I was trying to find another Indian restaurant nearby since my go-to place at Naan N'Curry seems to go down (I think they changed owners/chefs). Tried Zouq during their buffet lunch hours on the weekday. It was beautiful inside and everyone there were very friendly. You pick your own table, grab your own foods and drinks and pay afterwards. There were a good variety of foods in which they refill constantly and making sure that the surrounding bars were cleaned along the way. My only thing is that I wish they also have some non-spicy dishes. My 6 y.o. child was not able to eat anything there except. They were nice enough to not charge her because of that.

I truly enjoyed the buffet experience! It had a large variety of different options. All delicious! They also did a great job of maintaining the area clean. The staff was super nice and helpful. I would recommend and will return again.

We went to Zouq on a quiet Monday evening for dinner and were the only ones there. The ambiance is unassuming and simple - order at the counter, plastic plates and utensils, and open seating. Even though we were the only ones there, we did have to wait a bit for our food. The wait is beyond worth it. We experienced fantastic flavors, huge portions, and incredibly fresh food overall. We got the chicken korma (decently spicy), the kadhi pakora curry, garlic naan, and rice. We also got a mango lassi (amazing). In terms of value, I can't readily think of a place that has more. There was so much food that we ended up eating leftovers for two more days. We will absolutely be back for the buffet, and if you're in the area, this is a can't-miss spot.

Went to is Pakistani restaurant in Duluth, went there for a Ramadan buffet, food was very delicious especially the mutton biryani,I highly recommend it. The spice levels were not to overpowering. The service was good and kept refilling, the ambiance was a bit dated, bit clean.

If you turn into this plaza from Sweetwater Road, you will encounter a horde of speed bumps. Be wary if you think that will be a problem for particularly low vehicles or sensitive individuals. Otherwise, the parking is free and plentiful in front of the restaurant. This review is for the weekday lunch buffet between 11:30 AM and 3:00 PM on Tuesdays through Friday. Although the restaurant opens at 11:30 AM, the buffet may take additional time to finish preparing as it was around 11:50 AM when it was ready, which is something to keep in mind if you're short on time... though I imagine that shouldn't be a problem for those indulging in a buffet, haha! Upon entering Zouq, I believe you can immediately start serving yourself food and sit down at any open table if you're here for the lunch buffet. If you're here for lunch a la carte ordering, you will have to remain at the host station and request the menu for that. There is a beverage shelf next to the host station that is an additional fee for any of the canned and bottled drinks. Water and hot tea are provided in the dining area on a table with salt, pepper, and what looks like coffee or tea enhancements. The no-frills lunch buffet is completely self-serve with styrofoam plates, styrofoam cups, and plastic utensils. You are expected to toss your disposables as well. The variety of dishes is wonderful because so many different flavors are present: creamy and savory (chicken tikka masala), creamy and mild (kadi pakora), buttery (naan), citrusy and spicy (chicken tikka leg), sour (beef qeema), sweet (soji halwa). The majority of their curries and meat dishes are flavorful, aromatic, and spicy. I would be cautious if you have a low spice tolerance. There's also a salad bar. My plates were mostly enjoyed by dipping spring rolls and naan into whatever curry fancied my plate and chomping on any of their chicken dishes. There's actually so much more going on with how delicious the food is at Zouq, but I am not so knowledgeable about Pakistani and Indian food and their seasoning blends to be able to describe much. When the feast ends, you go to the host station to pay. There is no tip for the buffet, and the owner/host does not prompt you for one. Any additional beverages you grabbed will be charged with your buffet price. The base price of the buffet is $10.99 as of this review, which I would consider an amazing bargain! Additionally, the lunch buffet may not be available during the holy month of Ramadan, so I would recommend looking that up or calling ahead if your sole intention is the lunch buffet. The ambience is casual. There are ornate chairs and decorations in the dining room, which are beautiful. The ventilation and/or breeze is fairly strong inside the dining area when turned on, so there's a chance a person could become cold from it or their tableware could blow off if empty.

Plenty of room

This place has not been open that long. It is in the location of the old Pitted Date restaurant. You turn off Pleasant Hill on Sweetwater Rd. Take the second right which is quite soon. You will see a building with no signs at all. DONT stop there, veer father back to the right and you will see the old Pitted Date signs on the side of the building and this restaurant is inside. $10.99 is a really good price now that things have gone up everywhee. There are 14 food bins in the buffet lineup. If your a VEG be forwarned there is often beef on the buffet. It is Beef Haleem. If you know Pakistani food you know it. If you dont cheeck out youtubes and watch them make it. This is something really rare to find on a $19.99 buffet. You will probably pay over twice that elsewhere if you can even find it. (you can but often only certain days) and expect to pay a lot. They put out icewater and coffee with cream already added and its included in the buffet. If you want any other drinks you can get one off the wall and pay for it. There seems to be a LOT of room here. So just GO anytime there is the buffet, Mon-Thurs 11a-300p. Its not a fancy place so go as you are.

