My tofu was dry and over fried, there was maybe 10 strips of veggies and there was hardly any sauce so when I got home in 15 minutes the noodles were all stuck together like a rice brick. While they offer the usual Thai fare, I was most interested in the harder-to-find dishes, which are listed on the back page of the lunch menu. I came for lunch and ordered the Tiger Fry appetizer, Pad See Ew, and the baked fish. The beef in the Tiger Fry was quite tender and could have stood on its own as an entrée. The Pad See Ew noodles were nicely supple and carried great flavor throughout. The baked fish was cooked well with just the right touch of heat. I saw this place on Instagram and decided to come with a girlfriend for dinner. There was plenty of parking in the shopping strip. I came around 7pm during a weekday and they were pretty busy. There are a few tables out front (uncovered). I was sat right away. They have a cute bar area and I liked the cocktail/wine/drinks menu variety. I got the moon night (gin) and it was refreshing and not too sweet! I ordered the Thai boat noodle soup with beef and the portion was big. I love the flavors and the beef was tender. My friend for the drunken noodle with chicken and it was really good too. The noodle is the perfect amount of chewiness and the chicken is all white meat. I love how wide the flat rice noodles were in the Pad Kee Mao! Not many restaurants have flat rice noodles that wide, so that was nice. It was also very saucy, which I liked... but the sauce was a bit sweet for me. It tasted more like a Pad See Ew and I also did not get a chance to share with them my spice level for the dish. My boyfriend liked the Pad Kra Pao (which also came with a bowl of rice). Overall, this is nice restaurant for Thai food! Pru is such a gem! Love the uniqueness of the chef specials that really separate Pru from other local Thai restaurants. The short rib dish ($38) was incredibly tender and fell off the bone immediately with a delicious broth. I chose this restaurant for a business lunch based on proximity and immediately regretted it. Our server went through the order line by line, read back the green curry, confirmed the protein, and acknowledged it would be prepared to-go after the meal. Despite that, the order was never made. After I had already left, I returned to ask about it. The staff gathered, spoke among themselves in their own language, and stared at me in a way that felt openly hostile. Eventually, I was told, "We're taking care of that for you." I then waited over 10 additional minutes before they brought the food out--along with a bill--and told me it hadn't been charged. When I stepped out to retrieve my wallet and realized it was missing, I immediately came back inside to explain. Without any discussion, apology, or attempt to resolve the situation, they took the food back and acted upset, escalating an already uncomfortable situation unnecessarily. For context, I've owned restaurants before. I wasn't trying to get free food. The dish had already been prepared and would have been thrown away regardless. A simple acknowledgment of the mistake and basic professionalism would have resolved this. Instead, the server became defensive, as if I were being accused of something, rather than owning an error she had clearly confirmed earlier. There were empty tables, no rush, and yet no apology, no accountability, and no effort to de-escalate. Given that this restaurant is also significantly more expensive than other Thai options nearby, the service level is unacceptable. I chose this place for convenience during a professional lunch. It turned into an embarrassing and unnecessary ordeal. We will not be returning. read more

Did I just have the best drunken noodle in my lifetime!! Wow this place is legit! During my travels decided to try this place with a friend not too far from our hotel and glad we did. The entrees were like a flavor bomb to your palate; but especially the drunken noodle dish. You can tell the noodles were freshly made and silky and melt in your mouth. The proteins were cooked perfectly and the beef was extremely moist and tender not chewy. Shrimp was nice size and sautéed to perfection. I did notice the spice level wasn't extremely hot like most Thai restaurants but I'm sure it can be increased at your request if that's your preference. We also ordered the shrimp pad Thai which was good as well but not as memorable as the drunken noodle dish. I know I'm gonna be dreaming about this place when I go home. Service from waitress was excellent and she was very informative about entree selection. Also, I really liked the modern dimmed lighting ambiance for the evening. For those dining alone they also have a nice bar to sit and enjoy your meal. I will definitely return the next time I'm in the area. My kids like the calamari, pad Thai, pad see ew, and plus salad. Basil fried rice is good, pompano is great, the short rib is nice, and the beef curry with roti is also good. Tiger cry steak is fine, but the steak was cut not against the grain and was very chewy(loved the sauce). Another thing we weren't into was the branzino. For the price, it was not all there. The whole fish was deep fried, and then topped with vegetables and herbs.
