    Their red wine flight
    Amber L.

While the scenery and facilities were beautiful the wine itself was "mid" at best. I ordered the red wine flight and a large charcuterie board totaling $92 only for only one of the wines to actually be decent. The wine, flight consists of 4 wines and a souvenir wine glass. Of the 4, one tastes like flat coke and two were like drinking raw cowhide. I'm all for new strange "notes" in wine but this was like someone was taking dollar store wine and dumping in random essential oils. But yes, gorgeous views and the live music was nice. Also, the staff was nice but forever hiding inside since the tasting room was closed on a holiday weekend. I won't be back but it's nice to have experienced the spot and have an opinion on a tourist spot.

WINE NOT YONAH MOUNTAIN | YONAH Mountain Vineyards is probably my favorite North Georgia winery at the moment. My first visit was in the summer of 2022 and it was a good time. We got a Monday off for work on Juneteenth and we were thankful that it was open. Wine flights, full pours, gorgeous vineyard and mountain views, and a big gift shop to boot... what else can you ask for? The wine is all pretty tasty - we tasted several wines that day - I appreciated the wine glass being included in the flight - and you can pour each 2oz serving from your flight into your logo glass if you'd like, which is much better for photos. We had a big lunch before we arrived but definitely recommend bringing food if you're planning on drinking! Overall, from the gorgeous venue and views to the wide variety of tasty high quality wine, Yonah Mountain Vineyards is my favorite go-to winery in North Georgia!

This place is STUNNING, the views are breathtaking, they have plenty of outdoor seating here when the weather is nice. They had live music and food trucks. They do sell meats and cheeses if you'd like to just have that with your wine. The self-guided wine tasting gives you about 5 different wines to taste along with a glass to take home with you, you get to sit back, relax and sip on wine while looking at that beautiful view.

My cousin got married here in May, and it was an absolutely stunning wedding and venue!! A beautiful drive, and easy to find. From the ceremony on the mountaintop surrounded by the vineyards and gorgeous blue ridge mountains, to the reception inside, everything was just beautiful. The staff was kind enough to give guests a ride up the "mountain" in a golf cart for the ceremony which was wonderful, especially for those of us in heels and with a baby in tow. The area up top was flat, and the sound/acoustics wasn't bad at all. Plenty of parking in the gravel lot below, but do note that they keep the restaurant open even when they have weddings going on. I'm sure if you paid enough $$, you could have the whole venue fully private, but it really wasn't an issue for my cousin and the guests. The restaurant closed early by the time the reception was starting anyways, but it was the Sunday before Memorial Day. The ballroom for the reception was very spacious and decorated beautifully with tons of uplighting, and there is a nice green space right outside perfect for a cocktail hour in between ceremony and reception. The staff throughout the whole evening was so kind and helpful, and my cousin had a great experience working with the vendors the venue recommends for catering, florals, etc.

If you are in the area and love wine, this place is a must try! My husband and I spent a week with family exploring north Georgia and this was our favorite stop along the way. This vineyard is expansive with plenty of inside or outside seating based on your preference. The wines are spectacular and we couldn't help but take several home. Don't skip their Riesling, Cabernet or Ice Wine. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and are happy to provide you with some great recommendations.

I visited Yonah Mountain Vineyards again with my husband and mother in law, and we had a great time! We each had a glass of wine, and we shared a cheese, meat, and crackers snack board. It's such a beautiful place to enjoy time outside and good wine with family!

This place was so Beautiful and the wine was Amazing. Highly recommended. View and property is Stunning. Service was fantastic.

We booked a Private Guided Wine Tasting Experience at Yonah Mountain Vineyards. It was one of the most delightful experiences we have had in North Georgia. Tanner was amazing in his knowledge of the vineyard and the wines. He went far above the expected to create an informative, enjoyable and very memorable afternoon. The wines were fabulous - it was our 5th Vineyard toured in the area so far and the wines here were far superior to the other wineries. The grounds, vineyards and mountain views are unparalleled. You can tell the owners spared no expense in creating a world-class winery. This place is truly amazing. We joined the wine club and look forward to getting our wines when we can't visit.

