Great first time experience here. I got the lunch combo as recommended by a friend. It comes with a drink, side, and one main pita (the pocket not the platter larger dish) for under $15 which is pretty good. I got the red lentil soup which was delicious and was surprisingly filling in it of itself. I chose the kofta pita which comes with garlic and tahini sauces, onions, tomato's, pickled vegetables, and the meat. The latter kind of tasted like a burger with more flavour but on the whole the pita worked well. I would come back to get the chicken, beef, and other options as I usually enjoy a good gyro and everything looked pretty good here. read more

The food here is pretty good. I usually get the Shakshuka dish, which is an appetizer, but it is enough to fill me up. They give 2 pieces of bread/naan and are fairly generous when asking for more. I will say that sometimes the egg is cooked differently, I have had the egg well done and sometimes a bit runny, but when ordering, you can't choose how you want them cooked. Overall, the food is great, and the person that I ordered with got the Chicken Shawarma plate and absolutely loved it. They give a pretty hefty portion of food and allow you to choose which sides to include. My friend recommended that people order the plate with only Tahini and Tabbouleh. I don't eat meat, but the plate looks delicious. A heads up, the restaurant is really nice, but it is self service. So you can order on a kiosk or at the register, but when food is prepared, they call out your number and you have to go grab it from the front. Nothing wrong with it, the cooks are super helpful when directing you to your plate and giving and extra sides that you want. I am sad to report that I was underwhelmed by the food I had here. I ordered the mix kabob platter and the falafel patties. The food was flavorful and seasoned well but the meat was excessively dry. I don't know if it had sat on the fire grill for too long. I visited the adjoining market and picked up some fresh figs from the refrigerator case . Jerusalem Bakery is one of my favorite restaurants in the North Fulton area. The food is amazing, and the portions are large. It's a good value too, especially considering Middle Eastern food can be expensive at other places. I've tried a bunch of different things, but my favorite is the spicy chicken kebab platter. It's a big portion of flavorful kebabs, rice, and various dips. I also like that they give you extra side sauce for free- I usually get the spicy sauce and tahini sauce. I finish the entire plate and I'm stuffed for the day. I guess my only complaint is that they used to give this fresh and fluffy thick pita with the platters. Now they only give this sorry looking thin pita. I wish they would bring back the fluffy one. This is the best location, as it's modern and huge inside. Love the beef shawarma! Served with fresh ingredients and taste delicious. Tried the traditional hummus and was not a huge fan the flavor of the olive oil on top was a no for me personally. I just love this restaurant!! You order at the front counter and they call your number when your food is ready for pick up. This location is very different than the other location on Old Milton Parkway. The Roswell location is a lot bigger with a more open concept and more places to sit. Both locations get crowded during lunch and dinner times but the lines move fast and the food is constantly good! I normally order the Falafel pita but I've also ordered the Falafel on a bed of yellow rice and the chicken shawarma. They are soooo delicious!! The pita is filled with whatever delicious veggies you request. I normally fill mine with onions, lettuce, tomato, pickle, chickpeas and garlic sauce. The garlic sauce is the best and you can also request some on the side. They have a full kids menu as well. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Mediterranean meal! read more

