Absolutely gorgeous view! Went for my anniversary lunch and I highly recommend it. The food was scrumptious, the atmosphere was divine.

Came here on a Sunday for a day trip from the city; it's about 1.5 hours from Decatur. Upon arrival, parking may seem limited at first, but there's actually plenty available. We parked at the bottom of the venue and had to climb the stairs to the top. If you're lucky, you might catch a ride in the golf cart, but if you're seated in the back, hold on tight because it's a steep ride! We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, which features a different theme each month and never disappoints. If brunch isn't your thing, you can enjoy a wine tasting in the tasting room located below the main dining area. If you're there for brunch, you're also allowed to go back and forth between the tasting room and dining room during your allotted table time. I definitely recommend visiting any time of year; the views alone are worth the trip! read more

The brunch buffet ($48 per person) was good-ish, not amazing, but still enjoyable. The charcuterie board was excellent. This was our favorite stop. We got pizza here and man was it good! It looks like they have many other options and host special events with buffets as well but, the tasting was nice in that they don't expect you to sit or stand with them the whole time. They give you a card and you come and go as you walk around and sip your tasting. The levels on this hill are fun and the outdoor spaces are a nice hang. The hubby and I decided to take a day trip to Wolf Mountain Vineyards to have our "first ever" wine tasting experience. It was so much fun. We live in OTP Atlanta, so getting to drive to Dahlonega and get some Mountain View's is always a nice time! The entire location was gorgeous and purely picturesque. From entry, to the vineyard, to the tasting room and views - it was worth it for the drive alone. The staff was so friendly and ready to help us understand each wine we decided to try. They offer a wine club option for those that want bottles on the regular, and are also dog friendly. The grounds are gorgeous and offer a walking path where you can see parts of the vineyard and wedding venue area. For wine tastings they offer three options: a reserve mix, a sparkling, and a WMV only reserve. Each have a set wine list and are various prices. Additionally, the outside bar offers a small food area that sells flatbreads, and small bites. My husband and I tried their dip trip which came with pita chips. The three dips included a spinach dip, pimento cheese dip, and a shredded salmon dip. All were amazing in their own way. read more