Rebecca was incredibly easy to communicate with and helped me set everything up ahead of time. I felt incredibly taken care of from the first interaction through when they dropped us off at our doorstep and carried our wine to the door. Chris picked my friend and I up and we met Rebecca with the van which they decorated with a darling happy birthday sign, cold water, and an assortment of snacks. I was blown away by their hospitality. Before hitting the road they reviewed the wineries we planned to visit and then we were off. Rebecca drove safely and made conversation with us along the way. Chris was very knowledgeable about the vineyards and wines. Each time we arrived at a new vineyard Chris opened the car door and offered his hand as we stepped down from the van. He opened the vineyard door and helped us find seats at each winery, and then gave us space to enjoy our tasting. Between tastings he made sure we were comfortable and had plenty of water and snacks. He even brought our next tasting out to our seats so that we wouldn't need to get up- it was truly FULL service in every single way. I never once felt rushed by him or Rebecca, and their smiling faces and easy demeanor really created the perfect environment for my friend and I to cut loose and enjoy ourselves. After our tastings we said goodbye and Chris drove us back to our cabin where he personally carried the box of wine to our front door. He thanked us for spending the day with him and was on his way. I cannot recommend Chris and Rebecca enough! I will absolutely be booking with them again. I highly recommend them for any trip! Their prices are incredibly reasonable- and the service is top notch. I was blown away and cannot wait to book another trip with them!

But overall it was a much better experience. The tasting at this small boutique winery was personalized: I sat at the bar and tried the "Premier Wine Tasting." Two choices were offered: dry or sweet; 5 small pours in total. I got the dry. The bartender was informative and, as I was the only one there at the time, I got his undivided attention. He even threw in two extra small tastes of wines not in the flight that I asked about, no extra charge. Though the wines were expensive, they were quite good and I did buy a couple bottles, wanting to return home with a collection from my travels and I liked the place. I also liked the fact that they allow customers to bring their own food. Many wineries prohibit that, even if all they have to offer is prepackaged charcuterie platters. And I liked their "Serenity Now!" tee shirt enough to buy one of those too, though I'm normally opposed to paying a business to advertise their own business. Views and the inside space were nothing special. But they do have concerts and a food truck most weekends. The stage and patio looked like a good place to enjoy some wine, snacks, and local music. I was glad to end my Georgia wine tour on a (relatively) high note.

We were the only ones there when we came. Probably more fun on weekend when they have a live band. We were looking forward to trying the charcuterie board but it was sold out. They said they sold out over the weekend, but it was Wednesday when we went so I guess they don't stock on stuff as often. We did a wine tasting for $30 and that included a wine glass to take home. It was amazing! We met near DT Athens, got on the bus, popped a beer, and headed toward ATL. Kevin gave us a quick, but informative look at the history of beer and gave us an idea of what we were getting into and how many different beers we would get to try. Then a little socializing and meeting the rest of the group. We visited Red Brick, ate at Five Seasons West with a beer flight, Monday Night, and ended at Sweetwater. You think that that is a lot, but we rolled right off of the bus, Kevin had already checked us in at Red Brick, so we went straight to the bar, got a beer, and although "So You Think You Can Dance" was filming at the brewery(which closed it off to the general public), we got to go back into the working brewery and hang out while we sampled their lineup of brews. Then, a fill-up on our way back to the bus(apparently it's legal since he has a limo license) before we headed to 5 Seasons West. Kevin lined up a flight of 6 of their beers and we ordered food and filled up to prepare for the rest of the day. Picked up a few beers at Hop City(right next door) and got on the bus to Monday Night Brewing. This is where the VIP really kicked in, there must have been 75 people waiting to get in, but we walked right around and into the tasting room, not going to say we were the most popular people as we walked thru the line, but they should have come with us. Lines were long to get to the beer, but if you stay with your group, get in line, get beer, and get back ing line with your group as you drink, you will be good. Try to find the MNB tour guide named "Duck" he give the best tours. Try the Serrano Pepper IPA, it will blow your mind. Another Serrano IPA for the bus, and we are on to Sweetwater, since we took our time getting the group together, Kevin called his girl at Sweetwater and lined it up so that we could stay a little later after they kicked everyone else out. Got to enjoy some tasty beers there with Taylor the Tour Girl(yes guys, she is smokin' hot and know her sh!t about beer). So now, it's time to head back to the ATH with a pretty good buzz and don't have to worry about driving at all. I cannot wait until the next trip. I've been to all of these breweries before, but it was completely different in a group like this.
