    Nawabi Chicken Korma Butter Naan
    Kate P.

This is a beautiful restaurant that disappointed quite a bit with respect to service and food. We went for dinner and were seated after a short wait. We waited quite a while for our food to arrive and I was surprised that one entree and our naan came out, but the second entree and our rice did not appear. We waited for several minutes before flagging someone down and eventually they brought out our rice and missing entree. I was surprised that the chicken biryani had very little meat in it. My chicken korma had great flavor but the food was exceedingly spicy, even though we'd asked for it mild (which is not an issue for us at other Indian restaurants we frequent). Nobody came back around to see how our meal was or ask how we were doing, so we had to flag someone else down to ask for another bottle of water and a lassi to cut the heat. I would try other restaurants before returning here again.

They have lot of Hyderabad delicacy's like Karahi chicken, chicken Mandi , pink tea etc The food has a Mulgi touch and is rich. Location is great and has ample of parking. Ambiance of Resturant is nice. They have outdoor seating too. Service and food is good.

We tried this restaurant last evening with friends for dinner. Reservation was easy to get and we sat on the patio - fully covered to enjoy the spring evening temps. First off, food is decent. I didn't care for the 555 chicken appetizer - the texture of the coating was gummy but the flavor was okay. All the entrees were good - we ordered tangdi kabab (4 leg pieces), mutton karahi, mutton biryani and dal fry. Everything was well seasoned and not too spicy. Tandoor roti was better than naan. We also ordered a keema naan, it was too oily for my preference. Shani Tukda was perfect with the Rabdi being a highlight. Service was off and on. It took a bit of time for the order to be taken and we had to ask for plates and cutlery but otherwise attentive. We also had to ask for complimentary rice that came with a dish. Since we went with friends, I forgot to take pics or food as soon as it arrived. Definitely a decent place to enjoy this cuisine if you are in the area.

Fancy Indian restaurant located in Alpharetta! The interior looks stunning, as if it could be a restaurant in midtown or buckhead. Service is good! Food comes out in a timely matter. Food tastes fresh and comes out warm. The food is a little bit on the salty side, but that didn't matter to me because it still made the food taste good. If they could just work on their salt measurements a little bit I'm sure a lot more people will enjoy it. Overall - I will be returning. Food and ambiance is good, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. After 7pm it tends to fill up quick!

Summer is going to be simmering and Khan's kitchen is just in time to introduce their chaat station and chai to beat this summer heat on their covered patio - Tuesday through Fridays early evenings 5:30-7:30 pm . The gol gappas ,served with the tangy tamarind chutney and the chat pata pani ... hit just thr right spot This menu also includes the samosa chaat , dahi batata puri , sev puri , dahi puri and the dahi bhallas - which I must say have a nearly perfect texture .. If you are a fan of Indian curries and butter chicken, do give the Indian chaats a shot !!promise you will be wowed !!!

This was our first experience at Khan's Kitchen and I'm sure it won't be our last. We had a reservation for 630 on a Friday evening. Alpharetta is about an hours drive for us but my husband loves Indian food so I wanted to surprise him with a really good Indian dinner. We were a party of 13 and Khan's was more than accommodating. We arrived about 15 mins early, with a partial party but we were greeted and seated right away by Jenny. They have indoor and outdoor seating and outside is covered. They had ample room to accommodate our party of 13. Which we appreciated a great deal. Jenny asked if we'd like regular or bottled water. Jenny was knowledgeable and gave us some great recommendations on the menu. We ordered a few appetizers (pakora, orange chicken fish pakora, fried okra). We also had the chicken karahi, lamb chops, fried rice, butter chicken, and a couple of the fusion dishes. Everything was very tasty and the service was very good. I would definitely recommend.

