Cute bar to enjoy tropical themed drinks. It's at the end of a food hall (ight next to Gusto) which makes it convenient if you want food before or after. A friend and I came on a Thursday night and staff was friendly and prompt with our orders. I kept it simple and went with their version of a Paloma but swapped mezcal for the tequila. For those who may want non-alcoholic options, they do have a few mocktail options at the $10 price point. As the weather gets warmer I could definitely see cooling off with one of their frozen cocktails. Note on parking: apparently it's pretty strict for the area so make sure to validate via QR codes throughout the lots which gives you 2 hours for free. read more

Strangers in Paradise is such a fun cocktail bar! The decor is on point. I do not know who their interior designer is, but they need an award! The postcard wall is my favorite, and I really wish I could make one in my house. If you are lucky, Terrance will serve you. He is the best bartender! Everyone who works there is fantastic. If you have a larger party, you can sit in one of the couch lounge areas, or if there are just a few of you. You can take a seat at the massive bar. All of their drinks are so much fun, but my favorite is the one in the cup. I also love the cute toothpicks. They put all the fruit on. This area sits off one of the many entrances of the Beltline. Really, really cute! It sits in a food hall but it definitely transports you to a paradise island beach side bar. It is a bar only but you are able to bring your food over. The bartender gave upbeat energy and amazing service. They have some cool drinks, he made us something not on the menu a Julep... good but strong, I needed a little more chaser....lol. I've been to the Food Hall before and in passing, I seen they have a band sometime. I enjoyed my time there and will be going back for sure. Very disappointed writing this review.... I've been to Strangers In Paradise 3 times but this most recent experience was disappointing. There was a discrepancy with my check where my drinks were combined with someone else's and i was charged for everything. I paid the $100+ tab NO QUESTIONS ASKED but then brought the issue to the bartenders attention after I saw the receipt, and they both visibly had attitudes as if i was lying or trying to get out of paying my tab. Eventually the drinks that belonged to someone else, along with the extra drink that didn't belong to EITHER of us, was taken off. The interaction unfortunately left a bad taste in my mouth but i still paid 15% tip because I myself come from a service background and understand how it can be. When severs or bartenders are going through shift change, it's best to do a once-over of the existing tables and what's on their tab to ensure there's no discrepancies so this doesn't continue to happen. read more

I've been to this cocktail bar twice now and it's amazing. It sits right at the entry of Lee + White on the Food Hall side and has this vintage tropical decor. You'll definitely feel like it's the new Cheers - a place where everybody knows your name. The cocktails are fun and refreshing. They'll make up something or you can order off the menu. Most recently I attended an Alumni Meet & Greet event for Clark Atlanta University and prior to that for Homecoming pre-game. I had a whiskey cocktail that was on the stronger side - no complaints! My server was actually the GM and he was awesome. Calm, cool, great smile and came out from behind the bar to help guests. The other bartenders were attentive and friendly. There is always lively music playing but the couches/seating areas in front of the bar make it inviting as a casual place moreso than a wile party sort of vibe. I came here on a weekend with a friend, and we each had two drinks at the bar. I can't remember our bartender's name but he was soooo dope. He was dancing to the music and had great energy. The drinks offered are new and elevates twists on classics. From your Miami Vice to your Pina Colada and even new inventive drinks like a Pink Flamingo. The vibe represents a 1980's/ 1990's south Florida resort hotel bar. With the garage door open and under the glow of the neon alligator, you certainly feel like you're in SoFlo! This is the bar located in the Lee + White food hall, it's right in the front and has a very tropical Caribbean feel to it, there are two conversational sofa sets in addition to seating around the bar. They had two mocktail options the day I visited and it was pretty chill. The service was good, I was greeted by both bartenders and offered a menu without having to ask. I ordered the Sun Pass an alcoholic free drink that was $8. It was electric green with three slices of kiwi in it. It was refreshing, delicious, however it was ice heavy so next time I would ask for light ice. If you enjoy tropical drinks this is your spot. read more

What a beautiful discovery!!! I have found something else to add to my weekly dose of happiness. This place makes you feel like you are on vacation....the aura of the bar, the open garage , the whole aesthetic made me forget I was in ATL. Terrance was the bartender, and he was the sweetest!!! Since I was feeling vacation-y, I ordered (quite a few) Piña Coladas. They were delicious, I'm curious to know which rum it was made with, cuz it was just the right amount of strong. The overall atmosphere is super dope. You have the nice breeze coming from the open garage concept, the lighting for outdoor seating was perfect too. I am already planning to go back next week. I don't usually post or say anything but this has become our favorite bar on the west end!! But I'm Having a hard time figuring out what they're trying to do here however! I know there was a switch in management because things are very different. My group and I want to go places where there's a little bit for everyone. I get the vibe of 80/90s Florida bar just from the retro posts and the seating area in front of the bar. I'm just confused as to what's happening now. I have seen a sudden change in tequila's missing, not that I care, they were all pretty crappy anyways, bourbons have disappeared, and the rums seemed to increase?? Are they trying to now go to a tiki bar? Not sure why the sudden switch. We have 3 REALLY great ones and they can't be touched!! If I were you guys, I would stick to being a chill, fun, retro bar, get more beers, increase your whiskey/bourbons selection, and have specials during the week! You guys need help in that regard. You have 4 taps and 2 beers! Try something different! The DJ's on Fridays were great and then that changed! something is reallllllly going down hill here! We want something different! a place where we can go have a good time, great prices, and a great selection. you guys have 4 canned beers and 2 drafts! come on now! the amount of breweries around you makes it so easy! You have wild heaven and wild leap and you have neither! that is wild! Anyways, enough of the rant, I always have a blast! I had to say something because the staff is always on point when we come! Our favorite is the Soggy Dollar usually frozen drinks aren't our go to but this is a must have.
