I gave my honest opinion: Positive: -Beautiful interior with a lot of space for diners -Delicious foods with big proportions -Plenty of parking in a lit plaza Negative: -VERY slow service -Not greeted -No smile -Not very friendly Restaurant opens at 11:30 AM. I got there at 1 PM with my Aunt and there was nobody there. I went to the other side of the restaurant lingering and wondering if we should just go find our seat or stand there. There was another couple that was seated already. A server finally came out to deliver foods, don't even acknowledge us, and after putting her foods down, walked away. I had to stop her and asked if we seat ourselves. No hello, welcome, or anything. She didn't smile and only gestured something and walked away. We were confused and walked back to the other side where a man was at the register finally. We asked him the same thing and he went to go get the server lady. She finally took us to our booth. Again, didn't ask us if it's our first time, if we had any questions, nothing. The didn't let the lack of enthusiasm deter my mood because I am there to try out the foods. It took forever for the server to come back to get our order. Foods did arrived in a reasonable amount of time, big proportions, and everything tasted as good as it looks. Took us 2 hours from beginning to end dining there even though there were only 3 couples eating there, including us, during lunch on a Wednesday. That's how slow service was. I can't even imagine how it'll be during a big crowd on weekend nights. The prices were on the same level as Delbar and Rumi's. However, the other restaurants has top notch service. The service here acts as if we're doing them a favor by paying them for the foods. I will probably not come here again even though it's close to my area. If it still stands by next year, I will probably give them another chance.

Decor and seating are minimalistic, but you're less here for the experience than you are for a really good and affordable plate of food. I ordered the chicken curry with parathas. The parathas were fresh, hot and crispy and the curry was wonderfully aromatic and spicy (if you cannot handle spice, I would unfortunately not recommend this joint as the meals do assume you can handle a certain level of spice). Also recommend grabbing a cup of chai with a pack of burfi, just really really good. Would definitely come back here for a no-frills, authentic Indian meal.

I only discovered it after paying the bill and requested for a paper receipt, and the waiter never mentioned it. When I questioned the charge, Manager Dinesh said it was the owner's policy and argued that "all restaurants do the same." That response was disappointing and came across as dismissive rather than addressing the concern. It's not the 3% itself that bothered me--it's the lack of transparency. If this is part of the cost of doing business, it should be reflected in the menu prices or clearly disclosed before customers order, not added as an unexpected fee at the end.
