They have a 'good value' lunch buffet that lasts until 4pm, seven days a week. I got the veg option and it was only $11.99. I got there around 3pm so most everything needed a real good stir. You could tell it had been sitting for a while. The Punjabi Khadi had one small pakora left and a whole lot of sauce. I still enjoyed it. The dishes were a bit too oily for my liking. It was good for a one meal of the day and nothing else before it in the day and nothing again until tomorrow. The service was great. The gentleman had water for me and a nice serving of fresh naan waiting for me before I even sat down. He was quick to clear dirty dishes. For the dine-in option, the service was pretty typical of a usual restaurant. It can be a pretty quiet restaurant for the most part, unless people are talking or there is music playing. There were a lot of good options at the lunch buffet; I really enjoyed the Chicken Biryani. However, I am not a fan of their Chicken Tikka Masala as it tastes too tomato-y and lacks in spice and flavor for me.As for the dine-in option, I feel like you can never go wrong with Garlic Naan. Went to cafe Bombay with my classmates and teacher one day. Service was super nice and it bas a huge area for big parties. They also have a buffet in the mornings and I think in Fridays. We came in at around 5pm and it was not busy but by the time we left most of the front of the restaurant was filled up and there were some tables in the bigger dining area. My friend ordered a shot and it took them about 10 minutes to bring it out for her even though we were the only table there. I ordered a chicken that was supposed to be spicy but it was super dry and not spicy. I ended up giving it to my friend so she can take it home to her husband. It's always disappointing when Indian food is under seasoned/spiced but that is definitely not a problem here! The naan was delicious. We got the naan basket with garlic, onion, and plain naan. I am writing this review while having their buffet. Let me start off with gravy, it was cold and not flavorful at all. Rice was hard and dried up. Chicken felt raw and all the gravy was very watery. Prices are way to high for buffet, it doesn't meet the quality or quantity. I don't recommend wasting your money here there are plenty of other restaurants which is worth the price. While paying the bill I kindly was trying to convey my message to manager saying that I had some issues with food and services instead of apologizing or taking my feedback he said "OH REALLY" how rude was that! I almost ended paying $80 for the shitty service and food and the manager had guts to ask me that I wrote the review while I was paying, I said yes I did! Still didn't hear any sorry or anything.
