TLDR: Appetizers were good, fries were great, mains were kinda mid Came here as group of 4 to use chase sapphire reserve credits. We did family style and shared several apps and mains: Free bread service: tough crust but tasty 7/10 Shrimp: good flavor well cooked little salty hot v with bread. Sauce is fantastic 8.3 French onion soup: good sweet onion flavor, good with bread, a little c salty 8.2 Clams: very good clean ocean taste, not even usually a clam guy, minor grit: 8 Fries have some of the best texture I've had, inside wish was a little fluffier 9/10 Mezzaluna: inside was a bit dry, main flavor was just meaty but not enough seasoning. 5.3/10 Duck confit: good flavor, dry and mealy I think I just don't like duck confit it's always mid 6/10 Scallop: well cooked, good flavor, slightly too b salty. Vegetables are really good. Not as good as aria Best entree 8.3 Burger: good dry age flavor, kinda hard to eat, a little dry. NFA is better. Wish it had pickle slices 7.5/10 Cheesecake has very good flavor, not overly rich with cream cheese, nice bitter note, little salty 8/10 Olive oil ice cream: wish it was actual olive oil not just drizzled in olive oil. Good ice cream though and high quality olive oil 8.1 Pear cider: might as well have just been apple hard cider, too dry for me Fantastic service though, and again the fries are very very good.
Ambiance and decor was absolutely beautiful. It was elegant and moody with dark lights and beautiful small touches. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and had great suggestions. French onion soup was delightful as was the complimentary baguette with salted butter. Neither of us were huge fans of either entree. I ordered the truffle tortellini and expected it to be truffle forward based on the waiter's suggestion. Honestly I felt it lack truffle flavor and was more cheesy and rich. The steak frite was odd- it's less of the traditional steak frite as the steak is chopped and formed into a patty. The flavor was good but it tasted like eating a hamburger. The frites were a bit over done and mostly just crispy shells. The dessert was delectable, the homemade soft serve with peaches and marshmallow was delicious and portion size was perfect for two people to split. Overall an enjoyable meal!
Came here for a date whom I later dumped, but we had a great time! I ordered the Dover sole. They brought it out whole and deboned it at the table. It was very light, flavorful and flakey. Random but the bathroom is a girls dream. It's such a loungey space with accoutrements for your breath. The waiter was super helpful with making a choice and forcing me to try something different. And he was right because the Sole was delicious
came here for the first time this past weekend and it quickly rose to my favorite restaurant in Atlanta OMG. So dark and cozy inside the restaurant everything was sooooo delicious. To start, they brought me a freshly baked loaf of GF bread and my own plate of salted butter when everyone else was eating bread. THEN I received a special marked up menu with the options that would be safe for me to eat. Had the scallops and they were divine. Also had a side of strawberries with creme and wowwwww. I could've eaten 5 of those bowls My husband got the mezzaluna which the staff described as little raviolis in Parmesan broth and he loved it. Everything 10/10, spectacular, no notes
Third time really was the charm at Little Sparrow I had made reservations three times before this and kept having to cancel because of my husband... so this time I basically dragged him in--and let me tell you, it was SO worth it. He was literally speechless by the end (which says everything). We did it right: Bread & butter service (obviously ), French onion soup that was rich and perfect, clams that disappeared way too fast, and the burger... if you know, you KNOW. She was THICCC and absolutely unreal. And then the grand finale: Snickers soft serve. Oh. My. God. 10/10, no notes. Already planning my next reservation--and this time, no cancellations
I fell in love with the ambiance of this restaurant. Drinking champagne, laughing with my husband, eating amazing food = perfect date night. For dessert share the cherry pistachio peanut brittle soft serve. We were traveling so who knows if we'll make it back but we had a special night here while in Atlanta!
This was my first time coming to Little Sparrow for brunch and it did not disappoint! I love their dinner menu and was looking forward to trying some of their brunch options. Make sure to try the french onion soup - its the best! Service is always great and it was nice seeing the space lit up with sunlight during the day time. Its nornally very dark and moody during dinner time, so this was a nice change. The prices for the brunch menu are also very reasonable. Always love coming here for a tasty meal!
