One word- OUTSTANDING!!! This is the old Wendy's just down…read morefrom Northlake Mall, on Lavista Road. It is YELLOW- and yes, you can almost miss it if you are going too fast. A decent size parking lot, a round-robin of customers & I spoke to a few who are repeats- they love it! The restaurant is clean & organized- booths & tables. Charging stations (plugs) available as well. Walk up counter, place order, wait for your number to be called. Do not be in a rush- made-to-order!! Worth the wait!!! If you are not starving- split a meal with a friend- portions are huge & truly DELICIOUS!!! Ask for sauces, if you want. They have tartare, cocktail & homemade hot sauces. Fresh lemons too. Pepsi products, sweet/unsweetened tea... NO ALCOHOL! Outstanding employees! All so nice! Big menu- ask for one if needed, they have scrolling screens & it is hard to figure out. Menu is best to figure out what you want. Literally EVERYTHING was SO fresh & delicious!!! Mom thought salty, so maybe ask for light/no salt if this is a dietary restriction. They have fresh & fried options. Here are pics of our meals. All left with to-go's. Note, meals are served in to-go containers, not actual plates. The music is fun but WAY WAY WAY too loud. Heads up. I'd truly go back if in town. What an unexpected treat for dad's birthday. He was HAPPY!

Oh my! This is the Burger Place to go to. Will start is off with I really didn't want to go!!! I…read morewasn't sure I would like anything about it. We went with a friend and none of us had ever been. I was convinced before we arrived that I was NOT going to get what I wanted. I WAS WRONG. We each ordered a small one patty smashed burger, all with cheese, one with Smiley's sauce one it, one with the sauce on the side and one no sauce. We then ordered an order of fries and requested no spice. No problem. Then the homemade chips and no special sauce. Again, no problem. The homemade potato chips and fries came with Smiley's special sauce. Other condiments were on a table for your taking. Then the food arrived. The three of us just looked at this amazing plating of food. It was beautiful and we hoped it would taste half as good as it looked. We were in awe. All agreed it was the best burger we had eaten in a very long time. Would put it above other burgers in the Atlanta area and we have tried most of them. Service was some of the best. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious. We also got a pimento cheese sandwich for like $5 and their fries and smiley fries. I thought their plain fries were fine but the smileys were great! I didn't expect them to be crispy but they were! I didn't love their fry sauce but overall the food was amazing! They don't have a ton of parking so you have to park in the neighborhood but overall I really enjoyed this place!

First of all I am going to tell you that we have been eating at various Steak 'n Shakes for 45…read moreyears. We have loved SNS until now. I am not going to expand on the restaurants cleanliness...it was filthy or the knowledge of the employees...you would have thought it was their first day of work at SNS and this included the manager. The fries are still pretty good if they arrive hot. SNS has totally messed things up with their new burger. 100% Grass Fed is not always good for every beef recipe and Smash Burgers is not one of them. The grey hamburger patty came out at less than half the size of the bun. There were no crispy edges on either burger. Sometimes you need a little fat in that meat to achieve a good smash burger. Come on SNS, your patties are 2 ounces. The old blend of three cuts of beef couldn't have that much fat once cooked. The burger was dry, tough, chewy and tasteless...well I shouldn't say tasteless because that would be an improvement. Are you trying to appease the MAHA people in Washington? Trust me they don't give a poop about SNS. Sometimes ones need to stick their basics of what made them great. That's why great places survive. I say get you act together or you will be history within a year. As a Steak 'n Shake fan for years we will not be back. There are too many burger places to frequent. Go to Smileys Burger Club, NFA Burger, The General Muir, Freds Meat and Bread, The Po' Boy Shop, Mister Burger, even old McDonalds or Burger King. Can't recommend. Actually I recommend that you stay away or just go stop by to see how bad it really is. Service is dismal. It took us 30 minutes to get 2 single burgers and fries. Again, WE WILL NOT BE BACK and it makes us sad.
