I ordered for a Chicken Biryani and a Mutton Biryani which comes with yogurt sauce or raitha on side, perfect with biryani, as a dressing, or to cool off any dish. Both were incredible in taste and yummy. Also had a bowl of Chicken 65 snack which was really tasty and perfectly spiced. The concept of quick service paired with authentic Indian flavors is refreshing, and it is perfect for families and friends. They have great vegetarian and vegan options and the service was wonderful. The hostess Divya is very friendly and makes you feel right at ease. It likely won't be as good as a sit down and dine restaurant for some, but perfect for a quick grab and go. Parking is located inside or beneath the huge State Farm building facing Hammond Street. I am no expert in pricing but..tried to order something through doordash. A veg dish.. chana and rice is priced at 20 bucks. this price is just like Meta stock. Quantity is 1/4th the regular plate. I dropped by Sankranti to order three different Pulao Bowls for my friends and I. It was my first time ordering from here, and the food looked great. Unfortunately, all three bowls were pretty bland. Customer service was lacking, as well. I was surprised and appalled especially by the manager's action (I think she was the manager due to the way she spoke to others). The manager caught the employee - who was filling my bowls - accidentally add an additional spoonful of proteins into each of my bowls. Came by here for dinner the other day with my sister. ***ATMOSPHERE*** Very clean, quiet and nice inside! There is some seating but not tons. It wasn't crowded at all though! ***STAFF*** The staff was beyond friendly! She was so helpful and answered all of our questions. We even wanted some pita, which they didn't have but she recommended another bread that they had instead! And as we left she was asking how we enjoyed the meal and was just very above and beyond / genuinely nice! Definitely makes you want to come back after such a pleasant experience! ***FOOD*** Very good! I really enjoyed my rice and curry! We were excited to eat here. Unfortunately we showed up at the end of the day on a Saturday. I would not recommend this. The building it is located in was deserted. The inside of this restaurant is clean and there was nothing wrong with the cleanliness. The server could not advise us on how to order extra naan bread because it's not on the menu but she said she would give it to us. She didn't. Then we ordered Butter Chicken and Tikka Masala but the server gave us two orders of Tikka Masala. There was no extra naan, I paid for an order of two samosas and only got one and the naan we did get was tough and cold. The Tikka Masala was spicy and tasted good but my daughter specifically ordered the butter chicken because she doesn't do well with spice. To top it off we got it to go and trusted our order was correct. By the time we got home we discovered it was wrong. This place is in a building that has two our free parking but is so difficult to find I had to ask a security guard. The whole experience was not bad but was difficult. The employee helped me pick ingredients for my bowl since I don't eat a lot of Indian food. I chose rice and grilled veggies with the mango chicken, added carrots and cucumber, and tikka masala sauce on top. It was so good! And not spicy, which I appreciated. Large portion too. The only complaint i have is that I added on a side of naan and it was hard. I asked a friend if her naan was hard too and she said no, so perhaps mine was just stale. That was a bummer. Came here for lunch today. This place is kind of close to us, and we could walk here whenever the weather is nice. Sankranti opened up 3 weeks ago, according to the owner. Sankranti can be seen from Hammond Drive on the ground level of the State Farm building. Customers driving to Sankranti enter the underground retail parking garage from Hammond Dr, and then turn left after they've entered the parking garage, take a parking ticket at the gate and then park in the Retail parking section on the B3 level. They can take the stairs or elevator to the B2 (street) level and exit the parking garage/building, and then walk to Sankranti's entrance. The cold wind was blowing into our faces, and we could actually smell the odors of cooking spices coming from Sankranti way before we even got to the entrance, even with the door closed! Sankranti has delicious Indian fast food at very reasonable prices. The menu includes Kathi rolls, curry bowls, Tandoor kabobs and Pulao bowls. With these items, customers can select which ingredients they want in them from a list of choices, letting the employee behind the food counter what they want and watching the employee spoon the food into their bowls. The owner was very nice, and answered our questions about the food. Before we decided what we wanted, we were given an opportunity to sample the spicy chicken and the mango chicken. The spicy chicken was too spicy for me, and the mango chicken was too sweet for me. Fountain drinks available are Coke products. Other fruit based drinks are made fresh and are in a refrigerator behind the front counter. I ended up ordering a medium curry bowl, which came with the bowl, a side and 1 add-on. My bowl choice was the chicken tikka masala, my side was rice and my add-on was two pieces of Malai chicken kabob. R also ordered a medium curry bowl, and his choices were the chicken tikka masala, rice and spicy chicken. Our meals were good; they were very flavorful. I just wish the chicken tikka masala was a little spicier, though. The delicious Malai chicken kabob was a little on the dry side. The food portions were just right. Shout out to Kelvin! He was the one behind the counter who scooped up all of the food that went into the bowl, and we had a short discussion right before we left. He was pretty quick and efficient. The restaurant has indoor seating at round and square tables, and can handle a few small groups at the same time. There are also tall chairs that customers can sit on at the long counters against the window. This is a good place to eat at when you want to enjoy a little variety of good Indian cuisine without paying high prices. read more

I'm surprised that this was the best Indian food I've had in GA even though this is more of a to-go spot (there is indoor and outdoor seating available though). I'm not exaggerating... I've went to Indian sit-down restaurants in Atlanta and was not as satisfied as I am now. I do wish that there were more vegetarian, non-coconut options. My husband and I checked out this restaurant for the first time for lunch this week. This was our first time trying Indian food so we liked that they had the food out (chipotle style) so that we could see all the options. The owner Srikanya was very helpful and patient with us as we tried to figure out what we wanted to try. We tried the curry bowl with chicken tikka masala with rice and paratha bread which was really good. The sauce was nice and creamy and did not have a strong curry smell. Food was tasty and you could opt for a really mild to a moderately spicy version of the lunch based on your preference. We tried almost all the vegetarian options that were available and were happy with most of them. The chana masala was especially flavorful! The paratha was a little too chewy for our liking. So I ordered a palace salad off of Foodsby for lunch at work last week. I love Indian food and this place looked promising. I was disappointed though because of the lack of actual meat that was in my Chicken Tikka! The flavors were fine but I just had so little meat it turned me off so I have no plans to return here! It is such a pet peeve when restaurants want to be cheap or trifling or whatever you call it when they do this! Their food is not good and nor is it fresh. I got sick the same day. Their kathi rolls are not true "kathi rolls" - the wrap is supposed to be grilled, flaky/a little buttery and slightly crispy. The paneer was watery and flavorless - that's not how it's supposed to be. If you want authentic Indian food, this ain't it.
