    Far far. Tasty.

Everest Gorkhali Kitchen is hands down one of our favorite spots for incredible Nepali and Indian cuisine! Every visit has been a delight, whether it's just my wife and me enjoying a quiet meal or a full table of fifteen hungry, loud friends. No matter the crowd, the service is consistently warm, attentive, and welcoming--a rare and wonderful thing. The food? Absolutely outstanding. The Veggie Samosas are crisp and flavorful, the Sag Paneer is comfort food, and the Chicken Korma is smooth--rich with flavor. I think you're going to like the momo. Momo (a.k.a. "dumplings") are slightly different from the dumplings you'll find in any Chinese restaurant. I like the Veggie Momo and the Chicken Momo. But my friends have raved about the Jhol Momo, which I think is any variety of momo swimming in a fragrant, spicy broth. I may have to try this next time. If I had one small complaint, it's that they don't make their own naan. But honestly, with food this good, it's easy to overlook. Everest Gorkhali Kitchen is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious, well-crafted dishes and exceptional service. Can't wait for our next meal there! Holler if you're coming with.

Garlic Naan, Chili Momo, Wai-Wai Sadako, and Chicken Makhani

Yummy and spicy! That is all I have to say. Everest Gorkhali Kitchen is a Nepalese restaurant that is like a mom and pop shop. It is definitely a hole in the wall, but it is so delicious! The space inside is small and simply decorated, and the service was quick. This was my first time eating Nepalese food and I am very pleased. My friend and I ordered the Wai-Wai Sadako, Chili Momo, Chicken Makhani, Mango Lassi, and Garlic Naan. The Wai-Wai Sadako was a really tasty appetizer. It was kind of like broken dry ramen with various vegetables and spices. I will say that this was a really spicy dish and I have a good spice tolerance level. But I think it was worth the pain. The Chili Momo had a nice flavor on the outside, but I am not a fan of dumplings so it was my least favorite dish. My friend liked it, though! I loved the Chicken Makhani, which kind of tasted like chicken tikka masala but sweeter. It paired well with the Garlic Naan, which I thought could be more garlicky. The restaurant also gave us a free appetizer dish which tasted like fried shrimp chips with extra seasoning. I also got the Mango Lassi and it tasted great. Overall, I recommend this place for anyone nearby or anyone who wants an introduction to Nepalese food (they also have Thai and Chinese food on their menu).

Out and about in my new neighbourhood and found this fantastic Nepalese restaurant. The gentleman helping me was kind and helpful and I ordered the Vegetable Pakora and Pork Jhol Momo and a Thai tea to drink. They were absolutely fantastic. It's so hard to find Nepalese food on the other side of Atlanta, I'm very excited to try the rest of the items on the menu here.

Okay, it's a strip mall. Old one. But ignore that. Tons of free parking. And if you time it right, the hardware store next door is pretty awesome. But I digress. Opened the door on a chilly Valentine's night. Directed to pick a table. The aromas. Oh, boy. Yum. Everyone is smiling. The people eating are smiling more. Great menu. Tons of options. We zero in. My friend loves saag paneer. She ordered it slightly spicy. I ordered the jhol momos. The owner? took our order and he apologized as they were getting a lot of take out orders. Took about 15 minutes for food. Whatevs. Both dishes were phenomenal. Reheated the leftovers last night. Still spectacular. The service is amazing. And I don't say that lightly. They have a genuine joy to be able to serve you their delicious food. This place is a gem.

It is rare to have a fellow chef/cook to be impressed by food. I have spent the last 30 years preparing and creating vegan/vegetarian recipes and when you have done it for so long it is hard to impress me. Masti has impressed me again, again and again. Masti Indian Street Eats in John's Creek, Ga is by far the best at executing Vegetarian Indian Street Food. Do not be put off by the name "Street food". In Indian culture Street Food is a term designated for simple hand held food sold in the streets of busy Indian cities. Masti does it the best. The dishes that I had this time are a tasty surprise. Vada Pav is a potato based veggie patty that has a buttery overtone. Savory and delicious. The best dish of the night is Palak Chat, a dish that excellently combines fried spinach in a cool salad format with a Tamarind dressing. Absolutely delicious. They have freshly made naan bread that is delicious. My wife ate the Chicken Alfredo and she said it the best "alfredo" that she has had. Of courses, it is with a South Indian taste. The saag (spinach) paneer is fresh and IS the best Indian spinach dish in Atlanta metro. The spinach tastes as fresh as the spinach that I have tasted from any farm. Their prices are fair and reasonable. Do yourself a favor and try their food. Excellent area, near movie theaters, Whole Foods, and coffee places so make a day of the experience.

The vegetarian buffet is $12.99, while the regular buffet is $16.50, making it a great value for the variety offered. One of the highlights was the complimentary naan--soft, buttery, and fresh. The buffet featured a delicious spread, including butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, biryani, palak paneer, chana masala, samosas, and even curry goat. There was also a fresh salad bar and hot chai tea to round out the meal. The service was great, and the ambiance felt warm and authentic, which made the experience even more enjoyable. My only small critique is that I wish they had ice available for the beverages. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The food was flavorful and satisfying without leaving me feeling overly stuffed. The hot chai tea was the perfect finishing touch. I'm already looking forward to visiting again.

I got there around 3pm so most everything needed a real good stir. You could tell it had been sitting for a while. The Punjabi Khadi had one small pakora left and a whole lot of sauce. The gentleman had water for me and a nice serving of fresh naan waiting for me before I even sat down. He was quick to clear dirty dishes. I've never been to Global Mall before but enjoyed a stroll after my meal.
