Amazing Thai dishes. The accommodated our party of 6 for a birthday celebration. Complimentary bday dessert! Appetizers: 5/5 Shrimp roll Marinated with a delicious dip. 4/5 Fried Calamari could have had more flavor. Dinners: 5/5 Shrimp Pad Mama we split this dish. Portion is very generous. 5/5 Shrimp Green Curry. A little spicy which was perfect. 5/5 Chicken Drunken Noodles which was very flavorful. Some in our party were limited to seafood due to Friday Lent. Can't wait to come back to try the dishes with Chicken or The beef. read more

Went here for a birthday dinner, and really enjoyed my food! The service was absolutely impeccable! The only thing I would recommend is larger table for party of 6+. We had a party of six and the table was a little bit tight. read more

The distance I drove to get her was worth it. My service was fast and friendly. I had the Gyoza fried which was my least favorite of my meal. The Spring Rolls was ok nothing special. However the Masaman Curry with seafood was so very good. Which made the 50 minutes drive worth it. The flavor of the curry was some of the best I've had and it was priced reasonably. Overall good place to visit. They are opening a location in Fayetteville which I plan to visit. read more

Great food and vibe. Fun little space. Nice service. Spring roll appetizer: 2/5. No flavor, only crunch and hot out of fryer Chicken larb: 4/5. Perfect blend of lime and fish sauce. Slight sweetness. Best thing we had Basil chicken: 4/5. Not as good as the larb, but just fine. A little oil heavy so it reminded me more of Chinese food, basil saved it. read more

Rickshaw Thai Kitchen - Shrimp, chicken and Pork Dumplings - Thai Near Me - Alpharetta, Georgia

THE BEST THAI FOOD I've had in a LONG time. Think of Rickshaw as what you typically find in a Thai menu, but with the flavor you are missing. They have a great drink menu with some really cool cocktail options. I cant remember the name of the one we got, but it was super fresh and delicious (something with Rum) The Cheese Rolls and Spring Rolls are a must. Not exaggerating- these are the best spring rolls I've ever had. Right texture, right filling, right dipping sauce (chef's kiss). My husband got the Drunken Noodle and I got the Ramen Seafood. The Drunken Noodle is so flavorful and has a really generous meat portion. The real star are the noodles here - they have a nice texture. My favorite was the Ramen Seafood. It has a range of seafood which was all cooked perfectly and the flavors really worked well together. Service was amazing and the restaurant is very nice. There is a beautiful upstairs that I can't wait to try when it's not 100 degrees outside. It's a bit pricier than your local Thai place but it's worth it. I wish Rickshaw was closer because I would order from them regularly. We will definitely be back. If you want great Thai food, great drinks, cool vibes and great service, this is a great pick! read more

Oh. My. Glutenous. Heart. This was amazing. Kids and dad away for the weekend left me with opportunity to try Rickshaw takeaway and not have to share (or so I thought). I ordered the Thai Basil with a bit of heat. So. So. So. Dang good. I had a hard time deciding when to stop eating. At 1/2 way, I said whoa. Family home the next day and my husband ate my leftovers that I was craving. Dang it! And now I seriously can't stop thinking about it. We will be going back again and again and again.... read more

I love the Halloween drinks and decor! Super clean bathroom. Great food and prices! I can't wait to see Thanksgiving decor! Great service

I've come here a number of times for lunch as their dinner menu is a bit expensive, in my opinion. The food is quite good, always served hot and fresh, and service is always on point. I've ordered the lunch portion of Drunken Noodles with Chicken, Pad Thai with Chicken, and Pad See Ew with Chicken. All meals were delicious!! You can tell them how spicy you'd like it or how it spicy you'd like it and they'll make it just for you. Parking is free and plentiful. They also have a second floor which is really nice in the Spring and Summer seasons. We definitely trying this restaurant. You'll come back for more! read more

First visit for dinner at Rickshaw Thai with our good friends the Steidings. (I believe this is on the site of the old Roswell Sonic on Rt. 9.). Very nice 2 story building and our server, Alejandra, did a wonderful job taking care of us. They have a really good selection of Thai dishes. We tried several different appetizers. Notable were the giant calamari rings (which resembled an order of onion rings) but with no tentacles and a soy-like dipping sauce. I had the pad-Thai with tofu which was a huge serving (good for sharing) but I ordered it "spicier than normal". It was very spicy - but still delicious - and a lot came home with us. The Thai ice tea was sweet and vanilla tasting - I had two of those. It's nice to know we have a Thai restaurant so close to our home. We will return! read more

