Parking: We walked from or office, but noticed there is a parking lot right next door. Service: We had a party of 4 and made reservations, there was no wait. Ecco is a decent, upscaley place if you're feeling like stepping your evening up. I'm not sure it's something we have the palate to fully appreciate, but I'm sure it's perfect for the right group. The staff was a little indignant from the moment we checked in for our reservation to when we left. The hostess didn't seem to know the table setup nor did she care where we sat. Our server took a long while to get to us and it took longer to get our beverages. The place wasn't too full and honestly this may have been the desired atmosphere so who am I to complain. Had my retirement dinner here last night. Everything was great .., food, ambiance and the service was very attentive.

Very friendly service. A lovely restaurant vibe. Our waiter was great as was the food. Highly recommend the fried goat cheese and the beets appetizers. The papardelli was freshly made in house and included lots of meat in the ragu. Pizza was lovely and my duck confit was yummy. The bread pudding was divine and the crème fraîche gelato was nice too. I think I forgot the patatas bravas. The restaurant is primarily modern Italian. And delicious. read more

I went to Ecco Midtown to celebrate a birthday and honestly it was a 10 out of 10 experience. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and warm. The service was amazing, especially María, who truly went above and beyond. She was incredibly kind and made us feel at home the entire time. It felt like no matter what we needed, she was genuinely happy to help, and that's something you really appreciate when dining out. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has a great atmosphere, especially at night. It's perfect for celebrating a birthday or going with a group because they have a QR code system where everyone can pay for their own items. No splitting checks, no awkward math, just super easy and convenient, especially for larger parties. Food wise, everything we ordered was delicious. I shared a charcuterie board with three friends and it was really good. We also ordered the tuna carpaccio, which was amazing and came with natural potato chips that were honestly a 10 out of 10. We ordered a pizza as well, I don't remember the name but it had mushrooms and it was so good. For drinks, my go to cocktail is an espresso martini and even though it wasn't on the menu, they were able to make it for me. It was perfect, with a strong coffee flavor, which I personally love in an espresso martini. Overall, Ecco Midtown was an incredible experience. Amazing food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. We came here before a Sunday night show and had no problem parking on the street a block away (there is no parking the block the restaurant is on). We made a reservation minutes before and didn't need that to get a table as it was not full at all. The interior is a good size and has a dark vibe. Our server was with us quickly and could sense we were in a mild hurry. The menu had lots of good options and we started with the mussels which were amazing! The highlight of the meal for me. The sauce was the best I'd ever had and soaking both the bread that came with it and the complimentary bread in it was the best! The jalapeno in this dish made it great as well. Dinner before a show at the Fox. Ecco is tucked away on a quieter street in a super cool stand alone building on a cypress St. upon entering is a god size bar area that had happy hour 4-6pm. After a drink or two at the bar we were seated. The server really knew the menu well and service was impeccable. I had the red fish which was amazing. Others at the table had the pork tenderloin, the pappardelle, and the vegetable pasta special. All the food was delish and the presentation of the dishes were awesome. I highly recommend this place. I think the most appropriate rating would be a 4.5 tbh. I have dined here on 3 recent occasions. My husband and I have season tix to the Fox and this is one of our pre-show spots. The service is very good, and I would describe the food as "solid." Nothing has ever really blown me away but also nothing has been disappointing either. We usually show up pretty hungry after sitting in traffic for over an hour and we share 2 apps, 2 entrees, a dessert and 2-3 cocktails. The bill typically runs 250$-ish. Overall, its a nice dining experience. Some of the more memorable dishes include the duck and the pork tenderloin. Apps- prawns & meat/cheese board. The cocktails are well done. One inconsistency is how their happy hour works (4-6 pm). On one occasion, we chose to sit at the bar, and we enjoyed a few HH items, no issues (we usually arrive pre-show 515/530). The second time, we were seated at a table; we requested the HH menu, no issues and we each enjoyed a cocktail/app. However, the third time, we were told we could NOT order from the HH menu while seated at a table. The bar was very crowded as there was some kind of event going on. I would say that did rub us the wrong way a bit, and may be the reason we have not returned there for pre-show dining. So if we get there in time for HH but theres no space at the bar, we can't have a few items off the HH menu? hmmm kay. read more

