Came back to visit our friends in Alpharetta and decided to go back to Jinya Ramen Bar and as before we're not disappointed. As before 3 of the 4 of our group had the Spicy Creamy V Ramen with chicken and all said it was fantastic. For myself, I tried the Spicy Chicken Ramen with chicken and my bowl was also fantastic! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was spot on and the ambience is very chill & friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This time we had to sit at a high top in the bar area which was fine as it gave plenty of room for the meals and adult beverages.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you again for a fun time with awesome food!

    JINYA Tonkotsu Original 2010*

We enjoyed the good portion sizes. More than enough to be able to eat in one go or take some leftovers home. The prices could be a bit lower but with the location of the restaurant Im not really surprised. The wonton ramen was not flavorful. If I wasnt looking I wouldnt know what I was eating. The original 2010 was over flavored with fish sauce and seasoning but this could also be upto one's personal preference. The thicker noodles were great though. The creamy tonkatsu was my favorite if it was not spicy. Again this is upto ones personal preference. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is well visited. Attracts a young crowd and feels great to be in that kind of environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its buzzing so if you want that kind of experience, this is the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had ramen at JINYA & it was soooooo good: top-end ramen spot. The service was fast & friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is upscale, classy, & cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great place, only one drawnback - it's a little hard to find from the street as the 'front' door is on the side of the building... :)

Excellent bar, restaurant and ramen in downtown Alpharetta. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Attentive staff, swanky interior and good ramen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I am fan of Tonkotsu which was good. I like spicy and there were spiciest there to add. Pork gyoza was my appetizer. I didn't drink this time around but the bar is fully stocked...and they advertise The Happy Hour! The only issue I had is with ground pork which was not fine enough for my taste.

Been craving Ramen, which is hard to find in vegan form where we live. So, traveling allows for more exploration and options. Their menu photo on Yelp showed gluten free noodles, but their in person menu did not have that option. I inquired and was told the rice noodles are made with no gluten ingredients but are boiled in the same water as gluten noodles. That is usually ok for me so I ordered them. Our server was being trained and I assume it was one of his first days, as his trainer had to intercede several times and explain to us what he was saying. Hopefully it's only up from here for him! We ordered the edamame and it had very little salt on it, but when it was dropped off we were told we could ask for more salt. We didn't bother and I don't think we even finished them. We ordered the creamy vegan ramen. It was just "ok". It was very very salty and didn't have a lot of umami compared with many versions I've had. When we arrived we were put on a waiting list with a couple people in front of us. By the time we left the line was out the door. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was very traditional sushi bar decorated with booths and tables.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We were offered a high top in the bar, with no wait, but chose to wait for a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

From the service to the drinks to [[HIGHLIGHT]]the outside scenery[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and especially the food, Jinya was an amazing place to eat at! It's tucked away in a little corner in the middle of a small shopping and family outing plaza so it's really easy to miss it but even thought it's hidden It is nothing short of spectacular food!

Jinya ramen bar near Alpharetta downtown is a really good place for delicious ramen. The place is trendy, clean and spacious, and the service is quick even during their busy times. The ramens are flavorful and you won't regret any of the listed options. We tried the tonkatsu black, spicy chicken and chicken yuzu and all were great.

Jinya never disappoints. Visiting ATL needed a spot for late night snacks. 宵夜! had some hearty ramen with the right spicy level, and refreshing sake. Service was wonderful. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Atmosphere was open, modern and comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pricing is comparable to the local area. Definitely recommend! by @winedinenvacay

The ramen here is consistently delicious, the service consistently great, and the restaurant consistently clean with the perfect ambience for a ramen bar. Our waitress checked up on us often, and the food came out quick and fresh. The Black Iced Tea is out of this world good, and so is the fried chicken- the best around. The ramen itself never fails to impress. Always good quality and quantity. Every visit here fills me up for the whole meal and the next. The Matcha Green Tea Tiramisu is heaven for all matcha lovers. Will be coming back!

One of my absolute favorite ramen spots in Alpharetta. Fresh ingredients and flavors stress 10/10 every time. The customer service is always top notch no matter which server you get. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love the look and feel inside as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely a must try.

I got the birria ramen with tofu, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My friend got the tan tan men ramen and I loved the spice level it came with. We both shared the edamame and ATE that like there was no tomorrow!. Our server Aaron was SO kind to us, honestly he's the goat, and that Brazilian hostess was SO sweet to us she made us laugh #baghooks! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We adored the vibe it's so chill and everything is so cute![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 10/10 me and my friend WILL come back!

Ask the Community - JINYA Ramen Bar - Alpharetta

    Is the takeout in plastic?

The ramen is in paper-type containers (did not leak) with plastic covers. They separate the broth from the noodles/meat/toppings. Other things like apps came in styrofoam

    Are they closed now permanently?

most places are doing to go orders. i would call the number listed.

Is the noodle egg and dairy free?

I believe so. They have a Vegan Ramen option available so the noodles should be egg + dairy free. They also have an option to sub in kale noodles for an additional cost.

    Do they have happy hour?

