french onion soup
Lisi M.

I rounded up; I liked the vibe from Tiny Lou's and it had some great dishes and some not so great. LOVED - the rise and brine cocktail - the cocktail with coca cola in it - fresh bread (both of them) - chips and caviar were ok - beef tartare - onion soup (was salty per reviews but i like that) - truffle fries - deviled eggs - the actual plates they used DIDNT LIKE - bouillabaisse had little flavor, the sauce on the bread was bad IMO - creamed spinach; not one person at the table of 6 liked it - speed of drinks coming out, literally 20-30 minutes to get a drink, so i guess that kept the tab cheap because we literally couldn't drink more service was good but slow. so in short i would definitely come again but not all the dishes are slam dunks and i would be ordering 2 drinks at a time.

I was staying at the hotel for the night so since it was a Friday night, I decided to do something special. The restaurant is French along with the decor having a charming flare. I started my meal with the French Onion Soup. I love soup and will almost always try some over a salad any day. This soup was so rich in flavor and delicious. I was so surprised at how good it tasted. I also ordered a cheeseburger and fries. I kept it simple with the food but even so I was not disappointed at all. It was great. To finish the meal I had dessert call Le Salon. It was top tier good and the presentation was exceptional. Every detail of the meal was great. I will return with my family very soon.

Affogato Charlotte cake and an amazing Crème Brûlée (some kind of tea flavor that was incredible!)

AFFOGATO CHARLOTTE (the cake in the picture) was delicious!!! The creme brûlée was perfect - some kind of tea flavor. So good! We came for after dinner dessert at the bar. Staff were so kind and always a good place to hang out and enjoy incredible drinks and dessert.

We heard that Tiny Lou's had a Michelin recommendation and had really high expectations but unfortunately Tiny Lou's did not live up to what we had hoped. The brunch was mediocre and our staff was not very helpful. I've been to other Michelin recommended restaurants and the experience was superb so in comparison Tiny Lou's was quite underwhelming. Had I not known about the Michelin star, I would have given a higher rating, but considering the previous reviews, it is not at the same caliber as other highly recommended restaurants. Maybe it was an off day but the waitress was rude, took quite a long time to take out orders, and when we asked for her recommendations on what to order she said "I don't know y'all are the ones eating." Overall, a very average brunch and poor service experience.

Great service Great company and good food. We ordered shrimp and crab, mushroom risotto, American burger and deviled eggs with caviar. We would go back again.

My husband and i celebrated our anniversary at the very cute and romantic Tiny Lou's inside Hotel Clermont. We loved the neon pink sign as you head down the stairs to the restaurant. Our server, Unique was very attentive and gave wonderful recommendations on the dessert. We got the chips and caviar appetizer which was delicious. I only wish it had just a little more caviar. I got the braised short ribs. Hubby got the duck confit. The portion sizes leave enough room for dessert. You leave feeling satisfied. And lastly Unique brought out champagne to toast! We loved it! We will be back!

Beautiful decor and lighting. Tiny Lou's has a nostalgic old world feel, and is a treat for the senses. Service was friendly, a bit hands off which was nice to enjoy the ambiance and forget where you were for a moment. Great for a small group or even solo diners. We were seeking lighter dishes tonight since we were dining a bit late. The menu offers a delightful selection that changes with the seasons, allowing you to savor the freshest in-season greens and proteins. The moule (mussels) were perfectly prepared, I was sure to dip the bread in the rich broth that accompanied it. Each plate was harmonious and choiceful. Somehow both delicate and hearty, you feel the heart that went into the vision that is Tiny Lou's.

Saturday night reservation - table for 5 in the corner. Grilled pork chop was delicious - with the grits, it was comfort food! And the brioche is worth a visit. Service was good. And was impressed with the 4 desserts we had. My compliments to the pastry chef!

Good service and food. Cute space. Ordered the steak and eggs - portion was good, very filling. Potatoes were cooked perfectly. The cinnamon buttery spread that came with the zucchini bread was delicious.

Truffle Fries

We went here to celebrate our engagement and we were NOT disappointed. From the moment that we entered the restaurant, we were instantly welcomed. We were gifted a signed card from the employees and a celebratory glass of champagne on the house. The atmosphere was intimate, relaxing and comforting. From the music to the decor, we instantly loved the environment. The food was incredible especially the redfish, the gourmet burger and the truffle fries. Abigail, our waitress, done an excellent job of making our evening special and memorable. We will definitely be back!

Amazing experience. No complaints whatsoever. Went to Tiny Lou's to celebrate my anniversary with my boyfriend and the experience was perfect. Our server, Kay, was attentive, funny and gave the right recommendations. We even received the restaurants history and some fun facts! The meal itself was absolutely delicious. We decided to try something new and ordered the Duck and Elk. Flavors were so good!! My mouth is watering just writing this, thinking about how amazing it was. Ambiance was very much low light, intimidate environment. Everything was welcoming and pleasant. Highly recommend for a special outing.

This was the first day they put this new menu out. I'll be honest we weren't really fans of the food. The shrimp and grits had a full layer of a sharp cheese on top, which was just way too much we all thought. I love me some cheese in my grits too but that was just overkill because it's also cheese throughout the grits. Also the ribeye? Both my friend and I didn't like ours and we love us a ribeye. It didn't even taste like a ribeye, more like top sirloin or NY strip. The Juice? Yuck. I make my juices at home and no additives and it still doesn't taste nasty like this one lol Shrimp & Grits (it's the cheese, remove some and we have a deal, I enjoyed the shrimp and I hate shrimp) Ribeye? Hated it. Give me a good quality ribeye and we'll talk. This gave sirloin from Waffle House or something, no shade.

The bar seat was great to see all of the rushing but feel out of the way while people were coming and going. The Cabbagetown Bowl was incredible. The combination of flavors worked so well together, and the salad was a standout on its own thanks to the amazing dressing. The egg on top brought everything together perfectly and made the dish feel complete and a nice breakfast staple. Service was friendly and attentive even with the crowd, and the atmosphere had that cozy neighborhood feel that makes you want to linger a little longer, but you shouldn't because people need to eat, too. Little trick is that if you decide to use the valet in the little square area, they will validate your parking. However, since it is located in Buckhead Village parking can be a challenge at times, however very cheap at two dollars an hour. This is significantly cheaper to downtown Chicago or any other section of Chicago equivalent to Buckhead Village where it is over $14 an hour on the street parking. Anyhow, let me say that Pedro our server was fantastic. He is so full of personality and courtesy and super patient with us. I've read many reviews to talk about slow service and I have to say it is not slow service. It is simply them telling you that they are not rushing you through a meal that is to be enjoyed in an amazing ambience. And they let you move at your pace, which is fantastic. You can tell by the photos we ordered quite a bit of food and everything was absolutely delicious as there were no leftovers whatsoever My only complaint about the place is first the velvet chairs and benches make it very hard to scoot on in or get off Further, you have to pay for bread service here, which I do not believe in. Considering the prices, the bread, even if it was minimal bread and butter should be complementary. I will definitely be coming back here again, whether there be this location or their other locations in the south or even New York This is a must stop and worth every penny!