Except for the cheeseburger. It was good. The meal was definitely not worth what we paid. Server hardly acknowledged us and didn't even offer dessert menu. To be fair, we have visited Ecco several times when we visit Atlanta. It's always been a special treat. The food was great - tasty and top notch. We were encouraged to order more than we could eat or wanted so that was an annoying fail. Service was reliable and spot on. Server was annoying and over talkative. We are experienced wine connoisseurs so when I was relaying a story of a chevalier du tastevin that we met years ago. The young man who was serving us made it sound like monks were the creators of wine making. He is incorrect. Wine dates back to pre-historic times and was spread by the Greeks and Romans. The other issue we noticed was where we were seated in relation to other diners. Never, have I ever been so insulted. We were at a table literally by the kitchen door. Clanking dishes, etc. the works. The 2-3 tables next to us? Empty. We even had a reservation that evening (08/15/2026) at 7:30 PM. We were early and we knew that. We would have been fine if we were told to wait at the bar but the host said nothing to dissuade us. Just took us back to the "bad children" corner. Plus. The menu changed. Less tapas bites to choose from. We were pushed to order more food than we wanted, dissuaded from our wine choice by a twit of a server, and overall, left a bad taste on our palates. It will be sometime before we return. In the meantime, take note that not all of us are no longer young and sexy but we have more money than you think. Don't insult our intelligence. read more

The food at this restaurant was okay, but the valet service was a complete nightmare. After a lovely dinner with my family, the valet turned the end of our evening into a stressful encounter. The valet lot is tiny (like really tiny and you have no choice but to use the service - no self parking), so he didn't have to walk far to retrieve my car. When he pulled up, I handed him a $5 bill. But he didn't give me my car keys--instead, he held onto my key fob and said, "The $5 is just for the parking fee; it doesn't include my tip. You have to pay more for the gratuity." I was with my family, so I kept my composure, but I was shocked. A restaurant's food is only one part of the dining experience. The way a place makes you feel matters just as much, and being strong-armed into tipping by a valet is a terrible feeling. I don't mind tipping, but this was different. Valet parking at a restaurant is often a courtesy, and you tip at your own discretion as you leave. This place charges a fee and then pressures you for an additional tip (after paying and tipping inside). No matter how good the food is, I would never go back to a place that allows its employees to bully customers. I encourage you to find another place to eat, there are better options around the area. read more

