Amazing staff and food is delicious, although their portion size was inconsistent. I went twice, with the dish I ate being the reason I came back, but was quite underwhelmed by the amount of food provided (photos below for comparison).

Second time at Kitty Dare, and I don't think I would prioritize going back again. I had the shrimp pasta dish which was ok but not super exciting. The hugo cocktail drink was great, that was my favorite part of my meal. I forgot the name of the other dish, but I remember it wasn't cooked very well. The service was kind of slow despite us going on a weekday night. The interior of the restaurant was cool though, and the ambiance was nice--not too bright and not too dark. Overall, the experience was ok.

Love the place. Took my daughter and her boyfriend on a whim. Excellent luck, because it was amazing. Not one dish missed. I love that it covers multiple dishes across the Mediterranean. The ambiance is great as well. Can be a great date night and get all classy or go casual. We had the labneh, which was creamy and delicious. The hummus was different as it had peas but it was excellent. I'd recommend getting both. We had three other dishes, the chicken, the melanzane, an bucatini and shrimp. All were great. The chicken was juicy and seasoned really well and the saffron rice cakes were amazing. The Melanzane had no protein but was very filling and was a traditional Italian dish with a giant burrata ball to make it creamy. The bucatini noodles were al dente and shrimp was juicy. Overall a great meal. I definitely would recommend if you are looking for a great ambiance and great food.

Love everything about this place! We dined for NYE and everything was exceptional. We had a 5 pm reservation but were running a few minutes late so I called the restaurant to let them know. When we got there, we were checked in and seated right away. Our server brought us water and gave us a few minutes to look through the menu. I got the Hugo and my husband the Paige. We also started with the tunisi eggplant. The eggplant was served with warm ciabatta bread and was so flavorful. For entrees, I ordered the lamb burger and Caesar salad. My husband got their steak special for the night. We both enjoyed our meals. Loved that the salad had fried capers. The lamb burger was a little too salty for me but was very flavorful. Best part was side of fries it was served with! I highly recommend this place. Would be a good place for date night - it's casual but since it's NYE, some people were dressed up. Definitely make a reservation since it's a smaller restaurant. Street parking is available.

This restaurant has been on my radar since it opened because The Last Resort was my favorite restaurant in Athens while I was in school at UGA. I was in Atlanta for work this week so I was finally able to try it out. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 7pm reservation and our table wasn't ready so we went to get a drink at the bar. At 7:10 we went and checked on the table again and they asked for our name again and then said it was ready. Before moving to our table we asked if we needed to close out our tab or if it could be transferred to the table and they told us that it could be transferred. Halfway through our meal our waiter brought us the bill and told us that we left the bar without closing it out as if we may have been drinking and dashing. The only reason this rubbed me the wrong way is because we specifically asked about this before leaving the bar. For dinner we ordered a bunch of items to share since we knew we wouldn't be able to come back any time soon. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with suggestions though I feel he could have been more forthcoming about the portion sizes. The portions were absolutely enormous! The half size caesar salad was certainly as large as a full size elsewhere and my Berbere chicken came on top of a veritable mountain of hummus. It felt so wasteful because we couldn't take anything to go as we were staying in a hotel. I think we would have been less flabbergasted by portion size if we have been able to take our leftovers with us. Our favorite dish of the night was hands down the Tunisi eggplant. It was warm and decadent and I would have been happy eating my chicken with just a side of this eggplant. At the end of the meal we didn't have any space for dessert so I cannot speak to that but overall we mostly enjoyed our dinner. We felt meh about the Caesar and felt the fried olives could have used a dipping sauce (possibly tzatziki) but the off menu lamb stew special, the feta fries and the chicken were all very good if a little daunting in size.

I went here with my friend to celebrate my birthday and we really love it! Ambiance is perfect for an intimate celebration. Music is good and not too loud. Service crews are friendly. Food is perfect! Love their ceasar salad. I would go back again. P.S. This place is perfect for dates as well!

This restaurant has great ambiance and service. Their food is excellent and they have a great wine list. The lamb burger was delicious and so was the lasagna. Highly recommended this restaurant.

I absolutely loved my visit to Kitty Dare. We came here on a Friday night on a reservation and it was quite packed. I absolutely loved the ambiance here as it was dimly lit and intentionally decorated to give the Mediterranean vibe with the whites and blues. We ordered a lot of small items to share as we weren't that hungry, but still wanted to sample wheat Kitty Dare had to offer. We had the charcuterie board with duck prosciutto, lamb sujuk, Spanish saichichon, Humboldt Fog, and mahon. Our server helped us with these choices, and I don't regret any of them. The star of the show had to be the honey. I'm not usually a big fan of honey, but this one was heavenly. It was so sweet and syrupy that I had to ask for the name of it to get it for myself. Ziyad Pure Bee Honeycomb - by the way. We also ordred Oregano & Feta Fries, Tunisi Eggplant, and Bucatini & Shrimp pasta. Between these, the pasta was my favorite. Kitty Dare was one of my favorite spots during my visit, and I would highly recommend it.

