Such a hole in the wall place to get best momos in all of Georgia!! It is a quiet restaurant inside the Ace Hardware plaza on Lawerenceville highway in Tucker. They have ample of parking and are visible from regular traffic. This restaurant was recommended by another Nepalese business to me, the owner is a kind and generous person. The food is bomb!! Their momos and chowmein are must try. They have vegetarian, pescatarian and non vegetarian options with a wide variety of local and Nepalese beers. Great for dining alone, with a group or family. They also offer take out through major delivery apps. Definitely coming back for more. Kudos to staff and management for such delicious food, casual ambiance and a neat family owned business.

    Far far. Tasty.

Everest Gorkhali Kitchen is hands down one of our favorite spots for incredible Nepali and Indian cuisine! Every visit has been a delight, whether it's just my wife and me enjoying a quiet meal or a full table of fifteen hungry, loud friends. No matter the crowd, the service is consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming--a rare and wonderful thing. The food? Absolutely outstanding. The Veggie Samosas are crisp and flavorful, the Sag Paneer is comfort food, and the Chicken Korma is smooth--rich with flavor. I think you're going to like the momo. Momo (a.k.a. "dumplings") are slightly different from the dumplings you'll find in any Chinese restaurant. I like the Veggie Momo and the Chicken Momo. But my friends have raved about the Jhol Momo, which I think is any variety of momo swimming in a fragrant, spicy broth. I may have to try this next time. If I had one small complaint, it's that they don't make their own naan. But honestly, with food this good, it's easy to overlook. Everest Gorkhali Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, well-crafted dishes and exceptional service. Can't wait for our next meal there! Holler if you're coming with.

This is my first time at Everest Gorkhali kitchen with a friend. We were greeted right away and we Sat comfortably in a nice booth. We ordered some appetizers and an entree to share. The food was definitely authentic and tasty. It is a new experience that we shared and we're thankful.

Yummy and spicy! That is all I have to say. Everest Gorkhali Kitchen is a Nepalese restaurant that is like a mom and pop shop. It is definitely a hole in the wall, but it is so delicious! The space inside is small and simply decorated, and the service was quick. This was my first time eating Nepalese food and I am very pleased. My friend and I ordered the Wai-Wai Sadako, Chili Momo, Chicken Makhani, Mango Lassi, and Garlic Naan. The Wai-Wai Sadako was a really tasty appetizer. It was kind of like broken dry ramen with various vegetables and spices. I will say that this was a really spicy dish and I have a good spice tolerance level. But I think it was worth the pain. The Chili Momo had a nice flavor on the outside, but I am not a fan of dumplings so it was my least favorite dish. My friend liked it, though! I loved the Chicken Makhani, which kind of tasted like chicken tikka masala but sweeter. It paired well with the Garlic Naan, which I thought could be more garlicky. The restaurant also gave us a free appetizer dish which tasted like fried shrimp chips with extra seasoning. I also got the Mango Lassi and it tasted great. Overall, I recommend this place for anyone nearby or anyone who wants an introduction to Nepalese food (they also have Thai and Chinese food on their menu).

Out and about in my new neighbourhood and found this fantastic Nepalese restaurant. The gentleman helping me was kind and helpful and I ordered the Vegetable Pakora and Pork Jhol Momo and a Thai tea to drink. They were absolutely fantastic. It's so hard to find Nepalese food on the other side of Atlanta, I'm very excited to try the rest of the items on the menu here.

Okay, it's a strip mall. Old one. But ignore that. Tons of free parking. And if you time it right, the hardware store next door is pretty awesome. But I digress. Opened the door on a chilly Valentine's night. Directed to pick a table. The aromas. Oh, boy. Yum. Everyone is smiling. The people eating are smiling more. Great menu. Tons of options. We zero in. My friend loves saag paneer. She ordered it slightly spicy. I ordered the jhol momos. The owner? took our order and he apologized as they were getting a lot of take out orders. Took about 15 minutes for food. Whatevs. Both dishes were phenomenal. Reheated the leftovers last night. Still spectacular. The service is amazing. And I don't say that lightly. They have a genuine joy to be able to serve you their delicious food. This place is a gem.

Service was friendly. Everything was way too peppery so I had a difficult time eating any of my dinner.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food overall was just so-so, but the rice was the biggest letdown ...it was dry, tasted old, and seemed like it had been sitting for quite a while. Good rice is such an important part of an Indian meal, so it really affected the entire experience. With so many excellent, authentic Indian restaurants in the area, it's hard to recommend this place in its current state. I hope the owners put more care and attention into the quality and freshness of their food because the potential is there. Until then, I'd suggest trying one of the many other great Indian restaurants nearby.

Very limited parking. Street parking or behind the restaurant…read more Very spacious interior and optional outdoor seating. Wait to be seated...went during lunch and that was a little frustrating. Waitstaff was a little irritated with something else. Complimentary appetizer came out. Then samosas. Beautiful presentation, just not as flavorful as I'm use to. Then garlic naan. Oh my gosh! Those were amazing. Curry veggies comes with briyani rice. I ordered mild spice, tasted like no spice. Very filling just wouldn't order again. I would go back for their buffet.