We read mixed reviews and were skeptical so we were going to eat before coming. We were pleasantly surprised by the large portions as my husband is a big eater. Our server was over the top amazing, Searg, recommended the pizza for my husband. I thought the salmon would be a baby salmon, but in all actuality, it was a healthy juicy delicious not overcooked portion on a beautiful salad. The views were amazing. They even honored our reservation after we were a few minutes late. They accommodated us and talked to the chef so we were served. We will definitely visit this place again. This is a very busy vineyard--super popular for its beautiful scenery, viewing/sitting areas, and event venues. The cafe is amazing--we got there right as it closed so we were looking around as the employees were cleaning up, but it's definitely something I'd like to try next time. The wine tasting itself is on the pricier end, and you don't get to put the money you spent on the tasting to any wine you decide to buy or anything like that, plus the employees pouring the wine tend to be so busy that you don't quite get that personal touch. They were knowledgeable and professional, but hard to feel the love when they're whisked away to the next group as soon as they're done pouring. My friends and I drove up to Wolf Mountain Vineyards one Saturday for lunch and a wine tasting. Wolf Mountain Vineyards is my favorite winery in North GA. I have been here several times and it just keeps getting better and better every time I come here for a wine tasting or for lunch. My friends know the owners and the staff very well because they are wine club members for many years and they have brought the winery a lot of business over the years. We were able to get a great table by the window overlooking the North GA mountains. The wine tasting room is gorgeous and has a wonderful bar area where you can stand around the bar to do the wine tasting or sit out on the outside deck to do the wine tasting. Wolf Mountain Vineyards is known for their award winning sparking wines, especially their Brut Rose Champagne and their Brut Reserve Champagne. The service is above and beyond expectations. We have always had exceptional first class service from the staff in the wine tasting room and in the restaurant. Our server for lunch, Austin, was very professional and fantastic. He took very good care of us in the restaurant and did not miss a beat on anything. The food is excellent and very high quality. I ordered the Flying Dutchman flatbread pizza which was roasted chicken, Maplewood bacon, smoked Gouda cheese, and some onion. It was fantastic and incredible. My friend had the beef brisket sandwich and fries which he enjoyed very much. My friend also had a birthday coming up so Austin was kind enough to arrange a complimentary birthday dessert which consisted of cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, and carrot cake with some chocolate sauce. It was delicious!! We had a bottle of 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve, which was the best Cabernet Sauvignon I have had in a long time. I have never had a wonderful lunch experience quite like Wolf Mountain Vineyards, and I cannot recommend this winery highly enough to my friends. You get your money's worth on the wine and lunch you pay at this winery. It is the best winery In North GA to date!! We really enjoyed this winery! It's about an hour and 15 minutes from Atlanta, not too bad, and you have wonderful scenery as you head up the mountain. There are three tastings options that go at your own pace with a card to keep track. Tastings range from $30-50 per, which felt a little expensive. The sparkling tasting is 4 wines ($30), all of them solid; our faves were the brut rose (refreshing, crisp) and the blanc de blanc (acidic, fresh). The wine makers selection tasting is 5 wines ($30), with several standouts, mixture of white and reds, non-sparkling. LOVED the claret (bold red, predominantly cab sav, strong dark cherry/currant flavor), enjoyed the howling red (Syrah, cab sauv blend, smooth red) and the chanteloup (easy drinking white wine, a little tart which I liked!). The tastings are on the main/lower floor with a large inside bar, and a smaller outside bar from which you can buy glasses/bottles or snacks. We shared an app during the tasting that was so yummy - the burrata and prosciutto app with a drizzle of balsamic and served with yummy seasoned fried crunchy crackers! So good. We ended up getting a bottle of the brut rose and the claret. They had a buffet brunch on the Sunday we went, which was pretty solid, in the cafe upstairs. Standouts - tomato bisque (super flavorful, not too thick), eggs Benedict served over a grit cake (amazing), fried chicken (flavorful, moist), and French toast casserole. I can't believe I'm just now posting this 5/5 review. My boyfriend and I have a goal of visiting as many vineyards as possible together. We lucked out where our very first one (visited 2/18/23) became our unbeatable favorite: Wolf Mountain! I've since taken my mom here as well (10/13/23) and she enjoyed it too. The ambiance is cozy. You're allowed to walk the trails with your wine in hand, so we alternate enjoying the indoor as well as outdoor experience. The service is great. We did wine tastings both times we've been here and the bartender is always friendly and gives a little info about each glass. The food is incredible as well. So far, we've had the pizzas: margherita & white pie. I'm not sure why I didn't get a pic of the white pizza... probably because everything was so good it slipped my mind! We look forward to returning this year and the years to come (hopefully more frequently--the ~1.5 hour drive North to Dahlonega is worth it)! read more

We recently decided to do a weekend trip out to Dahlonega and we saw this place about 1 week out from our trip date. We managed to snag a last minute lunch reservation and were SO excited to be able to come here. The views are absolutely breathtaking. They were out of a lot of the wines we wanted to taste, and we were told we could only sample them if we were part of their wine club. Between the 4 of us, we ordered 3 different pizzas and the duck burger. Everything tasted amazing, and they even have a gluten free pizza crust option. The only downside is there are absolutely NO substitutions, so there was something we wanted to order but couldn't because we weren't allowed to omit anything even for allergies. read more

I know folks who used Wolf Mt. for their wedding reception and RAVED about food, service and customer care. I imagine party's can be altered to group size? Not sure if possibilities. Looked very elegant on 2 levels. I did not see handicapped assistance down a few steps but could have been possible. Food was surpeburg and creative soup to nuts. I'm sure Wolf will work with needs of client. I can only imagine the dinner was expensive. Food was well plated and Chef was introduced. Very impressive and of course the wine was Devine! I visited during a road trip through Georgia a few weeks ago, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. Tucked away in a serene, secluded area, the moment you arrive, it feels like you've stepped into a different world--almost like you're no longer in the U.S. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was cozy, and the wine? Absolutely fantastic. It had a relaxed, intimate vibe that made it all the more special. I opted for their Standard Wine Tasting, which featured two whites, two reds, and a rosé--each one better than the last. Chef's kiss! We started our day with a two short hikes on the way from where we were staying in Blue Ridge, and after reading the reviews and seeing the pics of food offerings at wolf mountain, I knew this would be a great spot to grab lunch after. I made a reservation a few weeks prior and I'm glad I did, as we had the most perfect table closest to the window in the enclosed patio area. We split the club sandwich (literally the best club I've ever had), the Flying Dutchman pizza and some of the turnpike fries. Everything was SO delicious. I had a glass of their sparkling rose while my bf went with a glass of a red, both were perfectly dry and amazing! I was intrigued by their viognier blend so we split a glass that while moving outside to take in the views. what a truly glorious visit to Wolf Muntain Vineyards. we were on our own mini tour of the wine region on Mamas taxi. I had polled friends and people from the area and one constant was for sure, Wolf Mountain. And Mamas taxi was happy to oblige. We pulled up and walked in. we were advised to take a look at the guitars in the side atrim and I did. Very cool. They had all kinds of guitars signed by the entire band. I'm pretty sure there was a Eagles guitar and maybe a Floyd, but all legendary bands and guitarist. But on to the wine. we wandered downstairs to the tasting room or bar. Luckily we came and a time that was only slightly busy; we were able to get a bar high table inside(a lot of people were outside). We started with the whites and rose's. and finished with reds, as one would do. We liked enough of the wines we bought two, to bring home. It really was one of the best winery's we have been to recently, so I wish I wrote more. Let me say, make this one of your top winery's in the Dahlonega area to hit. read more

