recognized us tonight, she was already putting the order in so we wouldn't have to wait long. Like I said, wonderful service. This restaurant offers a vast variety of dinner options. If you're in the mood for sushi, opt for "dining in," as all rolls will then be 30% off! On this visit we ordered the Roti Canai appetizer (Indian Pancake served with Curry dipping sauce), two Picasso Rolls, and a side Hot and Sour Soup. Soup is always my favorite. I've now tried two from here, and both have been so flavorful and filling. The sushi rolls are all presented beautifully, and we have yet to order an appetizer that we don't plan to try again. 10/10!