    Yes, they do

Ok let me first say that I haven't dined here yet!!…read more I was looking at hosting a bridal shower in the area, where I'm out of town so dont have a way to come visit/scope out the place. Shannon was so accomodating, he sent me photos of the place where the shower would be, and answered a ton of questions for me. The level of service from him was impeccable, especially when I was pretty clear from the beginning that I was looking at quite a few different places. We ultimately chose somewhere else due to budget and we wanted a more "light and airy" vibe. I just wanted to drop a line here and say that this spot is really perfect for a smaller shower and for a pretty competitive price!

The place was very clean and nice, also has a fancy feel to it. The food i had tasted amazing, but the rice was a little on the salty side for me. I am not sure if its a southern food thing ( I am from the other side of the U.S) but, seasoned rice has been salty to me all over GA. I would definitely recommend this place to someone though. They had my favorite beer on tap "left hand milk stout Nitro" good food and amazing service.

It's been a while since my husband and I have been up here, and with patio season and summer…read more(almost officially) here, we thought this would be a great time to revisit! We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, my husband ordered the crab cakes, and I ordered the lettuce wraps app as my main. The crab cakes were really good (I had a bite or two), and the buns were unexpected but delicious! The lettuce wraps were also very good, but honestly not what I thought a lettuce wrap would be. I've seen other pictures of them that were much more traditional finger food for brunch, so not sure if they changed them entirely or if this is just dinner version. Tasty, but obviously not for picking up... it would be tricky to wrap them up in that tiny piece of lettuce and I did not want to get dripped on with the sauce. So, if knife and fork lettuce wraps were a thing - this would be it! I think the bib lettuce makes it hard as it's so frail and flimsy, so if I had any suggestions, maybe it would be to try wrapping them from a head of lettuce for a bigger, more firm piece of lettuce. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Nice finish to a richly flavored dinner. My husband asked for an espresso and it came in a huge mug. Not sure if this is standard, or if they ran out of demitasse cups. Service was more attentive on front end, but less as they got busy and our server got more tables. I asked another server for water refill and then a manager brought us a dessert menu since our server disappeared. He showed up with the check and we had to tell him we wanted dessert. We made reservation through open table and got seated immediately. When we left, the little lobby area was packed so we definitely went at the right time. I think the servers were getting a little overwhelmed (and I cannot blame them). Still a great view and worth the hassle of finding parking in downtown Alpharetta.

It was warm outside and warm = rooftop bar. It was the start of a great night. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located in downtown Alpharetta on South Main Street. The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Verdict I'm not in Alpharetta much, but the next time I am, I'll definitely stop through for a drink and the view. If you're in the area stop on in! Until next time!

The restaurant is in a really nice area of town in Alpharetta with beautiful surroundings and really nice decor, just a really, really nice part of the city. We started off with the Louisiana spring rolls, Cajun crab dip, and a jumbo lump crab cake. The crab dip was really good, and honestly, all of the appetizers were excellent. For the main course, we had the Parmesan-crusted salmon, jumbo stuffed shrimp with crab, branzino, and blackened redfish. Everything was cooked to perfection, and everybody really enjoyed their dishes. The service started off a little slow, probably because we were waiting on one of our party members, but once things got going, we had impeccable service for the rest of the evening. Shout-out to Jason for taking great care of us! The mixed drinks were really good too. A couple had a little more ice than I would have preferred, but hey, it's summertime in Atlanta, so maybe that wasn't such a bad thing! Parking can be a little challenging. There is a garage on the side of the building, but I believe it's primarily for the apartment complex. We parked there and didn't get a ticket, but street parking was definitely a little difficult. All in all, we had a really good evening. The prices were reasonable, and they even offer a military discount, which definitely made the experience even better. If you're in Atlanta and don't mind taking a drive up to Alpharetta, I definitely recommend giving Coalition Steak & Seafood a try. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We were seated near the kitchen, which wasn't a problem. The restaurant had a soccer game on the TV, but it was quiet and there was no indication anything unusual was about to happen. Without warning, a group of approximately eight staff members gathered just a few feet from our table and erupted into an extremely loud celebration, screaming at the top of their lungs as if they were in a sports bar. The outburst startled us so badly that it literally sent my husband into atrial fibrillation (AFib). He was visibly shaken and extremely upset, and we were prepared to leave immediately. Our waiter could clearly see how distressed we were. Since we had already ordered the lobster bites appetizer, he kindly offered to move us to another table. We appreciated his effort and accepted. We finished the appetizer, but by then the evening was ruined, so we left and had dinner elsewhere. What disappointed us most was the complete lack of management involvement. Our waiter knew exactly what had happened and how upset we were, yet not once did a manager come to our table to apologize, ask if my husband was okay, or acknowledge that the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant. This wasn't about cheering for a game--it was about professionalism. Guests who choose a steakhouse expect a calm, enjoyable atmosphere, not to be startled by employees screaming just feet away from their table. We have always enjoyed Coalition, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this with their staff so no other guests have their evening ruined the way ours was. We will not be back. Later Added: I just found out the Manager was one of the ones screaming. Pathetic! We went to PappaDeauxs which was half the price and honestly better food & calm atmosphere! Not a sports bar!
