Great mom-and-pop restaurant. The food was good--my first time trying Indian cuisine, and it wasn't bad. I had the lamb and rice. Service was great; there was a slight language barrier, but the people were very kind. Tried some other things as well ,but can't pronounce the name of the food. I screenshot a picture of what I ordered.

Super great food, and fresh! It's mainly a catering business, but they have a few tables for dining in. We had the vegetable pakora, palak paneer, and tiki masala- all excellent. She gave us some shrimp and rice to try, really good!

They were friendly and food came out within 10 minutes. We got chicken Tikka masala, lamb Briyani, and garlic naan. The lamb was soft and we requested mild, so the flavor was light. We thought the dishes were relatively enjoyable for a quick take out situation, but the flavors/seasoning were on the light side. The garlic naan didnt have much of a garlic kick, which made it underwhelming. The main dishes were like $12-15. The prices appear to be the same as years ago! It looked like they were under construction with chairs out front. The interior could use some washing/cleaning around the walls and doors. I noticed the health inspection updates on yelp right before I wrote this post and it looks like the scores have gone down over the past 5 years.

The prices were excellent! The chicken samosas were delicious! I enjoyed the green dipping sauce too. It had a little bit of heat. They were completely stuffed with filling. My entree with paneer and peas was ordered medium hot spicy. It had a great kick! The whole meal was flavorful. At the end they gave us a side of kheer for dessert. I enjoyed that too. I would certainly come back if I was in the area.

Delicious Bangladeshi food!!!…read more I've tried the Chicken Tikka Masala ($17), Chicken 65 ($10), and garlic naan ($5), onion pakora ($8) and everything was so delicious. The Chicken 65 is super spicy, flavorful, and honestly so addictive--I definitely recommend trying it if you like heat. The Chicken Tikka Masala is exactly how I like it: creamy, rich, and full of flavor. Onion pakora was tasty. The garlic naan was fluffy, soft, and cooked perfectly. The service is always great too. Highly recommend checking this place out!

We were craving something a little different, so we landed on Indian/Bangladeshi cuisine. The reviews made the choice easy, so we headed straight to their Chamblee location. We were greeted right away and seated immediately, which was a great start. Badur (apologies if I'm spelling that wrong!) took care of us the entire time and was fantastic--super helpful with the menu and quick to offer great recommendations. We kicked things off with the Daal Puri: two mini, airy, soft flatbreads stuffed with lentils. They reminded me of a very light, crispy empanada, and I loved them. The accompanying tamarind sauce balanced everything perfectly. Definitely ordering that again on our next visit. For the mains, I went with the butter chicken, which was excellent. The chicken tasted like it had been smoked or grilled before being mixed into the sauce, and that extra flavor made it stand out. My friend ordered the Goat Bhuna, which was also delicious. Both dishes came with Baashmoti polao rice. We also added the Mixed Naan--stuffed with cheese, onion, garlic, and cilantro--and it was incredibly good. Overall, we had an amazing time. Great service, fantastic food, and a really enjoyable vibe. Solid 10/10. We'll definitely be back soon!

EAT THE SAMOSAS! Oh my goodness I order at least 20 at a time of their spicy chicken samosas. They…read moreare the best meat samosas that I have had in any place I have been to so far. DO NOT FORGET THE TAMARIND SUACE. It really enhances the already delicious samosas. I see the size of the samosas have gotten smaller (I will blame inflation...). Hopefully they do not get even smaller and become bite sized. I like the biriyani too. The flavor is light but I cannot get enough of it for some reason. Goat and chicken biriyani both tasty. The people who work here are super nice as well.

I've been trying to enjoy their food for months, and I will say I can't believe I didn't just come down on a weekend. (It's quite a ways for me, and with work... honestly I'm just making excuses. Now I know I needed to stop whining and just go.) The employees at the restaurant and grocery store both were very friendly! They helped me out tremendously as I had no idea what I wanted to eat and shop for, mostly because I've never had this type of cuisine. The flavor profile is insane. Especially in the three things I recommend. This corner of the world is known for their seasonings, and they 100% know how to use them. The meals here make you actually stop and appreciate the love that's cooked into the food. I honestly can't wait to try more meals here. This team really carries the flavor and quality to a whole new standard! It took me two days to type this up, as I honestly couldn't figure out how to put my experience into words. I really hope you enjoy your meal at least half as much as I have. Cons? I will say if you're not accustomed to this style of traditionally prepared meals, they do leave the bone in. Don't let that detour you, as there is a science behind the reason. Also, some people really like the bone marrow inside the bone. So that is the reason for the question mark, as I personally don't mind but know some people do. Also, you may want to park in the gas station next door as the parking lot is a little crowded at times. Plus you'll have a red light to aid in your departure.

