Counter Service was good and pleasant though their COVID vinyl divider is a little standoffish. Thought their dining room would be open by now. They advertise great food by New York Chefs...Not! Food was not bad, not great either. Fried rice was yellow colored, definitely not NY style. Portions were more rice, less entree. The entrees tasted okay, meats were marinated well making them moist and tender, chicken, beef, and shrimp. The chicken and beef were perfectly velvety with no after taste. Panda Cafe rocks for Chinese takeout! They also offer in house dining and delivery in a certain radius. The food we have had here is always fresh, hot, and delicious. So far no complaints on anything we have had from here; we've gotten the general Tso's chicken, steamed dumplings, pan-fried dumplings, hot & sour soup, egg rolls, and crab rangoon. Just ordered take-out for lunch, and I was impressed! For just over $7, I got a huge portion of chicken and broccoli (which tasted just fine), soup, an eggroll and a chicken wing. The entree was SO huge that I have plenty for lunch tomorrow too! The ordering process was simple. I ordered and paid through Yelp (love that everything is done online -- no phone call required), and I was relieved that there was no $ minimum. Perfect for solo lunching. When I arrived at the restaurant 15 minutes later, my order was ready and waiting for me. The gentleman working the counter was very friendly, and I was out of there in seconds. The worst Chinese I've had in a long time. I went in for lunch one day, and I wondered if I had accidentally walked into a closed store - nobody there at 12:15 on a weekday. I should have followed my instinct and left, but I didn't want to be rude after an employee popped out of the back and asked what I wanted. The food was just awful. It tasted fake, or spoiled, or both. I was really hungry, but I barely ate a quarter of my food, and just threw away the rest it was so bad. The sauce tasted like motor oil, the chicken was the lowest quality rubber available, and even the broccoli was more or less wilted. The rice had been pretty obviously overcooked too. And by overcooked, I mean last week and just warmed up when someone came in. I am never going back, and if someone tries to take me I will walk someplace else first. read more

Panda Cafe has became my regular Chinese delivery restaurant. It's not a traditional Chinese food but, Americanized yummy Chinese foods. I often order House Egg Foo Young, pretty much the kitchen sink of all the egg foo young on the menu, but make sure to pour plenty of the brown sauce, without the sauce it will taste greasy. Now they serve some Thai curry, but it's not saucy curry, it's a stir fly cooked in Thai curry, so you'll get plenty of meat and vegetables. I finally found a Good Chinese place near my job. There are so many BUT Panda Cafe is yummy. There are so MANY choices to choose from. My FAVORITE of course are Chicken Wing and Mei Fun. The food was delicious and on time. I ordered on GrubHub (which they have a $12 minimum for.) My only complaint is that they did not read any of my special requests. If I could give negative stars, I would. I ordered online and was given a 45-55 minute estimate for delivery. Seemed reasonable. An hour and a half later, no food. I tried calling the restaurant twice and was immediately sent to voicemail both times (during business hours). I called the delivery service for help, they were able to contact someone at the store that only said there was "an issue" but they would have my food ready in 15 minutes, delivered in 20 minutes. Lies!!!! I waited another 45 minutes and was sent to voicemail again. I called the delivery service, but they couldn't get through to anyone at the restaurant so they had to cancel the order and refund my money. Two and a half hours wasted and now I'm hangry. Again, here I am. This place has good food, but they have no idea what customer service is and again this evening as always, just plain rude. They must make really good money and could care less on maintaining and adding to their customer base. Again, the older women who is almost aways there, doesn't know how to say, "Hi, Hello, please, nor thank you". -- I fortunately, didn't have an exchange with them, but I observed their, 'I couldn't careless attitude' about their customers with another customer in line, ahead of me. It was a very small misunderstanding, from what I could tell and the restaurant owner/employee wanted to stand their ground over literally - French fries. Very petty and extremely greedy of them not to immediately take care of this problem before it got so out of control and made other customers, including myself, wait for orders that were bought and paid for online. -- Panda Cafe, you're rude, uncaring and money grubbers. You truly don't care about your customers and obviously care more about filling up your bank accounts instead of also being a caring and respectable business.