Love bar blanc so of course had to try little sparrow! It gets super busy so make sure you have a reservation before you go. Parking is paid in the lot behind the restaurant and maybe they validate it but we were there all afternoon so we just paid for 5 hours for about $15. We started with their complimentary bread and butter (so AMAZING) and then shared some frites. I had the chicken schnitzel and Alex had a beef cheek ravioli. I loved everything that we had and would absolutely get it again! We ended the night with some honey and evoo ice cream and took home a takeout loaf! Service was also exceptional and we always had food on the table and waters/drinks filled!
Yes, worth the hype and wait to get in (reservation typically required for a prime night of the week!!) This was one of the coziest ambiance's I've been in in a while. The place was absolutely buzzing, so service was actually a bit slow, but our server Sean was still incredible. Among the MANY highlights to include in this culinary recap was the BREAD SERVICE with a slab of ice cream-scooped-style butter on oil to dip. YUM Nothing not to love, except the classically quaint portions of a high-end restaurant. Delicious from top to bottom!
Valet and self parking is available. This parking lot gets pretty busy because there are so many businesses in the area. We made reservations via open table. The host called the day before and checked in which was nice. I did indicate that we were celebrating a birthday and having our valentines celebration. We were sat promptly. As far as service, he was informative, provided recommendations. He got us a round of drinks for a celebratory birthday toast that was comped. The server that brought the drinks spilled 3 drinks on one of my friends but was very apologetic. This is where service got a little slow and again while we waited for our checks. For food starters we tried the raclette frites, hamachi, French onion soup and the Aleppo shrimp. There is also bread service. My friend who ordered the Aleppo wasn't thrilled but i really liked it. It had a good lemon zest and the pepper gave it a kick. The frites were really good- thick cut with a crispy exterior and soft fluffy interior. For entrees we had mezzaluna pasta, the burger and frites, bolognese and the scallops. I tasted the burger. It was good but not my favorite. - it wasn't crisp enough for me. I prefer a smashed burger. The Mezzaluna had braised beef. I thought it was really good. My sister had the scallops and they were good, cooked to perfection but still not sure it's worth the price since no sides and it's only 4.
Came here to try the new brunch and it was so good! We got the pancakes and a side of bacon. The pancakes were delicious and big enough to split. Keep in mind that they are super fluffy, so not your typical pancake. More cakey than usual, but I liked that. Great service per usual as well
Just thinking back on this meal I'm getting full. I loved the ambiance, and the remodel from the old JCT made the restaurant feel like a completely new space. We started for a few beverages and the house made sourdough and butter. It was delicious! For appetizers, we had the French onion soup, which was rich with the melted cheese, but complex with the flavorful broth. Next up were the frites with aioli. I don't know how they make these, but they are crispy, light and fluffy on the inside. For the entree, we shad the chicken and it was rich and complex. Dessert we kept a little lighter with the fancy soft serve with winter citrus, and it was the perfect ending to the meal.

