Great Thai restaurant near Avalon/downtown Alpharetta. The decor and setup was elegant. The host and staff were very nice. We visited when they were only taking reservations. However, the bar was open and they let us sit at the bar which was nice and very accommodating. I had my go to Pad Thai dish. Loved it! Very delicious. My mom got the Panang curry but it was a little too spicy for her tastebuds. Highly recommend telling spice level when ordering. My dad got the basil fried rice and said he enjoyed it. Would definitely go again!

This is a classy place that is ideal for a date night. They have creative cocktails. Food was very good- papaya salad was a great app. My entree was the fried rice with 3 types of meat. It was very flavorful and a good sized portion. Prices are high so we will save this place for special occasions.

What comes to mind when I think about Pru Thai is elevated Thai. While they offer the usual Thai fare, I was most interested in the harder-to-find dishes, which are listed on the back page of the lunch menu. I came for lunch and ordered the Tiger Fry appetizer, Pad See Ew, and the baked fish. The beef in the Tiger Fry was quite tender and could have stood on its own as an entrée. The Pad See Ew noodles were nicely supple and carried great flavor throughout. The baked fish was cooked well with just the right touch of heat. A great spot if you're looking for Thai food that goes beyond the basics.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! We are Thai food lovers and were so excited to try it. My daughter loved the shrimp in a blanket - we got 2 orders for her. The beef karee curry pot pie was AMAZING! The flavor was so rich and it was served hot. We will be back soon!

The food was really good. The pot pie was different than the normal pot pie but delicious. The cashew chicken was amazing and the Thai tea delicious. This place leans more towards reservations but was able to fit us in. The ambiance was great with a lot of artistic touches.

I saw this place on Instagram and decided to come with a girlfriend for dinner. There was plenty of parking in the shopping strip. I came around 7pm during a weekday and they were pretty busy. There are a few tables out front (uncovered). I was sat right away. They have a cute bar area and I liked the cocktail/wine/drinks menu variety. I got the moon night (gin) and it was refreshing and not too sweet! I ordered the Thai boat noodle soup with beef and the portion was big. I love the flavors and the beef was tender. My friend for the drunken noodle with chicken and it was really good too. The noodle is the perfect amount of chewiness and the chicken is all white meat. We enjoyed our meal with plenty of leftover to bring home. I would love to come back and try other dishes. Service was really nice as well. Everyone was friendly and helpful!

I keep coming back here because it is absolutely AMAZING! Food, service, and vibes are always top notch. The pad Thai is so good and the cocktails are consistently perfect. Highly recommend, it's our new favorite date night spot!

Pru Thai Kitchen is a modern Thai restaurant right across from the Avalon. I had heard a lot of good things about the food here so I definitely wanted to try it out. The inside has a lovely ambiance, although it is not that big. The service was efficient and the food came out quickly. We got the Pad Kee Mao with Chicken and Pad Kra Pao with Beef. I love how wide the flat rice noodles were in the Pad Kee Mao! Not many restaurants have flat rice noodles that wide, so that was nice. It was also very saucy, which I liked... but the sauce was a bit sweet for me. It tasted more like a Pad See Ew and I also did not get a chance to share with them my spice level for the dish. My boyfriend liked the Pad Kra Pao (which also came with a bowl of rice). Overall, this is nice restaurant for Thai food! I have had better Pad Kee Mao elsewhere and the prices are a bit more than other Thai restaurants, but I would probably come back here if I was in the area.

This place was so delicious! First of all it's beautifully decorated. The location is great with a decent amount of parking. We came for lunch so there weren't too many people there. The Panang curry was phenomenal and the portion size could easily last me three meals. The calamari was fresh and didn't feel heavily breaded or anything. Definitely satisfied the craving. I'll for sure be back!

Pru is such a gem! Love the uniqueness of the chef specials that really separate Pru from other local Thai restaurants. The short rib dish ($38) was incredibly tender and fell off the bone immediately with a delicious broth. The curries are a bit higher-priced than some other nearby restaurants at around $24 for tofu or chicken, but the portion size is large and my husband said it was one of the best he had ever had. The ambiance is cute and relatively casual but appropriate for a date night as well. Looking forward to returning to try out more of the chef specials!

Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed by our meals here. They were not bad by any means, but we have had more impressive Thai food for a lower cost. The calamari starter was a bit tough and boring and the seafood salad I ordered was good, but nothing noteable. My husband got the pineapple fried rice. Also good, but we have had better. Both our drinks were decent. The service was okay and the environment the same. Overall, just a very mid meal sorry to say.

While we both thought the food was delicious, service was quite slow. The ambiance is nice, decor was cute. I would recommend, but would cautious that you allow extra time for yourself.

We decided to try Slurpin' Ramen Bar first. I had read that they originally started in California so I had a good feeling about it and I'm so glad we went! Their tonkotsu broth was probably the best I've had in the US. It was rich and full of flavor without feeling overly heavy. It was so good that we didn't want to leave any behind so we actually took the leftover broth with us for the 5-hour drive home (thankfully we had a cooler bag!). I immediately had to tell my son who's currently living in LA for college so he can visit one there too. This place is definitely going on our must-visit restaurant list from now on.

First, when you walk into the restaurant, it is very cute, has a bar for solo diners and booths incase you are in a group. The location is very cozy and the employees were great! Our server was very patient and had no problem explaining, re-explaining, and confirming with the chef if he wasn't 100% on an answer. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience. Also, when you are paying the check, they bring you a small bucket full of dum dum lollipops, which I thought was a great touch. Me and my adult guests all left like happy children, which is exactly how eating out should make you feel.

As before 3 of the 4 of our group had the Spicy Creamy V Ramen with chicken and all said it was fantastic. For myself, I tried the Spicy Chicken Ramen with chicken and my bowl was also fantastic! The service was spot on and the ambience is very chill & friendly. This time we had to sit at a high top in the bar area which was fine as it gave plenty of room for the meals and adult beverages. Thank you again for a fun time with awesome food!

The environment was very polarizing. The tables were smushed close together (less than a foot…read morebetween our table and the next) and there was an open wall to the kitchen, so you heard the noises from the kitchen. I wasn't a fan, but I didn't take off any stars for it, since it's just preference and some people might like that. One thing I am taking a star for is the fact that the staff would all randomly yell in unison (like a cult) periodically throughout the meal. We asked our waiter at the end of our meal, and he said they yelled "welcome" in Japanese whenever a new patron walked in. To clarify, they didn't even look at the person entering when they did this, nor did they explain the term to anyone. Just the whole kitchen and staff yelling a random Japanese word periodically throughout the meal. Service was fast, we ordered at 6pm and received our food at 6:10. Waters refilled within 5-10 minutes of being empty. I ordered the JINYA chicken ramen (pictured), with low spice. The broth and noodles were delicious but the chicken didn't seem like it was seasoned at all. My sister had Tankatsu ramen red with 3/10 spice, she liked it. The chairs were comfortable enough and the bathroom was clean.