I came here for my 25th birthday dinner with my friends and it was such a great experience! I've been to this location before, but I love that they called ahead to reconfirm and also add some personal touch to the menu! They asked about things I liked or hobbies I had to personalize the menu for me, along with my name! The service was great and things moved at a very nice pace. My party thoroughly enjoyed the food and appetizers, and the ambience! This place didn't feel stuffy like some upscale restaurants i've been to, but it's a good in between. I got the squid ink pasta, I do not remember the exact name, but it was delicious. We also had the broccolini and potatoes appetizers! Also very good! I had gotten a giftcard for my birthday to spend at a Fifth Group restaurant, so we decided to check out Ecco! We made a reservation for a Friday evening and were seated pretty much immediately. There's parking along Cypress that's pretty easy through ParkMobile. The restaurant has such a cool vibe inside and is super intimate and cozy. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table and decided to order everything family-style. Our waiter was super helpful with recommendations. We got the charcuterie board, fried goat cheese balls, the speck flatbread, agnolotti, patatas bravas, and spaghetti al Nero. The fried goat cheese balls lived up to the hype and were absolutely the highlight of the meal!! The rest of the food was absolutely delicious and the perfect portions for 4 people to share. This is the best airport dinning I've ever visited. After my husband and I have had many disappointments throughout the day with trying and tasting food before we ended our trip in ATL. The flatbread was cooked to the perfection the tomatoes was fresh to tastes and the cheese was cooked as it should. The Herbed Chicken panini was on point, will seasoned and the toasts was perfect. 10/10! Will stop to eat here again for sure when I do visit or passing through again. We ordered a great bottle of white wine - Picpoul de Pinet, which he recommended and we loved it! For our appetizer we ordered the lamb meatballs - OMG. So full of flavor and the garnishes gave a lot of great texture as well. We received bread service with oil on the side. The bread was warm and great but I wish the oil had some herbs or spices in it for dipping. For our entrees we ordered the duck and the sea bass. The duck was ordered medium well because we don't like any redness in our meat. It was so delicious, tender and just amazing! The cauliflower was also great in that dish. The sea bass was seasoned very well and was served with fingerling potatoes - very delicious. For dessert we ordered the baklava that was served over a cheesecake sauce with lemon sorbet on top and pistachios. Literally life changing! You have to try it! My 5 year old daughter was with us and we were able to order a flatbread cheese pizza. She is extremely picky and didn't eat much of it because it doesn't look like the typical pizza slices that she's accustomed to. She did enjoy pulling the mozzarella off the top and eating it. I was in Atlanta for a business trip when a colleague recommended this place for dinner. I was able to make a reservation easily, and that night we dined at Ecco. The restaurant was dark and moody on the inside, perfect for a date night if you're interested in that. My coworker and i shared the fried goat cheese, which was oh so good. Our waiter said it was popular there, and I see why. For my main course, I ordered the seared swordfish. It was my first time trying swordfish, and hopefully not my last. It was also a great choice and I would definitely recommend it. For my drink, I ordered the crowd pleasing vodka drink. It definitely pleased me so that's all that matters, right? I came by after work with a few friends for happy hour, but made a reservation just in case as we had a party of 4. We got to Ecco and I mentioned we had a reservation for happy hour. Happy hour was only at the bar so we sat there, but taking a look at the limited menu, we decided we would just do the normal menu. Here is when it started going downhill real fast: we got up and asked the hostess if we could get a table since we were no longer doing happy hour. The hostess definitely had an attitude and asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge area at the front and we said sure. She then proceeded to sit us at the VERY back of the restaurant right next to the curtain at the very back as there was a private event going on. Mind you it is a sizable restaurant with maybe 6 people in the restaurant at this time. It made zero sense to sit us at the very back when she just asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge area at the very front? My friend went up to ask the hostess to be moved as we found the private event behind the curtain to be loud, the curtain was moving, it was incredibly dim, and the restaurant was nearly empty. My friend who spoke to the hostess said she was incredibly rude and demeaning and said nothing could be done...in an empty restaurant. Few moments later, the manager came out and asked if we wanted to sit in the lounge ...which is where they asked if we wanted to sit in the first place. After that ordeal, we were finally seated at a table and got to order. The service from there on out was not pleasant and we really just wanted to leave. I ordered the patatas bravas and fried goat cheese. The patatas bravas were incredibly greasy and you can see in the image a pool of grease before I even started eating. They definitely made me a bit queasy with how greasy these were. The fried goat cheese was the only redeeming factor of this place. They burned my friend's pizza so she had to wait after all 3 of us got our food and the pizza she was served was still pretty dark. Portions for pizza and pasta here were small and mediocre. After receiving the poor service and food here, I would never come back and argue this is the worst place in Midtown! read more

Tips: - Maker sure you go on their website and make reservations. - Order the fried goat cheese, there are five pieces to share. - Try the grilled squid, if you like it, because they do it right. - Dessert was not a strong suit, choose an after dinner drink. - Want to SPLURGE, go for the wine list and ask for suggestions. Our server was incredibly stressed and took 10 minutes just to say hello, he did apologize about it all. But the food itself, it was not high quality Italian for the reflective pricing. The pasta noodles did not match up with the menu, the tastes were all over the place and portions were either very small or decent size. The charcuterie board had a great spread but no crackers to use for the jam or mustard. The best thing on the menu was the fried goat cheese balls but that was all we were impressed with. read more