Michelin Star Little Sparrow is one of those restaurants I look forward to whenever I'm back in Atlanta. It captures that wonderful Parisian brasserie feeling without trying too hard--the banquettes, heavy drapes, soft lighting, beautiful tableware and attentive service. Everything feels considered. And then there's the food. The menu is small, the prices are not, but they execute what they do exceptionally well. I was tucked into a beautiful banquette and taken care of by Keenan, who was lovely throughout dinner--warm, polished, knowledgeable and attentive without hovering. First things first: do not skip the bread service. The warm levain baguette arrives wrapped in Little Sparrow-branded paper with their gorgeous butter, EVOO and Maldon salt. It sounds simple. It isn't. That butter sitting in fragrant olive oil with those little pops of sea salt, smeared onto hot, crusty bread? Heaven. Sometimes the simplest things tell you everything you need to know about a kitchen. My usual order here is the chicken schnitzel, which I love, but I promised myself I would branch out. I ordered the Cabillaud Frites--cod with tartar sauce--and Little Sparrow's interpretation of fish and chips is anything but ordinary. The cod arrived as beautifully fried little rounds with a deeply golden, crisp exterior and tender, delicate fish inside. Hot, crunchy, moist, perfectly cooked. The house tartar sauce was delicious. And because apparently I needed more decadence, Keenan brought me garlic aioli for the frites. Yes, please. And those frites. Lordy. Crisp, deeply savory and dangerously easy to keep eating long after you've told yourself you're finished. Dip one into that garlic aioli and good luck stopping. I skipped cocktails this time because I was saving precious real estate for dessert. I usually order the chocolate soufflé, although I continue to wish they would rotate the soufflé flavors. Give me Grand Marnier! And at $22, that soufflé is definitely an investment in dessert theater. Instead, I took the coconut cake back to my hotel. Unfortunately, this was the one miss of the evening. It was overwhelmingly sweet and lacked the richness and complexity I expected from a kitchen operating at this level. It tasted surprisingly ordinary compared with everything that preceded it. I'd skip it next time and return to the soufflé. That small disappointment doesn't change how I feel about Little Sparrow. The dining room is beautiful. The service feels polished and gracious. Even the restrooms and little sitting area carry through the aesthetic. There is an attention to detail here that I appreciate--from the china and menus to the lighting and presentation. Little Sparrow isn't inexpensive, but I don't come here looking for inexpensive. I come because they take seemingly familiar French dishes, focus on technique and ingredients, and make them memorable. If you're anywhere near Atlanta's Westside or the Design District--or frankly, even if you're not--make the detour. Make a reservation, settle into a banquette, order the bread, and get some of that food in your face. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal. read more

We had dining credit from our CSR and made a reso for 6pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was about 30-40% full. By 6:30/7 it was a full house! From the start you are greeted by friendly staff and are seating in the restaurant's beautiful and cozy ambiance. It was a vibe for sure, with warm dimmed lights and thoughtfully designed touches. We ordered the onion soup, slow roasted beef, burger, and basque cheesecake. They started us off with the housemade baguette which was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The generous amount of butter was perfectly salted with maldon salt! The onion soup was super cheesy and rich with carmelized onions. I did wish it was a bit less thick but we still really enjoyed it. The burger was a lot larger than we thought it'd be and it was one of the best burgers we've ever had - so flavorful and juicy. Frites crispy and light. The 18oz steak was HUGE and we couldn't finish. It was also super tasty and texture was great. The basque cheesecake was yummy and had a nice balance between sweet and salty. Not too sweet. They also shared some housemade coconut chai caramels with us which was a nice touch! Can't wait to come back during our next special occasion. read more
This is a great spot that's ducked off just enough to give you the the privacy you need and the and sexy enough to make any date night feel like an adventure. The staff is very friendly, the food is prepared with close attention, and the ambiance is second to none. I can't wait to become a regular here. Pro tip: get the frites!!! read more

Embracing the beauty around me, one rosé-colored moment at a time~ Dinner @ Little Sparrow absolutely soared past my expectations This @michelinguide recommended gem in West Midtown nails that cozy, intimate & charming vibe while still delivering impeccable service & delectable food. 10/10 We ordered the Steak & Frites, Scallops & French Onion Soup, and WOW-- everything tasted amazing & full of flavors!! The French Onion Soup is def the highlight, completely soul-warming & one of the best I've ever had. We paired it w/ Matthiasson Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa for a captivating & well-balanced finish. I didn't get a chance to document much & pictures does no justice to this place. Do yourself a favor & come check it out. You can thank me later lol read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Little Sparrow When you first walk in it's absolutely beautiful! The bar is stunning and the rest of the restaurant is just as beautiful. Food is always super tasty (the French Onion soup is my fave). Most recently I tried their orange wine which was super funky, but so GOOD. And you have to save room for their soft serve at the end. The servers always do an amazing job and make the entire meal a fab experience. read more