We've been to a lot of funny places, but this one takes the cake. FOOD: The biggest qualm is that the tandoori menu is set up as a quasi-appetizer. It was more filling for sure. It was a bit surprising that while the food was cooked and authentic, there was something missing that we couldn't quite put our finger on. It's almost as if it missed just a tad more salt, spice, and flavor. DRINKS: There are quite a few [non-alcoholic] options from mint masala tea to mango lassi. None are particularly memorable, though they are certainly good. To tack on... the dessert menu has enough options. J don't recommend the creme brûlée as surely there are better options - it does have the sugar you can crack at the top, but it is served cold/room temperature. AMBIANCE: The outside area is nice with the green walls! The inside is a bit generic, as if more decor thought was put into the outside than the inside. The choice of chairs was nice, though. The bathroom had a clean toilet and was functional, but it needed a deep cleaning for sure, especially on the corners of the floor. SERVICE: Saving the best for last... everyone was super nice and accommodating. They have the sincerest of intentions. It's clear that the staff are trained, though in a school-like way; that is to say, they've learned how to provide service and perhaps obsess over following those steps. If you care to join the journey we experienced... 1) From the moment we asked to sit outside, three people continuously worked to turn on the heat lamp. The clicking sound was quite loud, but they insisted on continuing to try two lamps even when I assured them that I was okay without the heat. 2) When it came to the menu, our server definitely was familiar with the foods. She didn't realize we were ordering a tandoori dish, so she told us it would come with rice, so that was a bit odd. She did have positivity about all the menu options. 3) When it came to dessert, our server tried to convince me that there are cheat days for being gluten free... I suppose this is from being unfamiliar with gluten sensitivity. 4) Our server accidentally used our card on the wrong table's meal while using her handheld card reader. It was sweet of her to over-apologize, though it seemed unnecessary to continue to say sorry for the rest of our interactions. We insisted on covering the other bill as an act of kindness, and it became almost uncomfortable for her to say we didn't need to (even though we were explicitly okay with it). Over apologetic is the best way to explain her.

The food at this restaurant transported me back to my childhood growing up in Hyderabad (not to be corny but it's true). I'm so confused by the bad reviews -- they most definitely have to be fake. Anyway this is a must try for Hyderabadi cuisine. We got the chicken biryani, haryali chicken, pepper chicken, achari chicken, roomali roti, shahi tukda, pink chai, and mango lassi. Every dish was a hit The only bad thing about this place is how far away it is from me. Lastly, service and ambiance are amazing! The servers were so kind and patient. They checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 recommend, we will be back (OFTEN).

Disgusted, Disappointed, and Repulsed with this restaurant! At first glance the ambiance isn't horrible and the seating is nice. However, when the food came I opened my utensils and they were so dirty but I let it go and used a new pair. BUT then I started looking around and omgggg. The water glasses were dirty, Underneath my table was food and crumbs, rest of the floors were also dirty, the glass door was filthy, spider webs in the corner of the wall and worst of all was the bathroom A "nice" restaurants bathroom should never look like that! Who is eating here? Is it always like this? If this is what we can see imagine what we can't and how disgusting that kitchen must be.... I couldn't eat or stomach the rest of my food. I will say the waiter was very nice and the service did not suck but the dirtiness of the restaurant was killer.

Went to khans kitchen for my moms birthday, Overall I enjoyed the food we had couple of items. The service was pretty good. I liked how entire staff was engaging and pleasant. I think I like the ambiance the best , I like the small details throughout the restaurant , the vibe pretty good. For Food we had chicken 555 if you are from Hyderabad like me you would like it - My rating is : 6/ 10 Chicken haryaali was probably my fav, it was juicy and spicy. My rating is 8.5/10 Rumali roti tradionally in India is full of butter which was not the case here but I found out that Pakistani Ulta tawa roti doesn't have butter at all so I get that. 8/10 for sure if it had butter damn 10 for sure. Mutton koyla karahi wasn't my fav since its Pakistani style it was a little sweet for me because of the tomato gravy . My family liked it but not my favorite I would rate 6/10 Mutton biryani pretty good flavor, but it had a strong taste of garam masala throughout with every bite. My rating would be 6.5/10 I have had better biryani. Overall we would be back to try some more items on the menu!

Run. Don't walk to this new gem on Windward Parkway. Just opened 3 weeks ago and I just know this place will soon become the super star of this little food corner in Alpharetta. I wish I had snapped pics of the interior because it is gorgeous. I love the colors and all the interesting light fixtures - especially the ones on the tables. Can you sit outside? Yes. Gorgeous little covered patio that will fit the bill. But let's talk about the food. Our picks included samosas, chicken tikka, lamb kebabs with extra rice and the garlic naan. The samosas are served with this gorgeous green sauce that is just divine. On their own, the samosas have a little kick but nothing too intense. The chicken tikka was the star on our table. The flavor bomb is stuck in my head and I want more of it. Now please! The kebabs are fresh and super tasty. I love how they are served with some greens, onions, and other veggies. We opted for extra rice - but don't let me forget to tell you about the garlic naan. It's so good! Order 2! The service is fantastic. Such lovely people to chat with and they will answer any questions you have about the menu. I can't wait to go back!

