I loved the no-frills ambience that reminded me of canteen stalls in Chennai, the sweet uncle (co-owner) Mr. Ramachandran who took my order and the featherlike Appam served with flavorful veg curry. The restaurant is actually a lot smaller. It's more of a stall now in my opinion there's only three tables. This one is about 40 minutes from my house so it's doable. While the restaurant might not look the cleanest, there's no AC, and the staff is hidden in the kitchen. The food really makes up for it.
