Garlic naan, Peshwari Naan, Lamb Korma
Avery R.

Fantastic! The service was incredible! Bidut was so helpful in giving us recommendations and walking us through the menu. The food came out as it was prepared and made fresh, and you could tell the quality of ingredients elevated all the dishes. The flavors were perfect- light, aromatic, yet deep and rich. We will definitely be back to indulge more in Bangladeshi cuisine! (Only negative- they were short staffed so the wait was a little longer than anticipated but they offered us free dessert to make up for it)

Amazing food and service! Came here with a large party (~15 people) and they took excellent care of us! We had no idea what to order, as their menu is extensive and no one in our party is Bangladeshi, but our server ordered for us and did an excellent job. It was a risky choice, as he could've easily ordered a ton of food on our behalf and left us with a big bill, but he brought out a perfect amount of food, and the amount of leftovers we had was minimal. He brought out a mixture of appetizers, breads, and entrees. My personal favorites were the Peshwari Naan, Shrimp Madras, and Shingaarar Chaat. The tamarind sauce and the Yogurt Cucumber Raita that were brought out were great sauces. Everything is flavorful, tastes authentic, and is cooked well (ex. meats are tender and not dry) Our entire party loved the meal! I will definitely return one day to try more

Another fabulous meal and the best service in the city

Great food, incredible service, made for a fantastic night I love this restaurant and they showed some out of towers an incredible experience

Yay for the new location! Plenty of parking and plenty of tables and seating. Mix of booths and chairs. Dimly lit. They have high chairs! We had a party of 5 + a toddler on Sunday, 4/20/25, at 6 pm and were seated right away. You get free dessert if you're celebrating a birthday! We split 3 appetizers and we each got our own entree. Here's what I had: - Naan ($3): Warm and delicious! - Garlic Naan ($5): Warm and tasty! - Shingaarar Chaat ($9): We always get this appetizer. Deconstructed samosa. It hits the spot every time! - 2 Piece Vegetable Shingaara ($5): Good, but I prefer the shingaarar chaat! But if you need another appetizer, this is a good option for sure! - Ponir Tikka Moshol-La ($15): Our absolute favorite entree. Always our go-to. - Shaak Methi Malai Motor ($13): Glad I tried it! It was good, but I still prefer the ponir tikka moshol-la! - Rice Pudding (normally $4): I prefer the laal-mohon to this! Our waiter gave us this for free since we were celebrating a birthday! So generous! - Laal-Mohon (normally $4): Super sweet! Like a pancake soaking in syrup. Our waiter gave us this for free since we were celebrating a birthday! So generous! We love Ruchi! Good for dining in and for take-out!

Chicken Dopiazza

I had such a great experience at Ruchi. Abir was my server and he was so helpful with helping me choose what worked for my dietary needs. He recommended the Chicken Dopiazza, garlic naan, and rice pudding. I asked about the Mango Lasi and he spoke highly of it, and he was spot on! Everything was really good. The mango lassi was one of my favorites, refreshing, creamy, and not overly sweet. The rice pudding surprised me in the best way. It's lighter than the rice pudding I've had elsewhere, not thick or heavy; so it felt like the perfect dessert without being too much after dinner. I asked for the lightest spice level, so my dish wasn't spicy at all; perfect for me. The rice was really well done, the chicken was flavorful, and the garlic naan was hands down my favorite. Soft, warm, and hit the right spots. Overall, the food was comforting, flavorful, and well balanced. I'll definitely be back, especially for that naan and mango lassi!

This was our second time here; however the first time we ate too quickly to take any photos! The food was overall fantastic, and they have some of the best naan. Everyone who served to us was super friendly. Their decor is all super nice as well, so you'd have something to look at after you order. We ordered the chicken 65, peshwari naan, lamb boti kabab, chicken dapiazza, mixed tandoori, beef biryani, and garlic naan. The chicken 65 was very good and the peppers added a freshness. They were slightly battered but it wasn't too thick and gave the chicken some crunch. The peshwari naan was amazing, the fruit was super tiny and evenly dispersed. We will definitely be ordering this again. The lamb boti kabab came out sizzling, which was very fun to see. It tasted just as good as it looked, (which was awesome). Cooked just right, and flavourful without being overly salty. The chicken dapiazza was saucy and the perfect add on for the rice. The mixed tandoori was a great sampler of all the different proteins. Next time we will definitely be getting a shrimp dish. The beef biryani was extremely filling, and had a ton of beef in it. We will be getting another biryani next time for sure. The garlic naan was delicious, especially when eaten hot.

Lamb Vindaloo

Been coming to this restaurant for years because the food absolutely slaps. I've never come here and NOT enjoyed my meal. This time, we got a fried cauliflower appetizer (unbelievable- forgot to take a picture because I inhaled it), lamb vindaloo at spice level 1000, and butter chicken with negative spice (for me). The food came with rice, but I ordered garlic naan to eat my chicken with. I had enough for leftovers and they hit the spot the second time, too. The service was lovely and the ambiance of the new location is beautiful. Clean, calm, and pretty. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful new open and airy location. They still have the same wonderful staff, and the food is still fabulous!

Great staff team. Nice atmosphere. Delicious food! Came here upon group recommendations. Ashan greated us warmly & gave us solid recommendations from their wide menu of options, explaining the nuances of the variety. Abir & Terak were friendly & also gave us good service. We'll definitely be back@

Tikka Moshola, Chicken Bhuna, Bombay Aloo
Sammy L.