New Indian spot in Alpharetta! I enjoyed my butter chicken. I think it's definitely one of the better curry I've tried in Georgia. The interior of the restaurant is nice and modern looking. Cozy atmosphere. Service was good and the food was prepared well. It's not the cheapest at ~$20 but I will come back and try other dishes for sure.

Let's start of with how beautifully embellished the restaurant is. It's a refined fusion of modern elegance & old-world Persian heritage, that celebrates Persian hospitality & culture. Once seated you're gifted a complimentary starter Sabzi Plate that includes fresh herbs, feta cheese, walnuts, Castelvetrano olives, crunchy radish, and premium walnuts. It also comes with side of freshly baked Persian flatbread. We ordered a plethora of dishes. Our favorite plates were the hummus [we paired with the mushroom add on], lamb chops, and the Adas Polo rice. Trust me get the Adas Polo rice, it absolutely mouthwatering. I understand there may have just been a rush, but in a customer-facing job it's not pleasant to make customers feel like an inconvenience for coming in. We were seated outside pretty quickly, but because it was very hot and we were directly in the sun, we asked if it would be possible to move to another table. When we asked our waiter, he told us to go ask the hostess ourselves. I've never had a waiter respond that way before. I expected him to check for us and let us know if moving was possible. We ended up asking the hostess directly, and to her credit, she did move us to another table. However, the overall attitude from the staff still felt cold and unwelcoming. We were really excited to try the food, but ultimately decided not to stay because we didn't feel comfortable spending money somewhere we weren't being treated as paying customers.

The hummus came topped with fried chickpeas, which was such a nice addition-- I'd never had them prepared that way before, and the crunch added great texture. The fries had a nice cut and flavor, but they weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. I'd order the hummus again, though probably not the fries. Once we finished our appetizers, we were escorted to our table, which ended up being a pretty tight fit. We were seated at a two-person table between two larger groups of four, so it felt a bit cramped. Honestly, had we known the seating situation beforehand, we would've dined at the bar since it felt much more comfortable for dining and conversation. By that point, we were slightly full from the appetizers, so we decided to share just the Hanger Steak and the Polo Sefid. The steak smelled incredible and tasted just as good-- definitely a great choice! As for the rice, I may have gone in with high expectations after seeing so many pictures of it on social media, but for me, it was just decent. My boyfriend and I weren't huge fans of it since the grains kept getting stuck in our teeth. The service throughout the night was excellent. Everyone we interacted with was warm and welcoming. Our server, Lance, was attentive and helpful with recommendations, refills, and checking in on us. I also loved the aesthetic of the restaurant. From walking through the doors and sitting down, everything was pretty. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend checking out Delbar!

I think their gig is rather than give you a real martini level pour they dilute you with so much melted Ice that you think you're getting a full pour martini, when, in fact, what you're getting is half gin and half melted ice. And believe ME, you are charged as though it was a real martini. The place was pretty busy, so a lot of people must not have a clue... or just like busy places. If everybody says, this is such a great place, I guess it's gotta be. Unfortunately, that's just Atlanta-if it's popular everyone just assumes it's good or pretends it is. I don't do well with pretend. Next after being seated at the table, i tried to order wine least expensive wines (so overpriced)-they were out of all of the lower-end overpriced wines I tried to order. It just bugs me to overpay so much for bottles of table wine. They're barely twenty dollars charging, 60-80 for them. But of course, ten minutes after I ordered the wine, this happened twice, the waiter told me they were out of the ones i was trying to order ( everyone must have had the same idea). Oh well. Right before the table was served the main course, the waiter and manager came to tell me that they had run out of the dish I ordered. I ended up replacing it with their duck dish that I had never heard of before but what the hell I'll try it (maybe I deserve it, because I remember my father always told me you never ordered duck in a strange restaurant you don't know) Everyone else at the table of 8 were served their meals ten minutes before my plate arrived. i'm like, please go ahead and start without me. Then, the duck arrives. I mean, if you're such a Rumi's, fan, try the duck and tell me what you think. First of all, it was lukewarm for something that apparently had just been made. The lukewarm duck comes 'in" this purple sauce, I mean, it wasn't even swimming in the purple sauce-It was submerged in the purple sauce. The waiter, of course, later brought me the wrong type of rice than the one i oredered..That's okay they brought me a new one right away. I was really starving at the time, but if I hadn't been, I don't think I would have eaten any of the duck. Being submerged in a kind of a sickening, putple sweet sauce it just wasn't appetizing at all. Challenge: if you're a big Rumi's fan, go ahead and please try the duck, but you have to try it like I did- lukewarm temptation. Then tell me if you remain an unconditionalRumi's fan. The bread is delicious though. To their credit when I tried to order 2 glasses of red wine after my meal was served, they did give us the vin de table for free. I won't be coming back here anytime soon.