My family and I wanted to try this new bengladeshi restaurant. We walked in and noticed how clean…read morethe place was. We ordered our food at the counter and to our surprise, the food was actually reasonably price for bengladeshi food. Our total came up around $60 for three people and we still had food remaining. A couple things I didn't like: They used paper plates which I find was not presentable especially with this type of cuisine since some of our dishes were saucey. I also didn't like how they gave us the rice in one paper plate. They should've given us rice in individual bowls. Also the sauces for the chicken samosas lacked flavor and was too liquidy They also used a lot of oil in their cooking. What we ordered: three chicken samosas, chicken tikka masala, goat curry, chicken roast, garlic naan, and lamb biriyani Our favorite dish was the goat curry. It was very flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice that kind of just sneaks up on you. Chicken tikka masala was also great if you like it in the sweeter side. I also felt like it could be creamier. The lamb biriyani was okay but it had the most oil on the plate. Least favorite was the chicken roast. I thought it was going to be like a bbq type of chicken but it turns out that it's just a really saucey dish. Sadly, I didn't really like the flavor of it. Overall, I think that ZamZam is worth visiting again but I will probably only order to-go instead of dining in. I really liked how the food was reasonably priced.

SMALL paper bowl of Chicken Curry $9.99 SMALL paper plate of low quality Rice $3.00 That's $13.00 Before tax for a chicken curry that has 1 small tiny piece of bone chicken, a bunch of thick goopy gravy and other chicken bones without the meat. It cost the restaurant about $3.00 or less for serving you paper plates or low quality chicken & rice making them a minimum of a $10 profit. Quality: horrible. However they do give you a free glass of tap water. The food is PRE-Made frozen and microwaved and served to you. Scam!! Not fresh. Service- it's the kitchen staff serving you and they don't speak English. Ambience- it stinks like raw goat meat cause there is a butcher shop right inside the restaurant and a supermarket with over priced stuff. The cash register guy was picking his nose and texting. Rolled his booger after picking it and flicked across the room!! Yuck!!! Toilet has one of those bum washing water containers so folks can wash their behind with their fingers. Imagine your cook takes a dump and washes his behind with his fingers and uses the butt washer water container and than goes and cooks your food after. Throw-up!! Not paying $13+ for a nasty plate of low grade SMALL chicken curry and rice. I can go to a buffet and get a full meal plus for that price.

We got: - Chicken Satay: The chicken itself was so believable, stringy and smoky! And crunchy (though I'm used to satay meat being grilled). The sauce was tasty too- peanut-y, sweet, hint of curry. However, for $8, I'd expect at least 4 skewers. - Shrimp Chow Kway Teow: CKT is one of my favorite noodle dishes ever, and Mamak's version certainly did it justice. The wok hei was so present, the noodles perfectly chewy, and the veggies (snow pea, onion, carrot, bean sprouts) well-cooked. The shrimp was insane, so bouncy and real-feeling. - Olive Fried Rice: Can't say I've ever had olive leaves before, this dish was delightful! Lots of great toppings (tofu, carrot, green bean, mushroom) that gave some textural diversity. - Black Pepper Beef: The black pepper essence was clearly distinguishable, but the sauce was too sweet for me. The beef was truly reminiscent of the actual thing. Lots of tasty veggies again (cauliflower, celery, jicama, carrot, bell pepper). Overall, taste-wise, all of the dishes were great; however, we did not feel portion sizes matched prices. Service could also stand to improve, with regards to attentiveness. To note, the restaurant is self-seating (I wish there was something that said this at the entrance). You can pay the bill via QR code, but there's a platform fee (I wonder if you could avoid that if you pay physically). Lots of parking available. 9/10 would recommend!