A group of friends - ten - stopped in a little after 7 PM without telling them we were coming. During Ramadan, we were pleasantly received and our orders were taken right away. A dinner of Lamb and Chicken Kabob was shared with my wife. The dinner and the sides were delicious. We each had a drink and a piece of Baklava for dessert. My wife had walnut, while I chose pistachio. We found a large enough table for our group, ordered from the counter, then visited until our dinners were ready. Lunch was so delicious, what a beautiful place! Fresh baked goods baked on-site. Trays of Baklava galore, breads, etc.... The smell of grilled chicken and lamb catches you in the parking lot. Order a plate but be prepared to share because the portions are huge. Rice, pita, hummas, cucumber salad, babaganoosh, fresh herbs. There is so much to go with the delectable meat of your choice. The lamb was amazing, so I'm told. My chicken shawarma was tasty, and the hummus smooth as silk. The falafel not so great, small and dry, but everything else was amazing. Save room for the Baklava! I've had their food over the years and it has always been great. It most definitely hit the spot. Haven't been to eat in person at this particular location, but ordered it for delivery and the food was really good as expected. Not sure what or how they make their falafels but they are some of the best I've had anywhere. The texture, taste, softness is perfect. Their baklava is really good. They didn't have drinks on the delivery menu. One of the items we ordered was a beef sandwich, in the picture it seemed like it had fries on the plate and I just assumed it came with fries but it didn't. I guess reading the full menu thoroughly is important :). Their meat pie is more like a pizza pie. This place really lives up to the hype. I've been wanting to come for a while now, and we were not disappointed. Despite being a giant restaurant/bakery, it had the feel of a family-owned place. The kids were helping behind the counter, one of the employees was carrying her cute baby, etc. Everyone was friendly (even the kids!) and was patient with our bajillion questions. We got a truckload of food--the platter which comes with practically every meat on the menu, plus desserts and sides. All the meats were tender and juicy--even the chicken, which I was shocked at; too often I get dry lumps of bakawk and I was today years old when I realized that it was possible to get juicy ones. The hummus was creamy, came in a GIANT dish, and went so well with everything. Baba ganoush was also smoky and yummy, exactly like your favorite baba banoush but even better. Desserts were also amazing--our favorite was the classic baklava, but everything else (I don't know the names, sorry) was good. We tried almost one of each. I am already thinking about going back--my all time favorite is the lamb shank, which is just fall-off-the-bone tenderness in every bite. I didn't get the chance to check out the bread/bakery section of the restaurant, so I'll definitely be browsing and buying/eating a lot of those next time as well. The servings looks large! I popped over to the baklava counter. They have all sorts of variety! I picked 4 at random. Cost about $6 for all of them. Let me just say that they were SO worth it too! These baklava are probably some of my favorite ever. So flavorful and fresh. Jerusalem Bakery & Grill is located in a strip mall in Roswell off Alpharetta Highway. It is a very large and spacious restaurant--great for gatherings and dining in. They also have outdoor seating on the patio which is a great option when the weather is nice. My friend had her birthday party here and it was a good time! The restaurant is designed as self-service where you go up to the counter or digital kiosk to order, you receive a ticket, and then your order number is called. Once you're done with your meal then you would clear your plate and leave it by the trash receptacle. The birthday party was nice because we were able to leisurely go at our own pace with gifts, cake cutting, etc. The birthday girl had a great time, most importantly. Everyone at the party ordered something different including lamb platter, chicken kabob, falafel, gyro, etc. The food came out steaming hot and fresh and was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken kabob and it was soft and tender with plenty of rice, baba ganoush, tabouleh, pita bread, hummus and cucumber tomato salad. So healthy, nutritious and tasty! The restaurant is also connected to a store that sells breads, desserts and imported goods. We had birthday cake for dessert but I definitely look forward to trying the pink baklava next time. read more

This is my first visit to this location, but my experience with this one and every location I visited previously is that they have really excellent food. I used to think it was a little high price but considering how much prices for every other restaurant has gone up and these guys have stayed pretty much the same, it is now a very reasonably priced lunch that you get. The food is excellent. Just top notch and top quality. It's like every part has something unique and flavorful to add. Wraps are perfectly seared with a nice crunchy yet flaky texture. The meat is perfectly seared, flavorful and marinated. The accompaniments and sauces that they give you are top quality made sauces that really pull everything together. In addition, every side I've gotten is not an afterthought, but could also be a star dish. I typically stick with the rice just because of how much flavor it feels it has, but everything is excellent. Employees have been incredibly nice and even though they constantly stay packed, the food comes out fast as well. I certainly would come back here many times. read more