There's no formal dress code, so some tables were fully dressed in fancy outfits celebrating birthdays. While other tables were in sweatshirts and jeans. So just wear whatever you want. The small appetizer plate they bring out is good, I ate the flat bread with a hummus I ordered. The hummus is solid but I'd probably try a different dip the next time. I ordered the Salmon kebab plate. I was asked how I wanted my salmon cooked, and I said well-done. But how they cooked it was amazing! The salmon was fully cooked but still flaky and tender, and juicy. I found it flavorful enough, but there is a salt and pepper grinder on the table if you need it. It comes with a roasted tomato and a huge mound of saffron rice. I liked the rice a lot but it is a bit plain. If you want a more flavorful or interesting rice, you can add a different rice for $4. Those extra charge ones come with a lot more toppings like different nuts, herbs, or dried fruits. I'd like to try more different dishes next time, but what I was very satisfied by what I ordered. The restaurant is very dimly lit. The server was very nice and attentive. It's in a strip mall area so parking isn't hard to find.

We visited around 3 PM on a Friday for a late lunch and were seated quickly. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see that they have plenty of options on the menu. We started with the yogurt dip with cucumber and the baba ghanoush, both of which were very tasty. For my main dish, I ordered the veggie kebabs, which come with saffron rice and grilled pineapple--my favorite part. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. They also offer lunch specials from 11 AM to 3 PM on certain weekdays, and we happened to arrive just in time to take advantage of that, which was a nice bonus. Parking was easy as well. I would definitely come back!

Such a great lunch choice!…read more While working in Halcyon, my stomach was beyond ready for lunch so I happily listened to it. With a number of options available in the food court, it was such a hard choice! After my teammate brought back her pita platter from Pita Mediterranean, it kinda put a bug in my ear of which spot to go for without me even realizing. So I went! I always love a refreshing Mediterranean meal and loved the variety of options available here. From salads, pitas, platters and more, I was struggling to figure out which to go with. I eventually decided on a traditional gyro with a Greek salad side and a plain lemonade. I placed my order at the self-order station after asking the sweet young lady behind the counter a billion questions, which she patiently answered. After placing my order, my food was fresh and ready in about 10 minutes or less. I took my food back to a table to dig in and was in for a real treat. The lemonade was delicious - not incredibly sweet and the perfect amount of tartness. Perfect. My gyro was huge! I decided to dive into my salad first which came with a packet of Greek dressing. I almost wished that I had ordered a bigger salad because this one was so good. The lettuce was topped with cucumbers, red onion, kalamata olives and feta cheese. It didn't stand a chance with me. I found that I was not starving as much after eating that salad and didn't end up eating my gyro until I got home and it was just as good even after it wasn't super hot. I ordered it spicy and wish it had even more of a kick, but it was delicious. It was well-portioned and so flavorful, I wish it had a bit more onions and lettuce, but by the way I inhaled it, you would have never known that anything at all was missing lol. Definitely going to be trying them out again in ITP!

We decided on the Market Hall and Mediterranean food sounded yummy. We were not disappointed!! My husband and I shared the Big Fat Greek Gyro with roasted veggies which were sliced zucchini and carrots. Since we were sharing, it was suggested we put it on Lavash instead of the pita. Otherwise, cutting the pita in half would be difficult to eat and cut. The Lavash worked out perfectly and was light and delicious. The filling was scrumptious as we chose chicken. The flavor of the chicken was excellent, not spicy. I couldn't keep saying how delicious it was. The roasted veggies were grilled without using much oil, seasoned spot on with maybe paprika. Loved how tender they were without being squishy. And how they were cut, great!! I want to go back and try more items on their menu. The cashier gals were very kind and helpful. Well done. Lots of free parking in the garage or across the street. And the Market Hall has lots of other food choices and many tables to enjoy your food choice. Also there is outside seating. If that is a choice and it's a weekend or weekend night, plan on the outside area being very busy with families and lots of kids playing.