Arrival: parking at this location is tricky for first timers but we were able to find some wine club members you guided us. Expect some narrow rows but they aren't too bad to navigate. The staff is super friendly and great at describing the menu. Food and beverage: We ordered the seasonal brunch cocktails but they were very sweet, we switched to their signature sparkling rose and it was the best decision of the day. I encourage everyone to try their dip sampler it's so delicious! We ordered the salads and honestly the portions are huge! All the ingredients were fresh and crisp and they were accompanied by the most gorgeous views. The only disappointing part was their coffee which tasted like bottom of the barrel gas station coffee but then again, we did not come here for the coffee. Wolf Vineyards Cafe is located in a beautiful setting with wonderful views. The Tasting Room is on the lower level, and the Cafe is just above. Driving in it is just one lane when you get close, and the lots are small, so you might want to park in one of the first available lots you see if it's busy. I recommend reservations if you want to dine in their Cafe although you can order food from the tasting room bar and sit outside. For our appetizer, my wife and I shared a Burratta, Prosciutto, and Arugula, with a Balsamic Glaze plate. The star of the dish, and the meal, was surprisingly the arugula, which was the most flavorful I've ever had. The flavor burst in my mouth like in a bad breath mint commercial. The buratta was fresh and delicious. The prosicutto was crisped and accompanied the other two well. 10 out of 10 stars. As an entree, we shared a Gambino pizza, Neopolitan style. It had sausage, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, and dollops of ricotta cheese. My wife raved about it, I liked it. Two issues: the crust tasted a little dense, not light. It's a fine line to draw when you're cooking at 850* (?), and you don't want it to have a huge flop, so it's not a big deal to me. Also, the caramelized onions were left off 1/3 of the pizza. The careless distribution of ingredients is contrary to the excellence of the rest of our meal. Their wines are sparkling and dry. I don't like sparkling and dry wines. They aren't my wife's favorites, either. But we found a dry red, Howlin Wolf, which is a blend of Shiraz, Syrah, and Cab that we liked. $40 for the bottle at the table. Our server, Chris, was excellent. No complaints. Wolf Vineyards is worth the ride if you want to enjoy first-class Cafe dining in a beautiful setting. read more

A few friends of mine are wine club members here and brought me along since they stop by every quarter. We made a reservation on a Friday afternoon and it was packed on this fall day. The vineyard was easy to find and the drive to the cafe is through their vines. There's ample of parking, but you might have to walk some steps. The dining room was large and bright. We were greeted and seated right away when we arrived. I love the floor to ceiling windows with a lovely view of the leaves changing colors. Our server was so sweet. We each started off with some wine and I love the claret and the coupage (Malbec). The claret is full body and really stood out and the coupage was easy to drink. The pork belly burger was fantastic! The pork belly was soft and smothered in a sweet glaze and I love the green apple slaw and the brioche bun. The fries are crispy and salted perfectly. My Bride and her father had the Chantaloup, a blend of oak-aged Chardonnay and steel-aged Viognier which she declared "quite good." I feel bad for ordering the coffee, because our poor, young waiter had to brew a fresh pot, and I couldn't drink it. It was, bar none, the worst cup of coffee I have ever tasted, and the second sip merely confirmed that. I drank my water and the pitcher of cream, but that's it.