We were in for dinner tonight. The fries with my meal were cold, greasy, and black. My husband's coffee was ice cold, and the coconut cake I purchased to go tastes and looks like it is OLD. Underwhelmed and disappointed. Food was MEH. Save your money and dine elsewhere. PLENTY of better places to dine. Little Sparrow - DO BETTER. read more
Wednesday 6pm - My colleagues and I were visiting from nyc some local clients and left it up to them to choose the restaurant. What a great choice , loved the bistro feel (similar to pastis in the city ) , decor , the service was impeccable. We took the servers starters recommendations and had the shrimp , mussels while I chose the baguette , butter, and the rilette ( different but good from the ones I had , this one was Anchony based ) . Strangely enough, for main, we have burgers and steaks ( 3 burgers and 4 steaks ). Verdict - burger was surpreme and if you're feeling adventurous and don't mind the strong cheese smell of raclette, live a little ( which I did and loved it ). Desserts didn't disappoint from the chocolate soufflé and the ice cream . Post dinner while most headed home , I decided to enjoy another old fashioned at their beautiful bar . Next trip when it's a tad warmer , I want to try the outdoor area , beautifully decorated and perfect for a group of friends on a nice day sipping some wine and enjoying the other dishes I didn't get to try . read more
Little Sparrow delivers an old-world charm that makes for a truly memorable dining experience. The dim lighting, soft background music, and lively conversation create the perfect atmosphere. Our waiter was an absolute pleasure--knowledgeable, engaging, and helped us plan a wonderful French dining journey. We started with the bread service: a warm levain baguette served with EVOO and rich, creamy butter. I followed that with the Onion Soup Gratinée--beautifully melted cheese over a semi-sweet, flavorful broth. (Tip: it's delicious enough to finish, but save room for what's next.) For my main course, I had the Dover Sole Meunière. The presentation was part of the magic--the waiter expertly deboned the fish tableside--and it paired perfectly with the tender pole beans that had a subtle, edamame-like flavor. Though I was full, I couldn't skip dessert and went for the Fancy Soft-Serve with EVOO, honey, and fennel pollen. It was light, unique, and absolutely worth it. Two hours flew by in what felt like minutes. We were weary to try French food because we love flavor and WOW THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The best French onion soup hands down, amazing bread service, delicious scallops, the cheese appetizer with hazelnuts was so flavorful as well! Don't sleep on the frites- very crispy and fresh--loved the garlic aoli to dip and it was top notch- we got cheese on half the frites! The drinks were all so so good! We went upstairs to the cute bar they have and grabbed some espresso martinis to end the night! The ambiance is so adorable! read more
A very classy establishment with waiters in waistcoats, custom crafted menus, decorative plates, and beautiful decor. The jazz is a bit cliche but somewhat helps captures a 1938 Paris vibe. The valet had not set up when we arrived, and made us move our car after parking because those spots are not marked. Most of the service was attentive, although our waiter didn't visit our table often enough and I couldn't get a drink refill as he was out in the courtyard socializing with his coworkers. The food is great and the baguette was perfection. I had the La Vie en Rose, which is ground steak made from ground NY strip. It was served with nice crispy fries. My wife had the burger and thought it was great and the onions are sauteed rather than caramelized, which is a nice touch since it offered a nice crunch and didn't bring an overpowering sweetness to it. read more
Yummm!!! Was recommended this spot while I was in town. A girlfriend and I stopped by and sat at the bar. This spot is so cute! Loved the interior and I'll say the bathroom is lovely. Girls love a nice bathroom. Drinks were great and our bartender was solid. Food was amazing! We started with the shrimp which we both really liked, amazing flavor. Had a great experience at Little Sparow! Thankyou to Z for the amazing service. The food was what I would typically expect from a French style restaurant in the United States! We enjoyed the frites and fluke crudo. There's definitely something to be said for a fry that is truly prepped before it hits the oil, and then rolled around and duck fat. True decadence, and French cuisine. While the Edith steak was presented well, it left a bit to be desired by way of value for the price of $90. I love a good steak just as much as anyone else, but I've had tastier steaks for a fraction of the price and around the same size. My hope is that the price reflects the quality of the meat. While pieces of it were medium, as we ordered, it became too rare as we reach the middle, and I had to stop eating it. He opted not to order drinks that evening, and rightfully so because the food was very filling. All in all, I did enjoy my experience here and I think I may return just to try that three sausage bolognese! read more

