Great addition to Roswell! We went with a large group and they were very accommodating considering we had 18 people. We had drinks (they were okay - a little on the sweet side), we ordered chili chicken, paneer chili, lasanu gobi, butter chicken, chicken tikka, shahi paneer, palak paneer, kofta curry, butter naan and garlic naan, as well as kids menu naan pizza and fries (which were so good). The food came out hot and the naan was very good! We got everything mild to medium spice since we had children with us and the flavors were all great (the kids could enjoy it which is the important factor) but the spice level could be better because I couldn't taste a different between the mild and medium! I would definitely try hot next time just for the adults. The portions are a little smaller than we thought and the prices are a little higher than we expected. Very beautifully decorated and it is nice to have another Indian restaurant other than Rasoi in Roswell itself.

Hidden behind the Corner Grocery store at the less assuming end of Canton Street, you might think it's a front for an organized crime unit that's expanded its operations from Queens and into north Atlanta. Alas, the inside is exactly what you might expect given the outside - the walls are each painted a different color - a color that you'd be hard pressed to find at Home Depot. The ceiling is mustard yellow, the kitchens Christmas green, and one wall of a small boy's bedroom pale blue. And yes, stuffed in this small space of ambiance is four TVs coupled with three gambling arcade games. The front kitchen resembles the makeup of a hot dog shop, though it's all they need. There's an outside patio that's decorated quite nicely for warmer days. Overall, the interior is what you want out of a real South Indian restaurant. You know the food will be good. You'll expect nothing less. The cuisine itself is quite vast for this little shop. A full half page itself dedicated to specialty dosas. Entrees that are common and others you may have only heard on Tony's episode to Hyderabad. It's as legit as you can find in north Georgia, perhaps anywhere in the south for that matter. The faces behind the counter are friendly and they're quick to recommend their favorites. Overall, it's a culinary experience that hinges on the senses of taste and smell and comfort that sometimes gets lost in a north Atlanta sea of overpriced menus with subpar American tacos. The next time I'm hungover, this is my spot.

Upon entering the restaurant there was no welcome, but rather a look of irritation by the guy behind the counter. I ordered carry away, so took the order and scooted. This chap actually, followed me out only to close the door. Now I really enjoy Indian food whether it be northern or southern but found the food to be acceptable. Not bad, not great. I found the portions meager. Sometimes a hole in the wall can blow you away in the best of ways. As my first time trying their food this was not my experience. Will I try it again probably who knows.

I was a bit apprehensive about the wait time as mentioned by previous folks, but guess it was my lucky day. Got seated in less than 5 minutes, got my food and ate it all within 45 minutes. This is a restaurant where most of the items are within the $10-$20 price range. I loved the no-frills ambience that reminded me of canteen stalls in Chennai, the sweet uncle (co-owner) Mr. Ramachandran who took my order and the featherlike Appam served with flavorful veg curry. They have many vegetarian options and the service beats everything. If you are in Alpharetta and haven't visited this place, you are really missing out. The spot is located in a mall, so there are plenty of parking spots available and the store is easy to locate. I also think the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

With all the low health scores lately, Aapka still got a 100 and isn't in a fancy/brand-new facility. They genuinely care about the health of their customers and it shows. The restaurant is in the back of the Montana's shopping center, so it's not hard to find but not visible easily from the road. The menu is focused on regional cuisine, fresh ingredients, authentic recipes, and the needs of their local customer base. Kay (the owner) told us quite about about her focus on Northern Indian cuisine, which is less hot, so this is a great place for beginners - especially on Saturday or Sunday when there's a buffet with a good variety of items and good quality. Their staff is well-trained and friendly. The gentleman who was working on Saturday took plenty of time to explain dishes on the buffet and was obviously well-aware of how the food was made. I can't eat dairy, and a lot of Indian dishes have cream, yogurt, or butter, but they had 3 dairy-free dishes on the buffet! I would have been totally happy with that, but he also brought me special vegan sweets because the gulab jamun on the buffet had dairy. We will definitely be back - I can't remember the last time I ate Indian food at a restaurant and felt great afterwards, so I'm really happy to have this local gem and want to see them succeed!

