A very differently tasting food serving restaurant with all the flavorful North Indian main dishes (Vegetarian only) at a very reasonable price and a pretty good ambience, then this should be the place for you. Would have gone past this building a 100 times and never did I notice this restaurant. Got here because someone recommended and it was very much worth it. Dine in at 7:30 PM was great with very less crown on a Thursday. THE FOOD: We ordered the North Indian Thali (says it's available until 3PM, looks like it's available through the dinner time as well). Was served in a nice Wooden board with Rice, Achar (pickle), Boondhi Raitha, Tandoori Roti (was soo good), Aloo Gobi masala, Shahi Paneer, Chole, Dhal Tadka and Paapad. The Chole was tasing so different and I guess it's the Amritsari Chole. The Shahi Paneer was top notch and Dal tadka as well. AlooGobi was super spicy but the taste was good. The single Roti piece is definitely not enough I feel, and would require another to complete the thali. Slightly pricey there I feel. We also got a AlooTikki Chaat and that tasted really good. The quantity was pretty much good for one person. I would say the spice levels were spot on. Not too much spicy (Honest these days are making it very spicy) or bland. Good quantity and sat well on the tummy. And literally did see a family enjoying their food very much and gave a very nice feeling while we were waiting for our food. SERVICE & AMBIENCE: The ambience was very much nice with all colorful wall paintings and aesthetics and wall hangings. Well lit. But there was some unpleasant smell that was kind of bothering us. I wish they address it. It wasn't crowded and the food arrived in less than 5-10minutes of ordering. The parking could be a concern. The staffs were very much courteous and polite. You can find everything from Indian street food, to sizzlers (food on a hot sizzling plate), to North Indian dishes and even sweets!! It's close to Patel Plaza and in the same complex as Cherians. Nathu's is my new obsession!! The chana bhatura is a must-try. The chana is perfectly seasoned and savory, and the bhatura is so tender and pillowy. And we ended up ordering extra sides of that pickled onion that comes with it, it's so delicious and refreshing with it! We also got the masala dosa, chili paneer, and some mango lassi. The dosa was really big LOL. The servers were quick, attentive, and enthusiastic. And the walls are so cute and brightly colored! I had been waiting for Delhi's favorite place to open and I had been wanting to visit this place for long. I finally visited this place last Saturday and here is a summary of my experience there: 1) Ambiance 5/5: I loved the vibrant and inviting ambiance with inviting bright colors. There is not a lot of parking in front but if you move a little behind the store, you will find more parking. 2) Service 4/5: The service was quick and prompt but I was a little disappointed since they served warm water(which I requested) in plastic glass and there was an instance where the server served us papadi chaat which looked very different and when I asked them there were not sure what it was. Also, there was a mixup where they served matar paneer to my friend who ordered kadai paneer and vice versa. I know this is a small mistake but this gave my friends who were trying Indian food for the first time, a wrong perception. 3) Food 4/5: Here is the summary of the food that we ordered: a) Mango Lassi: This was delicious and thick. b) Chana Bhatura: This is served with 2 bhaturas and chole. I asked them to make it a little spicy. It was spicy but it lacked taste for me. c) Papadi chaat looked a little different and it was spicier than expected for my wife. She had a mild tolerance for spices but she felt it was too spicy. d) Matar paneer: This was a little on the sweeter side and good in taste. e) Kadai paneer: This was a little spicy as expected and rich is gravy and taste f) Gobi Manchurian: This was a little let down :(. I know we have different names here but I was expecting crispy gobhi with Indo-Chinese sauce but this was more like the gravy version. PS: I have not tried the raj kachori yet as I had a cough and cold but this is the first place in Atlanta to serve raj kachori as far as I know so I am definitely going to try it the next time. 5) Value for Money 4/5: The food items as averagely priced with some great in taste and some not so good so I will say its a mixed bag for me but I am definitely going to come back as I want to try the Raj Kachori. Overall definitely worth a visit but I missed the Delhi taste here. I live near John's Creek and while there are a number of Indian restaurants in the area, I've not been able to find one that impressed me enough to be more than a one and done. I've had my eye on Nathus Sweets for a while and finally had a chance to try it. I had the Chana Bhatura and it was delicious!! I've never had Bhatura before and it makes for a great way to enjoy your meal. The flavors of the Chana were exactly what I was hoping for. My only regret was that I was by myself and next time will be sure to bring my wife so that we can share a few more of their dishes that I know will be great. She checked in on our food and made sure I was able to order something that fit my dietary restrictions. You walk in go to the counter order food pick up a number and sit down. They bring most of the food and dinner plates to you. It's a good place like I said, but some of the flavors weren't my favorite. The desserts were delicious, the dosa was delicious, some of the other foods were good. The Samosa wasn't my favorite. I don't know what it's called, but we got something else which was kind of meh. I got the noodles which I did not enjoy. Really good fresh and hot food! I was visiting town and my friend who is a local brought me here. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But the inside is bright, dynamic, clean and fun! Once inside, you walk up to the counter, order and pay, and take your number to a table. Then, they bring your food out nice and steamy! I really enjoyed the sweet lassi and golgappa. I loved that there were no onions in the potato mix, and it included two different kinds of pani. One was the traditional greenish one while the other was more reddish. Both were delicious. It made it even more fun than usual! The veg momos also were fresh and flavorful. We also ordered the chana batura, and it was really tasty as well. But I think I was already just so full. After being in Atlanta for so long and searching for chole bhature everywhere, I can say this is the closest best Delhi chole bhature you get here. Being from Delhi I loved each bite of it. This place is in a slightly separate area from the famous Patel Plaza conglomeration of restaurants; it's kind of hard to get into due to construction on the road, so I actually parked at the plaza and walked over. It seems like everyone that posted pictures of this place got the chana bhatura. And when I walked in, the place was crowded despite the off hour, and there were a lot of chana bhatura tables. Indeed, one couple just got two orders of this. So I'm not being overly creative by saying I ordered the chana bhatura. But it is every bit as good as it looked. The freshly puffed bread and the complex and slightly spicy chickpeas would be a meal by themselves, but this place really does it right with accompaniments. I got a fried chili pepper and a fresh one on the side with some pickled vegetables that add a wonderful contrast of flavors and textures. One of the best renditions of this dish I've ever had, and I've had, and I've had lots. Ordering a chai wasn't a bad decision either; it came with some little cookies for dipping and while there was sugar on the side, it was flavorful enough without. This place was bustling despite ample competition. The rest of the menu looks full of delicious vegetarian specials. The name on the door speaks of sweets, but if I'm being honest, I've never really gotten into Indian desserts despite having tried several. But come for the savories for sure. read more

Nathus sweets is a restaurant and sweet shop with vegetarian food. The Indo-Chinese food scene in Atlanta is not vast and I love that Nathus has and Indo-Chinese section of their menu. We tried the gobi Manchurian, chili paneer, vegetable noodles, and the Singapore fried rice and everything was delicious. The Singapore fried rice is spicy but I didn't think it was too hot. If you are sensitive to spice then the Indo-Chinese section might be hard to maneuver. The woman at the counter was very nice and helpful when I ordered. She answered all of my questions and helped me at the sweets counter when I ordered a few items. The servers at the table were also very attentive. The location is cutely decorated and is clean and bright. It is a mix of counter service and table service so it is a little more elevated than a fast casual restaurant without being too stuffy. I had every intention of getting dosa when I arrived but I had to pivot when I saw the Indo-Chinese part of the menu.
