In our area, it seems like this cuisine is having it's moment. First off, i've come to find that mediterranean food is a big umbrella. After speaking with the staff, i believe Mashawi is more specifically palestinian. The concept of this place is what sets it apart. They make it easy for the new comer or the veteran by telling you that there is nothing to order, you just enjoy. Right out of the gate, the side dishes and salads are presented like you are at a wedding feast. It is family style so you have to be quick if you want first dibs on the babaganoush or the hummus, and especially the Falafel (best i have ever had). Don't worry if you are slow to the draw because they will refill all sides and salads. The hardest part abotu Mashawi is having self conctrol because what comes next is a parade of seasoned meats and proteins that only get better. Reccomend the Steak, Kifta, and shrimp and Salmon. I have only been for dinner and at the end of this glorious meat train, they will ask if you would like more! It's a great family experience, or a night out with other friends. If you are wanting to introduce this cuisine to rookies, this place is perfect because there is no pressure to choose the right item. There plenty of choices for everyone to find something to eat. My last piece of advice would be to wait to order the Mint Drink at the end as a paltte clenser. They tempt you with a taste at first, but waiting till the end is the perfect punctuation to a unique and unforgettable meal. read more

We tried Mashawi for the first time and thought the concept was interesting -- different Middle Eastern meats are brought directly to the table, somewhat similar to a Brazilian steakhouse experience. At $45.99 per adult, it is less expensive than Fogo de Chão, so I wouldn't expect the same level of meat quality. We tried quite a few of the meats, and while everything was fine, we found the quality, texture, and flavor fairly average. The portions brought to the table were also surprisingly small -- for example, two shrimp and a very small piece of salmon at a time. Since it is all-you-can-eat, you can ask for more, but overall the experience didn't feel particularly generous. The most unusual part of our experience was the mansaf. It is listed as part of the all-inclusive menu, and since none of us had ever tried it, we specifically asked for it. The gentleman serving us strongly discouraged us from ordering it, explaining that mansaf is very heavy and that usually Jordanian customers come specifically for it. Later, when we asked again, he told us that since we were already full, there was really no need to order it. He did say he would bring it if we really wanted it, but after being discouraged multiple times, it felt awkward to insist, so we ultimately didn't try it. We understand that mansaf comes as a large dish and that he may simply have been trying to prevent food waste, which is understandable. At the same time, since it is specifically listed as an included item, we were surprised to be so strongly discouraged from ordering it. We were genuinely interested in trying a traditional Jordanian dish, not simply ordering more food because it was included. Overall, the concept is interesting and the price is reasonable for an all-you-can-eat meal. It is also fair to keep the lower price point in mind when comparing it with places like Fogo. But between the average meat quality, small portions, and the awkward experience around ordering the mansaf, we probably won't return. read more

So my friend and I came here for a late lunch and she ordered the lunch option for one. She came from far so I wanted to give her some company and joined her. I had already ate since it was late but she had a long drive back and decided to stop by this place which is only 10 mins from me. The manager or owner came by to see what I wanted to eat and I told him I am only here to spend time with my friend and not eat since I already ate. He felt offended some way so I said "I will share with my friend" please tell me in what language does share with my friend mean I want TWO orders of the lunch option? You can only order lunch or dinner that has a preset menu. Which includes couple of meats, dips and pita. We received one individual bowl of each item that was listed out, one basket of pita, and one set of meats. We got the bill and there were two lunch orders, so we told the server mind you he had been coming to our table the whole time and then sends his server to take our bill. We informed the server that we only ordered one lunch and we were being overcharged, manager then comes and said it was two orders and walks away. This is the first time I've encountered anything like that so beware! It's sad that he could not honor what was explicitly told and did this to us, because the food was good and I really wanted to bring my family here but not after this deceit read more

