Apparently the restaurant has been closed for dine in since Coviad 2020 and only does take out. Me and my coworkers came on a Friday night and it was just too busy. I ordered the Shredded Beef Sichuan Style which includes shredded beef, carrots, bell peppers, and bamboo shoots sauteed with a spicy Sichuan sauce. It came with white rice. This dish was incredibly delicious and just had a hint of mild spicyness. My coworker got the Sweet & Sour Chicken and Crab Rangoons. He didn't seem to like it too much because he was used to the Americanized Chinese food like Panda Express. My other coworker got the Dragon and Phoenix which includes shrimp and slices of chicken breast sauteed with Chinese greens in a light sauce. The portions are huge and matches the prices. The workers are there to get work done, not to perform outstanding customer service. I got the Crispy Pork on Rice! I love getting this meal at these Cantonese/Chinese places. I found the pork belly to be really tasty. There was a nice marinade over the skin and meat, plus the skin was pretty crispy even when some of the pieces got a little too moist inside the container. I thought there was a generous portion of the crispy pork in my meal. There were some mustard greens in the rice plate which added nice variation in taste. I also got a small cup of complementary soup on the side which I did not try but it did smell good. Overall, I think that my meal was pretty good. I would probably come back if I am ever inside the Great Wall Supermarket.

What time do you think I finally got my order? Remember, it was placed at 4:00pm. Lo and behold, they call me up at 4:56pm. Not only that, they called me up to someone else's order. I know this because I chimed in and said it's been an hour. The order taker replied that it's only been a few minutes. I presented him the receipt. He reads it and says, "Oh." Then he tells the lady to switch the bags because mine wasn't the one they tried to hand me. No apology. No, "Thank you for your patience." Nothing whatsoever besides an, "Oh." Food is good. If they keep this system, every menu needs its own attached price sheet. As for the dishes, most were good, but the coconut rice fell flat--it was far too bland with almost no coconut flavor compared to versions I've had elsewhere. Service started strong with a seamless check-in and timely seating, but the ending was frustrating. Despite calling weeks in advance to confirm individual checks, staff insisted at the end of the meal that they could only split the bill five ways. After insisting on our original agreement, we all had to stand in a long line to check out individually at the register because they couldn't bring separate itemized bills to our table.
