It's difficult to find a good chinese spot close to my residence.So I was really happy to find this one with such good reviews from my fellow yelpers. Deciding to pick up something for dinner, I went with some of my trusted choices to see and rate their fare. Service was polite and super fast. They offer Chinese, Japanese and, now, Thai entrees, so good for groups with different preferences. Also, they have happy Hour pricing on select rolls - BONUS! Their Chinese is standard flavor/preparation. Though, tiny thing - no fortune cookies. Though I went during the day - during off peak lunch hours - I could tell that they have a pretty decent following merely the ample amount of seating. We have eaten at this restaurant several times. The service is great and the staff is friendly. The lady at the front desk always says "nice to see you again". When we were ready to leave this evening, it was raining very hard. I told my wife I would pull the car around closer and pick her up. She was standing outside waiting and then the lady at the front deck came out with an umbrella and walked my wife to the car. Now that's service! read more

I have enjoyed Oriental Cuisine 4 times now - twice for take out and twice for dine-in lunch. The lunch special is 5 stars - great food, price and service! The take out has been 3 stars but cant always tie that directly to the restaurant when a third party is involved. Dining in will be our go to now. It's a large spot, very clean and you can actually get in and out on the lunch hour. Hot and sour soup is great - as are the egg rolls. You also get a small duck sauce and mustard on the table and the mustard is AMAZING. I've tried Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken and general Tao's chicken... would order any of them again! Some of it was pretty good; some of it not so good. I had the pork egg foo young. I've been eating egg foo young for years, and I've never quite seen "gravy" like this restaurant serves. It tasted more like the sauce on spareribs - not really what I wanted or expected. The egg foo young itself was pretty good though. The salt and pepper shrimp are decent, but they had no jalapeños and needed more onions and peppers and more seasoning; what was there was good, but it needed more. Mapo tofu was pretty good but not memorable. I was hoping for a little bit better from the food based on the reviews. But for me, nothing compares to what you get on Buford Highway. read more

Their Lo Mein noodles are absolutely the best -- they make my workday so much better! The restaurant offers lunch specials on DoorDash, which makes it easy to enjoy an affordable meal without sacrificing quality. I order their Lo Mein at least once a week, and it never disappoints! There's a new Chinese (and sushi) restaurant over in Sweet Apple Village which turned out to be an immediate upgrade for my lunch excursions over my normal spot, Chin Chin. The interior of Oriental Cuisine was surprisingly modern, offering a clean and contemporary dining experience. It's bright and airy with plenty of booth seating. The only oddity was the piano track that I realized was on a continuous loop. The service was friendly and welcoming, though. I went right to the lunch special and found something to try -- tofu and vegetables. I asked for it medium heat ... and uh, let's just say it was a touch hotter than expected. YMMV. It came out really fresh, though. Usually when you get the combo special, the other things -- eggroll and soup -- feel like afterthoughts. It wasn't though. The soup was served as hot as lava. The eggroll tasted great. I'm looking forward to having Oriental Cuisine on the rotation and trying all of their dishes. read more

Do not eat here unless you want the worst food poisoning of your life. My husband wanted to try a new takeout place but were extremely disappointed. We ordered the Mongolian beef, egg rolls, crab rangoons, and the chicken with vegetables. I ate the chicken with vegetables and now have food poisoning. Would not recommend. read more

We have been desperate to find a new american chinese food place. I miss my favorite spot in Miami which was the perfect representation of what you can get in the northeast. The food here was good and we would likely order again, but it wasn't everything I wanted it to be. The special fried rice needed soy sauce which was a simple fix. I really wish it had roast pork in it, but it was just chicken, shrimp, and steak. The lo mein, sesame chicken, and chicken wings were all good. The salt and pepper calamari was probably my favorite, but I needed to add salt to it when we got home. It was perfectly crispy and light. The crab rangoon had excellent flavor and I love the duck sauce it was served with, but they were not nearly full enough. I was hoping the dumplings were pan fried and not deep fried so we didn't really care for these. They were quite disappointing and hardly had any filling in them. I wouldn't get them again. All in all it was a solid meal. We would eat here again and try some other dishes for sure. read more

Gosh, I had rated this place five stars when they first opened because I so wanted them to succeed and they seemed like they really cared. The food used to be so good as well. Ordered two sushi rolls: Alaskan roll and a California roll. They made the California roll with mayonnaise and did not properly make the Alaskan roll with the crab salad as listed in menu. My son loves California rolls but hates mayonnaise which is specifically why we always order them for him. When we took them back to the store, which was a pain to begin with, the lady in the hostess stand kept arguing with us about the California roll that it was cream cheese or that the cream cheese/mayonnaise was only in one piece (which it obviously was not). Again, their own menu specifically states what's in the California roll and there is neither cream cheese nor mayonnaise. This lady seemed more intent on arguing and saving money than correcting the restaurant's mistake and giving us the appropriate food that we ordered. So sad but definitely going to think twice in future about going back here. Kind of unbelievable level of bad service and having to have an argument over the simplest of rolls, a California roll, is aggravation that no one needs. read more

We had wonton -fresh wonton -delicious and egg drop which was equally as good. Amazing spot for chinese food! I got the kung pao chicken with egg drop soup and was surprised by the low lunch special price. The chicken is very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. I love all the different veggies that come with the dish. Service was very quick and our server was very nice and answered all of our questions about the menu. I've tried really hard to like this place because it's so close to home for us. But this last time was probably it for us. Our family loves Chinese food, my husband is Chinese so we crave it pretty regularly. We've typically gone to Chin Chin but decided to try this place (yesterday was our second time). The first time we went, it took forever to get water and our order. Once the food came out, the salt and pepper shrimp was so over fried, i could hear my teeth grinding against the over fried batter. So yea, first time, poor experience, we figured it was because they were new. We went back yesterday. It took forever for a waiter to come by our table. The restaurant was not packed by the way. It took forever for our waters to come out once we ordered. We ordered Mongolian shrimp, hunan pork, two kids meals, tuna carpaccio, and a roll. The food took forever to come out and was incorrect. Mongolian shrimp was okay. The Hunan pork was TERRIBLE. The pork was so so overcooked and dried. And then of course our carpaccio and sushi roll was never even put in so never came out. We just asked for the check, took the waiter forever to even grab the check and card. Thankfully my husband had cash. So we left cash and dipped. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how in the heck they're still in business. If you're looking for good Chinese food, this is not it. read more

Hit or miss. Last time we ate here it was great. Whoever cooked on 5/2 around 5pm was trash. The entire order of Mongolian beef, lo mein, sesame chkn, kao pao shrimp/chkn/beef, egg drop & hot sour soup was absolutely horrible. Simply made for the trash. We drove out of our way to take out from here and were greatly disappointed. It was slop. No care at all was taken to prepare this food. And the place wasnt busy so no excuse. We seriously want a refund or at least a credit for the $56 we spend to only throw it in the trash. It was that bad. We ended up ordering pizza to replace this garbage that we couldnt eat. How could EVERYTHING turn out bad? We were so upset. If we could give zero stars we would. read more
