After reading all the stellar reviews, I am shocked that my husband and I didn't have an experience that lived up to the hype. First of all, we were not greeted when we entered, and although two customers were ahead of us, I expected some sort of welcome. Secondly, while the main building has lovely landscaping and multiple seating areas, the creek is hard to see, and the road noise is distracting. This was not a relaxing location for a date night. Thirdly, the "deli" section offers a limited selection of blocks of unsliced cheese, boxes of crackers, and chocolates. Offering a curated selection of wine pairings would have gone a long way in improving our visit. Lastly, the wines just didn't compare to other area vineyards we visited around Dahlonega. We enjoyed the Gewurtztraminer and the Underdog, but we tossed several other selections.

Absolutely five stars for Accent Cellars! I first came back in 2021 for my surprise engagement party, and they worked with my parents and (now) in-laws to curate a wonderful experience with beautiful wines and music! We came yesterday for a bachelorette celebration, and it was my second time here. We got in relatively early, so there wasn't much of a crowd. Will was very helpful, and he took the time to help us pick our flights. I got the red flight, and my friends got the sweet flight and the light picks flight. I enjoyed each of my picks, and my friends enjoyed most of theirs as well. While we each chose flights that were pre-curated on the menu, guests have the option of building their own flight with any four or five wines. Despite it being cold outside, we were very comfortable sitting out back. The porch was enclosed in plastic curtains, and our table had a fireplace in the middle! As soon as we sat outside, Will came out to turn it on for us. We even had to move out of the sun since it got so toasty. My favorite part of the winery was the cats. There were two sweet little guys walking around the property, and they were so friendly! I left my two kitties at home to come on this trip, so it was comforting having them around. I definitely plan on being back!

Summertime tasting: Verdejo, Gewurtztraminer, Blanc du Bois, Zinfandel, and Wanderlust

When we were starting to get into wine, we stopped here to give them a try and attempt to learn something. Situated in a smaller house (like an older convenience store) with a larger porch and a field with a creek adjacent, Accent welcomes you in to imbibe. We have come here twice and had a tasting lead by Tyler, one of the owners. He has been very helpful in educating on wine and even had some great recommendations we tried when we visited wine country. He does not grow his own grapes, but that is no problem since he sources them well to make his own excellent wines. We have let him guide our tastings and he did not disappoint! Our favorites have been the gewurztraminer, hitchhiker, underdog and Verdejo. This is a must stop when thinking of wine in north Georgia!

Great mom and pop winery! Small and views aren't fabulous. You can see construction and a gas station from the patio but we've been wanting to check this place out for sometime. They put a lot of love into their wine and that did it for me. Apparently their head wine maker came from Montaluce Winery so they know what they are doing. They have a variety of wines; reds, whites, sweeter, tastings. We wanted to commit to a bottle so they let us try a few before deciding. Very helpful staff and knowledgeable. The weather was warm so we decided on the gewurztraminer. It was delicious! No food which is what would have made this place just awesome! I believe I saw some small snacks like crackers and cheese but actual food would have made us stay all day. A great place to bring out of town friends or on a quick winery stop. This has more of a "friendly neighborhood winery" feel. Come here with an open mind and open palate. Don't set your sights too high on the views but the wine makes up for it.

Hubs and I stayed at the Laurel Creek B&B about a year ago. It was one of our first trips away from our kiddo and we heard great things about the wineries in the Dahlonega area. We asked the owners of the B&B which winery they recommended. Accent was at the top of their list. Accent reminds me of visiting Fredericksburg when we lived in Austin. And it reminds me of the Austin Winery. Contemporary, few-frills, just pure passion and intelligence driving the wine decisions here. Tyler runs the show and what an amazing human he is. Always in 12 different directions at once, but giving each of those directions the attention they deserve. While the inside is modest, laden with decor from his sister, I believe, the show stopper here is the grounds. There's a covered patio with cafe lighting and an extended pavilion. This all overlooks a creek and a secondary house that showcases their regular cadence of comedy shows and live music. My three year old has single-handedly covered all of the green space. It truly is a family friendly space. Grounds aside, it is important to note the wine. I've yet to meet someone who has the down-to-earth personality matched with the passion for the intricate nature of wine that Tyler possess. He's able to break each offering down to you in a way that appeals to you. While this may have a lot to do with his intelligence, it also has a lot to do with the badass wine they house. I'm partial to their red varietals, but I'm convinced nothing there is undesirable. Aside from the grounds, delicious wine, and live events, I'd also like to applaud their integrity. In the maybe, 6 times I've been there, I've mistakingly left my designer wallet there twice. Both times, they've kept it in their great care and held onto it until I could make the 1.5 hour trip back up to retrieve it. Major kudos. I'm not going to remove a star here, but the only change I'd make is that I wish they were closer to where I lived in Marietta.

This was definitely the shocker of the 3 winery tour I did this past weekend! Quaint but super comfortable and EXCELLENT wines! I am not a lover of wine nor do I get impressed after something is talked-up but Tyler was ON POINT! so engaging and knowledgeable while extremely down to earth. I like alot of what I tried and have opened up my mind to new varietals. Great spacing, affordable bottle prices and super clean establishment.

One more wine tasting stop! This was a recommendation from another stop. A great chill spot. It was a light crowd but it was early in the day. We had just did some hiking at the falls so we were ready for a nice glass of wine. We bought a bottle of the pinot to have later as we reminisce about our trip. Very nice! The wine was really good and the owner was super knowledgeable not just about wine but lots of things in general. Ask him about MacGuffins! Stop in for some great wine and conversation.

