I was almost heartbroken when I couldn't find this restaurant next to café 967. When you Google…read morethis place, it still shows that it's at that location, but I didn't know it moved. It's behind the Shell gas station on Roswell Road across from the PNC plaza. Honestly I need Google to update where this location is located. Looks might be deceiving while the restaurant has downgraded in size and appearance. It is still one of my favorite Pakistani restaurants. The meat here is Halal and it has so much flavor. The restaurant is actually a lot smaller. It's more of a stall now in my opinion there's only three tables. The menu has also significantly decreased in size, but if you're looking for the full size restaurant, they still have one I believe in Gwinnett. It's just too far for me to drive to. This one is about 40 minutes from my house so it's doable. While the restaurant might not look the cleanest, there's no AC, and the staff is hidden in the kitchen. The food really makes up for it. You do have to walk up to the ordering window because they will not come to your table unless they bring your food. I got two orders of the Tandoori chicken kebabs. It was everything my taste buds needed. It does take time to cook so I had to wait about almost 20 to 30 minutes. I wish they had cold drinks because my sprite was room temperature. This is definitely more of a to go restaurant. I would not come in a group of more than four people. when I tell you this place is a lot smaller than their other locations. I'm not exaggerating. There's only three tables.

Love a good halal chicken sandwich…read more My friend and I had Karachi Broast delivered through Uber Eats for dinner. Although it took forever and arrived later than expected, the food was still tasty. This was my first time, so my friend ordered her favorites: Tandoori Chicken Salad, Tandoori Chicken Alfredo, Zinger Burger. I enjoyed the Zinger Burger, even though it did feel a little on the sweeter side. The tandoori chicken on both the salad and pasta had a nice kick to it! The creaminess of the pasta definitely helped ! I would like to try the salad with dressing next time and hope to visit this location soon!

Shawarma, gyros, vegetarian options. Like nothing else I've ever eaten. I've here for 3 iterations and not a lot changes with new names/owners. The staff lack self esteem. If you come for brunch, focus on the karahi and grill items. The halwa puri lacked flavor. The bihari kebab was very good. Cheese balls were very disappointing. Restaurant fills up for weekend brunch within an hour of opening, so I recommend making a reservation.

Came in around 3 pm on a Wednesday with my father, and we were the only patrons in the restaurant…read more The floors were sticky, debris scattered around, and the tables themselves were coated with leftover food from previous guests. Even the plates set on the table were sticky and visibly dirty. This level of neglect points directly to management's lack of basic cleanliness standards and oversight. When we asked our server to explain the difference between two karahis, he could not. This is not the server's fault--it is a failure of ownership and management for not providing proper training. A restaurant that prides itself on specialty dishes should ensure its staff can at least describe them. As for the food, the beef seekh kabab was genuinely delicious, the malai boti tender, and the kandhari naan fluffy. However, the charsi karahi--which they are apparently known for--was bland and flavorless, and the plain rice had an off-putting bleach-like aroma. These issues speak again to poor quality control. Service only worsened as the meal ended. The server sat at the bar while we waited, and after we asked for to-go boxes, he returned with them and promptly went back to sitting instead of offering the check. I had to ask for the bill myself, which came redundantly as both a printed copy and a payment device. The lack of attentiveness reflects poorly not just on the server but on management's failure to train or supervise their staff. For a bill of $73 (half order chicken karahi, goasht khor platter, naan, and rice), the experience was unacceptable. The atmosphere was lifeless--silent, dirty, and uncomfortable. The young server seemed miserable, which again highlights a systemic problem. This is not simply about one employee--it is about an establishment run without pride, care, or professional standards. The shame here lies with the owner and management for neglecting cleanliness, failing to properly train their team, and allowing the overall quality of the restaurant to decline. Unless the owners take immediate responsibility for cleanliness, staff training, and basic quality control, this restaurant will not be around much longer.

Daal and mixed veggies were decent. Paya had barely any meat just bones. Chai was very milky and kheer was below average, no nuts, no flavoring, just a pudding texture of rice, sugar and milk. For 18 dollars, I expected better dessert, and more than just a bland lettuce and watery chutney. Naan was not buttered either. Now let's talk decor, it is a huge space. They want to be the place for indo-pak community events etc but the tables were bare and chipping, , cafeteria style napkin dispensers, plastic cutlery, foam cups and cheap looking plates. Decor was minimal with chairs and couches just lined up against the wall and trash/dirty dinner dish trolley just behind us. The buffet area corner had a storage are cluttered with disposable plates/napkins etc. i expected a better space that looked inviting. Service was good with used buffet plates being cleared fast. We had to pay at the counter which was not a sign of a good classy dining experience either. Overall, food was decent, service was great, but ambience and overall experience was a big put off.

There are plenty of parking, but you are driving from the east side there is no left-hand turn into the parking structure. --Ambience-- Think of a California or old school 80s burger joint updated with new colors. Great vibe does not feel cheap or expensive. The only negative is In the hallway going to the back, they had cases of drinks all over the hallway, which I assume leads to the bathroom. --Service/Staff-- I must give a shout out to Daniel for helping me with the check in and recommendations on the sauces for the platter. I spoke to Daniel over the phone to call in a pick-up, but since the food is made fresh in front of you there was not necessary to call in ahead. --Food/Products-- I ordered two platters consisting of lamb and Kofta kabob over rice and a side order of falafel. My favorite was still my go to which is the lamb and rice. The mixture of the hummus, salad and lamb reminded me of a gyro on plate. I guess that is why they call it platter. Tip, I HIGHLY recommend the white sauce. I ordered it on the sauce, because I don't like my food soggy when I go to eat it. The green sauce is also good, I think it was the Green Chili Chutney. I don't recommend the red hot, which I believe is the hot sauce, because it overpowers the flavor of the lamb and kofta --Capacity-- Plenty of space and I came in on a Monday at 6pmish and there is only one person ahead of me. --Overall-- If you love gyro and a piece of New York, this is the place to go. I will be back to try their Chicken gyro and lamb gyros. I am eye-balling their white sauce in a bottle.

Shah's is very convenient. You can make your own platter through the line. They offer lamb (contains beef), chicken, fish, falafel, and kofta plates. I got the chicken over rice with white sauce and tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and hummus. They do give the hummus to you for no extra charge so that's nice. And they also offer chickpeas as a topping. I thought the flavor was nice, the onions added a nice sharpness to it. I would say get more sauce than you think you need bc when I got to the bottom, I felt like it was a bit dry. In my opinion, better than Pita Corner but Baba's is still my top. Solid 4 stars though!
