The soda machine was down so only tea and coffee options if you were going the non alcohol route. Hot and fresh mozzarella sticks with a light flavorful marinara sauce. Due to fried chicken being a southern thing, but the chicken was NOT BREADED! Chicken parmesean is breaded. I paid $20 for a dry no breaded piece of chicken on a smashed fence baguette with 1! I repeat, 1 slice of parmesean cheese. This was not supposed to be a chi Ken breast on baguette with parm. This was supposed to be a CHICKEN PARMESEAN sandwich. Flavorless piece of dried chicken smashed between 2 soggy pieces of bread. Terrible! They should be ashamed to call themselves Italian. I came here yesterday right after a stressful day at work! Man, I love this place!! It's my local "go to" Italian restaurant! I live nearby so imagine having a really good Italian restaurant less than a mile from your apartment! The decor is nice, the ambiance is great and the bar is inviting and they have my favorite local beer on tap, Tropicalia :-). I've been here with friends and family on multiple occasions and have yet to have a bad experience. The service is always excellent! When I've sat at the bar the bartenders are always so attentive and nice. When in the dining room, the wait staff are also top shelf. I always feel at home here :-) Service 5 stars Ambiance 5 stars On this visit I had the shrimp scampi, and an order of breadsticks for my appetizer. Honestly this could be a meal in and of itself! But I really wanted to try and new entree today so I went with the Seafood Linguine and man it did not dissapoint! This entree was absolutely delicious! Italian food is one of my favorite types of cuisines, and although there are many to chose from here in Atlanta, EATaliano is always a solid spot. From the quaint atmosphere, to the friendly staff, this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants. I always try to get something different to taste as many things from the menu as possible. On my last trip here, we got some ciabatta bread, mushroom ravioli and meatball sub. The ravioli was fantastic, but I was not too impressed with the meatball sub. It lacked something... but I'm not sure what. Next time you're around the area, stop by and give them a try. read more

This is a weird place. They do some things extremely well and others pretty bad. They are not consistently mid but the overall is mid. This venue is in the middle of a strip mall and cannot be seen from the street. They have indoor and outdoor parking. We chose indoor and it was unusually cold. It is like they have the AC up expecting a crowd but no one showed up so it was uncomfortable. We ordered a mimosa, parmesan fries, steak fettucine, and chicken parmesan. The mimosa tasted like a typical mimosa. Parmesan fries were better than expected. Steak fettucine was surprisingly good. Chicken parmesan was really good in my opinion. Service started off lacking and it took a while to get some water. Service turned great. They even gave us a birthday canoli. I want to give this place another try. Crab cake appetizer was semi cold, odd considering we were 3 of 10 patrons in there. The lobster ravioli was lackluster. Ocean salad was great, but get some additional dressing. Our third member had the seafood pasta but said it was too lemony and the fettuccine Alfredo was a bit too basic. Breadsticks were pretty good. I've been coming to this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the food, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I met a friend for dinner yesterday. I wasn't very hungry because I had eaten earlier, so I ordered from the kids' menu, something I've done here many times before. I also asked to substitute the Alfredo sauce for marinara, which has never been an issue in the past. This time, however, the staff told me the owner wouldn't allow it. The restaurant was nearly empty, so the refusal was surprising. Rather than make a big deal out of it, I simply skipped ordering while my friend ate. What disappointed me most wasn't even the policy--it was how it was handled. Since the owner was there and the restaurant wasn't busy, I think it would have gone a long way if he had simply come over to our table, explained the change in policy, or apologized for the inconvenience. That small gesture would have left a much better impression and shown that long-time customers are valued. Instead, the situation made what should have been a pleasant dinner feel awkward and uncomfortable. If you order smaller portions due to dietary needs, medical reasons, or simply because you're not very hungry, be aware that you may run into issues here. I've supported this restaurant for years, so this was a very disappointing experience over what seemed like a simple request. read more

I wanted a side salad instead, but the waitress said that wasn't an option, so I chose to sub vegetables for the spaghettini. The veggies were eh. The carrots could've been softer. My mom and I came here on a Friday afternoon while she was visiting in town. I had intentions of trying this out since it is so conveniently located and has appeared to be of a quaint style. We opted to sit outside after speaking with the kind hostess but we honestly should have been inside due to the incessantly relentless flies. I am not sure if this is an issue all year around or if we came at a bad time. After requesting some suggestions from our kind waitress, we tried their Fried Fresh Mozzarella which came out piping hot an deliciously fried. Both their Seafood Linguini and Chicken Marsala dishes each had two long slices of soft and chewy dipping bread. As perfect for soaking up the yummy sauces, they probably would have been better on separate plates since they quickly become soggy if left on the main plate. Between the two dishes, they were both heavily seasoned, with slightly more salt than necessary, but still well-rounded dishes. My son & I had dinner at EATaliano recently. The place was empty at 5:30 and the restaurant was very cold. I requested to be moved out to the covered patio, it still took a while before they turned on the heat. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer and it was very good. My son ordered spaghetti with meatballs and it was not very good; it was bland. I've tasted better sauce out of a jar. I ordered chicken piccata and was very disappointed. There was 1 thin slice of lemon in the dish (lemon is why I ordered piccata) and I couldn't taste lemon at all. I informed my wait staff person and was told "I'll let the kitchen know." $90 for 1 happy hour glass of wine, 1 appetizer and 2 not so tasty entrees. read more

My daughter, two grandsons and I dined tonight expecting an amazing Italian experience. Sadly it was not. Service was excellent and atmosphere was amazing. I think Michelina's frozen meals taste better. The sauce was so bland and watery, zero flavor. I asked for some cheese in hopes of adding flavor...salt and pepper didn't help either. It just tasted like a roux....flour and butter. The chicken had the consistency and flavor (or lack of) as Oscar Mayers carving board chicken. Boys both had children's cheese pizza, and we brought two pizzas minus a couple slices home. Sad for a nine and a twelve year old who were both starving. They didn't like it at all said it tasted like a frozen Tortinos party pizza. Bread sticks were very chewy and seemed frozen yet had the most flavor....garlic and butter. We will not return. I prefer a crisp laminated menu as the wear and tear shows on paper menus. My friend and I found this gem when we were walking around The Battery. We got there during a good time, it wasn't a lot of people there, our waitress was amazing, a very nice lady from Hungary. My friend and I had a couple of 6oz wines and 2 entrees, both of our entrees were amazing even though we couldn't make up our minds on which food item would be amazing. The ambiance and Service was good. For the most part, the Food was good. However, I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo and asked the waitress if I could get Italian Sausage as my protein. She said yes. When she brought me the dish it was a red colored Sauce. I told her what I ordered and she said it's because they cook their Italian sausage in Marinara sauce. If she had told me that, I would not have ordered the sausage. It completely changed the Alfredo and I wasn't able to enjoy it. I should have sent it back, but my wife and I had been traveling all day and I didn't want to wait for another dish. The manager did apologize and the rest of our meal was fine. We made a reservation for today for brunch for Mother's Day. The restaurant serves brunch Sat-Sun 11-3. We get there for our 1pm reservation and ask for the brunch menu and the hostess said we aren't doing brunch today!!!! What?!? You do brunch every Sunday and chose not to do it on Mother's Day. The website said our regular menu and a few crafted items well unless you say you are not doing brunch on Mother's Day why would I think you wouldn't. Even our server was surprised that they weren't. It was over 1/2 empty. So we left and had to find another alternative. Ridiculous! Would like to try for dinner but who knows we might show up and they say nope not serving our dinner menu tonight.