Fantastic home cooking, when you get it. Order the main meal menu items and you will be astounded with the complexity, balance and forwardness of the spices. Potions sizes are small. I had to order an appetizer after the meal and that was after an appetizer before the main meal. Totally new experience with a version of Num Tok. Absolutely blows your tastebuds into heaven. Companion's choice was Yum Woon Sen and it was great. Service was ok. Our waiter was ok. Staff tended to congregate and talk amongst themselves instead of paying attention to the table. Unfortunately, there are items that don't seem homemade. Vegetable rolls and dumplings both taste like frozen product from H-Mart. Dumplings overcooked to the point of disintegration and rolls so sad I felt bad for the chef who was forced to serve them. Overall, great homestyle products for main menu items. This place needs to focus on homemade and delete all frozen products from the menu. Service attention is in needed. read more

Nice spot with indoor and outdoor seating. We stopped in for lunch. It wasn't too crowded so we were seated quickly with an option to sit inside or outside. We opted for indoor seating. To start we got the cheese rolls. It was a nice amount of cheese and crab. Had some nice flavor to it. I got the red curry with tofu. I recommend getting Thai hot if you like spicy because the hot wasn't spicy enough. Hubby got his usual, which is the basil fried rice Thai hot with chicken. He liked it. Our service was good. We liked the modern indoor/outdoor vibe. read more

Wanted to love this place. It's a cool vibe. Bartender was super nice (Jameson?). But the satay chicken was so over cooked it was fibrous and dry. (The peanut sauce was good though). The shrimp rolls were flavorless. read more

I was in the area and went to Yelp to check lunch spots and this came up and was in one of my collections. When I arrived it was empty, no customers only employees. I was greeted by the staff and walked to a very large and comfortable booth. I was a little nervous that it was empty but it had pretty decent reviews online. My waitress had a smile, gave me time to order and made a recommendation on the spice level and hot was perfect! The basil fried rice with shrimp was packed full of flavor and delicious fresh veggies, it was a colorful dish that was appealing to these eyes. The hot spice level was perfect! I really didn't care for the spring roll, it was too dry and not flavorful. I enjoyed the Thai ice tea, it was a refreshing treat. While dining one more person walked in and dined in. Overall I really enjoyed my meal and the service, I'll be back! read more

I love some good Thai food so decided to try this place on a Sunday for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside on the patio, which was very cute and enjoyable to sit at. I ordered a chicken pad Thai, and the food was brought out very promptly. Overall, I thought the pad Thai was decent. It isn't the best pad Thai that I've had- The sauce was a little sweeter than what I generally like for pad Thais. There was lots of chicken in the dish and it was very tender. The portion, in my opinion, was also on the smaller side, especially given the higher price of the entree (lunch specials don't apply on weekends). I would be more inclined to go back for the lunch special on a weekday as it didn't seem worth the higher standard price. The service was great! We went right at opening so there weren't many others. read more

This is one of the nicest looking Thai restaurants in North Fulton. It especially looks fancy at night, with the cool lighting. You can sit outdoors on the deck, but I haven't done that yet. We've dined-in and gotten take-out, and have had really good experiences. Our favorite dishes are the street basil chicken, drunken noodle, and basil fried rice. The pad thai and red curry were decent, but I wouldn't order those again. Unfortunately, the prices are quite high (about $17 entrees). On the bright side, they do have a kids' menu. So you aren't stuck buying kids pricey entrees. Another nice touch is that they have Asian beers on tap, which is something most Thai restaurants don't have. read more

You always tell a great Thai restaurant by their Pad Thai. Which Rickshaw definitely Pad Thai was on point! Portions were substantial for dinner. I love the vibe and the decor of this place. Jameson was great, checking on us frequently since you always need more water if your dish has "heat". This will be my GO TO Thai in the area. read more

Was very excited to visit this place, seems very cool but unfortunately food is subpar. They tend to get busy on fridays and weekend. They have inside, rooftop and patio seating. I havent had a chance to dine in. I got basil fried rice, spring rolls, pad thai. My pickup orders were ready so fast on both my visits. The food didnt taste great, the meat was rubbery and barely any veggies. Prices are way too high for the food quality. Decent parking within the restaurant. read more