10/10 From start to finish! The warm, chill vibe was everything we wanted for a date night. Waitress Chelsea was kind and helpful with menu suggestions. We started with the Tunis Eggplant app, which changed my life, rich and creamy with fresh ciabatta. I could easily eat that every day! Also the Greek salad, fresh and light with no lettuce, just like Greece! For entrees we had the lamb lasagna and the shrimp bucatini, both outstanding. Of course we had to finish with the white chocolate cheesecake which was also amazing. A delightful experience all around, excited to go back for brunch!

I didn't realize that the two were connected! FYI, if you sit downstairs, you'll be seated next to where the live music performers will be playing, so it will be louder there. As for the drinks, I tried the Zombie. I loved it so much, I ordered a second one instead of trying a different one! It tasted sweet and slightly tropical with the rum and spiced liqueur. It also had some absinthe, which I was worried about when I first ordered it since I hate the taste of it (not a big fan of black licorice flavors), but I didn't taste it at all! Our server, Robert, was fantastic--attentive without being overbearing. He made great recommendations and was happy to move us from a small table to a more comfortable booth when we asked. They offer a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, but we opted for "Mocktail #2," which was pink, fruity, and refreshing with watermelon, mint, and lime soda. We started with the Chargrilled Louisiana Oysters, which were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious--honestly, the best I've ever had. The Volcano Roll was also great--generous in size and perfect for sharing. It's listed as having "spicy crab," but I didn't find it spicy at all (a plus for me!). If you want more heat, wasabi is served on the side. For entrees, I had the Salmon Teriyaki and my husband had the Braised Beef. My salmon was perfectly cooked and came with fluffy white rice and mixed vegetables. But he definitely won the entree round--his beef was tender, flavorful, and served with what tasted like sweet mashed potatoes (the menu said red potatoes). The glazed carrots were slightly firm but still tasty. To top it all off, we were served a mini chocolate cake with whipped vanilla icing--soft, rich, and perfect for sharing. The inside isn't the largest resource been to, but has plenty of seating. The atmosphere is relaxed and we saw people dressed up and down. Overall, we had a great experience. There's no pressure, no strict dress code--just a come-as-you-are energy, and people genuinely receive you that way. Within five minutes of being there, I already felt comfortable. Everyone was so friendly--the bartenders, the people around us, even the random interactions felt warm and easy. The space itself is really cool too. They have artwork featuring icons like Prince, Tupac, and Biggie, which added to the overall atmosphere. We ordered the King Peach (I believe it had bourbon--I did take a picture of the menu, though it's a little cut off), and it was really good. Smooth, flavorful, and easy to sip. I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

Italian Steakhouse Says It All - The Best of All Worlds…read more Walked into IL Premio on a Monday night and was told there was an hour wait for a table, so I headed to the bar- fortunately, a seat was open. I started with one of my favorite Reposados by Herradura. For my Crudi, I ordered the Ricciola alla Puttanesca, what i thought was going to be a classic Italian seafood dish that traditionally features ricciola (Italian amberjack) in puttanesca sauce. The menu noted it was made with yellowtail, which piqued my curiosity. I expected the ricciola to be pan-seared or lightly grilled and finished with the sauce, or served with the sauce spooned over the top. To my surprise, the dish arrived as thinly sliced raw yellowtail, presented sashimi/crudo-style. Each slice was topped with a small amount of sauce infused with capers, Taggiasca olives, Calabrese chiles, and possibly sun-dried tomatoes, all classic puttanesca ingredients. Microgreens completed the presentation. This could be described as a "ricciola crudo with puttanesca-style garnish" rather than a traditional cooked ricciola alla puttanesca. Essentially, the chef uses the puttanesca flavor profile (capers, olives, chiles, tomato, oil) as a raw topping instead of cooking the fish in the sauce. While it's raw, it's a modern, crudo-style interpretation inspired by puttanesca flavors and I'm a fan. I'll order it again and again. For my Secondi, I had the Risotto ai Funghi, a classic Italian dish featuring creamy arborio rice with shiitake and hen-of-the-woods (maitake) mushrooms and a hint of lemon. Served piping hot, it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For dessert, I enjoyed another Reposado by Herradura. IL Premio is so much more than a steakhouse. The food is thoughtfully prepared, the atmosphere is refined, service by Janlan was excellent and it is a fitting restaurant for an outstanding hotel property.