Amazing deal for lunch buffet for $10.99! Great variety of Pakistani food cuisine, including daal curries, tandoori chicken, spicy vegetables, naan, meat, and rice dishes!

For the best Chana masala and Daal curry in town you must visit Zouq Pakistani restaurant. The service is stellar and best of all free chai! They have great atmosphere and delightful buffet for only $11 per person is such a great deal! We will definitely be coming back on regular basis for both lunch and dinner!

Dinning area

NOTE: If your use to American style chicken tikka masala. This is not that THIS IS authentic, so be aware it is still good but it's not like how you usually would think of tikka masala. the chicken 65 is 10/10 so much flavor, so Kristy the green sauce they give is so amazing Samosas 10/10 by far are one of the best samosas. I've tried at a restaurant and are priced way perfectly at $2.99 for 2 , Chicken biryani: 9/10 it was good The service was nice there wasn't much service you just order in the beginning take a seat and they bring you water and plates and will check on you once in a while but besides that you're all set which I like as a antisocial person I don't like many people coming up to me all the time so it's perfect It's like regular Indian restaurant service. If you've been to Indian restaurant the people are nice though. The restaurant is very clean with these cool seats as well as this painting mural. Very nice ambience. Will be back again. I went during the weekday for dinner. They have a buffet 11am-3pm Tuesday - Friday I believe (not sure so call to ask about buffet)

Tandoor chicken, Chicken Biryani

Food was very flavorful and spiced just right. Really enjoyed the tandoori chicken. The naan is perfectly crispy but holds up well to putting food on it. Would definitely recommend this place even though at the buffet you use styrofoam plates and plastic ware. Inside is very spacious and nice painting scenery.

Daal and mixed veggies were decent. Paya had barely any meat just bones. Chai was very milky and kheer was below average, no nuts, no flavoring, just a pudding texture of rice, sugar and milk. For 18 dollars, I expected better dessert, and more than just a bland lettuce and watery chutney. Naan was not buttered either. Now let's talk decor, it is a huge space. They want to be the place for indo-pak community events etc but the tables were bare and chipping, , cafeteria style napkin dispensers, plastic cutlery, foam cups and cheap looking plates. Decor was minimal with chairs and couches just lined up against the wall and trash/dirty dinner dish trolley just behind us. The buffet area corner had a storage are cluttered with disposable plates/napkins etc. i expected a better space that looked inviting. Service was good with used buffet plates being cleared fast. There are plenty of parking, but you are driving from the east side there is no left-hand turn into the parking structure. --Ambience-- Think of a California or old school 80s burger joint updated with new colors. Great vibe does not feel cheap or expensive. The only negative is In the hallway going to the back, they had cases of drinks all over the hallway, which I assume leads to the bathroom. --Service/Staff-- I must give a shout out to Daniel for helping me with the check in and recommendations on the sauces for the platter. I spoke to Daniel over the phone to call in a pick-up, but since the food is made fresh in front of you there was not necessary to call in ahead. --Food/Products-- I ordered two platters consisting of lamb and Kofta kabob over rice and a side order of falafel. My favorite was still my go to which is the lamb and rice. The mixture of the hummus, salad and lamb reminded me of a gyro on plate. I guess that is why they call it platter. Tip, I HIGHLY recommend the white sauce. I ordered it on the sauce, because I don't like my food soggy when I go to eat it. The green sauce is also good, I think it was the Green Chili Chutney. I don't recommend the red hot, which I believe is the hot sauce, because it overpowers the flavor of the lamb and kofta --Capacity-- Plenty of space and I came in on a Monday at 6pmish and there is only one person ahead of me. --Overall-- If you love gyro and a piece of New York, this is the place to go. I will be back to try their Chicken gyro and lamb gyros. I am eye-balling their white sauce in a bottle.

I thought the flavor was nice, the onions added a nice sharpness to it. I would say get more sauce than you think you need bc when I got to the bottom, I felt like it was a bit dry. In my opinion, better than Pita Corner but Baba's is still my top. Solid 4 stars though!