Didn't know the restaurant was open for Dine in and Dine-in at any place is just a whole new experience. Being a new setup in my locality and a great lover of Thai food (especially Fried rice) walked in with my friend and the ambience was so classy and rich. Being a vegetarian or a non-meat eater, I ordered a Basil Thai Fried rice with Tofu and my friend ordered Red Thai Curry (Thai Hot) with Tofu. The Fried was medium spice and it wasn't spicy like other places, atleast not the traditional Indian spicy level. The fried rice was good and was like just any other Fried rice served around Alpharetta/Atlanta region. The quantity was good for one person and can be completed in one go. Had a spoonful of Red Thai Curry and that was just good. Nothing new. That wasn't actually not so spicy either. Next is the dessert where we ordered Fried Banana with Ice cream and that was the best thing I have ever had at a Thai place. Ice cream was Vanilla and it certainly tasted unique from other ice creams along with Chocolate syrup. I would highly recommend this barring aside the deep fried heavy oil content. Overall a good visit if you want to try something apart from the usual ones in your locality. But highly priced comparing the other Thai restaurants near my house, for it wasn't so different from others I have tried. Good place for a dinner date for they have a Bar as well. Bottomline: High priced, Dessert lovers, Not so unique Mains, Not spicy MY PICK: Fried Banana with Ice cream read more

Nice Thai spot. The food was good. Nothing wowed me, but the quality was solid. There were not any Thai people working in the restaurant during our visit, at least in the areas visible to patrons, so I'm not sure how authentic it is. The food tasted good though. There are several vegan options, similar to most American Thai restaurants. I had the veggie spring rolls and panang curry (which is usually made with coconut milk). The service was good. Our waitress was very friendly. The menu is a little on the pricier side compared to comparable restaurants in the area. Decor is nice and ambiance is right for a date night or a family outing. read more

Hands down the best Thai food I have ever had. A great thing is the priced are very comparable to any other Thai food in the area, but the food is unlike anything I've ever had. Compared to a lot of restaurants in the industry, Thai restaurants have a high success rate because they control food cost well by seeking out low-cost ingredients but cooking them well. But this place uses the best ingredients and cooks them better than any Thai restaurant you can go to. Let's just start with the soups. I love hot and sour soup and typically a hot and sour soup is made from a mix with water and they may put a small bite of tofu and about a quarter of an ounce of cabbage in there. This place made their hot and sour soup from scratch that was loaded with all types of exotic mushrooms, tofu and vegetables. The flavor was unlike any I've ever had. My wife, who doesn't even like hot and sour soup, ate a little bit too much of mine after I gave her a bite. We could say the exact same thing about our entrees and appetizers and all the food we had here. One thing that really sets this place apart is they have an incredible bar program too. They have excellent and well thought out wine choices. They have incredible cocktails that rival the best cocktail bars out there and they put as much time and thought into the drink menu as they have the food. It's not a big place but it's a good looking place and the employees were really excellent, knowledgeable and on top of every moment. This was just going to be a casual dinner for my wife and I, but ended up being one of the best restaurant experiences we've had in a long time. We are certainly going to return very often read more

Good thai! We went on a Friday night and were able to walk in. Our server Diego was awesome and made for a great night. We started with the gyoza that you can choose to have steamed for fried. We went with the fried and regretted our choice. We were thinking they'd be pan fried but they were deep fried and very crunchy. For our meals we did the krapow gai and drunken noodles with chicken. The basil chicken was great but the noodles on the drunken noodle were really thick and not my favorite. Something I love is the offer a side of curry sauce for $2 which we ordered and enjoyed. read more

Went during lunch. It wasn't packed but enough people were there. The inside isn't huge but it's cute and cozy I like it. They have additional seating on the outside patio and upstairs. It was cold outside so I just ate inside. My server was super sweet. Always checked on me and also gave me recommendations for my entree. I was too hungry to try anything new so I just got my usual Thai entree which was drunken noodle. And ordered a rickshaw-Rita. The drink was cute and it did what I needed it to do. The drunken noodle was okay, I think next time I need a little more heat as I chose a 2 of 5 for spice. Server did recommend a red spicy sauce it was pretty good. But that wasn't their fault I just wanted to play it safe with the spice. I would def be back to try more items on the menu. read more

I've been seeing a lot about this spot on instagram so I decided to check it out! The outside of the restaurant is super cute. Once you're inside they have bar seating options, booth seating options, and also high tops. I opted to sit at the bar and got the lychee martini and spring rolls to start off. The drink was delicious the spring rolls didn't seem anything extraordinary. Next time I'd get a different appetizer. I got the massaman curry for my entree at medium spice! It definitely brought the heat and was delish! Service was good sitting at the bar. I'll be back! read more