Really enjoyed our quiet evening here for Memorial Day. We were one of two tables and really enjoyed speaking with the bartender and learned about our wine tasting. As encouraged on their website, we brought our own picnic and enjoyed playing their board games. Our favorite part was of course the wine but also the cellar cats. We hope to be back for an art class one day

This place was so awesome! My family came for my birthday and we felt so welcome and really enjoyed our time here. 100% will recommend and will return next time we are in town. Perks: family and animal friendly! We came with my 1 year old and it was a comfortable and safe environment.

    Such good wine!

Such a cute and wonderful place for a quick getaway to enjoy some fresh air with beautiful scenery and some wine. A few of my girlfriends and I decided we needed a break from our everyday life that has led us to spend most of our time indoors with our families and the main reason we came here was because they listed their COVID protocols on their website front and center and seemed very dedicated to keeping their patrons safe as much as they could. I loved that their was plenty of parking and outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful trees, open land, and creek that sat right next to the building. The space is so cool and full of some amazing artwork that we found was created by the owners sister and available for sale. They had shirts, stickers, hats, and wine glasses available for purchase as well. We arrived at the perfect time as there were less than 5 people indoors and only a few people had gathered in their outdoor picnic area space. The young man, Tyler, that greeted us was so friendly and explained the types of wine they had and allowed us to start a tab while we tried some new wine and took a seat out one of their outdoor patio tables. We brought plenty of crackers, cheese, and meat to make a cute little charcuterie board, snacks, and water to keep our little party going. I liked that at both the main entrance and the entrance from the patio that their was a reminder to wear your mask and to be mindful of the amount of people indoors as to maintain social distancing. We tried a few different types of wine - some red, some whie but all delicious and even took home a bottle of this blueberry red wine and bottle of the Georgia Sunrise. I absolutely loved just being able to enjoy a relaxing day with the girls and their was even some live music happening. The staff were so gracious and knowledgeable about the various wine they had in stock and we tried quite a bit. They kept our bottles in the fridge while we drank from our glasses outdoors so that each time we decided it was time for a refill, our wine was nice and chilled. We stayed for quite some time and I loved that their was a separate fridge by the front entrance with a sign that offered a free water/soda to the designated driver! The prices for the bottles of wine were very reasonable and I am mulling the idea of going back in the next few weeks just for another quick break from this new normal we find ourselves in.

First time here. Didn't stay long. Just dropped in to pick up a bottle of their best red cellar (har har) called Underdog. The host let us sample before we bought. This place had a nice vibe to it with a nice lawn with games and outdoor seating to enjoy.

Accent cellars by far puts Quality over quantity. With a large variety of complex and interesting wines. You simply can't go wrong here. This is winemaking done right! Highly highly recommend

I had my crew up from Chattanooga in town, and we couldn't have picked a better spot to celebrate. We kicked things off at the main restaurant for brunch, and honestly, the vibes there never miss. I wanted to keep it a bit lighter since I knew we'd be exploring, so I went with a crisp glass of wine, some fresh focaccia, and the Thai Butternut Squash Soup. That soup was incredible. It was perfectly creamy with just the right kick. Everything hit the table so fast, and the service was on point. My friend even surprised me with a lemon drop cupcake, which was the sweetest touch to a chill afternoon on the patio. After we ate, we headed out for a tour and I was honestly shook by how massive this property is. I've been here before, but I had no idea the trails went back that far. The views are unreal and made for the perfect post-brunch stroll. By the time we finished the trail, we'd worked up a second appetite, so we finally hit up Trattoria di Montaluce. I usually skip it because the brunch normally leaves me stuffed, but I'm so glad we went for it this time. That wood-fired Margherita pizza was easily the best I've had in a minute. There's just something about that wood-fired crust that hits differently! This has seriously been the best birthday month ever, and everyone coming into town to celebrate has made it so special. Of course, I couldn't leave without hitting the gift shop for that coconut scrub. If you know, you know. This stuff makes your hands feel like velvet. It's a total staple. It's not super easy to find! Dahlonega has lots of interesting twists and turns and back alley shops and some shops blended in so well with other places, that a random door opens up to more unique experiences. So, that's how we found this place. We were waiting to get our names in for Bourbon Street Grille, and this random door behind us boasted wine tasting. I thought it was just a one room deal behind us. When you see the door and the shop, you'll fully understand. If you like wine, this is worth it and a MUCH better deal than the Wine Festival (which is what we came for). It's not a big place and technically only has about 8 seats at the bar for tasting. Thankfully, it seemed all the festival goers didn't know about this place (bc it's totally a Harry Potter hidden type of deal) so we got 4 seats. The kids roamed around the shop while we tried wine. The flights are $12/$16 based off the wines you want. They have white, red, blended and rose. Oh, check in on Yelp and receive one free taste of any wine (I used mine)!!! I did the Rose, Merlot, Vidal Blanc, Pinot Grigio, and the Petit Manseng. Loved the Merlot (had a spicy after taste) the most! Then the Pinot Grigio. The Petit Manseng is their strongest wine but was my least favorite. However, I tasted the Trillium from someone else's in our group and LOVED IT. We ended up buying a bottle of Mtn Harvest Red plus the Apfelwein (the lady described it so well and made us want to get a bottle). I can honestly say I had such a buzz from the flight that I stopped drinking when we went to go eat. The wine was really good and certainly hit, so be careful! Totally worth checking this place out, if you can find it!!!