I finally made it to Bombay Flames Indian Restaurant, and let me tell you, the hype is 100% real!…read moreEver since I moved back to the Metro-Atlanta area, everyone has been telling me I had to check out this culinary gem. Today was finally the day! My friends were actually craving Crafted Burgers by Shane (which happens to be right next door), but my soul was screaming for authentic flavor-packed Indian cuisine. From the moment I walked through the doors of Bombay Flames, the hospitality was unmatched. I was greeted with the most pleasant welcome. Because the Georgia weather was absolutely perfect today. It was complete with a gorgeous blue sky and a cool breeze. I just had to grab a seat on their beautiful outdoor patio. When it comes to exploring the Alpharetta dining scene, I love stepping out of my comfort zone and trying new dishes. While I usually default to traditional samosas, the Mixed Vegetable Pakoras immediately caught my eye. These golden, crispy spinach, onion, and potato fritters were seasoned to absolute perfection. Consider the bar officially raised for Indian appetizers in North Fulton. I'll definitely save the samosas for my next visit, because those pakoras are a tough act to follow. I went looking for my absolute favorite comfort food: Chana Masala. At Bombay Flames, they list it on the menu as Chole (also known as Chana Masala). No matter what name you use, it features those same incredible, delicious ingredients: tender chickpeas simmered to perfection in traditional North Indian spices, aromatic onions, and juicy tomatoes. And you know there was absolutely no way I was overlooking a side of fresh Garlic Naan. Now, if you know me, you know that food presentation is key to winning my heart. Bombay Flames completely exceeded my expectations! Not only was the plating stunning, but the portion sizes were incredibly generous. I made sure to ask for boxes because there was no way I could finish all of this incredible food. Lunch next week is gonna rock! Everything arrived at the table piping hot, ultra-fresh, and bursting with authentic flavor. I asked the kitchen to crank up the heat to a Level 3 Spicy for the Chole they delivered the perfect kick! But the real standout superstar was The Garlic Naan. It was buttery, moist, pillowy-soft, and packed with flavor. I've been to many Indian restaurants where the naan turns out dry and brittle, but Bombay Flames nailed the texture flawlessly. Overall, I had a spectacular, five-star dining experience. If you are looking for the absolute best Indian restaurant in Alpharetta, GA for date night, patio dining, or an incredible lunch, this is your sign to go. I cannot wait to return and eat my way through the rest of the menu! #AtlFoodie #AlpharettaEats #AtlantaRestaurants #Foodstagram #IndianFoodLovers #DiscoverATL #AlpharettaFoodie #WeLoveATL #NorthFultonEats #ashsaidit

It's behind the Shell gas station on Roswell Road across from the PNC plaza. Honestly I need Google to update where this location is located. Looks might be deceiving while the restaurant has downgraded in size and appearance. It is still one of my favorite Pakistani restaurants. The meat here is Halal and it has so much flavor. The restaurant is actually a lot smaller. It's more of a stall now in my opinion there's only three tables. The menu has also significantly decreased in size, but if you're looking for the full size restaurant, they still have one I believe in Gwinnett. It's just too far for me to drive to. This one is about 40 minutes from my house so it's doable. While the restaurant might not look the cleanest, there's no AC, and the staff is hidden in the kitchen. The food really makes up for it. You do have to walk up to the ordering window because they will not come to your table unless they bring your food. I got two orders of the Tandoori chicken kebabs. It was everything my taste buds needed. It does take time to cook so I had to wait about almost 20 to 30 minutes. I wish they had cold drinks because my sprite was room temperature. This is definitely more of a to go restaurant. I would not come in a group of more than four people. when I tell you this place is a lot smaller than their other locations. I'm not exaggerating. There's only three tables.