Our first time at Ruchi from a recommendation of a friend- and we went to their newly opened location. Plenty of parking and went on a Friday night with no reservation. The food was amazing, all so flavorful and perfectly spiced. The price was also very reasonable compared to other places we've been to. We got the kopi pakora (cauliflower) dish, and it was perfectly crisped and had great sauce on it. We also got the chicken tikka masala, which was so smooth and sweet. We ordered the Bombay aloo (spicy potato dish) and the chicken bhuna, which also had great flavor, I would have preferred just a touch more salt, but the spices were on point.came with a generous portion of rice and we ordered a side of naan. The waiters and staff were all so friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommend and will be coming again, glad to have found a new favorite in Atlanta!

The pur, a kind of puffy bread. It came to the table hot!

It is not a big place but big enough for our party of five, including two young children. The odors emanating from the kitchen were fabulous. We were seated immediately and well taken care of by the staff. The children got high chairs and their drinks came in cups with covers and straws. The adults ordered a variety of dishes including Pur (a bread that was like a balloon filled with air until it deflated when cut), naan, shingaara (like samosas), daal, and aloo. I ordered a Bangladeshi fish special called Ilish shorshay which was some slices of fish (with bones) in a mild tomato sauce. It was difficult to separate the bones hidden inside that sauce but it was delicious. We also had a large dish of fragrant rice and some thin seed crackers with sauce came to the table before we ordered. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took excellent care of us.

Bullet Naan (way too spicy for our taste)
Melanie H.

With all of the good reviews of this establishment we were looking forward to giving it a try. Unfortunately, the dishes we tried didn't live up to the hype. We ordered the Chicken Vindaloo, Shaak Ponir, and Bullet Naan. We've never had Bullet Naan before, and the description on the menu read "with chopped green chili". We can appreciate a little heat so we figured we'd give it a try. What a mistake! The naan is completely filled with the hottest uncooked green chili we couldn't take more than a few bites. I wish our sever would've given us fair warning because we ended up wasting it. Unnecessarily spicy is pretty much how I would sum up the other two dishes we had as well. I can understand the Vindaloo having some spice, but the Shaak Ponir should not have been spicy at all. The food was lacking the depth of flavor we're accustomed to with Indian/Bangladeshi food. Our server was pleasant for most of the service until she asked if we needed a to go container and we said no. She seemed to be offended and treated us differently after that. She went from being attentive to making us wait forever for the check, then waiting forever for her to pick it up.

Stopped in here after noticing it in a shopping center. Came in close to 2 pm for lunch. It was quiet inside. Big and lots of seating. Server came and helped me decide what to get. Food came and it was really tasty. It was about 16 bucks for everything which was more than I could eat. I would come back here again.

They were friendly and food came out within 10 minutes. We got chicken Tikka masala, lamb Briyani, and garlic naan. The lamb was soft and we requested mild, so the flavor was light. We thought the dishes were relatively enjoyable for a quick take out situation, but the flavors/seasoning were on the light side. The garlic naan didnt have much of a garlic kick, which made it underwhelming. The main dishes were like $12-15. The prices appear to be the same as years ago! It looked like they were under construction with chairs out front. The interior could use some washing/cleaning around the walls and doors. I noticed the health inspection updates on yelp right before I wrote this post and it looks like the scores have gone down over the past 5 years.

The prices were excellent! The chicken samosas were delicious! I enjoyed the green dipping sauce too. It had a little bit of heat. They were completely stuffed with filling. My entree with paneer and peas was ordered medium hot spicy. It had a great kick! The whole meal was flavorful. At the end they gave us a side of kheer for dessert. I enjoyed that too. I would certainly come back if I was in the area.

EAT THE SAMOSAS! Oh my goodness I order at least 20 at a time of their spicy chicken samosas. They…read moreare the best meat samosas that I have had in any place I have been to so far. DO NOT FORGET THE TAMARIND SUACE. It really enhances the already delicious samosas. I see the size of the samosas have gotten smaller (I will blame inflation...). Hopefully they do not get even smaller and become bite sized. I like the biriyani too. The flavor is light but I cannot get enough of it for some reason. Goat and chicken biriyani both tasty. The people who work here are super nice as well.

I'm going to write this review, but before I do that go ahead and order a beef/goat curry (if you…read morelike a little spice in your life) or a chicken korma (if you like more of a sweet and savory flavor) to-go. I've been trying to enjoy their food for months, and I will say I can't believe I didn't just come down on a weekend. (It's quite a ways for me, and with work... honestly I'm just making excuses. Now I know I needed to stop whining and just go.) The employees at the restaurant and grocery store both were very friendly! They helped me out tremendously as I had no idea what I wanted to eat and shop for, mostly because I've never had this type of cuisine. The flavor profile is insane. Especially in the three things I recommend. This corner of the world is known for their seasonings, and they 100% know how to use them. The meals here make you actually stop and appreciate the love that's cooked into the food. I honestly can't wait to try more meals here. This team really carries the flavor and quality to a whole new standard! It took me two days to type this up, as I honestly couldn't figure out how to put my experience into words. I really hope you enjoy your meal at least half as much as I have. Cons? I will say if you're not accustomed to this style of traditionally prepared meals, they do leave the bone in. Don't let that detour you, as there is a science behind the reason. Also, some people really like the bone marrow inside the bone. So that is the reason for the question mark, as I personally don't mind but know some people do. Also, you may want to park in the gas station next door as the parking lot is a little crowded at times. Plus you'll have a red light to aid in your departure.