Little Sparrow was a perfect spot to enjoy a nice dinner out with my brother-in-law while we were visiting Atlanta! We heard they did raclette fries, and they were delicious, especially with the garlic aioli on the side too! Definitely on the pricier side but worth it for the quality of the meal we had. This is such an amazing French-inspired restaurant in Atlanta! The vibes inside are so nice and cozy, with the darker lighting and cute decoration details on the walls. I started with a cocktail, the Belleville, and it was delicious! For appetizers, I tried the French Onion soup, which is the best I've had in Atlanta and the most similar to the one I've had in France. The bread service baguette and butter were also really fresh and tasty. We tried a variety of entrees and sides, and the burger was definitely the standout. This was the best burger I've ever had and the fries that went with it were also amazing. I highly recommend trying the burger if you've never had it here before. I also really liked the chicken and the brussel sprouts. Service was also very good and made for a very enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely come back for an upscale meal here! read more

The French onion soup and bread with butter was amazing!!! The soup was loaded with cheese and had two cubes if French bread underneath. Not sure how they did it but the bread wasn't fully soggy! I also ordered the schnitzel and potatoes. I ate half and the rest has been sitting in my fridge untouched. The snitezel was crispy with a butter sauce on it but lacked flavor in my opinion. The potatoes looked really nice but also lacked flavor. The potatoes were nice and soft but had no garlic or pepper seasoning and it made for a bland side dish. I'd definitely return and order the French onion soup again and give another main a shit but I won't order the chicken schnitzel again. I also order a drink that was tasty. Top tier flavors of Atlanta! I had a pretty hot date last night and it was all the more excellent due to the atmosphere, flavors, and service! Daniella was awesome! She recommended great options and recognized what our tastes were based on previous dishes that we ordered! She was not short of being a tour guide! Thanks! That bread and salted butter! Omg. Do NOT stop smothering the bread in the butter. That's what it's there's for. I felt like Julia Child for a moment there slapping on another slab of butter. Frittes were the best thing I have had! Holy. Moly. They are crunchy. Salty. And dipping in aïoli is EVERYTHING! Garlic. Crema. Whipped heaven! Main courses. Poulet was homy. But elevated. And surprising not a heavy dish. I enjoyed the dark meat with the savory flavors stacked with it. Schnitzel- my first time ever tasting this dish. So I have nothing to compare it to. But this set the bar high! I believe it's a fillet fried chicken with micro greens on top! Looked like a huge thing of cilantro on top, but NO. It was a delicious salad! This was my fave main dish. I never. Ever. Eat dessert. But Daniella told us we must! And when the tour guide makes a gentle nudge- you go! The raspberry tart was like sorbet with a pie crust. And paired with an aperitif- wow! An incredible dining experience, and one of the best I've had in a while. The decor of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The intimate lighting really set the mood. Daniella was our server, she was AMAZING. My friends had been there before, but it was my first time. For drinks, we ordered the Encore! Encore!- now the drinks come with salt on the rim, but I asked for mine to have sugar instead. We all loved the encore so much, that we ordered 2 rounds of it. They bring you a nice warm baguette and THEE softest butter for starters. If all I ate was the bread, I would've been satisfied, who doesn't love bread?! For our hors d'oeuvres, we ordered the Jasper Hill Harbison (omggg) and the Onion Soup Gratinee. Again, if this was all I had for the night...MORE than satisfied. The Jasper Hill Harbison paired with the baguette??? I just had the biggest smile on my face on how great everything tasted, and the QUALITY of the food too. At this point, I was halfway full, but as soon as I saw my dinner plate headed towards me, my stomach was open for business. We all ordered the Burger. Ya'll...it was the prettiest burger I've ever seen. The taste though? WOW. I ordered mine medium-well. It was seasoned so well that low key didn't even need ketchup. The frites that were paired with it? OMGGG. The frites were paired with an aioli sauce (delish!). I was stuffed, but it was all so good, I pushed myself to take a few more bites! Even with being full, ya'll know I am greedy! so we ordered the Basque Cheesecake. To my surprise it was delicious, I say that because I wasn't sure how olive oil was going to mesh with cheesecake, but it is something I'd definitely order again. I'm so grateful my friends introduced me to this. This was more than a delicious meal, it was a quality meal, and a quality experience.