I loved it because literally a nice spot aesthetic inside the service here for how they deliver you the food on a stick like when it comes to the meat so creative and unique I loved the kebabs, the lamb, the shrimp the salmon that they gave us. I absolutely love Mashawi. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the metro Atlanta area. The first thing that stands out is how incredibly clean everything is. The restaurant is always spotless, and the ambiance is warm, inviting, and beautiful. The food is consistently amazing. My favorites are the baba ganoush, hummus, fresh pita, pickles, olives, pickled beets, cabbage, and lentil soup. I actually never liked baba ganoush until I tried it here, and now it's one of my favorite things on the menu. Their lentil soup is also one of the best I've had in the Atlanta area. I love the tabbouleh as well, and there are plenty of delicious vegan options to choose from. The all-you-can-eat concept is a huge bonus because there are so many fresh and flavorful dishes to enjoy. As a vegan, I always have plenty of options and leave feeling satisfied. Everything tastes fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I eat here often sometimes multiple times a week and the quality never disappoints. This dining experience was such a pleasant surprise. I saw a post on TikTok that talked about the cleanliness of the kitchen and it's near the dealership I go to, so I decided to stop in. The restaurant is very beautiful and clean. I browsed the reviews before I arrived, but I didn't really grasp the concept of how the food is served. I arrived around lunch time and there were a few other guests dining. I sat at the bar and was given a sample of the lemon and mint drink. It was an instant love! It's almost like a mint-lemonade slushie. They offer a variety of other fresh juices as well. I browsed the lunch menu, but didn't see lamb chops. I was informed that I could get the dinner which included lamb chops for $35 during lunch. Initially, I thought I would order lamb chops and rice, but boy was I in for a surprise! The food is served as a continuous table side experience. My eyes got so big when the initial serving arrived. I thought a joke was being played on me, lol! It consisted of several spreads, salads and dips including tahini and hummus. There was also delicious garlic pita bread and even chicken schnitzel, lamb shawarma and chicken shawarma. Later, a sever brought out a selection of grilled meats including lamb kabob, lamb chops, grilled chicken, salmon and shrimp. Everything I tried was bursting with flavor. The meats were grilled to perfection. This is definitely one of the best dining experiences I've had in 2025. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Come hungry! We came here late on a Friday evening ready to eat. The ambiance is sooo cute, and I can definitely imagine coming here with my whole family. The food was incredible and everyone who stopped by our table was soooo nice. Shoutout to Ameer who was our server! If you like Arab / Mediterranean food, this place is for you! Mashawi is similar in concept to a Brazilian Steak House. They bring out soooo many different side dishes without you ordering something specific. If there is something specific on the menu that they haven't brought out , you can order that. Then the meats (shwarma, kofta kabobs, juicy steaks, fish, and shrimp) come one by on, sometimes on the skewers. All under one cost (45.99 for dinner). I also got the Limoo Naana drink (Lemon Mint), and it was very refreshing. A bit of serendipity lead us to this Mediterranean restaurant for the first time. While looking to take my partner to another nearby Alpharetta Mediterranean restaurant, I inadvertently got the Mansell Road address mixed up with the Mashawi. I had previously been to the other restaurant and walking into the Mashawi I freaked out because it looked totally different from the other intended destination. The concept is really cool: Lunch Set price, and they bring you rounds of different proteins and sides until you've had it all. Dinner All-you-can-eat with premium steaks and proteins. If you want more of something, just ask, and they'll bring it to you. The food was delicious -- everything had great flavor, from the chicken and beef to the rice, naan bread, salads, and veggies. The sauces were perfect, and the juices were fresh and refreshing. The restaurant itself is colorful, comfortable, and inviting. The service was excellent, and the owner took time to explain that this style is something new in the area. He was right -- I haven't had an experience quite like this before. I love the concept of a set menu brought to the table with lots of variety- basically a quasi buffet. You get an array of salads, sauces, dips, meat, pita bread and rice. Everything is super flavorful. The meats are succulent, tender and marinated well. My favorites personally were the soft, pillowy pita bread, the garlic sauce, the chicken kabob and the Greek salad. Service was super fast, attentive but we did ask for warm water + spoons with the former needing a reminder and the latter never happening. We loved their mint drink too- so refreshing. Mashawi is an interesting add to the Atlanta halal food scene, similar to a Brazilian steakhouse concept. Ambience: the interior is nicely decorated and clean, with tasteful decor and finishes. It did feel like the tables were a bit on top of each other. The lighting is also very bright, so it removes any intimacy you may have with your table. Overall it felt like a restaurant you'd go with your family at for a nice weekend meal, rather than for a special occasion Food: the dips/appetizers/salads come at the beginning of the meal, everything tasted very fresh. There are so many options, similar to a banchan-style at a Korean restaurant. Our favorites were the beet salad, hummus, and Turkish salad. Not all items are brought to the table though, so you can ask for others if you'd like. Both the shawarma were incredibly dry, only palatable with the mezze. Then the waiter will come by with skewers with the standard options - beef and chicken kofta, chicken Kabab, fillet, and lamb chop. The meat was decently seasoned, although a bit over. The most delicious was the chicken kabob - so flavorful! You can ask for more items as you'd like, they prepare to your request. We also got drinks which were extra. The lemon/mint drink was nice and refreshing, a good way to balance out the rich meal. We tried the kunefe for dessert, which felt underwhelming. The top layer wasn't crispy or well set, and there were no nuts either. The cheese layer however tasted nice. Service: this was a bit of a pain point. The servers came to check in right as the food came and then completely abandoned our table for the next 40 minutes. We wanted other items on the menu, yet couldn't order for quite a long time. Finally my husband got someone's attention and they seemed disinterested to hear the items. My husband and I drove up from Buckhead after one of my clients highly recommended Mashawi -- and it did not disappoint. The ambience was very traditional Mediterranean style, which made the experience feel authentic and warm. The restaurant was extremely clean, and you can tell they take pride in maintaining their space. I especially loved the open kitchen -- being able to actually see the food being prepared adds a level of transparency and makes the whole experience feel even more special. Everything was incredibly fresh -- from the crisp salad to the perfectly seasoned meats and fish. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. I had the green mint drink, and it was so refreshing and fresh -- the perfect addition to the meal. We chose the $45 dinner option, and it was absolutely worth it. The amount of food we received for that price was amazing -- generous portions, high quality, and full of flavor. It honestly felt like a great value for everything included. The reason for the low rating is because I am pescatarian and I was not aware that the menu was set. Basically I had to eat what they gave me with very few seafood options with a $125 for the 2 of us. I basically ate 5 shrimp, falafel, vegetables and a bunch of sauces. This establishment is a hidden gem for delicious Mediterranean cuisine. You are served in true Middle-Eastern fashion, offerings are served from the heart and until you can't eat anymore. We spent nearly two hours at Mashawi, and most of that time was spent waiting for food. The service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We specifically told the staff that we did not want certain courses, yet they brought them out anyway. At the same time, when we asked for more of the items we actually wanted, they refused. The entire experience felt disorganized and frustrating. The food itself was okay, but nothing special. The biggest issue was the value. For the price, there was simply not enough meat served, and everyone in our group left hungry. Between the excessive wait times, poor service, and lackluster portions, the experience was not worth the cost. We will not be returning and would not recommend it. read more
