Every bad review here is about customer service. And to that I agree, they're kinda not mean but just not 'nice'. But in my experience - a place with rude staff that's still open.... they've got good food, and that I can vouch for. It's a hole in the wall low down spot. It can be cleaner too. BUT the food? The food is some great Indian if that's what you're looking for. The Garlic Naan is huge - and comes out fresh. The curries are all delicious - we've had mutton, chicken, and beef of a few styles. They've got all types of random daily specials from $6.99 to $8.99 and so much of it. The food is great. I haven't made it to the weekend brunch buffet yet but it's still on the list for plans. I ate at Asma's a year ago at Ramadan time. For iftari we ordered a la carte and it was very decent but nothing stood out at that time since when your fasting then eating, you don't concentrate that much on the food- you just want to eat. So now I went there today with my friend to try their brunch buffet. They do brunch buffet on the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. Most desi places only do nashta (desi style breakfast) only on Sundays. But this restaurant does it both days. I loved that they had so many choices in their buffet. Everything we tried was amazing. My friend really wanted a traditional style brunch and this place did not disappoint. They open at 12 pm and we got there 12:30, the place was busy and people were enjoying the food. I tried a bunch of different things but the star of the show in my opinion was the haleem. Haleem in most restaurants is not very flavorful. Here it was nicely prepared plus you can add more pepper /ginger etc on the side. The naan were good. I'm not a fan of puri but puri was not oily and that's a good thing. I liked the grilled tandoori chicken alot as well. In veggie dishes they had potatoes dish as well chickpea dish. They also had many curry options. I truly enjoy this experience of Asmas. My friends loved the restaurant as well. The restaurant does have a la carte. Also in weekdays they have different specials. Overall great experience and happy we got happy. read more

We called to let them know in case they gave us someone else's order but the lady said that they only make beef biryani on Friday and said that she forgot to mention that when taking our order. We arrived to ATL @ 10pm on 12/31 and thoroughly enjoyed Asma's during the new year. It was so good, we ordered it again tonight and yes, still damn good. The BBQ mix plate is a go-to. The nihari is always on point, the daleem was great and the chicken korma reminded me of chicken kormas at weddings-- aroma and taste, delicious. I declare this as my favorite Indian restaurant. I frequent this place because it's so close to my job. I'm so lucky. I love the chicken 65 and chicken tikki masala. Been meaning to try Asma's for quite some time! We were in the area and with so many Desi options it was hard to decide which one to try. Since we heard Asma's cuisine was the closest to "home cooking" we decided to give it a try. We ordered the beef chapli, tandoori chicken, chicken seekh kabob, chaat and naan. The chaat was so tasty! You could tell all of the ingredients were fresh and not even any of the chutneys came out of a bottle. You could taste the fresh yogurt and tamarind. The chicken seekh kabob was good, nice and tender, not too spicy! The beef chapli was nice and spicy! A bit too spicy for my wife so I ended up eating some of her portion. It was really good to put it in the naan with some of the mint chutney to make a sandwich. I am a hard core connoisseur of tandoori chicken so I have high standards for such. I found this tandoori chicken to be average. It wasn't very flavorful and the actual quality of the chicken was subpar. This is the main reason I gave four stars instead of five. Overall I'd definitely return to Asma's, their daily specials are very reasonably priced and the portions are more than adequate. Not the easiest place to locate but we found it tucked in a corner of a shopping center. When we first walked in, the place did not seem too impressive. It was clean and large but nothing else. Attendant up front seemed very serious at first and being we had a million and one questions, we were not the most pleasing either. In the end though, he was very very helpful and nice. Environment is not that busy has soft Indian music playing in the background as well as cricket on the TV. For the service you help yourself you grab your cup of water as well as forks and plates they bring the food to you though not much talking to do not like a regular restaurant but very nice for antisocial people. Our traditional favorites are saag paneer (cheese and spinach), tikki masala paneer (cheese in curry sauce), garlic naan (garlic flat bread), and mutton korma (goat curry). Make sure you order some of their Zeera rice (seasoned rice). Their dishes don't come with rice. The unique menu item that we fell in love with was the Chicken 65. You serve yourself using Styrofoam plates and cups and plastic ware. The lunch buffet is $6.99. They offered a nice selection of chicken, beef, and veggies. Of course there was also Naan. We had beef seekh kebab, rice, 2 naan, cheese with spinach, an okra dish and chicken 65. All of this for $15!! Yay! The food was pretty good, not the I've ever had, but good. The Chicken 65 was crunchy yet really juicy. The kebab was a little dry. The rice and naan were just rice and bread. Nothing to hey or nay about. The vege dishes had a little kick (not overpoweringly hot). The restaurant is family owned and run. I always feel good going into mom and pop places. They all asked how we liked the food, were very courteous and smiley :) I would go back. I liked the place. Maybe next time I will try the buffet. It was enough food for four. We did good!! For my wedding reception, Asma's Cuisine was our caterer and I got the most AMAZING comments from my guests about how good it was and the variety of food since they did Pakistani and Chinese food. The presentation was gorgeous and the food being absolutely delicious was an added bonus! I got to eat some of it (it's busy being a bride) and it was SO good that my husband kept wanting to go back to our table instead of taking pictures because he wanted to keep eating. Their shrimp dynamite, biryani, butter chicken, goat korma, and peppersteak were some of my favorite dishes! Their Chinese food station was so delicious and was very convenient for our American guests who weren't as familiar with Pakistani food. Everything was perfect/on time so I HIGHLY recommend them. They really put so much thought and effort into the menu given them knowing it would be a mixed crowd and were so easy to work with regarding everything. I came here with my little sister for dinner. The place isn't fancy and there wasn't much people as well. I think most people order to go. If you dine in, don't expect normal plates, spoon or forks. Everything will be plastic so it's easier to through away beside the food that come out with it. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was ok. The dish was a little on the salty side which I wish it wasn't so I can enjoy the dish more. The chicken looked like it was pre-grilled before they cook it in the dish. I wish the chicken wasn't because it was already salted. There was a pretty good amount of chicken in the dish. Our second order was the Beef something. I forgot what it was called but it was in a gravy like. Again this dish was really salty but still good! The only problem about this dish is that the only give you two big pieces of Beef. I wish they cut the beef up so I can enjoy it more rather than picking up the Beef and ripped it up to eat it when the rice. There was a good amount of spice in the dish which was really good! Not to much! The naan bread was a little burnet on the bottom. I love how crepes it was but it was a little too burnet to enjoy it. Some people might enjoy that but i like my not to burnet.
